you know how in Season 5; Red Son failed to recreate/reharness the Samadhi Fire and instead created the little Flame Sprite?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Silly idea, a little bit Dragonfruit-ship focused;
Tumblr media
Au where when Mei attacks the Flame Sprite with her own True Fire - an unexpected result occurs... leaving instead of a coughing Flame Sprite, something more... needy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mei, staring with awe and fear: "Red Boy... Don't tell me that's what I think it is..." Red Son, equally horrified: "I... I'm afraid it is. When your True Fire collided with mine, it must have combined and-" Mei, shaking him: "WE JUST MADE A FIRE-BULL-DRAGON BABY!" Firey Dragon Egg: (*shakes angrily*) Red Son: "My mother is going to kill me!"
They agree for Red Son to run some more diagnostics until they can definitely break the news to their friends and family. Especially since MK is ready to implode at any moment from the stress of the Heavenly Pillar breaking.
Mei takes a million photos of "her dear eggy-weggy" before leaving though.

You Caused It
Tumblr media
I had extra time in my art class yesterday, so I started drawing something and it became a dragon and since I couldn't draw the other side of the face and I needed to use the ink, it became into LMK fan art for my au.
So the dragon is Mengyao, Ao Lie's firstborn who inherited the Samadhi fire ring from him, she's on fire cause of the effect the ring had on its holders, even if they were suited and didn't get burnt to a crisp in their eggs, it still did damage to them.
All of Mengyao's younger siblings are still alive, she and most of her descendants are not. It's only Mei and her mom left at this point.
The dragons don't know it's the Samadhi fire, they came to the conclusion it was a curse Ao Lie had gotten on the journey, and discovered that strong pairings could increase the survival rate after the curse passes to its next host, they don't want to risk just ending the line for fearing it would just hop to another of Ao Lie's descendants and the suffering would increase.
Wukong blames himself for this obviously, and avoids the West Sea Dragons entirely due to it.

You wanna know something? The fact that MK is part stone monkey like Wukong has been foreshadowed several times throughout the series: 1. Even before he became Monkey King's successor, MK always climbed things for no reason. And when he first meets Wukong, MK begins climbing and jumping on him like a monkey, something Monkey King does in return in "Bad Weather".
Three times involving the stone egg:
In the pilot, after retrieving the staff from DBK's furnace, MK emerges resembling a stone egg.
When MK makes his first clone in "Duplication", it briefly takes on the form of a stone egg.
In "Macaque", when Macaque 'stole' MK's powers, it took on the form of a stone egg.
In "The Great Wall Race", MK mentions how he always liked stone fruit. Monkey King is seen eating stone fruit at the end of the episode.
MK's past is never brought up in the first three seasons, where even Tang's past is given mentioned in how he "met [Pigsy's] parents".
MK's reflection has always been shown on any shiny surface... except for the demon-revealing mirror in "Dumpling Destruction", as it would've revealed his true nature as a stone monkey right away.
In "Destiny Fulfilled", Lady Bone Demon calls MK, Monkey King, and Macaque a "troop of headstrong simians", and in her final words to MK she calls him "monkey", suggesting she realized what MK truly is at some point.
At no point, throughout the series, has Monkey King said he gave MK his powers. While multiple characters like Spider Queen and Macaque have called it "Monkey King's power", Monkey King has always called it "[MK's] power". The only time Monkey King said otherwise was in "Calabash", and that was a fake.
MK was able to open the seal at Flower Fruit Mountain, even though it isn't indicated that Wukong gave MK the ability to do so. MK just did it for no real reason.
As Monkey King said in both the pilot and "Smartie Kid", the staff is just a heavy stick and it takes someone special to lift it. The fact MK can lift and use it at all where other characters like Red Son needed outside help hinted that MK was special. And when Macaque and Lady Bone Demon stole MK's powers, MK was able to lift the staff and regain them during the former and regained his powers gradually without the staff in the latter case.
In "The King, The Prince, and The Shadow", when the other Monkie Kids are experiencing Déjà Vu at the site where the Samadhi Fire was split, MK is the only one who doesn't feel any familiarity. This is because everyone except MK is a direct stand-in for their predecessor, while MK is something else. I wonder how this will play out with Bai He in your Ivory Girl AU.
