I don't know if you take any gif requests or not but here I am with some requests. It's not necessary for you to fulfill though.
The requests are if arshi and asya parallel scenes (as well as Asad and Arnav) I feel Zoya and Khushi would've been bestest friends if they ever had met.
• Zoya and Khushi love for food (pizza and jalebi) - fun fact both Surbhi and Sanaya hated pizza and jalebi in real life
• Asad and Arnav both share similar trauma caused by their father. to Arnav, his mother unalived herself due to his father while Asad's father practically left his mother to start a new life with some other woman
• Asad and Arnav making pizza and jalebi respectively
• Khushi and Zoya being biggest Salman Khan fan (Khushi's was shown while Zoya's fangirling wasn't) - but we have Arnav and Asad dancing on Salman Khan songs to make their women happy
• rain breakdown scene of both Asad and Arnav
And a lot more. I honestly live for any ipkknd and qubool hai 1 crossover. If you are willing to make gifs then I can provide you with qh episode numbers.
Hey, thank you for liking my gifs <3
However, I don't really like QH nor did I ever watch it so I won't be able to make these parallels :) However, I do know a lot of people who watched IPK and loved QH too - here is a link of a parallel gifset.
Best,
Jalebi

The Heartbeat of Indian Cinema: A Deep Dive into Bollywood’s Cultural Impact

Bollywood, the largest film industry in the world, is more than just a hub for movies. It’s a cultural powerhouse that has influenced India’s society, values, and traditions for over a century. While its reach extends beyond the borders of India, Bollywood holds a special place in the hearts of millions within the country. The term ‘Bollywood’ itself often brings to mind vibrant dance numbers, romantic plots, and the bright lights of the silver screen.
The Evolution of Bollywood
Bollywood’s journey is a reflection of India's own evolution of desicinema. The industry began in the 1910s with silent films like Raja Harishchandra, directed by Dadasaheb Phalke. However, it wasn’t until the 1950s, the so-called Golden Age, that Bollywood started to solidify its position as the beating heart of Indian cinema. Directors like Guru Dutt and Raj Kapoor, along with stars such as Nargis and Dev Anand, explored themes of love, tragedy, and social issues. This era’s films were deeply rooted in Indian culture, addressing matters such as familial bonds, poverty, and social norms.
The 1980s and 1990s witnessed the rise of a more commercialized Bollywood, with the emergence of megastars like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan. Action-packed thrillers and family-centric melodramas became the go-to formulas. The appeal was universal—offering escapism, romance, and larger-than-life entertainment to audiences.
In the 21st century, Bollywood has continued to innovate and evolve. The rise of independent cinema has seen filmmakers take on more nuanced, experimental, and socially conscious subjects.
Cultural Representation and Diversity
One of Bollywood’s most significant impacts is its representation of Indian culture. Bollywood films reflect the rich diversity of the country’s traditions, customs, languages, and religions. While Hindi is the predominant language, Bollywood films often include references to regional languages, making them accessible to a wider audience. The films highlight celebrations like Diwali, Eid, Durga Puja, and other festivals that are central to Indian life. Bollywood has long been a platform for showcasing India’s multi-religious and multi-ethnic society, depicting the complexities of caste, family, and regional identity.
Bollywood also plays a significant role in desicinemas perceptions of women. Though the early portrayals of women were often stereotypical, the portrayal of women in Indian cinema has undergone a sea change. Actresses such as Madhuri Dixit, Rekha, and later Deepika Padukone and Vidya Balan have become symbols of both grace and strength, taking on roles that defy traditional norms.
Bollywood's Global Influence
Bollywood’s influence is not confined to India. The global popularity of Indian films has helped spread Indian culture far and wide. Films such as Lagaan, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, and 3 Idiots have won the hearts of international audiences. Bollywood has become an essential part of South Asian communities, from the United States and the United Kingdom to countries in the Middle East and Africa.
The global recognition of Bollywood’s actors has been equally impressive. Actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, and Aishwarya Rai have gained international acclaim, often starring in Hollywood projects. This has further bridged the gap between Eastern and Western cultures, with Bollywood-inspired fashion, music, and storytelling styles now seeping into Western media.
Conclusion
Bollywood is more than just an entertainment industry—it is a window into the diverse and dynamic culture of India. It is an evolving art form that reflects the changing social, political, and economic realities of the country. As the industry continues to globalize, Bollywood’s influence will only grow, continuing to shape how people around the world understand India and its rich cultural tapestry.

