it isn't a city, or a town. not a person or an animal. rather, périsier is a world, filled to the brim of something most worlds have long lost.

opportunity. possibility.

périsier is a blank slate, so open and so ready to be built and made into something full of grandeur by its residents.

but, what residents?

this land, so wonderful and open, has no residents. at least, that's what those that have been ripped from their realities believe. so they build, and they create, based on memories of their own homes. and it becomes beautiful.

but the world shouldn't be taken at face value. especially not the beautiful canvas that périsier is.

to those that choose exploration over creation, they find ruins; ruins that tell the tell of a past civilization, ripped asunder from some unknown hideous thing.

the first exploration into the ruins seems to... wake something up in the world of périsier.

monsters roam the land in droves, sizes ranging from large to small, furry to scaled.

plain beasts to magicked horrors.

périsier isn't the same beautiful canvas it was when people first arrived. danger lurks in the shadows for those who travel alone, and the ruins, more and more of which are discovered, threaten to shake apart what the residents believe they know.

to my fellow roleplayers: would anyone be interested in an animanga sandbox rp on discord? i'm kind of over using jcink; this way i don't have to pay for premium or a skin and fiddle with it. i've just noticed there's a distinct lack of discord roleplays that use animanga/original art for faceclaims, or aren't panfandoms, so i might see what kind of interest i garner here before setting that in motion

You have the option to share your email address publicly on your profile as a form of contact but otherwise it is kept private from other members.

The only staff members with access to your email address are administrators.

Hey there! I’m absolutely interested in maybe trying to jump ship in the tumblr rpc, because I just can’t with them toxicity, the virtue signaling, I’m just so exhausted. I miss forum RP- anything I should know or the process of maybe joining you forum?

Hello!

We're sorry to hear you've been experiencing that. The only basic requirement for joining our site is that you are 18 years old or older. All we ask is that our members familiarize themselves with our rules. We do have a requirement that posts are tagged for potentially triggering content, which is detailed in our rules.

You can find help with navigating the site on our Help page if you need it and the staff's PMs are always open to assist. When you join, you'll receive a welcome PM with some links and suggestions of where to find partners on the forum, too!

Some of our users have also been experiencing some issues with logging in (we have someone lined up to help us resolve the issue ASAP), so if you get an error message that says "Authorization Code Mismatch", try refreshing the page or hitting the "Home" tab on the navigation bar at the top of the page. We apologize in advance if you run into this issue yourself!

More than that it's not about having the same opinions as me lolllll the thing I am literally always going on about is that I hate when fandom collectively decides what is or isn't acceptable interpretation, fanon intermingles with canon to the point you're a crazy person for pointing out why it's wrong, so and so forth, the whole point of fandom is that interpretation is itself transformative and special and that peoples' diverse values are interesting and can even change your own perspective.

The thing that really fucking annoys me is when panfandom transforms individual fandoms and there's just straight-up non-canon characterisation. Canon as a sandbox is not universal.

I run a small and relatively irrelevant blog, but I like to think that the grounds on which I make my argumentation is at least fundamentally justified in some way, and that even if you're someone who actually disagrees with me or has different narrative priorities the one thing that will always be most valuable is defending a textual position. Insofar as R/WBY I think its narrative is relatively straightforward, like this is no unreliable narrator type of business, meaning that it's not like you can really come to some extreme thematic grounds without just inventing stuff - and it's not like I want to talk to a Jaune/Weiss shipper - but nevertheless the thing that matters more to me than anything is being grounded.

That's literally the fun part. I'd rather write my own stories than play with non-canon in fandom.

I'm not sure how much I can emphasise that the way I want to run my blog is that I emphasise diversity of interpretation above all, it's the only reason my blog can really exist.
