The valentione outfit is adorable, but the irony hasn’t been lost on me that the event story was all about looking the way you want to look, then proceeding to reward a gender locked outfit.
It’s just so funny, this seasonal event could be comedy of the year. But I think they’re going to fix it eventually, probably didn’t have the time.

Diving to a bit of heavy stuff here so here are my questions:
1. If shade Ben and prime Ben are separate entities what would he feel around prime Ben's parents? How would they feel if they heard about shade Ben's parents?
2. Aside from his own family, Rex and Randy, have Ben talked to the other members about his disconnection with his own parents?
Oh boy, we're getting into the deeper stuff are we?
I'll answer those questions. It'll probably turn into a word vomit, so beware;
First answer;
Bennett (we'll call him that if we want to differentiate him with prime Ben) and Prime Ben are people from separate timelines, with Bennett never having a good childhood to begin with, leading him into being more quiet compared to Prime Ben back then. Bennett's sense of fashion is what really stuck on Prime Ben upon first impression.
Now, if by chance Prime Ben brought Bennett to his home (for some reasons), imagine the shock Bennett felt upon being treated nicely by Prime Carl and Prime Sandra, although he hides it so it won't appear to be rude.
Let's say that Prime Ben finding out about Bennett's previous home situation from Paradox instead of Bennett himself, and in turn relaying that information to his parents upon bring the alternate version of himself to his home.
Bennett had ever experience parental love from Frank and Natalie, maybe even Randy's parents upon arriving at France, and the Saturdays kinda low-key adopted him in some way. Six and Holiday was a great obvious despite not seeing each other all that much. Being treated nicely by someone who resembles his own parents felt foreign and a bit overwhelming; he was used to being treated like air in the house, not being treated like their real child.
As for Carl and Sandra's feelings about Bennett and his parents, well, they would be upset about what had Bennett gone through in his childhood that lead to him moving a whole different country. They treated Bennett well, thinking that Bennett deserves what it feels like to feel parental love from real parents (although technically they aren't, but they're the closest Bennett could have for actual parents). Sandra was really interested in Bennett with his skills in fashion designing and taste in fashion, Carl was just happy that there's still the Ben he recognized deep down in Bennett, although it's faint, but it's there.
Sandra heavily dislikes the Sandra of Bennett's world.
Second answer;
Ben isn't the type to just blab on and on without stopping. This version of Ben is stoic, and had very little thing to say, but he is blunt and will not hesitate to talk his opinions and what's on his mind if necessary.
However, he doesn't like talking too deep into his personal life. Although all the Shades are his friends, he's not as open as the prime version, and it's not like Ben is the only person who likes to keep secrets; Danny didn't reveal who he really is until about a year and a half after being with the Shades, June didn't even said a peep about being the Te Xuan Ze at her home until 2 years later, Randy didn't even told Ben that he became the ninja when they were in highschool until he got the Heart of Tandem, much less than any of the Shades are even aware that Randy and the Ninja is the same person all this time until a lot later.
It's not uncommon to have someone with secrets, and it's not uncommon either for those who doesn't question it; because they have their own reasons not to talk about it, and everyone respected each other's privacy.
Rex knew because he had witnessed the situation, Randy knew because he was the reason Ben even moved to a different country altogether, and Zak knew maybe sometime along the lines through their friendship (trust trust). Everyone else would at some point find out individually depending on their pace and Ben's initial level of reluctance would lowered to each Shade.
In conclusion, Bennett would've cried if he was treated nicely like he was their child by the prime version of his parents if he wasn't the type to bottle things up. And Ben would've kept himself quiet about his past unless some incident happened that made him do it.

