CLASSIC:

He would probably push his feelings aside, thinking that it's just some fling of his, until he started to care very deeply for you. Like, highly worried for your well-being. Which was an instant sign for him that this isn't just some fling.

He would play it off cool when the realization hits him though. You wouldn't find out until he would confess to you. He would be acting like he has zero feelings for you, but the moment you turn around...he blushes like crazy and tries to calm himself down. It's really silly from anyone else's perspective though.

He gets really excited whenever anyone mentions your name, it's gotten to the point where he looks like a fanboy of you.

He sometimes rants about you to Grillby. He can go on for hours, talking about you. Grillby's getting real tired of this, he once kicked him out for ranting for so long.

You're sometimes confused about his emotions towards you, he's giving such mixed signals... You asked him about this one time, but all he said, was; "Sorry, gotta get to Grillby's!" And disappears very quickly.

In conclusion, Sans is absolutely enthralled by you, but doesn't let it show.

SWAP:

He's very much aware of his feelings towards you since the start, but values your friendship too much to ruin it.

Since he's the future royal guard, he thinks he wouldn't have time for you if you got together. He's also fully convinced that his feelings are one-sided... :(

After he joined the star sanses, he was even more busy and didn't have as much time for you anymore. He missed you even more because of this outcome.

Don't get it twisted, he was happy to be helping so many people! But he felt so un-happy inside...sure, he was smiling at everyone, being a people-pleaser, but these smiles were very much fake.. he didn't see the purpose of smiling if you weren't the one he's smiling at..

He also felt so guilty that he couldn't tell you about his job as a star sans, feeling awful for lying to you...but one day...it accidentally slipped from his mouth... After your long persuadation, he finally caved in and explained everything to you in great detail, feeling relieved that he finally told you.

In short, Swap loves you, but thinks you don't feel the same way... Give him a hug! >:(

FELL:

When Fell realizes he's got a crush on you, the first thing he does is run away from you. Which was really funny to suddenly see his pupils widen and then him immediately running away.

He feels so weak for that. He believes he could've handled the situation better..oh well.

After that day, Fell was way more nervous around you than normally. He also sweated a ton more...which was kinda... disgusting.

Everyone thinks that Fell would immediately flirt with you, but... When Fell first met you, he would flirt with you just for the fun of it, but after he realizes his feelings towards you...he gets, strangely, shy..? It's actually really cute...from your side. Fell feels weak acting like this. He hates it.

You make him so shy just by your presence that the player sometimes takes advantage of that, to distract him. Just mentioning your name is enough to make his skull flash red.

He literally turned from bad boy persona to simp.

His brother thinks he should already confess to you so he can get rid of his feelings. In his opinion, it makes him weak. Even more weaker than before.

He loves you really, but he just can't admit it.

Park Seonghwa

Unfortunately I've already rambled about this before, so I'll copy and paste the rant here rather than ranting anew:

So, like seven years ago there was a fandom-wide event called the Loveball, where people gathered their OCs and had them all attend an UTMV dancing ball. Fresh went, of course. There, he met a Frisk called Pacifrisk. Even knowing who he really was [90's parasite], they still believed he could be good. Before this, he hadn't ever really felt a connection to anyone, or even positive emotions in general. But Pacifrisk's faith in him made him feel positively towards them. This freaked him out. [No Fr@ns though, don't worry. That wasn't the intention for this plot.]

As a result, not only did he try to kill them, but he also went through with his plans: the Fresh Takeover [I forget what it's actually called]. His true reason for attending the ball. OCs were either possessed by the parasites or tried to fight against them. Apparently, some people used alcohol to ward the virus off, as Fresh hates substances such as that.

Fresh wanted to take over the multiverse, with this Loveball being the first step for his total domination.

But then right in the middle of things, a Sans AU [which I totally forget the name of X,D] grabbed Fresh and basically yeeted him into an alternate state of being. One where he could see the creators, all staring at him. An audience.

The Sans revealed the nature of Fresh's existence: That he was simply a character in a story. And if the creators got bored of him, he could easily be written aside and forgotten. Erased. His conquest didn't matter, in the end.

Predictably, this gave him an existential crisis. I'm not sure what happened after, but he stopped invading and went somewhere to contemplate his existence in a depressed state.

Afterwards, he had a new goal: To entertain. To convince the creators that he was worth keeping around. Similar to his previous goal of survival, but now with more dire stakes."

OKAY THE SKELETON BROTHERS.

I really really love them, with all my heart so I kinda just wanted to Yap about them and kinda how I view their relationship using theories, clues from the game, etc!!

So we know that Sans is papyrus' big brother, as in the Japanese version of the game, Papyrus calls sans 'Onii-Chan' (big brother) and we also know that sans calls papyrus his little brother in deltarune

They also come from another world, (as we know with clues from Sans, such as in the dinner with him in MTT resort where he says that 'I know the feeling buddy' when he talks about frisk having to leave the underground. I like to interpret that they came from deltarune! (This is also backed by clues, and is a popular theory but right now I'm too lazy to provide said clues.)

Papyrus also doesn't really have any memory of their old world?? He recalls remembering 'grass', before I'm pretty sure sans cuts him off (This was in a newsletter, or at least some form of offical toby content)

There's nothing said about any other family, asides from Gaster (possibly?? Lots of people say 'oh but how do we know that' and like gaster speaks In a font, who else does that? Sans and papyrus!, I'm also pretty sure they're related cause pretty much any similar monster shown in game is related: The dreemurrs, the rabbits, snowdrake and chill drake, the only real exceptions are the dogs, and frisk and chara) and Grandpa semi, a scrapped character that was originally going to be the grandfather of sans and papyrus

Anyway, onto the brothers themselves!! It's implied that Sana raised papyrus (such as in the newsletter thing where papyrus asks sans if he would cut his apples for him if he were his mother) and also it's just a pretty popular headcanon.

