— so let's say that naruto did have a younger sibling! he would absolutely treasure you, as he would consider them his very first friend. both of them had to go through hard times, such as being unaccepted by other people and misunderstood, but naruto is always here for his sibling, making sure that no one dares to belittle his own blood, even if that means getting humiliated himself.

— in their childhood naruto would spend a lot of time with his sibling and make sure that they never feel that lonely void in their soul. so lots of playing with toys, pretending to be ninjas on a mission, dreaming about their perfect world, where naruto becomes the hokage and he makes sure that every one of your wishes come true!

— supportive elder brother. he would always be glad to hear about your dreams and aspirations, no matter how silly they may sound. «you need to work hard for it!» naruto would definitely remind that to you, as it's important to never give up

— he would try to train them to make sure that they can protect themselves(even though naruto as a kid wasn't a master, he sure did try at least!)

— he's a kind - hearted guy, he always means well for his sibling, but due to lack of knowledge he would make mistakes, such as feeding you mostly ramen(since in naruto's eyes ramen is the best thing ever, he would obviously share it with his little sibling!)

— i can see naruto talking about his crush on sakura with a huge smile on his face! i like to think that naruto and his sibling would be super close, as they got no one but each other.

— as he got older, he definitely was more mature than a kid naruto, but still as outgoing and loud as ever. his dream of becoming a hokage is coming closer and if he sees you accomplishing your goals as well he would cheer for the whole village!

— but there would be teasing as well. sometimes naruto would call you some absurd and silly nicknames or sometimes pretending to act like the all - mighty master(jiraya)

—naruto is confident in you, so when he goes for a 3 year training with the old sage, he doesn't doubt your skills and believes that you can get by

— don't tell anyone, but he would secretly ask sakura to check on you from time to time to make sure that you are alright

— naruto is short - tempered so i can see his sibling knowing his weak spots and purposely hitting them to tease him, like talking about his crush on sakura and imitating how he tries to impress her

— so in short, naruto is nice, sometimes annoying, but always supportive elder brother who loves to tease you, but would never let anyone belittle you for who you are

— sakura is one the prime examples of inner growth and confidence. though she was pretty insecure as a kid, i imagine you always hyping her up, as she was one of the coolest people you knew. pretty, smart and just so cool!

— over time as sakura learned to love herself, she decided to never let you go trough the same thing, so she would always compliment your outfits, how accurately you threw your shiruken and praising you for passing your exams

— as a medic, she definitely takes care of the psychical wounds here in the house, but she's a great listener as well. whenever you have a problem, you can always count on sakura, she will listen and give you an honest and blunt advice, but with affection of siblings

— no matter how well do siblings get along, they still bicker at times. sakura and you are no exceptions. both of you usually argue about something insignificant, like who gets into the shower first, who washes the dishes, who takes out the trash, who never cleans up after themselves and so on

— i can imagine your parents' brains exploding from constant argues

— but the good thing is, you guys make up pretty fast! usually sakura tries to make up with some homemade pie(i just love sakura baking headcanon) if the argument gets too far

—she would give you great lessons on the whole dating world and she is a great gossip buddy as well! i'm pretty sure you guys have a gossip session with some sweets on saturday evening after sakura comes home from training all exhausted and wanting to just relax

—just like naruto, she would never let anyone talk bad about you. yes, she might complain sometimes about something you have done that annoys her, but god forbid if someone actually agrees with her and says that her sibling is a nightmare!

— sakura is also that kind of sibling to always remind you to wear your jacket, scarf and hat if it gets too cold and tells you that you will get sick otherwise. of course, most of the time you don't take it seriously, before actually getting sick. sakura did some tea for you before preparing the medicine while she shook her head sighing «i told you to be careful!»

