I know I said I was nervous about word vomiting on here but I really NEED to talk about Eclipse. Specifically what's happening and leading up to his breakdown.

I wanna talk about everything leading up to it. Moving dimensions, the dead kids, Ruin showing up, the stuff with Lefty and Captain, The mimic, Puppet, Charlie. There's so much that's been going on in his life during the past...5-7 months? And I just have to talk about it.

The reason I bring up moving dimensions as contributing to the breakdown and stress is, change is hard. Moving is hard. Even if you want to move or go somewhere else it can still be overwhelming. Not only that but he had to meet all these new people that, at first, he hated and wanted nothing to do with them. Not only that but because of Sun and Moon he was basically forced to deal with his own trauma and get over it to help these two goobers who couldn't even communicate normally. He also had people constantly coming into the theater, which was supposed to be somewhat his space, and asking him for help and needing him to do things. Which had to have been stressful. Then the lab was supposed to be his space but everyone else found that too and went in without his knowledge.

Then the murders started happening. Everyone was stressed out all of the time, but he especially. I don't think that the situation was worse or easier for anyone involved but his upset was the most noticeable because it felt a bit out of character. We weren't really used to seeing him so vulnerable yet? Even with him helping Puppet and Earth it was still kinda weird. But the more it happened the more in character it felt. It was easy to tell he was not well. He's never really been well but he was doing a bit worse. I don't think anyone ever really addressed to each other how all the kids were affecting them. Eclipse, Sunlight, and Puppet are all THE WORST at doing this. I don't put Moonlight in this list because I actually think he's pretty good at talking about what upsets him and getting his emotions out, from what I've seen. But they should've talked about it. Especially Eclipse. He definitely felt useless during that time because he couldn't save some of those kids. And it's essentially happening again. His kids are in danger because of THE SAME MURDERER + another murderer and he feels useless.

There's so so soooo much grief and anger piling up that it's crushing him. The Mimic showing him what "could've been" if only he had tried to talk things out or hadn't been so "stupid". Losing Puppet, FC and Foxy leaving him behind to pick up the pieces of what happened. Trying to take care of Charlie and trying to get two of his kids back. He hasn't even finished Andrew, Jake, or Andy's bodies.

Now onto the breakdown itself. It started before that call, you could hear it in his voice. Then William gave him two weeks and Roxanne walked in at actually the perfect time. If she hadn't showed up he might not have gotten to let his emotions out the way he needed to. Then he started projecting on her HEAVILY and you cannot convince me otherwise.

"Is it in your nature to screw me over?" -This one might be pushing it but he's always been in his own way. Eclipse has always had an issue with getting out of his own way. Keeping himself from making good healthy relationships with people, putting up walls, overworking himself until he gets like this.

"You're such a failure." -Saying that to Roxy didn't make any sense. What would've made her a failure??? This one sounds A LOT like him telling that to himself just out loud.

"Got some more brain-dead ideas in there?" -This goes with the previous one. Eclipse has made a lot of plans in the past three years and they almost always fail or just get ignored. Specifically with Puppet and giving her a different alternative instead of dying or telling William that he can get him a different body and William saying he wants that body.

"Suddenly you care?" -This one is a big one for me. Eclipse said he doesn't understand why he cares so much. Like this man has spent the last 2-3 years "not caring" about anyone and doing whatever he wants. Killing and torturing whoever he wants or anyone who has wronged him in some way. Then he started getting close to people. The first being Earth. I think she was literally the first person (that he didn't make) to genuinely be nice to him and try to help him. Then there was Puppet followed by FC, Ballora and everyone from that dimension, excluding Lefty and Captain, our Monty and his kids. Even if it's been about a year since he helped Earth and started caring it still seems to be a foreign concept to him.

Then there's when he starts talking about how he's supposed to know what to do "be the best" and stuff. "I'm supposed to be good at this." "I'm supposed to be good at this stupid thing." "I'm supposed to find them." "I'm not supposed to struggle." "I'm supposed to be the guy who finds stuff, who gets it done, who kills, who gets stuff situated." this reminds me of Nexus. He felt like he was supposed to be what Old Moon was and more even if no one told him he had to he that way. I don't think anyone has told Eclipse he's supposed to be the best or anything except himself. Maybe that stems from when he was Moon. Just something that came with everything else. There's a lot of "I'm supposed to" going around.

