Infodump about Salem please!!

Salem is a errormare ship kid I made due to wanting to see more female ship children for the Sanses. In most of her lore, she’s ten years old and doted on by her parents.

She came to be after Error and Nightmare had been trying to combine their magic to carry a souling (no sexual stuff was involved) but kept failing. Either that, or the souling that did form would fizzle out. After this, they badly and separated, only to find out a couple months later that Error successfully carried a souling in his soul without knowing through the hardest term. They realized this was because the being needed to feed off of misery, and so, it was able to feed off Error’s grief and pain from breaking up with Nightmare to get strong enough to grow on its own.

Bc of this, Salem will always be an only child as she came to be in very specific circumstances.

Some fun facts about her

-She’s the sweeties little girl you will meet!

-she has no clue what the gang or her fathers do for work. She thinks Horror is a Chef, Dust a scientist, Cross a castle guard, nightmare a therapist, Error a spinster, and Killer is unemployed LMAO.

-the gang are her older brothers and adore her. She loves playing nurse when they get back from missions and assume they just had bad days at work individually.

-when she gets older, she becomes the gang’s personal healer

-she is not allowed to leave the castle due to her possibly getting ill because of the positivity in other aus, and she hates this deeply.

-to make her more inclined to stay, Error fixed uo the outside atmosphere to be more pretty and adds new things every week so she stays entertained.

-Nightmare picks out her clothing for her, so she dresses very regal despite being very hyperactive

-she gives all the gang members cheek kisses before bed and will cry if she’s unable to find all of them in time. Even on their worst days, they let her in their room so she can kiss their cheeks while they rot on their beds. Unbeknownst to her, this actually helps take a zap of negativity from them, so it soothes them enough for the night even if they’ve had horrid hallucinations and anxiety all day. When they realize this, they all begin looking for her as well

-as she gets older, she becomes more embarrassed by it, especially since they tease her, but when she overhears Killer telling Nightmare about why it helps, she keeps doing it with no fuss, even when she’s a teenager

out of all the jjk men, actor!nanami would be the most inclined to protect your relationship's privacy because he actually knows how easy it is for the publicity to get to people. some people, like actor!gojo, are fine with having public relationships, but nanami would only ever do that if he was locked in with his partner. i mean like either you two are already engaged or you will be soon, because if it ends badly, the media would ruin the two of you for no good reason besides the drama.

but when you two finally go public, everyone's more than surprised because this is likely the first time nanami's been open about his love life. that's how people know it's serious, and his fans all take great pride in him being the least problematic man in hollywood—and the biggest green flag.

Hi! Salem and Bee would def get along! However, for both of their healths, they can never meet,

Salem is a mix of destruction magic and negativity magic. Though that doesn’t make her a bad person, she still has a strong negative aura that those not affected by negativity magic or are already swallowed in negativity are the only ones immune.

Bee thrives off of positivity due to her lack of soul. If she was around Salem, her aura would be enough to make Bee go limp and turn into a puppet like corpse. She wouldn’t be dead, as she’s immortal, but she’d behave like Ink when he’s out of vials: an unmoving corpse who needs positivity to reawaken. Salem herself would be hurt by the sheer amount of positivity Bee would possess before hee flames would go out, so they have to be separated for safety reasons.

So they have a long distance friendship as teens instead! They text a LOT and when they ARE forced into proximity, having their parents nearby that they can hold onto if they start to fade helps stabilize them. Due to Dream and Nightmare’s beef, tho, this doesn’t happen much.