— overall, sakura is this cool older sister who helps you find your own style, sometimes makes your life miserable by nagging about the dishes, but always comes first whenever you are in help.

sasuke uchiha

— i can see him with a twin sibling that's younger than him by 5 seconds or a younger sibling with a 1-2 age difference

— sasuke before and after the massacre is a complete different person who behaves differently, so i think i should divide them

— sasuke before massacre is obviously a happy kid with his family and most importantly, his favorite elder brother. but just like sasuke looks up for itachi, you would admire him as well! which would make sasuke a bit competitive at times, but with good intentions

— since you and sasuke are about the same age, you guys would hang out a lot, since itachi is busy with training and missions, mikoto has tons of housework and fugaku is the head of the clan and the police, so i'm sure there's tons of paperwork waiting for him at his desk

— sasuke would train with you, but unlike with naruto, he would be much more serious about it. he would try out Itachi's tactics, sometimes mimicking him, which would just make you laugh.

— «next time..»

— there would be tons of competition. from training with itachi, to who folds the clothes better(mikoto made up that game so that kids would get used to housework as they get older, which worked!)

— those competitive games actually made both of you skilled and smart, which got you to get admired by many. some called you «the uchiha duo» because you were always together and your techniques blended well.

— obviously, everything changed with this tragic event, that definitely left both of scarred forever. now you had one another against this cruelty. sasuke changed, so did you. he stopped smiling, became more serious with his training, treated you with a distance

— but sasuke is still a sweetheart, who just shows his affection differently, more subtly. he would never say anything in words, but his actions show more. like he would give the best piece of meat to you, smirking with pride as he sees you training and thinking about your safety while you are on a mission. he makes the breakfast for both of you while you get up for the academy, makes sure you don't fall behind.

— sometimes you would meet up with his teammates that sasuke was so grumpy about at first. you were glad that he has found his own people and hoped that this would continue.

— sasuke wouldn't want to lose you, so other than revenge, his other goal for becoming stronger is to protect you from danger. he would never forgive himself if anything horrible happened to his last remaining relative.

— you guys would usually train together just to make each other stronger. but sometimes there is need for some peace and quietness, so you would just make some tea and talk about your day before slowly drifting to more subtle hints about the future, the past and the present. sasuke knows his path will differ from yours.

— when he goes over to orochimaru, sasuke doesn't let you come with him, as he knows this is too dangerous and understands orochimaru's motives.

— while revenge eats his alive, you, as his sibling would obviously be worried about his condition that seemed to get worse, so you tried to save him, multiple times, before finally with the help of team 7 saving sasuke and him coming back to the village

— even though so much history has happened between you, nothing made your bond weaker. sasuke is an elder brother who won't seem that affectionate at first, but it takes more to an eye to notice his love and affection for his younger sibling. also, he would make an omelette with tomatoes for breakfast, there i said it.

An absolute fool for you

The only ways you could’ve caught this morons affections is by either being attractive or being kind to him back when you both first started out at the academy

Either way he’s absolutely smitten and so when he hears your name called out after his in class- he’s ecstatic that you’ll be on the same team

If you have a crush on someone else he’d be pretty bummed out but it won’t deter him

(He was especially motivated by sasuke and Sakura- it was just to get him away from them)

He’ll try to buy you ramen, flowers, honestly just anything to show you that he’s the most suitable suitor

Which couldn’t be further from the the truth (in the eyes of everyone else)

He’d be so open about liking you

Well, when he’s not around you

He’ll always talk about you and how wonderful you are- it’s so painfully obvious to any outsider looking in

And when someone brings up his more than obvious crush on you he’d flush and act as if they had gone mental

Well a certain period of time passes and throughout said period he’s constantly flirting with you

Again, Sakura likely started liking you because of your attractiveness

It was just a surface level crush until she saw that you had an actual good character

She’s so beyond happy that you’ll be on the same team, I’m not even exaggerating

You’re all in the same class and so as classmates you’re all bound to have crushes on the same people

That’s to say- a good amount of people also had a crush on you and the moment your name was announced alongside hers-

She just mentally imagined flipping them all and shoving it in their faces

Miss girl is honestly so sweet, she’s always trying to spend time with you and if you have any trouble with anything

E.g. ninjutsu, fighting, etc. she’ll always be there to help

Maybe a little too willing at times

Now, we all know that Ino and Sakura have had this rivalry and often banter

Well, all of a sudden (if Ino isn’t fighting over you) she’s probably making fun of you and being very loud about her opinion on you

