Last Saturday in San Angelo, Texas, in the middle of my set, this gentleman shouted out, “You’re going to be in South Padre Island on Thursday!”

“That’s true,” I replied, with a quick tilt of the head.

“I saw you there in September! Look!” He then approaches the stage with his phone, showing me a picture of me performing in South Padre Island.

"That's me, alright" I said.

For my boot enthusiasts: Really cool to note that not only is the Grandfathers coat made of leather, his boots are made of sharkskin, likely tiger shark. And a friend of mine who works on vintage boots in Austin says he believes the gentleman sitting down to be wearing ML Leddy’s.

This is actually last Saturday's fabulous lineup of Comedy Night at The Tilted Mug! I had so much fun performing on that big, beautiful stage!

We just checked into a hotel in San Angelo, TX. Well north of Uvalde, and totally clear, not a cloud in the sky. We’re not in the eclipse path here, which is why we were able to get a hotel room, but it passes just to the East of here. We’ll head out in the morning and find a spot. Left the Winnebago back in Uvalde.
