桜上水「あぶら〜亭」で、チャーシューあぶら〜めん＋半チャーハンセット1300円。 喧しい店。客は大して入ってなかったけど、ひどい音響で、安っぽい流行り唄が、大音量でかかってて喧しい。 店員は外人さん？以前は、体育会系っぽい男子ばっかだったけど、昼間は外人さんなのかも。 店内にアメフトのポスターが貼ってあった。そう言えば、日大アメフトの近所。あとインディー系映画のポスターとか。 隣に若い女子客。 あぶらーめんを、チャーシュー抜き＋あげにんにく＋あげネギトッピングで注文してた。 通ですなあ。 Char siu Abura-men + half fried rice set for 1,300 yen at Abura-tei in Sakurajosui. It was a noisy place. There weren't many customers, but the sound was horrible, with cheesy popular songs playing loudly. The waitress was a foreigner? They used to be all gymnastic guys, but maybe they work at night and the daytime workers are foreigners. There was a poster of a football game on the wall. Come to think of it, this is the neighborhood of the Nihon University football team. There were also posters of indie movies. There was a young female customer next to me. She ordered abura-men without char siu (pork) and topped with fried garlic and spring onions. She's a connoisseur. It's true that this stringy lump of boiled pork is a nuisance. It's not even tasty. But I thought to myself, "If that's the case, why don't I just buy boiled Chinese noodles at the supermarket, boil them, fry them with garlic and chopped green onions with a little more oil, and dress them? ＋ And then... Oh... I remember now. I remembered that the "Abura-men" here means "You can make it at home. If you make it at home, it won't cost you 300 yen. It's a product with a strong "it tastes better if I make it at home" feeling. How can they sell such a bad product and charge money for it?