And when he started talking about his Kids is when it seems like it starts to sink in for him. The way his voice sounds and the hesitation paired with forcing his voice to say what he needs to say. Then he goes back to "I'm supposed to be good at everything." He's so frustrated and so stressed out. Frustration is literally I think one of the worst feelings for me because it feels so infuriating and it can happen so often. Even just the build up of small things inconveniencing me can make me break as badly as he did. Being frustrated sucks. Especially when it's something as big as his kids.

Another thing I want to point out is that he says "If I can't find them, who can?"

He doesn't realize there are people who CAN help him and are probably willing to help. Like Monty or Ruin. Both are smart enough and could help. And if not anyone from the dimension he's in, maybe someone from the main dimension. Genuinely I think I would go insane if he actually asked for help from someone in the main dimension. The first option is definitely Monty since those two get along. Solar is a BIG maybe but I bet he would understand especially with everything that just happened with Jack. Might not be willing to help all the way but could give hims some outside ideas. Personally I think it would be huge if he asked Moon. It probably will literally never happen but Moon is EXTREMELY intelligent and idk that's just something that would show a lot of growth for the both of them. Again it's like literally the least likely to happen.

But he's putting so much pressure on himself when there IS OTHER PEOPLE WHO ARE AS SMART AS HE IS. MAYBE SMARTER??? That can help.

Not only that but he is terrified that Andy and Jake are going through what he went through when he was stuck in his head during the Mimic situation.

"They're stuck in their heads. Their body just being used like a tool."

Eclipse was a tool. He was stuck in his head and was a tool for someone else who would've just killed him eventually or toyed with him until he snapped. Thinking that someone else might be going through that sucks and even worse thinking your own kids are going through that? Without knowing how to help?

Now the part I wanted to talk about THE MOST.

"I'm not a dad. I can't ever be a dad. I can barely take care of myself."

Oh boy. This. This hit hard.

Taking care of yourself is hard. Keeping yourself healthy and alive and well is difficult. The world feels like it's against everyone. Pair that with suddenly having to take care of other people? Small people who are more vulnerable to getting hurt or lost than you are? That's terrifying. That's really really scary. It's even worse when you believe that you can't do it or don't deserve it. Now times that by four. This mf really is a single dad who just got four kids dropped at his doorstep with absolutely no instructions or any idea on how to take care of them. Not only that but he's extremely bad at taking care of himself. Thank god he's an animatronic cause I think if he was human he would be dead.

I think he wants to be their dad. He wants to hang out with them and teach them and help them be healthy people.

He can also kinda connect to them in a way that's like...his life was basically taken from him. He never got the chance to be someone on his own. He was just a killcode that went rogue. All his kids also had their lives taken from them. All of them were robbed of a childhood. Both Andrew and Andy were murdered in probably horrific ways. Jake died from cancer at a young age and Charlie was taken from her life and put in an environment that literally poisoned her and eventually killed her.

But he does want to be their dad. He just doesn't think he can be. Parenting is one of the hardest things anyone can do. You are responsible for this person until they are an adult and can take care of themselves. You are responsible for making sure they can take care of themselves. You're responsible for making sure to teach them how to be a good person and what empathy is. Teach them what kindness is and help them become someone who helps others. Help them become someone that can be special to someone else. How you treat them can affect how they treat EVERYONE they will ever meet or ever have any kind of relationship with whether that be romantic, platonic, familial, etc.

He already feels bad about how he's taking care of Charlie. He doesn't have time to help her but at the same time parenting is about making time for all of your kids. Even then it's still hard. Eclipse has so many examples of himself failing to do things and its taking its toll. If you feel like you failed at everything else what's going to make this time different?

Everything, all of it, is sinking in. To him the whole world is on his shoulders. He has to fix everything and he doesn't understand that he can't. That there are other people who can help. And he's scared. There's a deadline. That deadline isn't like failing a class or getting fired. That deadline determines whether or not someone gets to live or dies in a horrific or gruesome way.

