Scope Promsri residences in Bangkok to be furnished by Ligne Roset
Dezeen promotion: the tropical gardens and luxury residences of this condominium building in Bangkok are set to be furnished with classic and bespoke pieces from French company Ligne Roset.
The eight-storey Scope Promsri is currently under construction in the Thai capital's lush and vibrant Sukhumvit neighbourhood, slated for completion in November 2022.

Developed by local real-estate Scope, the low-rise building will include 150 units that range from 28 to 34.99 square metres.
A collaboration with Ligne Roset through Ligne Roset Contract – the brand's first residential project in Southeast Asia – will see the brand furnish common areas and residences with existing and custom designs.
The building is centred around a pool and gardens reminiscent of a Mexican cenote
All Prado settees in the project will be designed to perfectly fit Scope Promsri's layouts, with the owners of the residences able to choose the fabric colours for their unit's Prado settee.
"We worked together with Ligne Roset extensively to refine the size, materials, and special colours and fabrics that can truly achieve what the design is meant to do," said Scope CEO, Yongyutt Chaipromprasith.
The building is organised around a central pool and tropical garden, influenced by the cenotes of Mexico's Yucatan peninsula, and offers residents the use of several communal outdoor, semi-outdoor and indoor spaces.

These lounge and relaxation areas will be furnished with Ligne Roset's Taru, Valmy and Saparella collections, amongst a curated selection of others.
Promsri Edition residences will include the Promsri Table designed specifically for this project, along with the Prado sofa by Christian Werner, which can be customised with the owners' choice of colour and fabric – only possible due to the bespoke manufacturing capabilities of Ligne Roset Contract.
Lounge areas will include Ligne Roset's Taru, Valmy and Saparella collections
Larger units also come with a pair of Ettoriano chairs by Claudio Dondoli and Marco Pocci.
Architectural features include full-sized windows with reflective glass and motorised blackout blinds for privacy, plus acoustic window film to reduce external noise transfer by 30 per cent.
Residences will also feature Ligne Roset furniture
Miele kitchen appliances, Liebherr fridges and Kohler bathroom fixtures all come as standard in every unit.