I'll go over a few things because I love foreshadowing 🤩
1. Bai he has always had a strong sense of justice. She's always had the strong feelings that she made to help people. While this subtle and could be chalked up to her general heroism, it is still foreshadowing to what she is!
2. When Bai he stole the key back from the Dragon King of the West's Generator, blue magic poured out of it, looking like blood pooling onto the ground. This also happened with the mayor when Bai he's magic looked like blood in his hand. This references her birth.
3. During the Monkey King ARC, Bai he's hair gain streaks of white in her hair even after she got back the Skeleton Key back. This was her powers beginning to seep through as Bai he's life was being threatened.
4. Bai he was able to gain access to Lady Ivory's palace without explicitly given access from Lady Ivory.
5. Bai he is the only person besides Lady Ivory who can use the skeleton key because of her soul being a prefect match for the key's soul to attach to.
6. Bai he gets constant dejva vu when she walks around the forgotten Empire. Lady Ivory even comments on how Bai he walks around as if she had been their before.
7. Bai he has vivid dreams that slowly become more and more accurate to predicting events before they happen.
8. Bai he is the only person who doesn't get deja vu during the ritual of the where the Samadhi Dragon was sealed.

Post-JTTW Stone Egged Au asks: Bad Ichor
Amassing some Post-Jttw egg asks with similar vibes of "reject gods. stay monke".
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hehehe many questions - main ref post here. Btw in future try sending one sentence questions/comment as replies to the specfic posts. sometimes I find asks referencing a post and I can't remember which one they're talking about.
Wukong in the au makes a concious effort to inform his cubs and his people of what his mother sacrificed to bring him into the world. Her statue and the paintings on the walls of Waterfall Curtain a tapestry of a ruler more fair and far grander that any celestial in the monkeys minds.
And when their little chaotic Eclipse twins found the Consort's resting place, more of Wukong's parent's sacrifice was uncovered. Along with the King's delayed twin brother Luzhen. The little prince grows up being taught how him and the "larger him" share parents, but they aren't here in person anymore but they love him very much. Luzhen has met his and Wukong's parents during the holidays that allow it and gladly runs up to Yē Lín and Shíhuā calling them "Baba" and "Mama" let he's known them all his life. He misses them a lot. But older Brother/Mama and Bama/Baba are really good to him so he isn't sad for long.
Wukong never lets Heaven realise that Luzhen isn't his biological child, as he fears the Emperor or Queen Mother attempting to sieze custody of Luzhen out of spite. The few higher up that know agree that baby monkeys need to be with monkeys.
Pigsy is still uber confused when Luzhen refers to Wukong as "mama" and "gege" in the same sentence tho.
Mac and Wukong are still super petty tho. They call upon their ancestors during the cubs' naming ceremonies to give their little one's blessings. And along with Shíhuā, Yē Lín and Guanyin making an appearance, the royal couple are invoked to send divine blessings of protection down onto earth. They know who's calling them. They aren't happy about it but they won't hurt the little ones.
MK is still a huge JTTW fan, even more so since to him it's like learning about all this cool stuff his family did back in the Before times! And he was there for a lot it! (even if he wasn't born yet). Him and his childhood besties deduced early on that they have *some* kind of family in the Celestial realm, just not sure who.
As for the Dragons:
Tumblr media
Going by Ao Guang still being upset by the theft (barely, in Jttw his wife let Wukong have it), of the Staff, I imagine that dragon can be super petty. Ao Guang doesn't like Sun Wukong at all for the theft and the havoc in heaven, even if he was cordial to him during the Journey.
When the youngest son of the Ao Run/Ji is fatally wounded by the Samadhi Fire, basically every royal dragon had an attack of pstd to when they lost Ao Bing. They started to hate Sun Wukong for his recklessness.
Then DBK, Wukong's older sworn brother and godfather to his young twins, suddenly goes on a rampage forcing Heaven's hands.
The royal dragons basically took DBK's imprisionment as an excuse to bail out. Dragons don't like the gods, and they don't like Sun Wukong.