Few filmmakers have shaped Bollywood quite like Sooraj Barjatya. His name is synonymous with heartwarming family dramas, grand weddings, and characters who feel like long-lost relatives. With a career spanning decades, Barjatya has given audiences some of the most memorable films that celebrate love, tradition, and familial bonds. On the birthday of Sooraj Barjatya, let’s take a trip down memory lane and revisit the films that made him a legend. Whether you are reliving nostalgia or discovering these classics for the first time, there is no better way to celebrate than by streaming his best works on ZEE5 Global. Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! – The Wedding That Started It All Before Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! (1994), weddings were just another scene in Bollywood movies. After this film, weddings became the storyline. Featuring Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit, this film redefined the grand Bollywood wedding with its colorful celebrations and iconic songs. Even today, no Indian wedding playlist is complete without ‘Didi Tera Devar Deewana’. This film set the gold standard for cinematic wedding extravaganzas. Hum Saath Saath Hain – Family Over Everything If Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! was about weddings, Hum Saath Saath Hain (1999) was about staying together. Featuring an ensemble cast, including Saif Ali Khan, Karisma Kapoor, and Tabu, this film reinforced the idea that family bonds are worth fighting for. From ‘Maiyya Yashoda’ becoming a Navratri anthem to the film’s message of unconditional love, this one remains a Sunday-afternoon classic. Vivah – Love in Its Purest Form At a time when Bollywood was obsessed with fiery romance, Vivah (2006) took a different route. Starring Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao, this film focused on a love that grew through patience and understanding rather than grand gestures. It is proof that romance does not always need drama—sometimes, love is just standing by someone when life takes an unexpected turn. Uunchai – A Journey Beyond Weddings and Family Feuds Uunchai (2022) marked a departure from Barjatya’s usual themes, trading wedding celebrations for a heartfelt story about aging, friendship, and resilience. Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, and Boman Irani, this film proved that Barjatya could evolve while staying true to his emotional storytelling. It is not about romance or family drama—it is about friendship and the human spirit. Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon – Not Your Usual Love Story Not every Barjatya film is a smooth love story. Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon (2003) takes romance into the world of mistaken identities and emotional dilemmas. Featuring Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor, and Abhishek Bachchan, this film is a roller-coaster of emotions. Sometimes, love is not just about attraction—it is about choosing the person who truly understands you. Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi – When Love Means Sacrifice This hidden gem, Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi (2008), is about love that does not come easy. Starring Sonu Sood and Isha Koppikar, the story follows a couple separated by responsibility. It is a reminder that love sometimes means waiting, sacrificing, and choosing duty over personal happiness. Sooraj Barjatya’s Legacy in Bollywood Sooraj Barjatya is more than just a director—he is a storyteller who has shaped how Bollywood portrays love, family, and relationships. His films are a mix of tradition and emotion, reminding us why we cherish these stories across generations. His movies are not just about weddings, romance, or family—they are about the emotions that tie us all together. So, what better way to celebrate his birthday than to revisit his timeless classics? Stream his best films now on ZEE5 Global and experience the magic of Bollywood’s ultimate storyteller.

JUSTIFYING CHEATING IN MANY ROMCOMS AND SITCOMS...(part-2)
I am going to talk about more movies and series that justify cheating by giving the lead a happy ending.
In a movie called 'WORLD FAMOUS LOVER' one of the character in the male lead's novel falls in love with his boss outside his marriage as she is a village girl who in the end clears the IAS exam and after knowing that he comes back to her and there is a happy ending which is wrong as he keeps taunting and touchering her daily that she is not beautiful because she is not morden enough and while getting close to his boss doesn't tell her that he is already married. HIDING THE TRUTH IS WRONG TOO!
There are many 'OLD BALAKRISHNA MOVIES' where he objectifies and two times with his female leads which is called justification too as he has cult fans after all that till date and is even a politician.
In female lead movies like 'GHERAIYAN' the female lead and the male lead both cheat on their partners, he tries to kill her because he doesn't want this affair of theirs out when she in self defence killes him but in the end she doesn't get punished for her crime and her affair doesn't come out either so that is a happy ending which justifies cheating too which is not right. LIEING WITHIN HER FAMILY!