The fact that it took him THIS LONG to have a full on breakdown is insane. It takes so much strength to make it that far while holding it in. He's changed so much and has grown so much and oh my god the amount of stuff going on is crazy.

ANYWHIZZLEE...that's my rant. Wow that is a lot. I genuinely love this character with my soul. I love the way he developed, I love how complex he is, it's just amazing to me. I love most of the characters Davis plays and I love the whole story as a whole. Does any of this even make sense??? 😭😭😭

Charlotte 'Charlie' Emily Puppet is a powerful magic user that rivaled the gods and entities alike. She didnt want anything to do with the gods and often defied them, yet she is left alone since killing her have been impossible—she revives each time.

For a century straight, she worked alone while defeating sadistic entities and defying the gods who have learned to just ignore her.

She didnt feel, her body only reacted; her body was so expressive yet her mind was so... clear, but she is incredibly smart. Why was that? Puppet never bothered to explore that side of hers.

On her—what?—17th, 19th revive? Thats when she met Eclipse, a humble father trying to care for his three sons: Andrew, Jake and Andy.

Puppet didnt have children of her own—not yet at least, so she was confused upon seeing the kids, but Eclipse merely befriended her and taught her how to care for the kids (considering Eclipse has been soloing this whole parent thing after, er, an accident)

Slowly, Puppet learned how to... feel. It felt so odd having her mind occupied with these things called 'emotions' but she learned to adapt to it. It wasnt long that she became so lively and her smile felt genuine.

Eclipse then introduced Puppet to his friend, Foxy, who had a baby named FC at the time. Puppet helped care for FC, and then Puppet and Foxy slowly fell for each other in the process—they did this thing, it was called... 'marriage'? Puppet hasnt heard of that word up till then, but she liked it.

It was all perfect now.

Until the event happened.

She hasnt seen Eclipse is centuries—5 whole centuries of only hearing about what Eclipse has done but never seeing him despite her efforts to try reach him in time after each disaster.

Foxy and FC... They werent immortal like her and Eclipse, so Puppet had to watch them slowly age and die, whether of old age or not, as she remained the same.

That reminded her why she worked alone in the past: there was nobdoy she could love forever that could stay with her.

And, with Eclipse gone, Puppet reverts back to how she was: alone, but now she felt.

And she felt sorrow.

She felt regret.

Shame.

Anger.

So maybe thats why she welcomed Eclipse with open arms when she saw him again. He looked different, but this was her only friend now... plus two kids?

Rose (what I’ve started calling EAPS Roxanne) was probably the best person to be there for Eclipse in this moment. She’s been watching first hand all Eclipse is going through trying to get Jake and Andy back, even blaming herself when Vincent managed to escape last time

She just let Eclipse break down and cry because in the end, that’s probably what he’s been needing. I’m not even sure when’s the last time he’s actually rested.

Poor Eclipse is so not used to physical affection and comfort that his first reaction to Rose moving closer was to defend himself

Then when he said “They’re all I have.” God that just broke me

Sure he has Charlie and Andrew, but I think what he means is that Jake and Andy were the first people to genuinely care about him without expecting anything in return and him the same

Andrew just attached himself to Eclipse one day and Charlie was forced onto him. But Jake genuinely just liked and wanted to be around him. Andy was surprised that Eclipse wanted to help him as well as Jake.

Honestly I think Eclipse sees a bit of himself in both. Jake acts like how he once was when he first gained consciousness, scared, confused, yet so innocent. Andy acts like how he was afterwards, angry at a situation he was forced into and wanting to punish everyone around him for it.

I really hope Rose manages to get the others to step up and help Eclipse anyway they can. He needs his kids back. He needs them safe in his arms. He may not think he’s a dad but he’s their’s.

Question for the more experienced shippers in the mix. It feels like there is a constant pendulum in motion swinging between shippers being pissed at Nic and then pissed at Luke. And for reasons I don’t fully get. It’s a huge drain and honestly grates on my nerves more than the Jakolas at this point. Is this to be expected from here on out?

Ok I'm of the opinion that people should manage their own expectations and shouldn't look to others but I'll give this advice.