Mei's parents hadn't wanted to cut ties with the monkeys, but Mei was a super sickly dragon pup and Ao Yi simply couldn't emotionally deal with cutting off her family with that happening... her and Long Chen continue to send Wukong's family birthday presents, card, and the occasional letter - all covert like a spy mission. Other dragons who disagreed with the royals continue this practice as well.
And ofc S4:
Tumblr media
:)
Nezha: "Jade Emperor, there's a message for you from Sun Qi Xiaotian." Jade Emperor & Queen Mother: (*super intrigued! Did he find out about their connection?*) JE: "Send him in." Nezha, peaks head out of window: "Yeah he's in." MK: (*busts through wall like a Looney tunes character, shaking with anxiety*) MK, like he's on fast-forward: "Mister Jade Emperor sir I'm so sorry but Azure Lion's got this memory scroll and he trapped my family in it. He tricked me and my friends into freeing his old buddies from the Brotherhood but he wont let my mom loose and NOW he has my baby sister and little bro (it's complicated) and they're on their way here right now to kill you and my powers are glitching out and I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!" JE: "Uhhh..." Queen Mother, rolls her eyes and turns to her entourage: "Prepare the safehouse. Contact all the bodhisattvas and the Kings of Hell, and tell our armies to be ready for a big game hunt. And get this child some peaches." MK: (*heavily breathing/mid-panic attack. gives thumbs up*) Mei, peaking her head in: "Wow. Girl bossing!" Nezha: "And Sun Wukong my lady?" Queen Mother: (*looks over MK like he's the most precious thing in the universe. like she doesn't want to let him leave*) Queen Mother: "For the sake of my daughter... find Sun Wukong's mate the Six Eared Macaque. He knows those Brotherhood brutes well. It's the least he can do for giving my grandson such distress with that disappearing act." Rumble & Savage, appear from the Queen Mother's shadow: "Do we gets peaches too?" "I like melon better." Queen Mother: "Who are these?" MK, calming down: "My older little siblings. They're twins. Azure didn't take them. Probably because he couldn't catch them." Rumble & Savage, proudly flexing: "We're too fast!" "And we got our bama's powers!" Queen Mother: (*notices little red tiger-stripe-like markings on the twins' bodies*) "OH!!!! He had twins! My love! More wàizēngsūnérnǚ! Twins too!!" JE: (*frozen stiff on his throne, completely shocked*) "Can the brown one repeat what he said about celestial beasts coming to kill me?" MK, blanking at QM's use of chinese: "Did the Queen just say-" Orchard Maidens, quickly shuffling the Noodle Gang out of the Throne Room: "SO! How about those peaches?" "You'll learn soon enough." "Sorry, but we're going into lockdown." "He's taller than didi!" "Must be mother's genes that did that."
Basically MK is calling in the big guns early cus he's panicking, abd accidentally uncovers the fact that he's somehow the great-grandchild (by reincarnation nonsense) of the two rulers of Heaven!?
All he wanted when all this Scroll nonsense happened was a day off!

Nezha in the Century Egg au;
Almost forgot our perfect lotus boy!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the Century Stone egg au; Wukong entrusts Nezha with waking him up/taking a peak at the cave every so often, but he doesn't let him in on *why* Wukong is "meditating" for 500 years. Wukong fears Nezha pulling a DBK-level move and he can't risk it .
Nezha agrees, but obviously he's pulling double duty as is with guarding the Map to the Samadhi Fire, so he sometimes forgets what he was meant to do. He sometimes runs into Princess Iron Fan when he visits Flower Fruit Mountain, and depite being former comrades, he feels no hate towards her. Nezha understands that Wukong is one of the few connections that PIF has left in the Mortal Plane, and thinks it's perfectly reasonable for her to be on standby until the monkey wakes up from his deep sleep.
Then one day, as Nezha is *actually* meditating; he's flipping through some requests/prayers to him when he gets a very unusual prayer from FFM;
Ao Yi, hands clasped and crying: "Nezha, Patron God of Children - please ensure my little Mei is found safe and well!"
Nezha: "What the- dragons don't pray to me..."
And they don't. After the incident with Ao Bing, dragons as a whole would rather due than be caught praying to the Lotus Prince. Even to request the safety of their children.