The comedy movies of 'GOVINDA, SALMAN KHAN and DAVID DHAVAN' like 'BIWI NO 1, MAINE PAYAR KYU KIYA, NO ENTRY, MASTI and it's sequels'...in all these movies the wife is pitted against the new woman but the husband is not told anything. He just acts as if he is guilty by saying few emotional dialogues in the end when the wife accepts him and everything is happily ever after for the couple as sometimes the married couple lives happily together when the other woman is shown as the villain or sometimes three of them or in movies like 'KIS KIS KO PAYAR KARU' the husband, his three wives and his girlfriend all of them live happily ever after, HOW UNFAIR THIS IS! Such movies in the name of comedy have their main plot as cheating so they make people laugh and promote cheating at the same time and add dialogues in them where the husband shouts or sometimes slaps the wife after cheating, if she asks, 'WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF I WOULD BE WITH ANOTHER MAN LIKE YOU WERE WITH HER?' because of this question I remember 'ANIMAL' where the male lead in the name of getting information out from another women sleeps with her, makes her fall in love with him, objectifies her, disrespects her by making her lick his shoes, cheating on his wife under the cover up of getting information which he can get by interrogating her or the other characters of the movie for sure. Here the wife fights with him but it's shown that he asked for forgiveness and she is okay, they live together and later when she finally leaves him in the end their children run back to him which shows the wife as the villain as she is separating the family which is not at all done. SHE CHOOSING HER SELF RESPECT IS SHOWN IN A VERY WRONG WAY! in this movie. He disrespected both the women.
You know I just feel cheating, two timing, hiding the truth, objectifying all these also should be considered as crimes and should have constitutional punishments for that. I really want this to happen and punishments to not be gender baised.

[ad_1] Washington Sundar. Image: BCCI Do you remember Salman Khan as ‘Aman’ in Karan Johar’s iconic film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai?’ Salman was the quintessential charming lover boy. He makes a grand entry with song and dance and is all set to marry Anjali (Kajol). Anjali likes him too and things go according to plan until Rahul (Shah Rukh Khan) makes a re entry in Anjali’s life. Anjali is confused and torn. Tears are shed and hearts are broken before the inevitable happens. Anjali goes back to her first love and all Aman can do is let go and offer a smile standing in the background. Now, why did I tell you this story? Because Washington Sundar is the ‘Aman’ of the Indian Cricket Team. Imagine this, he last played in a test in 2021. He delivered with both bat and ball against Australia in the final test at Brisbane that saw India breach the fortress and clinch the historic Border Gavaskar Trophy series. Washington and Shardul Thakur formed a partnership for the ages. However, ‘Aman’ was soon forgotten. With the test regulars Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin deservingly coming back in the first XI and Axar Patel rising fast through the ranks, Sundar had to step back. He was written off for the next three years. Washi wasn’t even a regular in the IPL set up. The teams picked him and soon realised ‘Aman’ was the easiest to bench. Injuries didn’t help Sundar either. Three years passed and all of a sudden ‘Aman’ was invited to be Anjali’s suitor again. India slumped to a big loss against New Zealand in the first Test of the three-match Test series. Panic button was pressed, a turner was prepared in Pune, and Washington was not only called back but immediately inducted into the playing XI. ‘Aman’ did not disappoint, picking up 13 wickets in the match. Such was his impact that he bowled way more overs than Jadeja in both the innings. Not only with the ball, he looked equally good with the bat. The team management backed him and subsequently he was promoted to No. 6 in the second innings ahead of Sarfraz Khan and Jadeja. The scoreboard might not show great returns but for us who watched the game, he looked in complete control on the turner till he was at the crease. He came good in the third Test at Mumbai too, where the team management decided to prepare another turner. The fact he was more effective than India’s leading spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, saw him make a cut in the playing XI for the first Test against Australia in the Border Gavaskar Trophy immediately after that series. Scores of 4 and 21 with the bat with only two wickets to show in the second innings didn’t help his cause. Ashwin returned for the day-night Test against Adelaide. For the Latest Sports News: Click Here Washington Sundar at the press conference (Source: RevSportz) Then came the shocking retirement announcement of Ashwin after the third Test at Brisbane. Poor performances by the Indian batting order saw Washington come back for the last two Tests. Captain Rohit Sharma came up with the ‘extra bowling cushion’ logic when asked about playing two all-rounders in Nitish Reddy and Washington Sundar. However Washington wasn’t trusted with the ball at all in any of those Tests. He bowled a total of only 20 overs over the next two Tests. The Boxing Day Test saw Washington grind it out with the bat against a relentless Aussie bowling attack. Nitish and Washington, the two so-called ‘extra bowling cushion’, not only took India to a respectable total, but also formed a crucial partnership of 127 runs at no 8. The team management rewarded ‘Aman’ and picked him for the 5-match T20I series against England. Here ‘Aman’ was back to his best when it came to receding in the background. Ineffective with both bat and ball, he was picked and dropped and dropped and picked. The team selections were sometimes too experimental, as a result of which Washington was unsure of his role. With the spinners Varun Chakravarthy and Ravi Bishnoi doing the job for India, Washington was used in patches.
