HELLO SPRING, KAWAII DREAM (Hello Kitty-inspired art)

Created as an ode to the stunning Hoshinoya Onsen, Matsuo Bashu's spring haiku poetry and the 2006 theatrical version of SAKURAN, "Hello Spring, Kawaii Dream" (originally titled "Hello Onsen, Kitty Garden", 2015) is another well-loved Hello Kitty-inspired artwork by Sean Danconia, created as a semi-sequel to "Memoirs of a Kitty". The original Mixed-Media canvas painting (pictured here) was created in a combination of acrylic paint, photography, illustration, graphic design, archival ink, etc. It had its premiere at Blooming Art Gallery, situated in Japanese Village Plaza.

The new "Kawaii-Cut" version of the art, now titled "Hello Spring, Kawaii Dream" features a beautiful Haiku by Matsuo Basho located at the bottom right hand corner along with honorable mention of the onsen and resort in Kyoto which inspired the piece. Aun me preguntan como mandar una confesión. No es de sentirse avergonzados. Nunca lo expliqué en el frente del blog o dónde fuera obvio de ver. Como una Publicación fijada.

Es bastante simple.

Pueden ocupar el inbox. (Donde dice "Ask me anything")

Pueden mandar un Mensaje. Tengan en mente que yo sabré quienes son, pero nadie más. Solo en caso que quieran mantenerse anónimos conmigo también.

Hay una opción de "Submit a post" (Colaboraciones) también. Nadia la ha usado aun, pero si quieren, esta ahí. De ser honestos, nunca que he recibido un Submit post. Pero sí se que el Admin puede decidir si lo publica. Pueden estar en anónimo, no lo sé?

Para como escribir su confesión. Solo escriban lo que quieran. Manden la confesión como si me estuvieran hablando directamente a mi. Solo que en vez de que yo responda, lo publico en un blog público para que todos lo vean y juzguen.

Todas las confesiones son anónimas, aunque se olviden/decidan no esconder el usuario.

Como responder a una publicación

Primero, unas cuantas reglas:

Por favor den el link a la confesión a la que estan respondiendo. (o al menos digan cual confesión es)

La opción de responder es para dar una opinión (de acuerdo/en desacuerdo) sin que tengan que sean acosados en sus blogs personales

No es para que puedan acosar a otros anonónimamente.

Pueden ser groseros. No pueden ocupar lenguaje ofensivo (slurs) y otro comportamiento similar

Si tienen un comentatrio simple que no aporta mucho, por favor usen las notas directamente en la confesión. La opción de responder es para comentarios más elaborados. Simplemente decir “Estoy de acuerdo/en desacuerdo”, “te equivocas anon”, etc. no va a ser publicado.

No se desvíen del tema de la confesión. Respuestas que no tengan nada que ver o aquellas que acusan a OP (quien mando la confesión original) de ser un anti por su otp, cuando nunca lo mencionaron. (Ej. Un confesión anti NH debe ser pro NS o un anti SS debe ser pro SK). Tal vez pueda ser cierto, pero si no tiene nada que ver con la confesión, no lo incluyan en su respuesta.

Esto incluye hipocresía. Si una confesión, por ejemplo, es anti NS con Sakura pegandole a Naruto, no respondan con “y que hay sobre SS o SuiKai?” (pero sí pueden escribir eso en las notas)

Sí pueden basar una confesión en otro previa o en alguna respuesta a ellas.

Por favor traten de no repetir lo que ya dijeron los demás. Solo respuestas nuevas van a ser publicadas.

Si estan teniendo un debate- esta bien. Pero si no esta llegando a ningún lado, van a tener que dejarlo

His students are precious to him, after all. It didn’t help that she plead to him with the most adorable puppy-dog eyes. “These damn kids,” he thought, sighing deeply before giving her the ok to tag along with Megumi. She raised her fist with excitement—this was her first experience with a grade 1 curse. Gojo placed a hand on Fushiguro’s shoulder and leaned in close to his ear.

“Keep an eye on her, yeah?” he whispers. “She’s strong, but she’s also reckless. Reminds me a lot of a certain sakura-haired boy.”

“Oh, I’m not worried at all!” Gojo exclaims, clapping his hands together. “You’re my most talented student. Think of it as both a learning and a teaching opportunity!”

“Isn’t that your job…” Fushiguro thinks, letting out an exasperated sigh.

Which lead to her current state: beaten and unconscious in the recovery wing of Jujutsu Tech.