Their jobs are our source of entertainment. Their real lives is of interest but it is at a distance. They are not us we are not them. They provide small insight to how they live, we shouldn't ask for more than what they give or when they give it.

Be happy for them when you see them together it's hard to live when you're being scrutinized and criticized every day.

There is always more we don't know. More we won't see and even more we cannot explain. Let them choose their story and what and how they want to tell it. Theories will always be thrown out but don't let theories consume too much of your brain space. Theories can corrupt hence some of the emotional outbursts I see online. That's why distance is needed when looking from the outside.

Focus on other things too. We aren't going to ever get 24/7 content. Whatever we get watch, observe, comment respectfully and move on.

Do not preach and spread hate even if they do something you do not agree with. I'm not saying don't discuss, but don't hate either. They are not robots who will be unfeeling, they have personal struggles as we do.

Unless we are in the industry we will never fully understand what and why they do those things and what they are exposed to that we don't see. Maybe their respective situations provide a safety net from something they are dealing with for now.

One day will never be the next, each day is different. Do not let their public situations be your personal highs and lows.

We see their brand and image more than we see their personal life but behind the brand is a human being with emotions, struggles, ups and downs like anyone else. They do not have conventional love stories and closeness that we experience. Theirs is played out for the world to see, they have to protect them and their loved ones while still doing their jobs and living publicly.

When we realise we can easily live privately compared to them and they have to go through hoops to have some semblance of privacy and a normal life we will be more empathetic.

Life and humans are messy, as with any job, relationship etc things are not linear and sometimes things don't go our way. But it isn't our way it's their life. Not ours.

Stop projecting your expectations on their story. Separate the actors from what you want for them and what you want for you out of this. Their relationship is a bonus, their work is the main attraction. Sooner you get that the less you begin to spiral.

Today is Jake and Antonia tomorrow could be another situation. Again life isn't linear.

They also work together and there is a possibility they have a season or 2 again to go. Maybe they cannot move forward now for contractual reasons or if they can, it's things they need to consider that could be impacted if they are together or not. We don't know so we cannot judge harshly.

Shipping is not for the weak. Look up Christopher Plumber and Julie Andrews. Yes that same Julie who voices LW. She's decades into a Sound of Music ship. Martin and Meryl. I'm not saying this is the timeline for N and L but it's to show we don't control it, they do.

Appreciate the ship, worse thing is to force a relationship and they're not ready. Let's say they're together then break up, we aren't going to be there to wipe tears we won't see. Is that really what you want for them as fans? Where they can take control to make sure their friendship and working relationship is as healthy as possible let them decide because we definitely won't be there to pick up the pieces if they're together then break up. Hearts bleed a different type of sorrow and blood we don't see when genuine love and connection are broken. Losing a loved one to death is hard, losing a loved one while they are alive is fucking war.

OG shippers see it in compartments. We don't see all in a vacuum because not every thing fits. What we do know is we like them and their work and want the best for them. I also think there are new fandom people who have never shipped before or never observed a ship. If this is your first fandom and ship experience welcome to hell. I've been waiting for another ship for years but that's not happening yet so lol. Hope this helps.

Ok chat, hear me out

I have a theory/prediction/idea for what might happen in EAPS

So I have a pretty strong feeling Puppet will die in the next couple of days since Matt is stepping down as co host which means a new character will be taking Puppet’s place. Since it was just revealed that SAMS Charlie was kidnapped and held in Puppetmaster dimension and is now dying due to exposure of NSP, what if she becomes the next Puppet?

Eclipse says that the EAPS dimension never had a puppet but does have an unfinished model somewhere, and Puppet said that if Charlie was lucky, she would end up like them. So what if, through some sort of circumstance, they need/decide to save Charlie by putting her in the suit? Charlie is currently dying from NSP which could give her powers (maybe not the same as Puppet’s) and help her bind/posses the suit.

And she’s voiced by Flora who plays Ballora which is a pretty important and prominent character, and I think if someone were to step in as the new co host, it would make sense to be Flora.

So what if SAMS Charlie replaced our Puppet? Like, Puppet is most likely having to leave/disappear somehow, and it’s kinda weird to introduce Charlie again right before Matt leaves, therefore I think it would make the most sense to have Charlie become the next Puppet.