It’s either that she thinks you and Sakura are a perfect match (negative) or that you’re terrible and not the best option (also negative)

Honestly the only way I’d see him having a crush on you would be if you were close to him pre massacre and have been by his side since forever

He’d be pretty dependent on you while also being super independent

It’s honestly confusing sometimes

When it comes to the whole you being apart of his team, he doesn’t feel a particular way about it

He’d try so hard to be nonchalant around you

But if someone insults you or does something slightly disrespectful- he’s giving them the death glare

And then excuses it with just being annoyed by (more often than not) Naruto

Since he usually pokes fun at ppl and stuff

Like he’d watch you from afar and is honestly jealous and simultaneously sees you as a rival

Sakura hated this.

Kakashi-sensei had framed it as an exchange program to foster peace between villages after the chaos of the Akatsuki, but all Sakura saw was a replacement—another teammate coming in to fill the void left by Naruto’s training trip with Jiraiya and Sasuke’s defection. And worse, it wasn’t just anyone—it was the daughter of that man, the one allied with Itachi, Sasuke’s captor.

Sakura tugged her gloves tighter over her hands. “Let’s get one thing straight,” she muttered, low enough for only (Y/N) to hear. “I don’t care what kind of arrangement Konoha made. I don’t trust you. So stay out of my way, and we won’t have a problem.”

Sakura lifted her head, her hand slipping into (Y/N)’s. “And what do you want now?”

(Y/N) looked down at their joined hands, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips. “I want this,” she whispered. “You. Here. Us.”

Sakura’s heart ached in the best way possible. She knew that for someone like (Y/N), admitting that she wanted to stay—choosing to stay—was no small thing. It was a leap of faith, just like their relationship.

“And what if someone from your past comes looking for you?” Sakura asked quietly, voicing the fear that had been gnawing at her since (Y/N) decided to stay.

(Y/N) gave her a lopsided grin, her shark-like teeth glinting in the moonlight. “Then they’ll have to go through you first, right?”

Sakura snorted, but the warmth in her chest didn’t fade. “Damn right.”

(Y/N) lifted her hand and tucked a stray strand of Sakura’s hair behind her ear, her fingers lingering just a moment longer than necessary. “You’re beautiful, you know that?”

The fight was brutal. (Y/N) moved like a force of nature, her water jutsu slicing through enemies with terrifying precision. But no matter how skilled they were, they were outnumbered.

Sakura fought by her side, her fists glowing with chakra, but a creeping fear lodged itself in her chest—a fear that they wouldn’t make it out of this one.

At one point, (Y/N) caught Sakura’s wrist, her silver-blue eyes serious. “If it comes down to it, you run. Got it?”

Sakura’s heart clenched. “I’m not leaving you.”

(Y/N) gave her a small, sad smile. “I know. But I need you to promise me anyway.”

Sakura shook her head. “We’re both getting out of this. Together.”

And with that, they charged back into the fray—side by side, as they always had been.

The rogue shinobi were relentless, their numbers seemingly endless. The forest echoed with the clash of steel, the rush of water jutsu, and the sharp crack of Sakura’s chakra-infused punches. (Y/N) fought like she belonged to the sea—fluid, unpredictable, and merciless. She carved through the enemy ranks with deadly precision, her water blades shimmering under the flickering light of fire jutsu and moonlight filtering through the treetops.

But even a storm can falter against overwhelming odds.

Sakura’s breath came in ragged gasps, and exhaustion began to creep into her limbs. She knew (Y/N) was feeling it too—their movements becoming just a fraction slower, their reactions dulled. It wasn’t enough to get them killed yet, but it was a dangerous edge to teeter on.

Sakura threw a chakra-enhanced punch into the earth, causing a shockwave that sent several shinobi flying. But just as she turned to warn (Y/N) of another ambush, she saw it—the subtle flick of a kunai coated in poison, sailing toward (Y/N)’s blind spot.

“(Y/N)!” Sakura screamed, pushing off the ground without thinking.

She threw herself into (Y/N), knocking her off balance and taking the blade to her shoulder. Pain exploded through her, but Sakura gritted her teeth and shoved (Y/N) behind cover.