An anon asked me what my favorite aspects of Yuzu’s personality were, so I went off a little under the cut. Uh...sorry. All thoughts are my own.
Oh man. I'll answer this a bit differently than I usually would because I think a lot about how he has characteristics that /could/ generally be considered character flaws, but actually make him much more interesting and fascinating in my eyes. So I’ll skip some of the usual obvious reasons to love Mr. Extra, and dive a ‘lil deeper.
1. (This is very biased since I don’t pay attention to other athletes as much as I do Yuzuru (yet), soz) His hyper-competitive, hyper-focused nature. Obviously you could argue that every athlete possesses it, but I feel like Hanyu takes it to a different level, very often. The headspace he gets into during 6 min warm up, (or the stance he takes when the final 6 skaters line up on the ice and his name gets announced, him raising his arms to the crowd with his head held high, but seemingly unaffected by the deafening cheers, eyes serious and even  dangerous in a way, out for nothing less than the gold), could be considered pretty scary, or to some (youtube comment sections are a gold mine) even rude and unnecessary. To me, those are some of the most intriguing and incredible moments to watch him, because that’s him, playing everyone, probably even himself, by creating an air of confidence that you cannot help but absolutely believe in. This unwillingness to show vulnerability or weakness, even if he may well be very vulnerable at that one moment or another, depending on whichever competition he's doing, because we all know better lol. He has an armor of steel and he knows exactly how to play his cards, he’s psychologically intimidating, as if all he has to do is flip a single switch in his head, whenever the situation demands it (rip dima who accidentally caught his eye at CoR lol poor bb).
2. That brings me to my next point. His utter level of calculation and strategic thinking. I have a huge laugh everytime people, especially antis, underestimate him, physically but especially intellectually. Sometimes you look at him goofing off at practices or galas or him falling on his butt for absolutely no reason off ice, he’s our fave meme lord after all, but if you watch a single interview, you get reminded again what's really stored in that noggin of his. And it's astonishing if you consider this is a 23-you kid, and also that he's always been like this, on one level or another. It's pretty mindblowing how far ahead he is for his age, just on a human emotional scale, and how he takes time to gather his thoughts, to consider every side and aspect of a topic in his mind before he answers questions, how he tackles being the center of the media and an idol (he’s an athlete first, I am aware, but at this point it is undeniable that his public significance and position is exactly that of an idol/megastar) for an entire nation. That takes some nerves and endurance, i don’t know how he does it. As Javi said, his brain is pretty good.
3. I love how unashamed he is about wanting and needing to be on top of his sport. He doesn't down-play it either. He will lift his finger into the air after a good skate and declare right then and there that he's won, even if he hasn't even seen his score yet. He is, in a way, a narcissist. And he loves it, too. He knows he is the best and he will be undefeated no matter what, if he delivers the skills he has trained so hard to possess over the course of his life, with all the obstacles that were and keep getting in his way. He will tell you to your face that he's better than you and will beat you next time if you beat him at a competition (rip pchiddy). He doesn't even hesitate. And people could and probably will call this arrogant or him being full of himself, but. That's never it. It's oddly, very humble and truthful, in my opinion. There is no actual hot-headed arrogance or greedy superiority there. It's simply a matter of fact. He can be a cocky bastard sometimes, oh yeah he can, don't get me wrong, but he Gets to be one. He’s earned it. And I actively celebrate when he is being a brat like that, not even gonna lie. He deserves to be. Where with most people this aura would probably bother me, with him, it makes him just more fascinating as the multi-layered person he is.
4. So then, in direct contrast to this, you also have the exact opposite of that  personality trait? The constant need to mention the masses of people that support him at all times. The fact he never forgets to mention that without the people watching, supporting and also competing alongside him, he would not be here, where he is right now. His soft tone when he speaks about Javier's influence on him, or when he literally had never ending face spasms and a skin breakout from nerves when Pl*shy praised him at CiONTU lol. The fact he doesn't neglect talking about the fans that cannot afford to see him live, including his international fans, everyone who supports him from home, he knows it and he publicly acknowledges it, because he cares. His deep, deep adoration for other athletes, or just people in general that try their best and work hard. His reverence, utter sadness and respect when he talks about 3/11 and how it impacted everything in his life, the ridiculously amazing amount of money and awareness he’s raised for the victims, the battle within himself afterwards, questioning if he’s “allowed” to keep chasing his own dream under the aspect of disaster striking so many people. His heartbreaking dedication to the sport itself, but also what he wants to express by skating (i.e. Requiem). The fact that he’s always stayed with both feet on the ground, and how he’s (outside of “competition-mode” on ice) always very soft, humble and grateful to others, and never ever acts superior or above others. His sportsmanship in general. The fact he cares so much about people. He overcomes obstacles that would have finished me 100 times over. He is so, so inspirational. His heart is golden. He claps his own thigh when he’s made an awful joke. He can’t walk properly when he’s off the ice. He’s obnoxiously perfectionist, which is so relatable. He’s a big old softie, that loves bear hugging like, everyone. His complete awareness of every single thing that carries meaning in his life and what got him to the place he is now, his will to overcome every hardship and come out stronger. So, so many aspects, so many layers. I love he.