I think it would be pretty interesting to follow a nearly turned Puppet. We’ve haven’t really dove that deep into children turning into animatronics (all we got with Stitchwraith was that he resented Foxy and wanted to get revenge. Andrew slightly talked about being trapped with Jake and not being able to move himself, but there could be more I’m forgetting. Jakey seemed confused at first but quickly adjusted while Andy just seemed upset and we don’t see much of him. Dazzle doesn’t care about being an animatronic lol she’s just living her best life.) so there could be a lot of potential with having Charlie deal with having her life taken from her and navigating through any resentment towards Puppet since Puppet is kinda the reason she was targeted on the first place.

The Dad Alliance

This is a fanfic idea I have had for a while and finally decided to work on.

Based on the Sun and Moon Show, and Eclipse and Puppet Show, canon is fast and loose cos I want to let these dads and their broods be happy goddammit!!!

The Dad Alliance

Was it possible for a ghost kid to die of boredom? Andrew was starting to think it was, it had been over a month since Eclipse finally built his body and figure out a way for him to possess it. When Eclipse started to work on Jake and Andy’s body it came with a few issues; mainly it was because Andrew and Andy wanted the same body. After all it was their old body before the whole Stitch Wraith saga so naturally, they would want to reclaim some normalcy by having that, but they did not want to share the same appearances because hey how creepy would it be to suddenly have a clone of yourself living with you?

Eclipse had suggested that each boy gave him a list of desired features that they could add to give each other some individuality empathising on it being toned down stuff like skin blemishes like freckles and moles, different hair and eye colour, or hair styles “Not a Mohawk!” he had declared to which the boys groaned in annoyance. 

However, Eclipse had forgotten that Andrew and Andy were parallel versions of each other so even though the two had written their lists at different times in different locations they had somehow written the exact same list of features they wanted. Now both boys wanted these features and not their ‘plain’ bodies and Eclipse found himself back at square one with keeping the peace with these two squabbling dimensional twins.

It was Roxy that found a middle ground by suggesting that they compete for it through a racing game tournament, they would number the features on the list and play that number of races. So, for example whoever won race 1 would get to have the feature listed as number 1 in this instance it was having lighter brown hair. The result was two boys who could be mistaken for siblings but not clones of each other and because the boys were on equal playing levels they got an equal number of features.

That was a month ago and it had been a week since Jake and Andy finally got their bodies, Eclipse put their old body in storage and then an insane number of locks on it. Andy wanted to put it in the trash compactor and watch their prison be reduced to a trash cube, but Eclipse explained that the power source would probably level the pizza-plex and everything within five miles of it if they did that.

So, off to gather dust bunnies in storage it went.

Roxy helped the boys and Charlie to order stuff online to help make their rooms more homely and with Eclipse’s help with building furniture their rooms now looked less like a storage for lab equipment and more like a futuristic bedroom. Ballora naturally took them shopping for clothes which resulted in Eclipse dragging Ballora out of the mall after nearly maxing out the credit care and giving the kids more clothes than they knew what to do with most of which were too ‘high fashion’ to be used by anything other than super models.

But that was last week…now Andrew was bored and he knew the others were too, Eclipse had them doing stuff like Simon Says and bean bag toss to measure how well their bodies were doing but after a while those games get dull. 

“Right get your shoes on we’re heading out” Eclipse declared gruffly which all four perked up to.

“Outside? You mean outside, outside or outside as in out of the lab?” Andy asked.

“Outside, outside” Eclipse stated “We’ve done as much as we can in here for now I need to get some readings on how your bodies do outside of lab conditions”

There was a soft groan from them as they realised this was just another check-up; they understood that they had basically completed a whole-body transplant and Eclipse explained that he had added a lot of features to help them feel ‘human’ so it was understandable that they would need to take things slow.

However, what kid enjoys check-ups?

Eclipse opened a portal and ushered all four through, fully expecting them to be in an empty field or garden lot to see how they deal with dirt or something boring like that the kids were surprised when they saw that it was in fact a car park in a forest. What got their attention was they big gates that stated “Tumble wood Adventure Play” all of them stared at the sign as it slowly dawned on them where they were.