ANYWAY, moving on from implied backstory stuff, those two care for each other SO DEEPLY. They may argue, yes, they may get frustrated with each other occasionally, also yes, but they care for each other a stupid amount!! Sans (through multiple points throughout the game) talks about how cool is brother is, he's not sarcastic or anything at all, he seems the most genuine to us whenever he is talking about his brother! He helps him achieve his dream, they are quite literally each other's worlds

Papyrus isn't an idiot, he's aware of the stuff his brothers done to help him, and he is also most likely aware of his brothers depression and is shown to care for him and help him out. He cooks for him (even if his cooking isn't the best) he helps him out.

Those two keep each other going! They're so different but also so similar, while they don't entirely know everything about each other, they still love each other and believe in each other yadda yadda

In the Japanese version of the game, Papyrus refers to himself using a certain honorific that I believe is supposed to convey that you think your great or something?? (I read about it awhile ago and can't find the original thing so bare with me) ALLLLL throughout the game EXCEPT when you go into sans' room, cause he expects his brother there, and not the human!!

Papyrus actually believes that he can be his true self around his brother..

ANYWAY I HATTTEE when papyrus is depicted as naive oblivious idiot because he is anything but, he's intelligent and even undyne calls him strong, he's just too nice. Being nice isn't a weakness!

He chooses to believe that people can do better despite knowing that he could be proved wrong, it's his decision to believe in people, it's their decision to prove him wrong. That doesn't make him dumb!!

Anyway why did this turn from a skelebros rant into a 'why papyrus isn't an idiot' one

* I like to believe they both need glasses. Papyrus has small, uneven, eyesockets with no eyelights?? There's the whole rock incident just after you first meet him! Sans just moreso needs reading glasses and it's just something that's come with age

* They were raised by their grandpa semi before he passed when papyrus was a kid, leaving sans have to raise him (Sans raising papyrus brainrot)

* Papyrus MAY be terrible at cooking but I like to say that he's really good at baking- part of the reason is cause he doesn't learn that with undyne because it's not really her thing, hence doesn't do it as often in general either

* Sans would listen to ABBA. Idk why I think this It's just silly (also probably paps)

But aside from Cross is there any other characters from Undertale or Undertale AUs that are also your favorite?

I think it's obvious but another one of my favorites is.. Killer <3 (He and Cross share first place in my head cause I can't decide between them. They're both amazing I can't even compare them) He's such a cool and interesting character!! He has a very memorable and concise design and recognizable details (like his tears and his soul), he's so tragic, complex and sooo loveable!! His personality is quite hard for me to depict in art/writing tbh, as he's too complicated for my simple mind lol. Especially his stages and everything that comes from them. Like- he can't feel in his second stage yet he's quite expressive and when he's stage one he's the closest to a Classic he can be (and we barely know anything about the ones after the third). The way his soul functions and how different stages are triggered is such a cool concept! He's not just some 'sans who killed everyone' as it seems on the surface! (It hurts my heart sm when someone sees him just as that) I really like his relationships (platonic/romantic, doesn't matter here) with other characters, how different his relationship might be with Nightmare in canon or fanon (how it might be a story of trauma cycle Killer suffers or mutual healing), his relationship with Color (their friendship and bond- I don't often talk about them but it's a very important part of Killer too, the closest relationship he has), Dream (Like in that one comic where he found Killer with cats-) and the bad guys (Dust, Horror and Cross have interesting relationships too, though I don't think I've seen anything 'canon' about him and Horror?? Correct me if I'm wrong). So much stuff you could do with him, I love Killer, but I wish I could understand his canon self more even if the way I depict is fanon-ish in art. I love him in any interpretation or AU, people always make him so likable and a very deep character, I wanna do the same and do this boy justice <3

Bumble that Bee or something idk

I recently finished RWBY (catching up after years leaving it aside) and I have thoughts and feelings and, as I am me, a lot of those are about the canonical WLW couple (sans the secondary wives in V6). So I put my thoughts into a rant. It's not as negative as the word 'rant' would have you believe but I don't wanna call it an essay or whatever. It's still pretty negative tho, so be warned. Anyways on with it:

RWBY is a mess.

Sometimes, it's a wonderful mess. Others, it's a terrible one.

I could spend a few paragraphs explaining what I mean, but I think anyone who watches RWBY with a critical eye knows what I'm getting at. Love RWBY, hate RWBY, just don't try to tell me it's good.

So, once that's established, let's get to the meat of this rant: Bumblebee.

Or should I say Fumblebee? Eh? EH?

Alright you can stop reading, have a good day.

Let me start by making a sharing something about myself: I'm Agender and Bi/Pan. I make a living out of writing yuri/gl/wlw or however you wanna call it. I watch entire seasonal fucking anime on the off chance it may be yuri and most of the time I hate myself for it by the end because they never fucking deliver.

All of this is to say, I like the concept of Bumblebee, the problem is it was treated like shit.

In this rant or whatever the fuck I should call it, I'm just going to talk about the things this ship makes me feel. As established I make a living out of writing romances like the one this show tried to depict—and in case you're wondering, I have written slowburns so slow the first romantic interactions between characters didn't happen until 300k words into a fic. I did it twice, fyi—so I believe I have fair grounds to judge this.

So let's tackle this from the beginning. Was it planned from the start?

No, I don't take the writers word for it. It's painfully apparent it's not the case. I'm fairly certain BlackSun was gonna be a thing until they decided to write him out of the story in V6. Or perhaps they decided on Bumblebee and so they wrote him out of the story. Either way, everything prior to V6 I call into question.

