Today was quite busy, but I did manage to finish the 1979 Salem's Lot in preparation to watch the brand new version now streaming on Max! I didn't like the old one as much as I remembered. It feels like there are a lot of loose ends in spite of the three-hour run time, and some characters' development feels rushed . . . in spite of the three-hour run time! Let's see what Max can do in just two, hopefully tomorrow.