The England batters took a liking to him, desperately trying to break the shackles. His bowling figures were dented and he was dismissed trying to swing his blade. But India still needs ‘Aman’ for the climax scene. So, Washington was picked in the Champions Trophy squad. With Varun putting in exceptional performances, it’sonly fair that he gets a look in the playing XI in one of the matches against England. So, what are the options you are looking at? Shami and Arshdeep are sure starters. That leaves you with two more bowling slots, preferably spinners, with Hardik Pandya performing the third seamer’s role. Head coach Gautam Gambhir has an obsession with all-rounders and it’s almost certain that Axar Patel will play at No. 8. Who plays as the other spinner? Varun or Kuldeep Yadav. So, there’s a clear toss up between Axar and ‘Aman’ now. Yes, Axar and Jadeja are like-for-like all-rounders but will you drop somebody who is a potential captaincy candidate in limited-overs cricket for your team? I doubt, maybe the team management doubts too. Life has not been fair to you ‘Aman.’ We hope you will grab your chances as and when they come. We know you will give it your all because another ‘Aman’ said –‘Kya paata, kal ho na ho!’ Also Read: Both Rohit and Kohli can make an impact in the format that suits them best The post Washington Sundar – The ‘Aman’ Of Indian Cricket Team appeared first on Sports News Portal | Latest Sports Articles | Revsports. “the family that eats together, stays together.” – Ramkishen Chaturvedi
a rich businessman, Ramkishen Chaturvedi (Alok Nath) and his wife, Mamta (Reema Lagoo) live happily in a big joint family with their three sons, Vivek (Mohnish Bahl), Prem (Salman Khan), and Vinod (Saif Ali Khan), and their married daughter Sangeeta (Neelam). family harmony is shaken when Mamta’s insecurities arise, triggered by an incident in Sangeeta’s in-laws’ home. misunderstandings arise, threatening to separate the siblings.
read my review below (may contain spoilers):
rewatched December 8th, 2024 on netflix
feels less like watching a movie and more like attending a grand family gathering. from the very first scene, it’s warm, colourful, and full of love. the characters laugh together, eat together, sing together, and dance together, making everything feel lively and joyful. I felt like I was part of this big family, and I was swept into their world of love and unity. the best part of this movie is the way it shows family life. everyone is ridiculously kind, well-mannered, and cheerful. it’s almost like a fantasy where people break into choreographed dances at the drop of a hat, and no one ever seems to run out of energy or happiness. as unrealistic as it is, it’s a lovely escape from reality. it made me wish life could be that simple and harmonious. the iconic road trip scene, where they sing "ABCD… I Love You," really brought back childhood memories for me. I remember asking my dad to buy a mini bus for our family after watching that scene. of course, it never happened ahaha, but this movie made me dream of travelling together as a family, laughing and singing along the way. for a moment, I forgot all the drama and just enjoyed the innocence and fun of this big family.
of course, there’s drama in the movie too. not everyone likes seeing others happy, so there are people who try to create problems. the twist about Vivek being a step-son and the way Mamta’s insecurities create misunderstandings are emotional to watch. even though it’s sad, it’s also heartwarming to see how the brothers’ love for each other stays strong. it’s the kind of emotional journey that makes me smile through my tears. Sapna, played by Karisma Kapoor, is such a standout character. she’s so lively, fun, and mischievous, always bringing a smile to everyone’s face. her chemistry with Vinod (Saif Ali Khan) is adorable and adds a lot of charm to the movie. lastly, Hum Saath Saath Hain might be unrealistic and overly dramatic, but it’s also incredibly heartwarming. it makes me feel like the world is good and people are kind, even if only for three hours. it’s not just about the plot; it’s about the feelings it gives me. watching this movie is like wrapping myself in a warm blanket of love, laughter, and togetherness.
final verdict: I totally loved it!!