Sure, Blake and Yang have their moments. But it's important to point out they're not romantically coded. RWBY isn't subtle about romance, and it starts pulling the same sort of obvious romantic tropes as all the het stuff going on in the show for Bumblebee going into V7. Prior to that? Nothing. Not a single blush or any explicit show of romantic attraction.

And before any disingenuous bastard tries to say something like "oh but blushes aren't always romantic" or "no you don't need blushes to show romantic attraction" allow me to say you are fucking wrong. Blushing is the universal language for embarrassment or love related things. And RWBY uses this shit all the time. INCLUDING Bumblebee past V7.

So yeah, while the writers probably did draw from previous material—and I think the VA's shipped them since the start?—I do not believe this ship was planned from the beginning.

But that's ok! I don't think it's a huge issue, really. Sure I'd have liked to see actual development but I don't need it to work retroactively if it makes sense from the moment they decide to go for it. So, 3 volumes and a half of development. Lots of time to put in the work, add the details, and-

Oh, no. Wait. They spend most of V8 separated. Hmm. K' so, 2 volumes and a half-

Wait. Oh. Oh they… they really have that little screentime together in V6, huh. Wow. Just. Huh.

Ok, the Adam fight is good. It's a strong setup! After fighting and making up for what Blake did after the Fall of Beacon, they finally come together to beat the demon that drew them apart in the first place. They hold each other close after beating him and it's good and I'm gonna say this is when they both actually fall for each other. We can argue about budding feelings or whatever, but I mean this is the moment they become aware of it one way or another.

So Volume 7 has them kinda being together? Honestly, they act like a new couple. Which is weird in retrospect. I think revealing they'd started dating after V6 would have made more sense than, uh... pretending this was a slowburn? Through V7 they stick to each other and fight in perfect synch and blush and all of that romantic stuff. It feels like… well, like they're kind of already an item but the show has other shit to worry about atm.

Then v8 is amazing really. Split the characters over an honestly kind of nonsensical ideological split, keep them apart most of the season, make Yang to be kiiind of an asshole in that one conversation with Kyle (<- my name for the post-v7 Generic McGenericus haircut Jaune. Yes this unironical, the friend I ranted to about this while watching the show can confirm).

To add insult to injury, the split doesn't even accomplish anything for the ship. The only two characters that get development out of being apart are Ren and Nora. These characters were CLEARLY in love last season why are they not having appropriate amounts of angst over this? Like, at this point we're not arguing whether they were planning on making Bumblebee canon or not, the point is asking why it feels like they weren't trying.

And then, Volume 9. For some context, I like V9. I think I'm in a minority, at least in the places I frequent about this stuff. Always comes with the caveat of 'it's still RWBY', of course, but I appreciate it. After the initial whiplash, I think making a fairy-tale season for a show that was born out of the concept of "what if Red Riding Hood had a sick scythe and used it to mow down hundreds of bad wolves" is actually a really fucking good idea.

That being said, the way they do Bumblebee is really strange.

They're basically back to their V7 selves. It feels like they're either already dating or on the verge of dating. I need to stress just how comfortable they seem to be around each other with the sole exception of that one time Blake didn't grab Yang's hand, but it didn't feel particularly awkward.

Then BOOM mind storm thing and while Ruby, Weiss and Jaune talk about like, actual issues, Jaune implies Blake and Yang had 'something more important to deal with'. And that something is RWBY's version of the room you can't leave unless you have sex.

Sans the sex I guess.

In the void, I think the scene(s?) is good. It's nice, the music is evocative, it's well framed and paced. In another story, it would really have been a perfect climax for a budding relationship.

The problem is this is not another story. These two have NOT seemed like two people awkwardly in love too scared to tell it to each other. In fact, it kinda felt like the exact opposite. If they kissed at the end of any episode for any reason, at this point, it would've felt correct. A simple quiet stare while sitting close and them just finally leaning in to take that final step would've been just as good if not better.

The bridge thing? It's the climax to an arc that didn't happen. Relationships don't need to be slowburns for me to like them, but if you're gonna pretend you were making a slowburn, at least do it right. Why did they need the bridge thing to finally get together? Come on! There was plenty of opportunity during V9 prior to this episode to at least make a show of them being awkward. Make it clear they were finally on the verge but were holding back on the final step. Make it actually cause some conflict, preferably between them as their fear grows into uncertainty and doubts.

Then the bridge would've felt cathartic. Force them to resolve said conflict, and the only way to do it is through admitting their feelings. Sure, it would've still been few episodes, but fuck man I'm sure they could've scraped a few minutes here and there to make it somewhat competent.

I like Bumblebee as a concept. I think the avid fans of this ship look at the concept, not at what the show did, and say "this is canon" and run with it. I don't blame anyone who is a big fan of this ship but… I just can't like it in its current state. I'm sure there's fanfics that fix it, I may give some a read.

Hell, just compare Bumblebee's development to Renora. Those guys have been kind of obviously in love from second one and Nora's entire character being focused on Ren was made into an actual plot point by the end.

Anyways that's about it for bumblebee. Here's some extra thoughts on shipping in RWBY in general.

If we look at the earlier seasons, I honestly think you'd have a stronger argument to make for White Rose being a couple. If we look at the later seasons, Nuts n' Dolts has a stronger impact. I already mentioned it but Blake/Sun had obviously a thing going on that didn't pan out. I hope chameleon girl whose name I don't remember gets a gf at some point tho.

I pray to fucking god they're not building up fucking Oscar and Ruby cuz they had a few awkward scenes here and there and they make me feel wrong in all sorts of ways.