Survivor 40: Episode 9
[A] WTF. Is Adam going to just like bumrush Jeff's podium during tribal because he believes there is an idol there?
[A] I don't think history repeating is all the past clues from Extinction because not everyone has been on Extinction for that history. It's going to be a Survivor history thing.
[S] LOL. A coin flip idol. [A] A coin flip idol? Really? That's...random.
[S] Poor Denise. If y'all hadn't voted out Sandra she would have probably volunteered to sit out.
[S] Ugh, vote Sarah out. Don't buy into her attempt to sway the jury. No gameplay in it my ass... [A] Sarah's 100% playing the game giving up her food reward to Nick. She knows Nick is mad. She's trying to placate him. Don't buy it. Vote her out (but also vote out Adam because he is driving me crazy).
[S] Betting all those fortune cookies combine to be a clue.
[A] That coin is not worth four fire tokens. [S] Hold up. She really paid four fire tokens for that? She dumb.
[S] Oh hey look. Immunity is an endurance challenge. [A] IT'S [ALMOST] ALWAYS AN ENDURANCE CHALLENGE.
[S] Yeah, officially don't like the music with lyrics. [A] It is disturbing. Survivor does not need a new theme song.
[S] Ben looks like he's raising his hand for class.
Tumblr media
[A] Bummer. I hoped Ben's weird kung-fu surfer moves would win him immunity.
[S] Denise, don't just blab the plan to everyone. Sheesh. [A] Denise, you just ruined Sarah going home. Damnit.
[A] Oh wait. We get Adam instead of Sarah? I'm not that mad anymore.
[A] You ARE a child that needs to be scolded. And if Ben plays like Boston Rob… good.
[S] Sarah's attitude right there is why they need to vote her out.
[S] I hope it is an idol at tribal. Would be funny.
[A] This tribal is going to be a mess.
[S] FUCKING WHISPERING. Seriously, ban this shit. [A] One of these time's I'd love for Jeff to just tell them to knock it off. [S] I think most people think this tribal bickering is good TV. It's not, in my opinion. It's bad TV.
[A] Adam, shut up. [S] Wait, didn't Adam start the whispering? [A] Or, you know, keep talking. Draw the attention and dig your hole.
[S] Adam asking the group who they are voting for.
Tumblr media
[A] Adam, it's you. It's 100% you. Not sorry.
[A] That fleur de lis isn't an idol. It's just a motif in set design. [S] If that isn't an idol this will be so cringe. [A] This is so awkward. [S] Yup. Cringe. But he's right. No reason not to try.
[A] "You want to play this? This thing that you can't get off the voting podium?"
[A] Jeff deserves a goddamn Oscar for keeping a straight face during this debacle.
[S] I agreed with Nick. Thought it was him.
[S] Sarah's ego is gonna get so big after that vote...
[S] Well he'll struggle on Edge. [A] Not only will Adam struggle on Edge, the rest of the people on Edge are going to struggle with Adam.

After hanging up, he turns to Mireille.
- Well, there’s good news and bad news, what would you like to hear first?
Mireille: The good news, I guess?
Lawrence: Reid got a whole lot of info on Sandra and her man. And they are up to their necks in all of their illegal activities. It’s way more than just money laundering.
Mireille: I hear a “but” coming...
Lawrence: ... but it’s mob stuff. Apparently, Sandra’s man is none other than Seb Delaney, Bridgeport’s finest criminal.
Mireille: Shiiit...
Lawrence: And he is definitely more capable than Sandra, with her tendency to blab. And he’s got good lawyers too. Bridgeport PD hates the guy because he’s so smarmy.
Mireille: Double shit.
Lawrence: But there’s more good news - because of the above facts, Bridgeport PD will be ecstatic to learn what good old Seb is up to. Especially once they learn he’s helping Sandra in her scheme against a minor. And through them, Starlight Shores PD as well.

