how did you make the fake cards?

i found the sprites for the cd database on the spriters resource and used screencaps from the game for reference when putting it together (though i didnt pay much attention to pixel-perfect spacing between letters cuz i feel like that didnt matter much whos gonna point that out lol)

i did save a "template" 4 myself of the basics (the dot was for reference of where the first letters go, woman/man are there by default since thats the most common oc name) and i hope tumblr doesnt mess up the quality or smth (edit: ok they crunched it 😭)

this is of course just for the good point/bad point stuff i have yet to make smth for the other part

#theres Two other parts for the cd data that i didnt do bc i didnt have the spoons at the time for one #and the other im not good at that kinda pixel art and the names are the only parts of the font on that sheet #maybe theres enough samples from the ripped sprites to improvise but theres still the pixel stuff lol

#mayor talk #it’s kinda a mouthful to explain the project brief but basically it CAN qualify #and i’m really excited at the thought of designing a little cd case insert n shit #i’m just worried they’ll say it’s too derivative or boring OTZ #i considered making my own utau and doing a cover but uh. i can’t sing #and i don’t wanna record the samples…. plus the process of oto’ing looks absurd #and i do not have the time to do all that #then thought about writing my own song and using a preexisting utau to sing it. but i can’t songwrite #i can barely write my own original music 😭😭 but i would like to practice more

why does everything i get really into always end up being so god damn niche. by the year 2035 i am going to be blogging exclusively about the interpersonal relationships between the pillbugs and snails hiding underneath the bricks lining the flowerbeds in my parent's garden.
