Italian-American Legionnaires marching in a parade on Mott Street at the Feast of San Rocco, August 16, 1942. It ended with a flag-raising ceremony in honor of the neighborhood boys who were in the Army.

dont know why but. patron saint of dogs and lakes. its the vibe
it's the will graham curse, i accept.
"(San Rocco) He is a patron saint of dogs, invalids, falsely accused people, bachelors, and several other things. He is the patron saint of Dolo (near Venice) and Parma, as well as Casamassima, Cisterna di Latina and Palagiano (Italy)"
"Adjutor is venerated as a saint by the Catholic Church. He is credited to be the patron saint of swimmers, boaters, and drowning victims, and the patron saint of Vernon, France",

He's feeding him!
Long story short, San Rocco got the plague and went to a cave to heal. He was almost dying of starvation when a dog started coming daily with stolen bread to help him. The owner of the dog then followed him and found the saint, saving him.
So, other than being the saint patron of invalids, he's the saint patron of dogs!
In fact, the church dedicated to him in my city does a yearly blessing of the pets, they come to your house, you have to present your animal to the priest and he'll bless it!
prayer to whichever dead catholic person is most appropriate: may I not have to run a whole week of surprise camps on crutches. in a knee brace.

with kori's third trimester rapidly approaching, she and rocco figured it was probably time to look into moving. as much as kori loves the city, raising two kids in san myshuno is expensive enough without adding a third into the mix. they decided that it was probably time to invest in a home. preferably one upstate so that the city's never too far.
