honestly cant stop thinking about these characters— can i just say i’ll never get over how CUTE sanka is i gotta fluster her in some way they’re adorable

Yeah, you get doodles for this LOL!! Had the biggest urge to doodle after reading this ask! this is so sweet, thank you so much („ಡωಡ„) I very much adore Sanka, they are so cute and fun to write, absolutely one of my favorites in Cafe Sweet <3

Here are some fun facts as well because I honestly just need to gush about our sunshine(*/▽＼*)

Within the first week of meeting Sanka and Hyun-ae, Sanka got you two matching heart lockets. Sanka's wears his on his neck, Hyun-ae turned hers into an earring, and canonically you made yours a bracelet(You can decide wear on your oc it is though :3)

Because Hyun-ae hates frills and receiving the frilly apron, Sanka switched Aprons with Hyun-ae to make her more comfortable.

Sanka has a photo gallery on their phone with pictures of you and Hyun-ae named "My two favorite people in the entire universe!"

Sanka's hugs are so warm and comforting, her hugs are very firm but also gentle, they make you feel safe.

Sanka likes to give nicknames to everyone(ex: in game she calls Artemis, Arty! The nickname embarrasses Artemis, but he actually likes it.)

what is your favorite demon slayer arc?

ouuhhgg this is. a Really hard question actually. because iam so full of love for pretty much all of them WAHAHAH

if im being honest (sticking mostly to the anime to be fair,) its pretty evenly split btwn season 1 and 2 for completely different reasons, even though thats kind of a cop out answer bc. Three Seasons. but i do what i want.

season 1 was just so deeply, Deeply charming in every way-- things were new and novel and Scary!!! it really does a good job of introducing a "new world," ESPECIALLY with the starting arcs of the season. it felt really personal for all the characters, and because it's mostly focused on the kamaboko squad, you can really feel the way their bond and their own arcs start to grow!

watching the kamados adapt to the new way their world looked was ridiculously fun, and i would kill t get to really go into their bond like that again. how much they care abt each other just bleeds into their every word and action, and watching the way they adjust themselves around to support each other is just. shakes fist. cries... iam also ridiculously fond of The Boys(tm) fooling around with each other too. seeing how they get used to each other and grow comfortable is so so ridiculously sweet.

also bonus points for having susamaru in it.

and season 2, honestly? i just feel like its just. The Best One. stunning visuals, excellent setup, fantastic payoff-- like. i can barely find any specific thing to point at because all of it just feels like one really solid experience! uzui and the wife brigade were ridiculously fun to watch in action, and seeing the kamaboko squad fall into a stable rhythm working with each other is So delightful.

daki and gyutaro are insanely fun to watch villains-- especially daki, she is such a cool character and everything about her is Literally Iconic, i fucking adore her. and then the setup for the parallel of the kamados and the shabanas-- and how it plays off of the buildup of the series' themes as a whole! its just a completely fantastic time!!!!

after all that happens in mugen train, what that means for the cast-- seeing them fight that hard and win is so so satisfying-- the stakes feel Real! the horrors feel Real! the victory is Real!!!!

also its the one that has zankyou sanka in it and honestly i think it wins on that account alone.

Lucille Ball Break! (Classic Ads)

Found on that magical time travelin’ machine, YouTube. They feature that marvelous redhead and my favorite comedienne ever, Lucille Ball. I love finding these types of retro commercials!. Lucy and Desi Arnaz lent their star power to ads at the height of their legendary sitcom I Love Lucy, ranging from cars to coffee to home permanents.

I love these two!

1955 Part Two - JULY to DECEMBER

“I Love Lucy” enters its fifth season - in Hollywood!  Classic episodes with memorable guest stars. 

“What’s My Line?” (S7;E5) ~ October 2, 1955

Lucy and Desi are the mystery guests. The panel has trouble identifying that it is a couple, not just one guest. Arlene Francis guesses correctly. Broadcast from New York City.  The couple promote the next night’s fifth season premiere of “I Love Lucy.” 

