my lil sister collected all the toys her cats don't play with in a canister and gave them to me in case salem would like them, so i let him explore the canister's contents and pick out anything he liked. as you can see he immediately went for a blue plastic ball and has been playing with it ever since, either on his own or with me in a game of fetch 🥺

i’ve been wasting my time loving other people more than i love myself. it’s always been that my love isn’t received in a way that comes back to me how i need it. i’m so tired of pushing for something that hasn’t ever been within my grasp. i keep praying the people i allow to hurt me will see that my pain is avoidable and could be utilized as a facet for communal growth… but my prayers are unanswered. all i feel is pain, disappointment, and exhaustion. my freak gets exceeded by people that can’t practice self reflection. i’m made into the monster we all have inside us. i don’t see how the shared demons we all have are more evil when i present them. i don’t understand how i try so hard, i sit down, i shut up, i take it like a good girl. i beg for more and i’m met with nothing but pain. isn’t there supposed to be more balance. the struggle with less suffering? why can’t my suffering be intentional? why can’t it be grounding? why do i keep letting the same bad behaviored dog bite me when i’m just a puppy. my submission does nothing for either of our dogs. i might not be able to fight back for much longer and i refuse to submit. i refuse to hurt how i’ve always hurt. i will not fall into one sided codependency that leads to my insanity. i will simply die about it bc i’m not waiting to know love anymore. i’m not practicing patience for much longer. i need a return. i need to grip onto what i’ve been wanting to grasp for my whole consciousness before i let go. i’m tired of wasting my own time, effort, and energy.
