Little intro on Lélek - from his player (I’ll just be going by Dev on here)
Lélek is a full blood Anzat and was born Lélekfogadó a Gyilkosok on the Planet Anzat. He was born during the spring in a village called Mező to Andromeda a Gyilkosok and Argonas a Béken and was born their second daughter, 12 years after his older sister Remény a Gyilkosok. There’s literally nothing known about Anzat culture so I had to just kind of pull influences from different cultures and it became a fairly simple matriarchal warrior society.
Lélek transitioned at age 8, and in Anzat culture this isn’t a taboo thing so it was well received. In Anzat culture he’s known as a Másokmás which is a similar concept to Native American two spirit. At age 13 when he became an adult he followed in his parents’ footsteps, choosing to become a bounty hunter. He spent the first third of his training at the Követ temple before leaving with his parents to train off world.
He had to flee his father after his Argonas killed Andromeda while aiming for Lélek. Both Lélek and Remény went into hiding after this and while the two remain in contact have not seen each other in many years.
Lélek was hired to kill Gasden, Myre’s owner, and feeling bad for the poor kid who’d now have no one, took them along. He was living in his ship at the time but after a few months the two moved into an abandoned tower on the outskirts of the Capitol City on Lothal that had been purchased by one of Lélek’s employers who he oversees the transfer of smuggled goods for.
Lélek sees Myre as family and is one of the few people he has left outside of his lesbian aunts EliaVira a Gyilkosok and Morlitia a Szerető, and his sister Remény.
~~~~~~~~
So that’s all the basic need to know’s about Lélek’s backstory. I’m not that great of an artist so our DM who is the main mod on this account is doing me a favor and drawing most of the Lélek art you’ll see in the future. He’s about 5′9, long black hair that’s always kept in viking style braids, he’s on the paler side with really light blue eyes, and he’s got some tattoos up his arms and legs. He wears these steel toed leather boots, black pants, black tank top, black finger-less gloves for piloting and combat, and usually has a wrap around his shoulders that he sometimes pulls over his head like a hood. His favorite weapon is his amphistaff which is this long black staff that looks like a snake and can transform between a staff and a whip. It can electrocute people and also can stop a light saber. If you have any questions about Lélek feel free to ask them here or message me at my personal account @currentlycoveredincatfur
Mom said it’s my turn for a background story post.
~
This is Laylée Ubani! She is a Twi’lek who hails from Ryloth. She lost both of her parents at a very young age before the Clone Wars. Ever since then it’s just been her and her older sister Kaylée.
Laylée married young to a husband she loved dearly. Together they had two children, Jobba and Amsara. As the clone wars rolled in they decided to move off of Ryloth with Kaylée and their children.
She settled on Coruscant with their small but loving family in the lower levels of the city planet. Sadly, Laylée’s husband was killed in the crossfire of two rival gangs. With no husband, two children to feed, and very little income, Laylée resorted to the best job a pretty Twi’lek can get: dancing. Laylée was (and still is) an incredible dancer, delighting crowds with her twirls and bows. She made decent money and worked for a man who made sure she was treated fairly by customers.
As the years went on Laylée decided to move her family again, to Capital City, Lothal. There, she and her sister started the popular local greaser style diner Rocket 51s.
While Laylée loves her job and working with her sister, her true passion is planting! She remembers the flowers her mother used to grow and loves researching the different botanical life that grows across the galaxy. She is currently saving up for tuition at Jalath’s Technical Insitute for Agricultural Research. For now, she keeps a small windowsill filled with small flowers and herbs.
~
Laylée’s story is still being written so there isn’t a lot of info on her yet.
Feel free to hit up my asks for any questions!
I’ve got a couple of messages from people asking for Myre’s and Laylee’s backstory! I’m really glad that y’all wanna know more about them. This post is just for Myre but I’ll be quick to make one just for Laylee.
~
Myre’Vao Kilalakilla was born Syná Kur on 39 BBY in the small oasis village of Unzamzee on the inner rim planet of Kiffu. Their life was pretty easy going living with their dads and loving extended family. When Myre was seven, they were kidnapped by an associate of Death Watch, Gadsden Venku.
Gadsden tried to raise Myre as his own child after the loss of his wife and daughter a few years prior. However, due to Death Watch’s cruel ways towards non-human species and Myre’s odd behavior as a child (i basically completely retconned what little info there is on Kiffar and made them a chimera species of my own terrible delight) made it easy for Gadsden to decide to train them as a brutal Death Watch gladiator instead as one of his own.
For many years, Myre trained as a traditional Mandalorian fighter, winning contests and playing a large hand in Death Watch’s terrorism. Myre took on the stage name Me'suum'ika Adiik (which means Moon Child in Mando’a) and that quickly became a name many members of Death Watch came to respect and fear.
As the years passed, Myre became more curious about their alien heritage which had never been explained. Due to trauma and overall neglect of Myre’s true culture, they never retained any information of their homeworld. After a series of devastating events they learned about their abduction and tried to revolt.
After Myre’s “outburst”, Gadsden decided to leave Death Watch and settle down on Lothal for the rest of his days. Luckily for Myre, Gadsden had a bounty on his head. Gadsden was killed with the help of Myre and a mysterious man nicknamed Lélek on 24 BBY.
~
That’s the jist of Myre’s backstory! There’s a lot more detail to add but I wanted to keep it as short as I could and even then it ran long.
If you want more details feel free to hit my asks! It’s easier to answer them there and I get to put the information on the blog. Thanks!
When the party wakes, they are in front of a very ancient Jedi temple on the North Pole of Lothal.
Lelek, familiar with these images, retells the tale of the force beings.
The gang decides to rest for the night and deal with the temple in the morning.
In the morning, Myre uses their psychometry to read the temple and its memories. They tell the party that a master and an apprentice is needed to open the temple.