She had indeed been reckless. Eagerly jumping into the fight without taking a moment to analyze the curse’s technique thoroughly. She vastly underestimated its strength and speed, taking multiple hits from the curse within seconds. So fast that she didn’t even have time to gather her cursed energy to shield herself. Nue barely made it in time to snatch her up before the curse landed a fatal blow.

It wasn’t long after Nue flew her to safety that Demon Dog Black and Orochi tore the curse to pieces. Megumi personally dealt the final strike to the curse’s head with his bare hands.

Fushiguro wouldn’t leave her side, not even as Shoko healed her.

“Fushiguro, you’re pretty beaten up yourse—” Shoko began, but Megumi interrupted her.

“I’m fine. Focus on her.” He clipped, staring blankly at her mangled body.

Shoko made quick work of healing her. She had a few broken bones, but nothing that Ieri’s reverse curse technique couldn’t fix. She imbued the last of her cursed energy into sealing the various lacerations and bruises that littered her skin. Shoko was meticulous, closing the wounds with such precision that there wouldn’t be a single scar on her body. It took more energy than usual, causing her to stumble backwards a step before catching herself. The throbbing pain in her head and dizziness was nothing compared to the guilt Fushiguro would feel every time he saw her damaged skin.

Shoko wipes her brow and lays a hand on the top of Megumi’s head, ruffling his inky locs.

“She’ll be just fine. You can go back to the dorms now. It will likely be a good 12 hours before she regains consciousness.” She states.

“I won’t leave her.” He mutters.

“Figured as much,” she thinks. She recalls how he stayed by Itadori’s side long after he had died. He had to quite literally be pried away from him by Gojo. Shoko’s heart clenched, reminiscing on the times Gojo would come back from a mission beaten to a pulp, long before he was the untouchable man he is today. Geto would stay with him until he woke, only to tear him a new one for being so irresponsible and stupid as soon as he opened his eyes. Gojo would do the same for Geto, though. How dangerous it is to have something so precious to you.

Shoko retrieves a blanket from the nearby warmer and drapes it over Fushiguro’s shoulders.

“At least try to get some sleep, little raven.” she says with a soft smile, giving his head a final pat for good measure. Normally, Fushiguro would have been irritated by her pet names and doting, but this time he was thankful for it.

“Thank you, Shoko.” he whispers as she leaves the room.

Hesitantly, he reaches out for her hand. Her fingers twitch slightly, causing him to recoil as if he was burned. He vaguely becomes aware of the heavy static in the air—something he knows all too well.

“How long have you been there, Gojo-sensei?” he says, not bothering to glance at the space in the corner of the room where Gojo stood in.

“Yare yare,” Gojo sighs, throwing his hands in the air. “Even though I’m masking most of my cursed energy, you could still sense me. As expected from the blessed Zen’in child, I suppose.”

Megumi shoots him an icy glare before returning his gaze to her.

Gojo shifts his weight from one foot to the other, and there’s a palpable change in the atmosphere. His usual playful and casual aura is replaced to that of deadly seriousness. To call it unsettling would be an understatement.

“Megumi,” he starts, making it to Fushiguro’s side in just a few strides. He places his left hand on the sliding door, the other on Megumi’s shoulder.

“What happened isn’t your fault.” Gojo states, still facing towards the exit. He slides the door open, taking a step forward before pausing.

“It’s mine. I’m sorry, Fushiguro.”

With that, he’s gone, the slider closing behind him without so much as a sound.

For some time, Megumi sits in silence, watching the rise and fall of her chest. A sickening feeling washes over him, reminding him of the times he’s sat for hours in his sister’s room, waiting for her to wake up.

But she never does.

The thought has him reaching for her hand again. He knows she will wake, but he can’t help the irrational part of his mind from thinking that maybe she won’t. Megumi squeezes her hand gently, in awe of the smoothness of her skin. But she’s cold—too cold. Without a thought, he shakes off the blanket Shoko gave him. He drapes it over her, pulling the soft fabric up under her chin. She looked so incredibly peaceful, as if she was in no pain at all. Carefully, he brushes a few stray hairs from her face before returning to her side, hands clasped around hers.

He’s not sure when he started singing softly to her, but he stops when he realizes. Force of habit, he figures. When he visits Tsumiki, he occasionally sings or reads to her. He doesn’t know why, perhaps somewhere deep down he hopes he’ll get some sort of response from her. Something, anything to let him know that she’s still there with him.

