Let me do a countdown to the ending of contact marriage of Arnav & khushi and let's see what happended to the completion of 6 months aka midnight of 13th August. It's just for fun as the show didn't clearly stated the ending of famous(infamous) six months. I also count the sweet things he did for her.

(Arnav and khushi got married on 14th February. As Arnav realized the reason of khushi's leaving shantivan and he vowed to win khushi in 12 days, I will start the countdown from 12.)

12 days to go to end their marriage contact aka 1st day of Arnav trying to win khushi (aka 2nd August)

Arnav took care of her when injured and offered to do household cores.

he also in his arnav-language told her he remembered everything about her and she is beautiful. he also tried to seduce her.

At the end of the day, he put khushi to bed, clean up her mess and fall asleep with her with his hand under her cheek.

11 days to go to end their marriage contact aka 2nd day of Arnav trying to win his wife (aka 3rd August).

Arnav woke up with khushi entangled together the next morning and Khushi got to know holding her hand during sleep had become his habit and told her to go to sleep for the remaining few hours.

He informed dadi that he and his wife were a packaged deal. she could't have one without the other.

And I like to think that it was before midnight when he shared his trauma with her and be vulnerable. Giving her the haq to support him in his rainy days.

Countdown had somehow stopped for them, after they made an emotional connection. Some normalcy seeped through their life.Arnav flirted with his wife in the stairs and she welcomed it wholeheartedly.

He also indulged his wife to a fun chase and end up breaking their bed.But he messed up the development with the suggestion of a suhag rat, that he intended to happen the next day.

Top 10 Comfort Films

Dillagi (1999) - Starring my beloved Deols and loveliest Urmila. This film has it all - action, romance, drama, angst - with a sweet family in the middle of it. Zohra Sehgal's character was the cutest.

Yes Boss (1997) - My childhood favorite film starring my absolute favorites (and parents). I've watched this so many times I've lost count. Seema & Rahul were flawed yet good people stuck in bad situations whom you rooted for. SRK & Juhi had flawless chemistry as always. The soundtrack is forever iconic.

Jab We Met (2007) - In my opinion, as close to perfect as a film can get. Still feels fresh after all these years and I can never get tired of watching it.

Just Married (2007) - If this film only has one fan, it's me. I think it's a realistic portrayal of a couple who had an arranged marriage and how they get used to each other. Fardeen & Esha were really sweet and loveable. I also liked the other couples and how all the characters interacted with each other. If I skim this film, I end up watching the whole thing lol.

Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017) - One of my absolute favorites. I can never get tired of it. Iconic. Legendary. I always notice something new with every rewatch. Amarendra & Devasena are the pinnacle of romance, period.

Duplicate (1998) - Another all time family favorite. This film gave us himbo AND fuckboy SRK, it needs to be appreciated more. Also the most gorgeous ladies, Juhi & Sonali along with the loveable Farida Jalal. Awesome soundtrack and great chemistry between my parents. My sister & I can quote this film by heart and Juhi's comedic scenes are iconic.

Hum Aapke Hain Koun (1994) - I've watched this film so many times in my childhood. I loved Madhuri & Salman's cute, playful chemistry. Renuka Shahane was adorable and it's always nice seeing Mohnish Bahl not playing a villain for once. I'm a sucker for sappy family centric dramas.

Seventeen Again (2000) - I've been a huge fan of the Mowrys since childhood and this film is super fun with a great (sadly unreleased) soundtrack.

The Lizzie McGuire Movie (2003) - This film is so iconic and I can never get tired of it. It brings me back to my middle school days. I definitely prefer it over the show, tbh. Paolo was cute, idc what anyone says!

Dosti: Friends Forever (2005) - THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES. I just want to give a shoutout to Bobby’s stylist because I was living for his colorful, tacky shirts. Him & Akshay had great chemistry and you can truly see how much they loved each other and how strong their bond was. My favorites Kareena & Juhi are in this as well and the soundtrack is super nostalgic for me.

What’s he doing next? That has been the question on the minds of Salman Khan’s fans, and many filmmakers who had pitched their projects to him. The superstar, however, was taking it slow, reassessing his choice of movies after the underwhelming run of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Reports suggested that he wasn’t gung-ho about the offers coming his way, barring Karan Johar’s production and Sooraj Barjatya’s Prem Ki Shaadi (Being choosy, June 21). But now, the actor has made up his mind. We hear Khan and his filmmaker-friend Barjatya will take the family drama on floors next month.  The superstar had loved the concept when it was narrated to him in 2020. While the two were writing it during the lockdown, they sped up the process in the past few months. A trade source reveals, “Romantic dramas, set in a family, are a success at the box-office today, as seen with Zara Hatke Zara Bachke and Satyaprem Ki Katha. Salman is fond of such stories, which is why he had immediately given his nod to Prem Ki Shaadi. However, finalising the screenplay took time. The team began pre-production last month, setting the stage for an August shoot.”

Prem Ki Shaadi, which marks the duo’s fifth collaboration, revolves around a nuclear family. The leading lady will be finalised in the coming weeks. “It tells the journey of a couple, starting from their marriage, to raising their children and going strong till their old age. The first schedule will kick off on a set in Mumbai.” The team is eyeing a Diwali 2024 release.