“I think this should be sufficient for seeing how your bodies handle more demanding tasks for your motor functions and balance. Maybe later we can look at other functions as well…” Eclipse muttered checking his readings to make sure they were synced to his computer in his head than in the lab, he glanced down to see Jake hugging his leg happily.

“Thank you thank you thank you!” he beamed, the solar model made an uncomfortable noise and patted Jake’s head with barely disguised affection.

“Right now, before we go in there’s one last thing I need to go over with you three in particular” he declared “While in this dimension animatronics are less uncommon so hopefully we won’t get as much flack as we do back home…”

Charlie looked at her feet sadly she still remembered being called a freak that time she went to the park nor anyone else’s confused stares when she left the Pizza Plex.

“However, what is Taboo in both worlds in human animatronics, there is a reason why Faz bear never just made themselves robot pop idol and called it a day and why even us Day Care Models look like we do. People get very upset when we approach Uncanny Valley levels of human appearance.” He explained “So if anyone asks you where your parents are just tell them that I am your au pair”

“You want us to tell them you’re a pear?”

“Au Pair” Eclipse corrected “It’s another word for nanny, but if anyone doesn’t buy it then give them my number and I’ll talk to them like that”

“Won’t they find it suspicious that our au pair and dad have the same voice?” Andrew demanded.

“Not Necessarily” Eclipse stated using his old Solar Flare Voice.

“You sound like a robot” Charlie giggled.

“I think that’s the point” Andrew exclaimed.

“With that out of the way” Eclipse stated “I think the usual rules apply out here, don’t get hurt, don’t get in fights, don’t break the rules or laws and NO MAGIC Charlie!”

“Aww”

With that said they went in and once past the entry gate the kids could see that this place was huge! There were wooden climbing frames of all sorts, some of them smaller for the little kids, others were big multi levelled climbing frames with zip lines, ladders, bridges that connect to several tree houses, several slides each looking more fun that the last. Heck it even had a wooden castle complete with a play moat which connected to a water play area. All of it made from wood and given a natural forest feel to it.

The boys were practically vibrating with excitement as they finally got to a gate to enter, as soon as they were in, they shot off. Charlie watched them go and glanced at Eclipse who had found a bench to sit at.

“What about me?” she asked.

“What about you?”

“Didn’t you say that this was to see how their bodies deal outside?”

“I can multitask” he stated “I can get my readings and take you guys somewhere fun to burn off some energy”

“You big softy” she chuckled.

She did not need telling twice and was already making a beeline for the forest castle.

The Boys had run up to a rope bridge that went up into the nearest climbing frame, Jake and Andrew clambering up with the simple mission of getting as high up as they could. Andy stopped at the top of the rope bridge to look around merely taking in the view and fresh air after being trapped inside a box for months he was more than ready to enjoy every experience he got.

As he looked around, he saw other kids playing on the swings and parents racing after toddlers but he stopped when he saw…a faun?

No, it was a deer animatronic with purple ribbons in her hair and big green eyes who was skipping about looking at everything probably trying to think of where to start first, she then saw Andy and they locked eyes. She tilted her head in confusion.

Eclipse did say Animatronics were more common here and that she could very well be the mascot for this place she certainly fit the whole forest theme but it was what he heard her say next that made his skin go cold.

“You’re like me?” she asked.

Eclipse’s warning was still fresh in his mind, He remembered that most of the Pizza Plex Animatronics had a scanning feature so they can get people’s guest files, but Sunshine and Moonshine could use that feature to scan for injuries too.

Could this deer tell that he was not human? What would it do if they found out he is technically deceased? Kick him out? Give him to the authorities? Lock him away in a lab while they would poke and prod him to figure out how a human soul was in a robot body? He could feel his whole-body tense up at that idea, no never again. Eclipse may have them in a lab but he respected Andy’s need for space and did whatever tests Eclipse needed at his pace he understood that Andy did not like feeling trapped.