But she never does.

Lost in his own anguished thoughts, he almost doesn’t notice how she stirs fitfully the moment he stopped his song. His hands tighten around hers, and he chuckles lightly to himself. When did I become so pathetic?

Several seconds pass. Faintly, he begins to sing again.

“The space where you should be,

Occupied by cold feet

A vacant pillow and empty sheets

Sometimes I need you to hold me”

Her face relaxes into that of a restful slumber at the sound of his deep voice. Megumi smiles softly, his own eyelids feeling heavy.

“You get ready for bed,

I can’t promise I won’t peek

It feels like I’ve been moving in and out of a dream

I stay up all night and watch you while you sleep

I’m so inspired, you don’t even have to speak”

He blinks sluggishly, eyes never leaving her face.

“You wake up and I’m on the floor

Staring at the light underneath the door

You say I love you, but I love you more

I’ve never craved anyone like this before”

He places her hand on his cheek and leans into the warmth of her palm.

“I can’t wait for you to come home,

Come home”

Unable to resist any longer, he allows his eyes to shut. His voice ebbs, the volume of his words lowering to that of a honeyed whisper.

“I can’t wait for you

To come

Home”

Her scent overflows his senses, and he lets himself drown.

“Come…home…”

“Megu-mi!” Gojo chimes, sliding open the door without so much as a knock. “Didn’t Shoko tell you to go back to the d—”

He’s stopped by the sight in front of him.

Rays of crisp sunlight slip in between the blinds, just enough to illuminate the two. Megumi’s head still rests in her palm, one of his hands loosely gripping her wrist. His other hand is tangled in her hair that’s splayed out on the pillow. They’re both still asleep, and Gojo isn’t sure he’s ever seen Fushiguro so content in his whole life. He chuckles, pulling out his phone and snapping a picture of the pair. He’d tease Megumi about it later.

Gojo takes one last glance at them before leaving the room and shakes his head.

“These damn kids.”

The Freedom of Expression, radio version - Ep 28, April 2016 - Opposition Party name change,  Madonna turning up late to own concert, Baseball players caught making illegal bets on games.

Kaoru introduces the shows concept, and then Joe. Joe tells Kaoru that he just had his 48th birthday the previous day, and Kaoru tells him he doesn't look 48. Joe expresses his wish to have someone to share his birthday with the following year (i.e. a girlfriend). Kaoru then reminds listeners about the appeal for a new jingle, and reads out the shows contact info.

They then introduce Dobashi. Joe tells Dobashi he looks tired, and asks if he is ok. Dobashi says he is tired. Hiranabe has been working him too hard. Kaoru says Hiranabe is quite popular with listeners. He even has female fans who call themselves 'Nabe gals/ナベギャル on twitter.

Dobashi's first news is that the main political  opposition party, The Democratic Party of Japan/Minshutō (DPJ) had merged with the Japan Innovation Party/Ishin no Tō (JIP), and announced thier new united party name to be The Democratic Party/Minshintō (DP). There were apparently many different name suggestions raised, as well as opinion polls carried out. Dobashi thinks its important to have a united opposition in the face of the Abe administration, but wonders how this will actually pan out. Kaoru wonders what these parties are all up to. It seems as if the party has just changed its name. In order to grab the attention of the people they need a striking manifesto or plan, which seems to be lacking here. Joe says the people still remember the last time the DPJ were briefly in power and performed badly. A simple name change won't make any difference to thier image. Dobashi mentions that the 3.11 Earthquake and tsunami happened during this short DPJ administration, so they still have quite a negative image in the eyes of the public. Joe says he has quite a few friends/aquaintances who are members of the DPJ, and sometimes goes out to eat with them. He thinks the Party's biggest weak point when they were briefly in power was that they had no idea how to control, or form relationships with the bureaucracy at Kasumigaseki (the Tokyo district which houses all of the government's cabinet offices). They were living in a kind of fantasy realm in thier heads, and presented no stand in the face of the bureaucracy. Then 3. 11 happened. Joe wonders if anything has changed about them since that time. Kaoru says he has felt no change at all about them, even with this new name. Do they think they will suddenly succeed just by changing their name?

Dobashi says it reminds him of radio/tv personality Kawakami Shinichiro (the topic of the previous show) who changed himself into 'Sean K', with nothing solid to back up his success otherwise. Kaoru says it must be tough for radio presenters now, with the increased scrutiny into thier history. Joe agrees, and says after this Sean K incident, he occasionally had to take time off due to illness, and was accused by some of feigning illness. They called him 'Joan K'.