Given how little interaction Ruby and Weiss have had despite how much time they've supposedly spent together, I think the writers are making an active effort to discourage White Rose. I'm not gonna get into the author's self insert being a love interest for Weiss at one point but let's just say the writers seem invested in making extra-sure Weiss stays het. I've made my peace with that. And Penny is fucking dead again so Nuts n' Dolts is a no go (canonically I mean I may read a fanfic or two about them they're very cute).

If they're gonna give Ruby a relationship by the end (which I kinda hope they don't at this point), I think it should be Kyle. They've had nice moments together and seriously shipping Oscar with Ruby just feels fucking weird. Like I assume Ozma's gonna be fucking gone from Oscar's body by the end of this story but even then idk that guy had a centuries old man is his head, it's fucked up.

Because I constantly get hate for WDYW Chapter 49,

(I get it, it's polarizing) allow me to like,,, explain why I went with the plot point? I don't really owe anyone an explanation, and literally fuck any of my haters, they're ants, but I think my readers/people who actually like my writing would like to know the lore behind my choices.

So, context, in chapter 49, Frisk is drugged into obedience by Muffet and Muffet, being the money hungry cunt that she is, sells Frisk's body on the black market. It's a really uncomfortable concept, and when it happened it caused a lot of readers to drop the fic or rant at me in the comments, talk shit about my fic in private forums behind my back, or even imply a bunch of horrible things about me as a person lmao.

So why did I decide to go with this plot?

Well, for one, it all stems from two books: The Hunger Games, Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins and the Empress by S.J Kincaid.

In both of these books, there is a pivotal character who is drugged, manipulated and used for political gain by a dastardly authority figure. In The Empress, this plot point was ESPECIALLY devastating, because it completely changed and corrupted the character into a horrific shell of their old self to where they were actively antagonistic and irredeemable!

This plot device has intrigued and fascinated me ever since. Drugging a protagonist to make them wholly dependent on their abuser/villain, manipulating them, having them at rock bottom is, in my opinion, one of the worst things that can happen to a character... And seeing how the character can overcome it is the greatest triumph!

Ever since reading these books, this plot device has buzzed in the back of my mind and there is a part of me that always tries to recreate it, but I can never come close to perfecting it.

Either I always miss on the addiction part of the manipulation, or I can never commit truly to character corruption. Either way, the closest I've ever gotten to scratching this itch has been in WDYW part 3, but even then, I barely came close to getting it right.

My second reason for choosing the route; In WDYW, Frisk's whole arc is about having control over her own agency/autonomy/fate. What happens to her in Part 3 is the culmination of everything she's ran away from, fought against, and her greatest nightmare come to life. It was the lowest point I could bring her character, and make her face her past demons in a horrifically evil way. But my plan had obviously been that despite all of the torture she survives, that she not only survives but fucking WINS!

That was the whole point, but when I wrote it I was like,,, 17/18 😅, so there was definitely things I wasn't as graceful about.

With that said, would I change anything? Yes. If I could change anything I wrote about part 3, I would do a couple things:

1. Take out that obedience spell Muffet puts on Frisk. The reason I made that was because it was like a catch all spell to keep Frisk in Muffets clutches? But it was pretty OP and seemed like a hand wavey excuse to brush aside plot holes. I should've just simplified the spell to where she was simply tethered to Muffet's soul so Sans couldn't kill Muffet, or teleport Frisk away.

2. Frisk's "obedience" to Muffet should've been entirely addiction based, which would make the plot point of Frisk using determination to burn out her addiction in Part 4, and then eventually Determination becomes the addiction instead, (because overcoming addiction is really fucking hard actually and a constant struggle) a lot stronger.

3. I would probably be much more careful with my word choice in chapter 49. Some of it comes off as sexualization. Not my intention, but it was because I was writing in the creepy photographer's pov and he was objectifying her. In my head I was like, "surely people can read between the lines right???" (They can't. Only a select few fanfic readers have media literacy apparently)

So, TLDR, No chapter 49 was not some author's barely disguised fetish (that's honestly a really gross way to think about my writing and about me as a person) it was my genuine worst nightmare as a woman, and one of my favorite plot devices from two of my favorite books 😭 Please lay off me about chapter 49, and Part 3.

Nicky had been in many sticky situations. The Redbrands and Watermice, fights as Nick with certain classmates, prison. At this point he was basically an expert in getting himself in and out of trouble. And yet, he was faced with his toughest challenge yet, underneath the stage of San Dimas High - being alone with Terry Jr.

It's not that he didn't like being alone with TJ; he was his best friend, after all, in both timelines. They'd been alone together plenty of times before. It's just that, well, they hadn't been alone since Nicky had realised a certain... something.

That something being his giant raging crush on his best friend. Because he just had to be cliche.

He'd sort of known he'd had feelings for Terry for a while. Nicholas had lowkey hero-worshiped him, and that hadn't exactly gone away with the additional set of memories. In fact the exact opposite had happened - seeing the more vulnerable, grieving side of Terry that had been Nick's impulse control had only made his heart beat faster around him.

God, he was a nerdy sap.

But lately, it felt like all his semi-repressed feelings had come crashing around him, hard. The vague urge to hold his hand had morphed into the desire to make out with him against a wall (while still holding his hand), and to hang out romantically and honestly he just really really wanted to be TJ's boyfriend. It was hardly his fault.

So that led him here - pressed together in the space for couples to make out without getting caught, alone with Terry Jr. Who was wearing lipstick. And eyeliner. And looked extremely kissable.

It really wasn't his fault.

Grant and the twins honestly should've known better. But no, Grant just had to go to therapy early because of scheduling conflicts, and the twins just had to pack for a trip to go see their Uncle Ricky for the weekend, so instead of the usual five of them hanging out after school, it was just Nicky and Terry.