He then saw an animatronic that looked like it belonged in a pumpkin patch come up to her and they began to talk, Andy decided to use that as a chance to get away from the situation and clambered further into the tree house. He was going to get as far away from those two as possible and then find Jake and Andrew to warn them to stay away as well.

He had found a wooden tunnel that took him to the next tree house and was crawling through it when the entire thing juddered violently causing him to fall flat on his face. He looked down between the gaps of the planks only to be meet eye to eye with something glowing orange, it pulled back to reveal it was that same pumpkin moon model that had been with the Deer clinging to the bottom of the tunnel like a creepy spider. That would be alarming on its own if you did not also know that the tunnel was high up from the ground and no normal person should be able to reach it.

“Found you!” it beamed “We have questions!”

Andy bolted and he could hear the robot scrabbling behind him as he ran through the tree house, he saw flashes as the thing crawled past the small windows trying to beat him to the door, he froze for a second as it loomed in the door way, arms out to catch him.

“Why are you running?” it asked “We want to ask you something”

Remembering a move he saw in a video game he ran forward and then at last minute dropped to the floor and slipped right past under the robot. His legs and arms stung from the grazes he got from the dry wood but right now he was focused on getting away from that thing.

“Is this a game?” he heard it ask, “Okay I can play! I will give you a head start”

Now the pounding of his feet was tempered with the sounds of the pumpkin model cheerfully counting down from twenty as it watched him run, maybe it’s security feature and play programming had a glitch but he was not going to question his luck.

He bolted past other children who carried on unaware of his plight, he crawled through tunnels and clambered over climbing frames and anything else to just try and get some distance.

“Nineteen…twenty!” he heard it yell “Ready or not here I come!”

He had come to a platform with rope fence that was like a crow’s nest in the trees, he looked back and nearly threw up in anxiety when he saw the robot was heading his way with such unnatural speed crawling over play equipment like a hellish spider on a caffeine high. In his panic he glanced around before seeing the Zip Line that take them back down to the ground, he grabbed it and launched himself off as he zipped down, he swore he could feel that thing’s fingers graze the back of his neck.

But he made it to the bottom with a thud and looked up to see the robot staring down at him. He took off running again and saw Jake and Andrew come down a slide.

“Hey there you are!” Andrew shouted “Where the hell did you go?”

“We need to…” Andy started when he felt two large hands grab his waist and lift him in the air.

“FoUnD Yooooooou!” the moon model declared “now come with me”

Jake and Andrew stared in horror as this Pumpkin themed robot put Andy over their shoulder like a sack of potatoes and began to walk away. The boys found themselves frozen in terror as Andy was taken.

This was it; he thought as his mind began to race in sheer panic, he was only free for two weeks and now he was going to trapped again, locked away again this time he will not have someone else to talk to he will put in another box alone, trapped, blind, unable to feel, touch or hear anything. Trapped, unable to die unable to leave unable to breathe. Trapped, trapped, trapped, TRAPPED.

Andy was on the verge hyperventilating but as tears began to streak down his face he found the strength to scream.

“DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD!”

God, I'm actually shaking.

That was so much more tense than anything I expected. But, it worked! Jake and Andy are safe!

As much as Eclipse doesn't want to leave them in those boxes, I hope he at least takes a minute to just breathe, now that his boys are safe. Yes, Afton's still a problem, but the situation isn't nearly as urgent now. There's no deadline anymore.

It is a bit concerning hearing Andrew saying he felt cramped suddenly. It's got me wondering if having two ghosts of the same kid in one place is a problem, sort of like how two people in a dimension can't have the same signature. Maybe, without a proper body, Andy's spirit is still sort of 'free-roaming', like Andrew's, and the universe is trying to 'fix' this anomaly? Another possibility is that it has something to do with Eclipse's method of getting the boys out. It WAS originally designed to exorcise Andrew, so maybe, even with Eclipse's alterations, it still had an adverse effect. Either way, it's concerning.

But, for Jake and Andy themselves, I wonder what route Eclipse is going to take with their bodies. Based on how much he wants them to be capable of walking around, I'm figuring he's just going to make them basic temporary bodies first, for them to use while he makes their real bodies. I hope he'll take a similar route that Moon did with Dazzle, and he'll let them give input on what they want. Based on how Andrew is, I can imagine Andy wanting to still look, at least somewhat, like himself. Jake...I don't know. I feel like he would hear that he can look like whatever, and he'd let loose with ideas a bit more. Or, maybe he'd also just want to look like himself. Regardless, I'm really excited to see how they'll both feel about having bodies of their own again!