#5 renang & nugas (lagi)
ini udah kali ke berapa si D dateng ke jogja nyamperin gw kekosan. kita udah ngrencanain buat renang bareng. inget juga, waktu itu sempet bawain oleh2 es coklat yg enak banget waktu beli di jamaica, yg ada rumnya. sama bawain roti juga, bolu gitu yg katanya dia buat sendiri. dia dateng agak siangan, sekitar jam 2 gitu. pake jersey warna hitam, jersey kebanggan sekolahnya. btw lo tau kan kalo pake jersey bakal bau banget keringetnya apa lagi kena keringet siang2. tapi yang namanya sayang ya, pas dia dateng tetep aja tak peluk dan sempet rebahan bareng gitu dikasur. jadi kangen bau badannya deh ya ini :( seneng banget pokoknya waktu dibawain es yg enak banget.
istirahat sebentar kan dia langsung mandi, terus ngajakin ke mekdi buat nyelesaiin karya tulisnya. sekarang tinggal nyelesaiin laporannya, tahap finishing gitu, perbaikan kata-kata, dan benerin format. buat penelitiannya, kayaknya udah beres deh waktu itu. dua tikus tak berdosa si mosi sama mosa yg disayat kulitnya udah dibuang kata dia.
kita habis mandi, siap2, dan langsung pergi ke mekdi buat nyelesaiin tugas dia. kita milih mekdi soalnya nyari wifi lah yg jelas, tempatnya adem juga kan, sama beli mcflurry kesukaan dia. disela2 nugas kita sempetin foto gitu pake background kembang2 yg ada di mekdi lantai dua, yg pernah ke mekdi pasti tau, kita lumayan lama di mekdi, mungkin sampe tugas karya tulis dia sampe selesai.
habis nugas, kita nyari makan malem di sekitar samirono. gw ajakin dia kesana, ada capcay yang enak gitu. tapi dia waktu itu mesen magelangan. sebenernya gw gak begitu inget apa bener sih pas ini kita beli capcay sama magelangan atau yg lain. yg jelas kita pernah dateng ke capcay sekitaran samirono. habis makan kita langsung balik kosan kayaknya, lewat depan indomaret point kan kita, terus nemu jagung bakar gitu dan akhirnya berhenti buat beli jagung bakar, tapi kita pilih dibungkus aja dan dimakan dikos. sambil nunggu jangung di bakar, dia curhat banyak banget, ada masalah dikeluarganya gitu. gw agak kaget sih, dia curhat sesuatu yg menurut gw pribadi banget. tapi gw seneng juga sih, berarti dia nganggep kalo gw orang yg dia percaya banget buat dicurhatin, dia yakin sama gw dan mungkin dia juga mikir kalo gw bisa ngasih solusi. gw sih ngasih solusi sebisa dan menurut pandangan gw aja, soalnya apapun maslaahnya kembali ke diri pribadi kita.
jangung bakar manis 1, dan pedes 1 udah selesai dibakar. pas mau bayar ternyata cuma 6k, padahal tak pikir 2 jagung bisa sampe 15k ato 20k gitu. sampe kosan makan jagung sambil istirahat dan mau tidur cepet. besok kita mau renang soalnya. pagi-pagi kita bangun cepet buat siap-siap renang. prepare alat, terus air minum, manasi motor, dan kita langsung berangkat tanpa mandi ya. tapi ternyata pas sampe di depan gang motor gw bocor. damn! padahal itu masih pagi banget, sekitaran jam tujuh kurang seperempat dan belum ada bengkel buka. dia nawarin buat pake motor dia dulu aja, soalnya gak bakal nemu juga bengkel sepagi ini.
gw ngeiyain, dan setelah itu gw ngedrop motor gw di deket kosan, tapi gak begitu jauh juga dari jalan, biar nanti gampang juga nyari tukang tambalnya. waktu itu gw lupa, gw apa dia balik kekosan buat ngambil motornya dia. tapi kayaknya dia deh, soalnya gw masih ngurusin motor gw yg bocor. oke udah kan kita lanjut renang di kolam renang fik uny. untungnya pagi itu lumayan sepi dikolam. kita renang sekitaran sejam gitu, awalnya kita cuma mondar mandir di kolam yg paling lebar itu, tapi dia iseng ngajakin ke kolam yg 7 meteran. anjir, mana gw berani, gw gak begitu jago renang tapi diajakin ke yg 7 meteran. gw cuma nganterin dia aja, dan akhirnya dia yg nyebur. gw gak begitu punya nyali buat nyoba nyebur ke kolam 7 meter.
kita udahan, bilas langsung keluar dari kolam dan sekalian cari makan. inget banget sih, kalo waktu itu kita harus menerobos crowdednya sunmor. kita pengen makan soto lamongan yg ada disekitar lembah, tapi ternyata tutup. yaudah, gw ajak aja dia makan soto surabaya yg di deket mirota kampus. pas udah sampe sana, kita pesen dua soto sama dua es teh. ini salah satu yg gw inget, gaya dia makan sotonya lucu, kan dikasih jeruk nipis buat peresan kan ya, eh sama dia dihabisin semuanya. emang gak asem banget? gw tanya gitu dan jawaban dia kalo emang udah kebiasaan makan soto rasanya asem gitu. hmm oke.
habis makan, kita ngurus motor yg bocor tadi. kan udah agak siangan, jadi udah ada bengkel buka. dia nganterin gw buat ngambil motor yg gw drop di sekitar kos tadi. pas sampe di bengkelnya, ternyata bapaknya bilang kalo ban belakang gw yg bocor itu tubless, jadi kalo bengkel ban biasa gak bisa nambal. terus gw tanya harusnya dibawa kemana? ternyata ini ban harus ditambal pake cara tubless juga dan adanya cuma disekitar mekdi itu, utaranya raminten kota baru. yaudah deh, minta diisi angin aja biar bisa dibawa ke kota baru.
pas lagi di bengkelnya ini, si D ketemu kakak kelasnya yg alumnus satu sekolah dan sekarang kuliah di vokasi ugm. mereka kelihatan seneng banget, dan kayaknya emang deket banget, mereka ngobrol panjang lebar gitu dan gw cuma ngobrol sama bapak tukang tambalnya yg masih sibuk ngisi angin buat ban gw. pas udahan, ban gw udah diisi angin, gw bayar ke bapaknya langsung cabut ke tempat tambalnya yg ada dikota baru itu. jadi ini motor di tambal dulu, dan ditinggal. biar nanti bisa diambil pas udah selesai.
kalo gak salah, waktu itu kita makan siang dulu ke lotek bu bagyo yg di colombo. si D gw ajak kesana soalnya ini tempat lumayan terkenal dan enak loteknya. sampe sana kita pesen 2 lotek, 2 es teh. sempet juga bercanda gitu gara2 mbak2 yg nganterin makanan teriaknya gak santai gitu, semua orang juga bakal ketawa kalo denger teriakannya. pas gw tanya, gimana rasa loteknya? dia bilang sih enak. gw lumayan yakin bakal bikin ketagihan itu lotek.
oh iya waktu itu juga, sebenernya gw janjiin buat beliin saparella gitu, yg pernah gw ceritain kalo ini minuman rasanya kaya balsem. tapi sialnya lagi kehabisan, jadi harus dipending lagi. habis makan, kita balik ke tambal ban yg di deket mekdi, dan langsung pulang kekosan. agak sorenya dia harus balik lagi ke magelang. dan harus pisah lagi, buat sementara.