"Lucy Visits Grauman's" (ILL S5;E1) ~ October 3, 1955

Hollywood’s iconic cinema was recreated on a Desilu soundstage, complete with the footprints in the forecourt.  A stand-alone episode that is also linked to the following one starring John Wayne. James V. Kern takes over as director.  Filmed September 9, 1955.  Colorized for broadcast on May 20, 2016. 

"Lucy and John Wayne" (ILL S5;E2) ~ October 10, 1955

John Wayne agreed to co-star in return for on-screen promotion of his new film Blood Alley. He also played himself on “The Lucy Show.” Director Kern has trouble coaxing Little Ricky (Michael Mayer) to play in the wet cement. Filmed September 15, 1955.  Colorized for broadcast on May 20, 2016.  

"Lucy and the Dummy" (ILL S5;E3) ~ October 17, 1955

This episode was running short, so a sneak preview of MGM’s new musical film Guys and Dolls was inserted, although it was only seen once, in its initial airing.  Lucy sings “I Get Ideas,” dancing with ‘Raggedy Ricky.’  Filmed September 22, 1955. 

"Ricky Sells the Car" (ILL S5;E4) ~ October 24, 1955

When Desi Arnaz first read the script, he didn’t like it. He thought the two new writers, Bob Schiller and Bob Weiskopf, had written it. But he changed his opinion when he learned that the old writers, Madelyn Pugh and Bob Carroll, Jr., were responsible for the episode. Filmed September 29, 1955. 

"The Great Train Robbery" (ILL S5;E5) ~ October 31, 1955

Actual footage of the Union Pacific Domeliner was inserted into the studio shots. Bill Frawley and Vivian Vance actually went on location on the train, but their footage was cut. First time a black actor (Hattie McDaneil’s brother Sam) is featured on the show.  Best remembered for the return of Frank Nelson as the train conductor.  Filmed October 6, 1955.  

"The Homecoming" (ILL S5;E6) ~ November 7, 1955

Sanka coffee is a new sponsor, given title placement. Elvia Allman returns as gossip columnist Nancy Graham, a character loosely modeled on Sheilah Graham, an English-born Hollywood journalist.  In the crowd is Little Ricky’s (the Mayer Twins) real mother, Eva Jean Mayer.  Filmed October 20, 1955.  

"Face to Face" aka “The Ricardos Are Interviewed” (ILL S5;E7) ~ November 14, 1955

“Face to Face” starring Ed Warren (Elliott Reid) is a parody of “Person to Person” with Edward R. Murrow. The episode also features the rousing song “Rancho Grande.”  Filmed October 20, 1955. 

"Lucy Goes to a Rodeo" (ILL S5;E8) ~ November 28, 1955

This is a very musical show, with Fred and Ethel singing “Birmingham Jail,”  Doye O'Dell singing “The Old Chisholm Trail,” Ricky singings “Texas Pete” (a variation on “Cuban Pete”), and the gang doing a western bell-ringer’s interpretation of “Down By the Old Mill Stream.”  Filmed October 27, 1955. 

"Nursery School" (ILL S5;E9) ~ December 5, 1955

The teddy bear Lucy smuggles into the hospital for her son was later manufactured for retail sale. Filmed November 3, 1955. 

"Ricky's European Booking" (ILL S5;E10) ~ December 12, 1955

Desi and The Pied Pipers take sing "Forever, Darling," the theme song of the upcoming Ball-Arnaz picture of the same name, released three months after this episode.  This episode kicks off the Europe Trip episodes.  November 10, 1955. 

"The Passports" (ILL S5;E11) ~ December 19, 1955

Although she had claustrophobia, Lucille Ball actually was inside the closed trunk.  This episode is full of references to Ball’s real-life upbringing in Jamestown, New York.  Filmed November 17, 1955.