Writing Story Collection Chapter 8 - What???
Sandra scrunches her face as the locker door creaks open. She has her hands up in a defensive position. For a moment, she feels a hand grab her. As it lets go, she notices that she feels warmth, a radiant warmth. She hears bugs and birds. She smells the natural air and wheat.
Uhhh...huh? She opens her eyes and sees that she's next to an outcrop of wheat in the middle of a field. She stumbles as light smoke dissipates into the air around her.
"Are you okay? The first jump is always rough," the informant says, drenched in sweat. He's sitting back, leaning in the opposite direction, the sun in his face.
"W-w-what?"
"I know, and I can't really explain it. The best explanation is what you're feeling right now. That...disorientation." The informant stands up and hobbles over to Sandra. "I have something for you," he says, extending a hand with the folder she was looking through earlier.
Sandra stares blankly at it.
The informant continues, kneeling down and placing the folder in front of her. "And do yourself a favor, don't go blabbing about this, all right?" He gestures around to the surrounding area. "I know enough to make life really miserable for you if I have to. You protect my secrets, and I'll protect yours."
Sandra just looks at him. She makes a face like she's been put into a blender and was spit out a little too early. "I-" She looks at the folder. "How, are we here? What-what happened to the cave?"
"We moved. That's it. Now, I have to make sure I take care of some things since I didn't anticipate this raid. even though I should've, knowing you'd get involved."
Sandra is quiet for a long time. They just stay there, in the field, for a while.
"Hey," Sandra says, getting the informant's attention. "Why did you save me?"
"You still have a job to do."
"Hmm."
"Now, I'll reach out if I have anything else. And next time, try not to bring anyone else to the party?"
Sandra gives him a small nod.
"I'm headed out. Take that folder, all that information you have about the artifact, and do as you wish. You're the reporter, I'll leave it up to you. Bye."
Sandra stands up and starts walking toward him. "Wait, what about-"
The informant vanishes in a cloud of smoke, into the wind.
"Okay, I've actually fucking lost it."
She opens her eyes and sees that she's next to an outcrop of wheat in the middle of a field. She stumbles to her knees as light smoke dissipates into the air around her.
"Are you okay? The first jump is always rough," the informant says, drenched in sweat. He's sitting back, leaning in the opposite direciton, the sun in his face.
"W-w-what?"
"I know, and I can't really explain it. The best explanation is what you're feeling right now. That...disorientation." The informant stands up, and hobbles over to Sandra. "I have something for you," he says, extending a hand with the folder she was looking through earlier.

@unqualified-sea-turkey
Sansa proved that you don't have to be ruthless, eh?
So breaking a vow sworn before a heart tree in a godswood, going behind Jon's back, revealing his secret and being a genrally deceitful person is a good thing?
Also, Dany wanted to rebuild her family's dynasty that was ripped from them. Aerys was mentally unwell, there's no doubt about that. But what else did dany have other than her dreams and plans to rebuild her family's dynasty?
Sansa wanted to be queen of the entire continent, too, or did you forget that little tidbit? She wanted it so badly she lied and blabbed to Cersei about Ned's plans so she could marry her precious Joffrey to be queen of Westeros and her dream burned to dust because Joffrey killed Ned.
Dany was born an exile. She was - for all intents and purposes - raised by an abusive brother and sold as a sex slave to a much older man. She built herself from the ground up and made the decision to remain in Essos over going to Westeros to ensure the freedmen remained free.
Sansa "won" her throne through backstabbing, broken promises, and because there was no better choice. Arya never wanted to be a lady, princess, or Queen. And Bran is just..don't get me started.
Sansa and Dany wanting their homes back - even if Dany's is a dream and fervent wish - are exactly the same thing.
Sansa wanted the security of having the power that came with being back in Winterfell and the Starks in charge.
Dany wanted to build a home in the Seven Kingdoms and rule for the benefit of the smallfolk and high Lords alike.
You also said that Sandra and Jon not taking Winterfell back would leave the Bolton's in charge, but what about leaving Cersei in charge? What was Sansa's oh so great plan for getting rid of her without Dany?
Sansa used Dany like so many others to do her dirty work and plotted and schemed much like Littlefucker in order to get what she wanted and threw dany out like trash.
Dany and Sansa are a lot more alike than you'd think, but Dany never had the luxury of a loving family and warm home as a child. They're both young women who want homes and family's back after theyd been ripped from them.
You say that I've taken it to the extreme. Yes, I have, because Stansa's have pushed me to this. All I want is to share my thoughts with my followers about the double standards started by terrible writing on D&D's part in the show and you (not a follower of my blog, how'd you see this post unless you were lurking in the pro day or anti sansa tags wanting to force your rhetoric down my throat?) Came on this post, when you could have ignored it, and wrote a response in such a manner that makes me feel as though you want me to agree with you and that your argument is correct and infallible when it's not??
You want a conversation? Your response wasn't an argument we could have had a friendly chat over. It was a firm statement that you didn't want argued. It was a you're wrong, I'm right statement of Sansa's pure and light and better and danys a murderous tyrant.
Dany is not a murderous tyrant, and who has she murdered to get what she wanted? Hm?
Betrayers, slavers, rapists, her would-be murderers? I'm not even mentioning the Kings Landing thing when that was so PAINFULLY OOC for Daenerys and just. Terrible writing.
Sansa had to be given another characters plot to make her even relevant in the show, and even then it was revolting to me. D&D are misogynistic bastards who had Sansa raped and abused to give her any sort of agency whatsoever and completely flipped her script into some badass kween in 2 seconds flat.
Sansa wanted Winterfell back and demanded the Northern Lords help when it was House Stark who lost the North in the first place because of Robb Stark and Catelyn Tully's abysmal political abilities. The northmen lost faith in house Stark, and I don't blame them.
Davos got the Mormonts, Jon had the loyalty of the Free Folk (Sansa also demanded they fight for them when they owe her or house Stark NOTHING) and she kept the Knights to herself and only sent them in once Jon's army had all but lost so she'd be seen as a saviour. Gross.
Dany wants the Seven Kingdoms and her family's throne back. Groovy. Nice. Awesome. She FIGHTS for the power she obtains, and she doesn't even start to gather it into Astapor. Her entire story is about her freeing the oppressed and making the world a better place. If you say she murdered the Masters in meereen for no reason, pls check urself. They slaughtered children to scare dany away. They just made her angry.
What Dany did to the Meereenese was justice.
Sansa "won" her throne through deceit, backstabbing, breaking a vow, lies, and snake behaviour.
Daenerys won her title of Queen through blood, sweat, tears, intelligence, and the faith of her people. That was taken away from her by terrible writing and the Starks.
P.S: this is the last time I'm going to be interacting with you or any other Stansa, vecause honestly all I want on this hell site is to live and let live and yours and other stansa's incessant need to prove Sansa's the bestest ever with no actual proof is absolutely exhausting. I became toxic as you say because I am so over people bashing Dany because of terrible writing and D&D's inability to write a fucking TV show. Also, I know why dany antis think the way they do, and it's absolutely the reason I have a headache - from rolling my eyes so hard.
Have a pleasant day.
Sansa: Winterfell is our home. And Bran, and Rickon, and Arya. We need to take it back.
Sansa Stans: YAS QUEEN!!!
Daenerys: I will take what is mine [The Throne and Kingdoms her family forged]
Sansa Stans: omg, you're a murderous tyrant who deserves death