Dobashi's next story is from the world of music, specifically that Madonna had appeared on stage 2 hours late at her scheduled concert in Brisbane, Australia, which was part of her world tour. The concert was due to start at 9pm, but she was still not on stage after 10pm. The concert eventually started at 11:22pm, and there was a lot of booing from the audience, though Madonna did apologize for the delay once she was on stage, and made a few excuses as to why she was late. She was also close to two hours late appearing on stage for her Japan leg of her tour. The three of them say it makes you wonder what she had been doing for two hours. Kaoru says there could be various reasons for the delay, such as the schedue not going to plan, problems with set up, or even idleness. However, he does recall one time Dir en grey appeared on stage 90 mins late at Osaka-jo Hall, around the time of thier debut. He explains that the background footage which they needed for thier show had not yet arrived, and they were told to wait until it did arrive. These were the days before the kind of email that we have now, you couldn't just send something over instantly. The footage was apparently on its way via the bullet train! Kaoru thinks the audience were probably annoyed. He doesn't remember whether any announcement was made informing the audience about the delay, but they might have just assumed the band were taking ages to do thier make up. Dir themselves didn't get into trouble, but the event planners etc did. Considering this, Kaoru suspects it might not be Madonna causing the delay herself, but some other factors may be at play behind the scenes.

Dobashi then brings up a certain Japanese artist know for idleness (in his words). Although no names are mentioned, this is refering to X Japan/Yoshiki, who's 2008 reunion concert had a two and a half hour starting delay. Again without mentioning names, Kaoru also mentions the time Yoshiki was late for one of his own Niconama broadcasts, which Kaoru was also a participant in, and they had to start the broadcast without him. Joe says he is quite good friends with Tamaki from the band Anzen Chitai, and he told him once that he had failed to attend a live tv broadcast because he was too busy song writing and he forgot about it. Joe says there can be many reasons why a person is late or doesn't turn up. Kaoru adds that reactions from others can also differ. Some people might think, 'Oh, with this guy it can't be helped', but others might be more unforgiving. Dobashi asks for more details about Yoshiki not turning up to the niconama broadcast. Kaoru says he eventually arrived and just apologized normally.

Next Kaoru reads out an email from a listener who is worried about Japanese baseball gaining a bad image after various troublesome  issues have arisen at the start of the new season, including the scandal of Yomiuri Giants players illegally betting with each other on games. Although he acknowledges this action is illegal in the eyes of the law, Kaoru wonders whether the players are really in the wrong, or whether the law is at fault. Regular people probably do the same thing when they go home to thier families during the new year, and it probably also raises motivation. He can't see how what the players are doing is much different. Joe says he thinks its dangerous to use the law to control the peoples' speculative spirit, because it even comes down to simple things like, 'If they get a home run, you buy dinner'. Its a basic human enjoyment, and needs to be approached carefully. Dobashi says that when betting starts to have a negative social impact, then its wrong, but there are actually a lot of legalised public gambling establishments operating in Japan, which is no different from other forms of gambling really. Kaoru suggests that in a similar sense, a kind of Baseball public lottery could be set up, to avoid any behind the scenes betting or gambling.

Kaoru finishes by saying that despite reading out this email, he won't be sending out a sticker, which Joe thinks is a bit sadistic. He then reminds listeners about the new jingle appeal, and briefly plugs his blog, dvd, single, and tour.

Sakura: (Sighed Relaxingly as she snuggle next to Sean on a blanket while watching TV in the living room) It feels sooooooo good to finally get off from work.

Sean: (Nodded in Agreement) Tell me about it...I like training and all, but even I need some R&R every once in a while.

Sakura: Yeah.....So how was your training for today anyways, Sean-kun?

Sean: Decent. I'd jogged, did push-ups, played some Basketball, watch some Kung Fu movies for learning tactics, and etc. How's work?

Sakura: Pretty normal for the most part. (Gives Sean an adorable look) I'd missed you though~

Sean: (Blushes a Little while Chuckling Lightly) Seriously? You know you're always able to see me in the mornings and after you get off from work, right?

Sakura: I know...but I just... miss spending actual time with you, you know? Like, times where I don't have to worry about work stuff or fall asleep whenever I had an exhausting day.

Sean: Probably....But I still wanna buy you a Valentine's present at least....

Sean: Yeah. But I'm not really sure if you'll like it or not....