And Terry had been showing him something in his spellbook, and ranting in that delightfully nerdy way, and they'd had to be practically in each other's laps to see the book in the dimly lit room, and he'd just had to look so pretty and-

It really, really wasn't his fault.

It had just been a quick, impulsive kiss, before he realised what he'd done. And it was hardly his fault that Terry had stared at him for a second, before smilling softly, and cut of his stammered apologies with a soft "Do it again." And kissed him again, and again, and again, the soft, possesive hand tangled in his hair, the book carefully placed aside (because TJ was far too careful to ever drop his spellbook on the floor), the dusky smell of the stage, and the faint taste of vanilla lip balm.

the new otaku fm series: my expectations and jubilations

otaku fm is what genuinely got me interested in the series.. finding it made me genuinely motivated to play and learn more about the behind the scenes work of voice acting. putting a light on the talent behind a series is a great way to get people on the bandwagon. kudos, solmare.

i'm going to very much assume that it's going to be formatted similarly to the two previous season, 45 mins long and posted monthly, with Kada and another voice actor in each episode in the order that the asmr comes out. so I'm going to also assume that the first episode will be with Yamashita Kazuya (the VA of Lucifer) .

i shall wait patiently for the sumi-san episode because I would love to see kada completely bounce off the walls trying to get everything under control..

im hoping they bring back the twitter/facebook messages through the hashtags because i have a feeling there are so many fans that'd love to send them messages (me <3), as well as bringing back a toast in hells kitchen. again it was so nice just seeing the vas chat about their lives and it makes them feel like they're more than just voice actors for a silly little game, but real fucking people who put their passion and effort into voice acting, even if i think the fandom casts them aside a lot.

🎯Something Blue: Where it began + HCs🫐

I made this originally on twitter but due to post limitations I wanted to rant here! :D In this, I will be describing where I found Something New, why I ship Killer with Blue but not 100% as big a fan as other ships, and so on and so forth. At the very end I will list my headcanons with them :)

In 2018 on July 25th (my birthday) is the first evidence I have of ever liking this ship. The reason I know of this date is due the the image below made by @/jamesjp-things-blog and how I had a cropped version on roblox (I roleplayed shush) and it was a RP of them LOL

I believe sometime after, I found the swap vs killer animation and believed that was all and shipped them and RPed them with my ex n roblox because yeah cringe! Here is the old Killerberry ship kid I made for archive purposes (shes so ugly) + the where it started wall

Moving on! I don't exactly remember where my ideas for the ship went as in 2018 is when I left the fandom space of undertale and bullied myself out of it since Underswap was my favorite and I love all versions of swap and that was around the time the fandom hated those people

In april of 2024 (hey this year!) I decided that hating something I love with every fiber in my being was dumb so gradually came back. I started off embracing my old love for Nightberry (fan since 2016) and Horrorberry (I do not remember), two other ships i loved in the old days

Thats when I became good friends with Mae (hi) and they started talking about their AU and story and my little worm self talked about Horrorberry, Dustberry, and Nightberry but just ignored Killerberry as I forgot my love for it. IDRM what exactly was said but yeah

Then Mae showed me something. The start of the Killer VS Swap comic. I only knew the animation and NONE of this was in it. (Credit to rahaf) Seeing this changed my whole view on them, but it continues.

The part the hit me the most was when Blue was upset he couldn't save Killer despite the fact he nearly killed the guy which opened me to the world of toxic yaoi /silly. Jokes aside, it showed me how well and under looked these characters are together.

But why them? Well answer is: Every instance of them together while negative is only negative on Killer's behalf. Color had negative moments with Killer even if it got positive could end up being a nightingale syndrome scenario and how I see Blue and Killer strays far from this, NM is NM and Dream while he did feel positivity from Killer, Dreams motives just makes the ship feel icky to me but no hate! Outer is just a crack ship and I can't see it at all LOL (Dust and Horror I only ship for toxic yaoi I'll just out that here)

Blue on the other hand's motive is to help him, to change him to for the better even if he nearly died trying. He isn't degrading Killer, he isn't doing it for a questionably moral motive, he KNOWS if Killer tries he can be good. I believe if he learned what will be talked about below, he'd stop trying to """fix""" him but more so help him understand himself and his stages to be able to have a healthy relationship with himself.

Do I think Killer can be good? Not really, he doesn't concider himself a sans anymore so if he were to become fully himself again, I don't think that would do him good mentally. His soul is at a ever constant war with chara as shown here.

I think Killer is appreciates Blue trying to help and more upset by means and the fact it didn't work. In the comics, Blue tried the hardest but also the most back to back to help Killer which just annoyed him most likely but despite him causing the pain to himself, he hates it. I feel like this is further proven on how Blue is one of the people he mentions when talking to Nightmare and how you can still see Blue smile.

Also, it could be argued that Killer only really escalated things because Blue took him to see the stars, one thing Killer doesn't like nor feel comfortable around them. The one they're looking at doesn't help either.

Heres some more little things Rahaf has done with the two that fuel my love for them and their relationship!