Am I the only one who thought ARquius' design was terrible? Like, Lil Hal isn't just a pair of shades that talks like Dirk. It is a very distinct representation of Dirk. Canonical lore established in THE FIRST FOUR ACTS showed us that prototyping a sprite with a stand-in item will give it all of the properties of the item it represents. It's why Nanna's ashes and urns turned into a granny instead of a vase-headed whatever. It's why a stone frog head turned Aradia's sprite into a frog instead of just making it croak occasionally. It's why the crow made Davesprite much more intelligent and mischievous than Dave Classic despite the fact that his trauma compounded on the crow's association with emos and goths. Also yeah the crow also made him kind of emo. Not as bad as it could be though because crows are, by definition, goofballs.

What do we get with ARquius? Equius but he's a horny weeb. Which is just Horuss. Where's the dirk in all this? There's not enough Dirk in there, the Dirk attitude was relegated to being more insistent and pressuring, and damn near none of his hairstyle imprinted on ARquius at all. Those shades aren't just an AI, they're a representation of Dirk. What do we get with Jasprose? A pranky jester type, even though you would think the fusion of an eldritch horror princess, a cat, and a psychology-major goth chick would create a regal badass who is permanently grimdark, stares boggle-eyed into corners for no particular reason, and is easily distracted by people setting off her hunting instincts.

Also funny how WP and HICU will go on about Jade's doggy dick but are really quiet about how this implies that Jasprose has a (potentially huge) fucked up cat-spiked tentacock. Or that Aradia is the only troll in existence who is fertile and can get gravid and lay her own eggs. Or that Lord English has a supercomputer brain and a VERY fucked up combination of human, troll, and cherub junk all in one go due to how sprite mechanics SHOULD work.

Andrew Hussie, WhatPumpkin, and HICU also forgot the fact that Jaspers the cat himself, got NEUTURED prior to his prototyping. Even Nepeta seems to know what he was implying when she talked to him as Jaspersprite.

So why was he hitting on Nepeta then? The relationship between Nepeta and Jaspersprite was more playful because Nepeta's affiliation with cats. It's not like wanting to date and bang Nepeta. Some could argue that it is Rose who develops feelings for Nepeta, but does the neutering still stay even when another person joins along? Or does it get overridden by another living being (like Doomed Rose here for Jasprosesprite)? Jasprosesprite mentions the Rose side of being guarded with her feelings, but the cat mind of Jaspers made her more open now.

The same Jasprosesprite^2 would later find Jane as hot. Originally it was a joke and jab to how Dave and later actual Rose herself called Jane hot.

It wasn't until in the HS2 Bonus story, Catnapped, that it isn't just playful flirting.

Even being flirty with Jake too on the side.

Keep that in mind too that it was Andrew Hussie and WhatPumpkin that had control in the Bonus Stories at the time before James Roach and HICU took over. James Roach and HICU would later then imply that the Bonus story is connected to the main plot as Davepetasprite^2 is in talks with Jasprosesprite^2 during Vriska's VN hell.

If the Dirk/Lil Hal side is hidden behind ARquiusprite because Equius being a Void Player means he is hiding Dirk/Lil Hal's true intentions, I could understand it. But it's strange then for Equius side of himself to not pick up on it and being skeptic about it unless it's the HAL/Dirk side that is controlling him to keep silent. Equius is horny, but he is genuinely smart and caring in his own way. I would have thought maybe the Equius side of him would pick up on HAL's plans and intentions that he would have to raise his conscience about it. Equius even speaking up about the issues towards Dirk is also mirroring to how he would console Nepeta, another Heart Player. But sadly, Equius has been said to be a joke character and nothing more by Andrew Hussie. Thus, he can't be written seriously despite he is part of a component to the big bad. Hussie probably didn't intend him to be part of a bigger role, but he did and Hussie couldn't back out.