Feeling very sus, Nezha flies down to ask the dragon parents whats up - especially since PIF told him that very few souls are able to even reach the Monkey King's island without permission.
The two dragons are completely distressed, explaining that they were relaxing on a camping trip and that their toddler-aged pup had wandered off into the jungle after what looked to be a supernatural flame.
Nezha manages to brush off the weirdness of his "clients" being dragons enough to zero in on where the little pup had run off too- and she's in Brother Wukong's cave!
Nezha zips towards Water Curtain Cave with the dragon couple at his heels. He bursts through the waterfall only to see the dirty dragon pup digging around in the soil with.... Wukong's Pilgrim brothers?
And whats that statue of a monkey doing here??
PIF: "Oh, Nezha. Glad you're here. Hold him for me please.* PIF: *hands Nezha toddler Red Son* Nezha: "EH!?" The Monkey *statue*: *starts cracking like an egg* Nezha: "?!?!?"
Its a very odd family reunion.
The lotus prince has to be filled in on some details once Wukong wakes up, and he will have things to say about Wukong burying himself for 500 years to have a baby. And he's seconds away from throttling the monkey when he hears that the process is potientially lethal no matter the immortality.
He accidentally sorta joins the Noodle Shop gang's found family? Mostly cus Tang mentioned that the Lotus Prince died as a child, and the rest got super protective of him.
The real confusion for the Lotus Prince comes about when he's called to act as baliff at the trial of Sun Wukong vs the Heavenly and Infernal Court!? What?! How did this happen- "Oh hi Macaque."
Nezha is trusted as a high-ranking officer to keep the Six Eared Macaque detained for the trial. Nezha wonders why Macaque is pretending to be held by the ropes/handcuffs.
Nezha delivers a pretty solid testimony/character witness for Wukong, as I do believe he defended Wukong while in the presence of a Boddisattva in Jttw, and he pretty much considers the monkey a brother figure.
Nezha is one of the gods to glance over at Wukong when the Monkey King started shifting uncomfortably in his seat. His godly powers told him *something* was happening, but being a mental teenager, Nezha couldn't think what.
Then the Monkey King goes into labor in the middle of the Heavenly Court while pleading for the soul of his mate.
Nezha naturally freaks the frick out.

Note
Jiuweihuli only told Yin and Jin to watch Macaque, they never said anything about not pranking him. And if doing so helps to distract and slow Macaque down a bit and buy Wukong more time... well, that's just a side benefit isn't it??
referencing.
Absolutely
Jin and Yin are *still* super mad at their sorta-adoptive-sibling for leaving Wukong alone all those years ago. and now he's working for the bleedin' BONE DEMON!?
Their mum gives them the go-ahead to make Macaque's mission a living (non-fatal) hell.
Their cousin Bo, the accountant, joins in to make sure they don't get sidetracked.
Macaque does not have a moment of peace while tracking the gang in S3.
The three demons are on him like Bugs Bunny - setting up fake roadstops, stealing the compass LBD gave him, sabotaging the fake TEA van before half the gang gets in. The Eastern Dragon kingdom even gets unlikely assistance in the form of three metal demons coming to their aid - by annoying the shit out of Macaque.
The fireworks in Lantern City? they are most certainly not an accident in the Slow Boiled Au - they see Macaque up in the Latern with Tang and set them off before he can grab the important ring-thingy.
Tumblr media
They aren't sure what the Rings of Samadhi *are*. But they all know that the Bone Demon getting them will be bad news for everyone. So if their tormenting of Macaque keeps the rings away from LBD, it's a small bonus.
Its only when things get to a bad point do they drop the pranking. Bo leaves to alert Lao Tzu and Guanyin immediately when Wukong goes to confront LBD himself. Jin and Yin join Macaque in tying up the Mayor.
And when Yuebei decides to make it into the world finally?
the twin demons are *panicking*! they need to call their mum and let her know that her grandkit is coming!
They're so amazed by the little stone egg, and later tiny baby, so much that they nearly give her their prized artifacts as gifts. Wukong refuses to let his newborn own the Calabash thankfully.