☆ Killer found a new appreciation for the stars because of Blue loving space

𖣠 Killer was forced to apologize for escalating fights (NM had made Killer stop similar in Killer VS the Star Sans' and didn't have him kill Dream)

☆ Killer got blue a new scarf

𖣠 Killer thinks Blue is the strongest Star Sans due to surviving him, having to get rid of Blue's magic to even win

☆ Paps and Chara don't like Killer so they keep it hidden, also to protect Blue from NM

𖣠 Killer keeps Blue's old one because hes weird and its like a trophy

☆ Killer thought being mean would get blue to leave and stop so kept being a jerk

𖣠 Killer didn't trust Blue around his cats bc trauma but when he caught wind Killer had cats absolutely spoiled them with treats and toys

☆ They have a lot of "Why do you care" talks

𖣠 Killer has said "You're my favorite star out of all the ones you've shown me"

☆ Blue 100% got giddy from that

𖣠 Killer is very touchy physically to make sure Blue is real + just a flirt

𖣠 He doesn't mind since it keeps him knowing Blue is real and distracts him from Chara ghosty

𖣠 If he doesn't, Blue would talk to Reaper asking when Killer would be back and alive who'd say "It doesnt work that way, kid" if Killer chose to actually rest (I forgot what comic I saw that gave this idea)

☆ This started from my Dustberry headcanons that sort of just trickled but I feel like he shows care about things Dust and Killer see, AKA Paps and Chara and often ask if they would like anything specific for dinner and try to converse with them even if he cant see or hear them

𖣠 Killer would probably think its super weird but probably get jealous if he lets Dust get that treatment (I needed to add my badsans poly + swap (and saejun + epic but thats a rant for another day) some where)

☆ I don't think they'd be the perfect relationship don't get me wrong, I feel like Killer would constantly try to break it off in some way for some normalcy but I feel like Blue is grounded enough to know this and understand this and knows if he just ups and walks he'd only be hurting Killer more

𖣠 Now this doesn't mean he is a doormat, he'll scold Killer but thats for after

☆ For angst purposes, I like the thought that Killer got hurt because of Blue trying to get Nightmare to ease the work load and what not and since he's NM's right hand man that didn't really fly by

𖣠 Despite Blue's positivity and how he views himself, because I HC him with HPD or histrionic personality disorder, he has a low view on himself away from others and I feel like Killer would try to help him during all those times as a way to pay Blue back for all the effort he has given to help Killer

☆ Since I HC Blue doesn't remember resets and the younger brother, I like to think that Killer introduced him fully to this talk, Stretch probably tried before but just thought it was nightmares

𖣠 I feel like Blue would try and make Killer sweets only to find out he doesn't really like em due to everything LOL

☆ I also HC Killer to cough DT a lot so Blue keeps a spare little handkerchief on him to wipe Killer's mouth

𖣠 I like to think Blue really looks up to Dream and Ink but they semi push him away as he's a mortal so Killer has those "Who needs em" talks and probably realizes he's semi codependent on them as he is to Nightmare but not in the same life depends on it way

☆ Also when theyre hiding their relationship I like to think that they'd run off during battles like the freaks they are

☆ Because Killer doesn't talk too much in the canon events of Something New, I feel as if the more Killer talks to Blue is another indicator to Blue about change and that makes me smile (Ignore how Killer talked a bit in their fight it just proves Killer fought him out of love /silly)

𖣠 I feel as if my Blue had a Blueberror moment, Killer and him would bond a lot due to similar feelings of not being good enough + both kinda chill in an antivoid space and yeah I probably have a ton more I can pull out of my ass but I am tired sooooooooo

A Second Long Rant About The Koffin Trio

Note: I decided to write about these three again (mostly about the genocide route) because I didn't cover everything I wanted to in my previous take, and you guys seemed to like it (I'm glad you enjoyed it as well, @beethovenus!), so here we go. If you haven't already, please read my previous ts!us post, since this is an addition to that.

Let's just say that the writers really outdid themselves when it comes to the genocide route, especially in regards to Harry and Larry. Never before did a video game leave me feeling so emotionally broken. The battle between the Boogiemen and Chara proves that comedic relief characters CAN and SHOULD be put in serious situations. It gives them much-needed depth.

At the beginning, Harry and Larry didn't take Chara seriously and only managed to make it out of the encounter alive because Crossbones/Sans intervened (which just goes to show how reckless both of them are) they're like annoying but loveable little kids i swear

It's this trait of theirs that led them to their downfall later on. I guess you could say that their appearance was meant to 'lighten the mood' of the otherwise dark genocide route, but it only made things worse for them in the long run. I remember reading a comment on YouTube once, and it mentioned how the Boogiemen resemble horror movie characters who die first due to their carelessness. And aside from the fact that they were not the first monsters to get killed by Chara, I agree 100%

Neither one of them believed that a human was even in the Underground, let alone a serious threat... that is, until they tried picking on Chara ↓

...which obviously didn't end well ↓

When they realized that they really WERE in danger, both visibly began to panic; neither one of them even tried to pretend to be fearless ↓

I've got to say that I love the contradictory traits the Boogiemen share: fearless but fearful, fun-loving but seeking safety, reckless but cautious.

Imo, as much as they like to goof off, they want someplace to come back to even more. Koffin-K is the one who makes the keep a place where they feel like they belong; a place that gives them comfort. KK's presence is what reassures them that they're taken care of. He's the one who makes Koffin Keep home.

In the present moment, Harry and Larry can afford to act goofy and careless because they're convinced that, no matter what happens, Koffin will always be there to save them, provide for them, and keep them safe in general.

There's a difference between who Harry & Larry were before and after they got hired (they seemed to have become more mischevious, more open to goofing off, and even more ambitious and confident).

I find it interesting that both of them were anxious/sceptical about working for Koffin when he first met them:

The two weren't attached to Koffin-K at all at the time. They didn't become loyal right off the bat; It took them (a short) time to warm up to him. And now that they are attached, I'm pretty confident that they're never leaving his side

The thing about Harry is that he used to rely on this one low-wage job and probably thought: "If I take the risk and come to regret becoming this weird guy's lackey, or if he fires me, I might never be able to come back to my safe job again and I'll be left with nothing. I'm not even qualified for anything other than menial chores!" yeah I headcanon that both him and Larry dropped out of high school at like 16 and never went to college in the first place I'm also really curious if Harry used to be attached to his previous boss (who he never mentioned) like he is to Koffin-K now, but I doubt it since he DID accept Koffin's job offer the very next day.

