Had the pleasure to draw ✴︎@dairyfreenugget✴︎ for this famly portrait of the Pale King and his Knight! This one is one of its kind, I haven't worked with funds in a while and the results left me satisfied. It's full of detail and yet so fun to handle

"One of the many Lambs who plant saint orchids across Earthbread, Jelly Coral Cookie is a humble gardener who cultivates all sorts of vegetation and fungi for the cult. She only cares about two things: the ideology of the Lambs and her plants. 

Some say that she only joined the Lambs of Penance because of her fascination with the Saint Orchids… Nevertheless, she serves Penance loyally, and happily tends to the orchids while joyously awaiting the day of her purification.

Please tread carefully though; the coral in her dough is not that of the Sea but of mycelium, and she grows many things besides orchids. You won’t realize just how many different types of plants and fungi can leave a Cookie temporarily immobilized until you meet Jelly Coral Cookie. . ."

Extra Notes:

Specifically based on Sebacina sparassoidea (white coral jelly fungus).

However, she is broadly based on orchid mycorrhiza, which is typically a symbiotic relationship between orchids and fungi wherein the fungi help the orchid get nutrients. Although sometimes this relationship can be parasitic.

She has helped many Cookievorous Plants thrive since they were but mere seedlings, and in return for her generosity they are immensely loyal and protective of her. Despite this, she largely leaves them to their own devices, simply requesting that they protect the saint orchids in their territories from being destroyed, and to not harm any Lambs.

That said, there are 3 of these cookie-eaters who are never far from her. They usually help guide her when she’s in unfamiliar terrain and make sure no one interferes with her gardening.

She is a Penitent Acolyte, but she generally avoids wearing the official robes since she doesn’t want to get them dirty from gardening. However, she will wear them if asked to, though she can’t fit her hair into the hood unless she cuts it…

While she is clean in her reference art, Jelly Coral usually has a few dirt stains on her.

Has the WORST labeling system for her herbs—or at least that’s what everyone keeps telling her when they see the monstrosity, but she can find everything just fine.

Personality-wise she’s a bit socially awkward, but very passionate about gardening and keeping her fellow lambs safe (until they can be purified, that is).

Finally got around to posting this lil' weirdo. I like to call her my discount Poison Ivy /pos.

Originally these two were used as my Minecraft skins when I played, now they're fully fledged ocs! :D

Kim and Carson have been friends for the longest time, they met just after Kim was attacked by pillagers and lost her arm. Carson took her in, healed her and built her a new arm and they've been best friends ever since.

Kim is 23, and loves adventure. She's always on the move, exploring whatever the overworld has to offer, wether that be shipwrecks, desert temples, or just a village she hasn't seen yet. Due to this, she lives sort of nomadic life, sure she'll stop by a village or two for a rest and to gather better gear, but she'll never visit the same place twice. Unless it's Carson's place, as he's the one who gives her arm tune ups when it receives damages. She also just stops by his house to hang out or geek about anything cool she found during her trips, hoping to drag him along with her.

Kim absolutely LOVES treasure maps, but not just for the treasure. She loves the historical side of old dilapidated buildings and what they can teach us now. 

Carson is 25, a self classified "master red stone engineer" and loves exploring cave systems with Sam, his pet slime. He knows his way around mobs but is not much of a fighter, usually finding a way to sneak around them or outsmarting them in some way. Sam helps with this as he can look out for any incoming threats and warn Carson with a gurgle or wiggle.

He absolutely LOVES riding minecarts, his favorite thing to do in caves is finding abandoned mine shafts and seeing where the track takes him. Sometimes he drags Kim along too, but she doesn't really share his enthusiasm for near death minecart rides.

Since I did one for my first farmer, I obviously had to do one for my second. We don’t play favorites in this house (except we totally do, I love her sm)

Her name is Jeannie, and she’s a half vampire on her dad’s side. Other than her appearance, vampirism hasn’t really affected her life that much, she just has to deal with a mild garlic allergy and getting sunburnt real easy. She also ages a tad slower than a normal person, but she does still age