Howdy!
🧚🏼‍♂️🧙🏼‍♀️🧚🏼‍♂️🧙🏼‍♀️🧚🏼‍♂️🧙🏼‍♀️
I am Aira Gavan, but I prefer to be called Airi. I think nicknames bring out the quirky character of an individual. I am an environmental science undergrad student, farmer, gardener, advocate, bookworm, four-eyed crackhead, avid podcast listener, pescatarian, freeloader, and the list goes on because I am a serial list maker.
I have always been into journal writing, but I opted not to do the regular recording for this year because of two reasons: (1) I thought I should mingle more with others and not reside inside my head and (2) I didn't want to buy a new diary and waste paper and stationery materials. I had big hopes for 2020. I guess almost everyone did. It was a beginning of a new decade. Every podcasts and captions that had reached my consciousness was extending the image of a year full of change. It really is a real modification: the new normal brought to you by Covid-19. I was hyping my 20th year as soon as the year started. Lo and behold, the pandemic happened. The university sent us back home. I am stuck in this bucolic corner of the world. It is like sliding off the face of the earth. There is no stable internet connection within the vicinity, plus no other human beings to interact with. There is a lot of time for my introspective tendencies. However, I did not wrote my thoughts exhaustively. I wanted to return to my regular routine. I was longing for the adrenaline rush. I miss withdrawing my weekly allowance and controlling my budget. At the same time, I don't want to leave my sanctuary. I love not having to be on call for meetings and being buried with laboratory reports all the time. I am bothered with my diminishing tolerance of the world. I feel coaxed and vulnerable whenever I am thrown in a situation where I do not know the process. I do not like the aura of my perpetual awkwardness every time I feel blindsided.
I have decided to do digital journaling utilizing my Tumblr account. I baptized my avatar as fairywitch. It was inspired from a phrase by Sandra Cisneros from a random book during the early lock down period: I am the woman of myth and bullshit (True. I authored some of it.). I want to record how I am coping and the woman I am becoming during these trying times and most especially while inside the comfort of my parents' home. Discovering yourself in a place you are not frequently accustomed at takes a different kind of effort. This is where I would blab my sojourn to my early 20s, surpass my quarter life crisis, and gain foothold at my late 20s.
I am used to some people secretly peeping a page from a diary entry. I want to share some of my narrative. This year I am consuming doses of reality, not fictional bullshits and unnecessary material caprices. This is also an attempt to hone my writing skills and get back on track. I am feeling lethargic as the days pass by. I would constantly wallow into my thoughts and this idea of eventually publishing them sounds interesting. I have been making attempts to write that future bestseller kilig shit novella aka young adult romance, but I cringe every time. I think I still do not have an established muse, or it did left my sluggish creativity. Maybe I am not still in that mind space.
For now, I would dissect and inspect my curiosities, concerns, and pursuits in this life-long journey. I would probably be posting books I have read and rate them (e.g. swoon, intriguing, worse, etc.), my random lists, some content on environmental advocacy, playlists, my favorite words, and anything under the sun, the moon, the stars, and other heavenly bodies.