And Larry didn't want to risk anything either, even though he pretty much had nothing to lose. Even if he used to have a job as a janitor (if this is the case, I imagine his thought process was the exact same as Harry's), he still lacked a home. It's depressing to think about how Larry apparently wanted to continue his poor-quality life because he didn't believe anything different or better was out there. Or, he had no idea what having a better life even felt like. Maybe he thought he'd be WORSE OFF as Koffin-K's employee and/or that he'd fire him at some point. I just made myself sad, I love these guys a lot and empathize so much I feel like both of them believe they're not good enough and it hurts

Anyway, back to the genocide route.

After they're rescued, Flowey says:

Already setting up the fact that they'll either be an easy and/or optional battle. Nice.

Then we see Harry and Larry straight up putting themselves in danger to please Koffin-K:

Like, guys, I'm sure he would have understood if you hadn't obeyed his order this time. but they CAN'T let him down; they refuse After all, a mass murderer was on the loose

And once again, we're given a choice whether or not to fight them:

And finally, if we follow them... we get to this scene.

Oh god. THIS scene. Where do I even start?

Alright, time for some retrospect.

So, the two dummies have no way to escape and are forced to fight (with their very last conversation being AN UNRESOLVED ARGUMENT), Larry is ruthlessly pushed off the cliff (is this why it's called the ruthless route? Because if so, it fits perfectly), Harry screams his name and falls to his knees, completely dejected, and doesn't even attempt to run or fight, waiting to join Larry in death.

No matter how much they annoy each other, the care is clear as day. That's another reason why I think of them as brothers. Harry is pretty fearful, right? And yet he'd rather turn to dust than live a life without Larry.

Sometimes I wonder how the scene would have played out if Harry had been given given the choice to either flee, stay and fight, or let us finish him off.

Ok, the third option would remain unchangeable, and the second would definitely result in his death whether or not he put up a fight, but the first one...

**ANGST WARNING**

Koffin-K would find Harry in his and Larry's house, curled up on their (now only his) bunk bed, sobbing uncontrollably and blaming himself over and over again. Then he'd hold him and they'd cry together. Koffin would regret not being more transparent with his care for his henchmen, and now that he was only left with one, he'd swear to be the best boss and father he could be.

It would take a while, but eventually Harry would stop crying himself to sleep every night, he'd go back to his mischievous self, he'd pull pranks and laugh and have fun because that's what Larry would have wanted.

Koffin and Harry's relationship would strengthen over time (sooner rather than later) and they'd become a true family. But every day, for the rest of his life, Koffin-K would wish that he had told Larry how much he loved him before he died. Harry would wish that, too.

But there was no way to turn back the clock, and the only thing they could do was hope that, wherever Larry was, he'd somehow know.

...he did.

I don't even want to image what would have happend if the roles had been reversed. Let's just say that Larry would have been absolutely shattered if Harry had gotten pushed off a cliff/died first. Based on his reaction if you beat Harry up during their fight in the neutral route, I don't even think he'd ever be able to move on from the pain of losing his brother best friend (or it would be SUPER hard).

Speaking of these scenes, Harry's first reaction was to get furious, Larry's was to burst into tears. What they have in common though was that they showed care for each other sigh... image limit strikes again

Larry also picked up on the purity of Chara's soul (or lack thereof) and it triggered Chara

It reminds me of how Ceroba picked up on the number of monsters Clover had killed

Long story short, I love how both Harry and Larry have their own quirks and personality. They're not just interesting as a duo, but separately, too. It's sometimes hard to remind yourself how, just because two people are a team, that doesn't mean they don't/can't exist as individuals.

I'm really curious to see Koffin-K's reaction to these two's deaths. REALLY REALLY curious.

I think that he'd completely break down (before that he'd be in denial) upon realizing that his idiots are actually gone forever and were killed by someone Koffin thought would make a good servant. Still, for some reason, I doubt he would become so enraged that he could avenge them by killing Chara.

Regardless of his reaction, he'd definitely miss them a lot.

When everyone was gone, Harry and Larry were the first on his mind i feel like they're his biggest headache but also the two monsters he loves most, in his own unique way

Random thoughts as a bonus bc why not:

I swear, it seemed like they wanted to say "You're talking to THE COUNT'S lackeys!" and "You ain't the dad of us to tell us what to do!" Also, Harry looks scared/nervous/unsure/ af. These guys really are both cowardly and impulsive

Istg, they act like (man)children with Koffin being their strict but goofy dad mom who makes them do chores when they'd rather laze around (I know it's part of their job and everything but the way they talk about their duties gives me this vibe)

...yeah, just KK acting like an annoyed dad, nothing new to see here

Remember how, in the last post I wrote, I said that Harry and Larry are materialistic (for a good reason)? Yeah, they're so materialistic that they'd even "betray" their boss for some cash (unrelated, but I love this game's humor)

These two have a dog's loyalty, but even their house looks like a doghouse (or maybe it's just tiny compared to the keep). Speaking of the keep...

Interesting that, whoever wrote on this wiki, didn't include the other workers almost like it's just the three of them that are a family while the others are just there for the easy money

So you know in the Yangchen books how her past lives would frequently possess her body at the absolute WORST TIMES for example, the past life that had really really really bad claustrophobia possessing her when she was in a tight claustrophobic space and making her freak out? Yeah that. You know how none of the avatars after Yangchen never seemed to deal with this? Well I headcanon that the reason why was because Yangchen actively BLOCKED the previous incarnations for pulling that same awful shit with every avatar after her.