Demonstrations
The thought of making music has never occured to me. It just happens that I had FL Studio and a sort of working MIDI cable at the time, along with my trusty Yamaha P35. So I kinda’ did.
One thing led to another, and another thing to yet another one. So here is the abomination of my 1 month experience ‘making’ music. Enjoy.
THE CONCEPT
The name “Demonstrations” refers to how this piece attempts to show a live demonstration of sorts. Demonstration here meaning anything about what defines a demonstration.
An attempt to mix different genres, mostly jazz, bossa, and a little bit of rock (like so little it's like not even there). Mostly improvisational, and a defining melody won't appear much.

The jazz bit is talking about the syncopated beats, and all the improvisations done on the piano. Around 1/2 of the song is inspired by Shoji Meguro’s (ha weeb) When The Moon’s Reaching Out The Stars. The other 1/2 just happened. Around the middle is where the jazz shines the most, taking advantage of 180bpm into making the swing pattern, and there too is where the piano improvises the most.
The bossa bit is at the end. I put it in to as if telling the listeners to relax after a wild demonstration. It follows the standard bossa beats. Laziness overcame me as all I did for the ‘melody’ was scaling the piano randomly.
Rock bit. What rock bit?
Then comes the transitions. These are the hardest parts to do because it’s hard to connect ‘movements’ of a piece. Classical musicians knew how to do this by heart. Too bad I can’t even connect people’s hearts. (especially mine)
That’s techincally speaking. The story is different. But I’m too lazy to write about it.
THE PROCESS
It wasn’t tiring. But at times it could prove frustating, especially having to deal with some of the cheap samples FL Studio has.
I made it in real-time. As in, playing it through the beginning to the end at first, in the piano, adding the drum patterns and others later. Then I listened to the end result. Ew. It was horrible. I cringed at the thought of the first draft. It was that bad. Really liked the intro though, so I thought I needed to make this happen. I needed to make it good.
From there on I revised a part or two, listened again, hurt my ears again. I kept doing this ‘til it sounded like the track I have now. Around 4 revisions were needed to make it sound at least kinda’ decent. But I liked it, so why not?
Then comes the mastering process. This was something I am not experienced in, nor do I have any knowledge about. So I searched “How to master in FL Studio” and what caught my eye was a post by a kind, aspiring audio engineer. Therein lies the steps to mastering the average track made in FL Studio. I followed it to the very end.
Mastering is the finish of a track. It’s the polish that makes it shine. Not that I am happy about the mastering of my track, because it still sounds quite low in decibels compared to other people’s tracks.