broken record but. if you like the content of a creator, let that be art, fic or gifsets, please reblog and not just like the post. it means the world to us when you reblog and let your followers see what you liked. Sometimes it takes endless hours if not days or weeks to create something. And it’s the biggest motivator in the world if you support it if you dig it. Only you see your own like.
I’ve been busting my ass to create fanart or other content for more than half a decade and I appreciate every like, but reblogging honestly means so much more and helps so, so much to promote someone’s work. just saying, sorry sorry.

I think that Jon spreading the secret and Sandra blabbing is supposed to further drive the point of why Ned had to keep quiet and not tell even his fucking wife. But I'm giving to much credit to d&d for this.
This is all me.
Ned Stark kept an insane secret, allowed his family to think he was dishonest, all for the sake of family. And then Jon spreads that insane secret like herpes, to the people he shouldn’t have told, because of “family”. Have you learned nothing from your father Jon Snow? Would it have been that bad to keep it all to yourself, support Daenerys in winning the Throne, while you stay as Jon Snow because you clearly don’t want to be Aegon Targaryen? If you’re so uncomfortable with this aunt-nephew relationship, of being Aegon Targaryen, of keeping it all a secret from your family, then bloody hell, help Dany win the throne, and just say your goodbyes and leave Westeros, or go North. You just effectively, regardless of how good your intention was, betrayed the woman you love so dearly, and now she’ll lose everything.

Lawrence: We’ve just been talking about how your guardian’s boyfriend is very particular about keeping his public image clean - can’t be in the public eye while committing crimes, can he?
Mireille: So, we’re thinking that, if he’s embroiled in something serious, there won’t be a way for him to get away from the police.
Brook: Ok? And how can we make that happen? If the guy is so meticulous.
Lawrence: Well, Reid is still spying on them back in Riverview. He’s recording conversations, finding out what they are up to. And we’ve been talking about it - your Sandra has a tendency to blab, doesn’t she?
Brook nods.
- Yeah, she kind of does.
Mireille: Then, it’s a matter of time until she reveals something she shouldn’t!
Lawrence: As for your safety, we’ve been discussing that as well. Mireille mentioned that it might be a good idea for you to acquire some fame of your own.
Brook: Me!?
Mireille: Think about it. If these people are looking for you, they’re bound to find you eventually. And it’s much harder to do away with someone famous.

As the sound of the couple’s lovemaking becomes very obvious, Reid reflects once again about how little he likes this part of his job. He’s been working as a private eye for years now, and yes, this is certainly not the first time he’s been forced to listen in on people in the bedroom. So, he’s not as uncomfortable about this as he used to be, but he really wishes these cases were rarer.
Unfortunately, people have a tendency to blab a lot after the sex is done and he can’t log off just yet.
But this time around, the two are clearly worn out from the day’s activities and soon Reid hears snoring coming through. Yep, definitely asleep and quiet now.
Which is all good. After double checking that he has backups of the recording on his laptop and on the external drive, he sends the sound file to Lawrence, along with a message summarizing everything.
It’s been a long day and he is tired, but he did learn quite a bit. For starters, it seems like the arrangement that made Sandra the girl’s guardian was fraudulent and he knows Lawrence’s lawyer will be more than happy to start working on setting up Brook’s legal freedom.
Tomorrow, he plans to tail these two with the purpose of keeping track how much they find out about Brook’s whereabouts.