So what do you think is gonna happen when Yangchen has been removed from the avatar cycle (and teenified) and is no longer to keep the others from fighting over Aang like a chew toy?

Lets see how badly this can fuck with the poor twelve year old boy

(aka a bunch of random headcanons I came up with for the avatars we only have names and even a few of the nameless ones)

Szeto first of all had BAD sleep paralysis. Like almost every night, hallucination fo something just standing over him (or in some cases full on trying to strangle him) and he cant move or even speak levels of bad. Also had severe hemophobia (fear of blood) and would literally faint at the sight of blood (hehehehe)

Next is Salai who had severe thalassophobia (fear of the ocean/ fear of deep bodies of water) like he would get full on panic attacks every single time he had to cross the ocean. Even worse since I headcanon that he drowned in a a severe storm while sailing on the ocean. And considering the fact that the gaang presumably spends a few weeks on a BOAT on the OCEAN to get from the Northern Water Tribe to General Fong's base...yeah thats gonna be a really bad time for Aang.

Avatar Gun, aka the one that possessed Yangchen to go on a rant about how humanity is selfish and uncaring, how they expect you to pull of a hundred miracles and then get mad you didnt do a hundred and one, yeah...they're gonna be a fun one (also they are nonbinary now because they were never said to be male or female and the wiki used they them pronouns for them so bite me) aside from...that they also absolutely HATED crowds, like avoided them at all costs unless absolutely necessary, otherwise would be sweating and shaking the entire time until they could leave. (Which means Omashu, Ba Sing Se, literally any crowded town or city is gonna be absolute HELL for our favorite little airbender)

Ok now for the ones without names (I have two of those so far)

So you know how General Fong pulled Katara under the ground to trigger the avatar state in Aang? Well the same thing happened to her partner. Only difference is that her partner wasn't pulled back out. Oh no. Her partner was pulled underground and CRUSHED to death. (When Kaaza bent them back out, there was nothing but blood, broken pulverized bones and completely crushed organs...) Yeah its gonna be a lot bloodier than in canon (None of General Fong's soldiers will die Im not gonna traumatize Aang THAT badly, but they will be maimed very badly.)

She's the avatar that was absolutely terrified of the Spirit World, to the point that it caused Yangchen's sister Jetsun to get kidnapped by spirits when they went there (because you know the spirits get hostile when you're afraid and guess who decided to pop in at the worst moment?) Luckily this one isnt going to cause too much trouble since I dont think Aang actually goes to the spirit in books two and three unless you count Wan Shi Tong's Library (though Aang is not gonna have a good time when Avatar Imiq starts freaking out because of Wan Shi Tong) but I havent rewatched the show in awhile so I could be wrong

Also you know the avatar that had claustrophobia? That was Wan. With the exception of his tree house Wan absolutely hated small tight spaces. And that is something he was going to make everyone's problem (just like how every avatar inherited Wan's iconic crooked avatar smile, every avatar also inherited some claustrophobia, some worse than others. Unfortunately thats now gonna be Aang's problem)

I just keep coming up with these and thinking "What would suck/be the most inconvenient for Aang to have in this moment" and then assigning that to one of the past lives

First off, I belive when he meets you, he will be very hesitant to talk or interact to.

Since his time with frisk was not...pleasant.

Once you got to know him, he will be the fun friend who always brightens you're day.

I can see him getting to the point in your friendship that he doesn't even knock on your door. He just telaport inside of your house and sits on the couch.

You have gone used to finding him inside of you're house by then, so you will just say hey, and continue on you're day.

He escapes to you're house to get out of work or stressful situations.

Or his brother.

He is also a friend who likes pranking you.

Enjoy alot of random pranks scattered in you're house when he's gone.

He dose glitter bombs (not big ones), water bucket on door, Whoopi cushions underneath the couch seats, waking up with marker on you're face, random object around (like a bike in the kitchen) and more

This is very good for sans since I can imagine him having very deep depression.

When he starts to realize that he likes you, I belive he will start to panic.

Since this is something new and he has never had a crush this hard before.

Yes there was Toriel, but they didn't work out.

He will most likely push his feelings aside and act normal.

He will still come over to you're place and chill.

Maybe doing less dirty pranks.

LIKE FUCKING GLITTER IN THE CABINETS

When he talks to you, tho, he panics in the inside.

when these feelings start to get worse, he might just accept them.

He ain't telling you tho, fuck that.

So he might just seem more distant and less talkive.

You get worry of corse so you ask him if he's OK.

He probably tell you he's fine and telaports away before you can ask more questions.

Expect him to slightly stalk you.

Not in a yender way or anything, more of making sure you are OK.

He really only does this to papyrus, but since he has gotten feelings for you, he wants you to be safe.

Expect him to get really annoyed or jealous when you talk to somome else who's clearly flirting with you.

Eventually you will have to confront him about what's going on and after an hour of asking questions he will break and tell you.

While he's ranting you can expect him to start to cry and explain why he's scared of this, what happend in those resets, how he dosent want to lose you, etc.

You will need to ground him and calm him down.

Once you do, you tell him you have feelings for him to.

You're willing to wait tho and let him ease his way into this loving stage.

He is great full and agrees to this.

Dating Faze

When your relationship starts to go off, I can imagine him not immediately going into kissy or hugging or anything.

It will still be like you guys where friends.

Eventually tho, you can expect him you give you hugs or kisses out of the blue.

He LOVES how you treat him.

He will return the gesture over time.

Once you guys are comfortable, more colors start to show.