“Damn it, Sakura!” (Y/N) shouted, catching her as they stumbled behind a fallen tree. “What the hell were you thinking?”

Sakura hissed through clenched teeth as the poison burned through her veins, black tendrils of chakra creeping outward from the wound. “I told you,” she whispered, gripping (Y/N)’s arm, “we leave together. No matter what.”

(Y/N) stared at her, emotions flickering across her face—panic, anger, fear, and something deeper. “Stupid… beautiful idiot,” (Y/N) muttered under her breath as she knelt beside Sakura, tearing the sleeve of her shirt to inspect the wound.

“I’ve got you,” (Y/N) whispered, her voice steady even as her hands trembled slightly. She formed a series of hand seals, summoning a surge of water that glowed faintly as it surrounded Sakura’s shoulder, cleansing the poison.

Sakura winced but managed a weak smile. “You’ve been practicing.”

(Y/N) huffed out a laugh, her expression softening despite the chaos around them. “Had to keep up with you, didn’t I?”

The rogue shinobi regrouped for another attack, and Sakura knew they wouldn’t last much longer—not without backup. She could feel her strength waning, the poison only partially neutralized. But as (Y/N) helped her to her feet, something shifted inside her.

This wasn’t how their story would end. Not here. Not like this.

“We’re making a run for it,” (Y/N) said firmly, tightening her grip on Sakura’s hand. “I don’t care what it takes—we’re getting out of this together.”

Sakura nodded, her heart pounding in her chest. “Together.”

With a shared glance, they launched into motion—dodging, weaving, and fighting their way through the remaining shinobi. (Y/N)’s water jutsu cut a path through the enemy lines, and Sakura followed close behind, her fists a blur of chakra-powered strikes.

Just as they broke through the last line of attackers, a burst of chakra exploded behind them—a fire jutsu aimed directly at Sakura’s back.

(Y/N) reacted without thinking. She threw herself between Sakura and the flames, summoning a towering wall of water just in time to absorb the impact. But the force of the blast knocked them both to the ground, skidding across the forest floor.

When the dust settled, they were lying side by side, panting and bruised but alive. The rogue shinobi had fallen back, retreating into the shadows of the forest, leaving them in silence.

Sakura turned her head toward (Y/N), who lay sprawled beside her, her chest rising and falling with labored breaths. “We made it,” Sakura whispered, a disbelieving smile spreading across her face.

(Y/N) let out a weak laugh, her eyes gleaming with exhaustion and relief. “Told you, princess. No matter what.”

Sakura shifted closer, ignoring the ache in her body, and rested her head against (Y/N)’s shoulder. “You’re impossible,” she murmured, but there was no mistaking the affection in her voice.

(Y/N) wrapped an arm around her, pulling her closer. “And you love me for it.”

Sakura smiled against her shoulder, feeling safe for the first time in what felt like forever. “Yeah,” she whispered, “I do.”

By the time they limped back to Konoha, the sun was rising, casting a warm glow over the village gates. They were met by a team of medics, but Sakura waved them off—her only focus was on making sure (Y/N) got the help she needed.

As they sat in the hospital room, (Y/N) resting beside her with bandages wrapped around her ribs, Sakura reached for her hand. She held it tightly, her thumb brushing over (Y/N)’s scarred knuckles.

“I almost lost you out there,” Sakura said quietly, her voice thick with emotion.

(Y/N) gave her a lopsided grin, even as her eyes drooped with exhaustion. “But you didn’t.”

Sakura leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to (Y/N)’s forehead. “And I never will.”

(Y/N) smiled, her hand tightening around Sakura’s. “Forever, right?”

Ino – “Wait, What?!” (Early Stage)

Ino leaned on the counter of the Yamanaka Flower Shop, idly picking petals from a chrysanthemum. The sun filtered through the windows, and she was just starting to get bored when the bell above the door jingled.

To her delight, Sakura strolled in, looking… different. It wasn’t her usual “I’m here to buy apology flowers for my team” look. Sakura’s eyes had a distinct softness, and her lips were curved in a way that made Ino narrow her eyes in suspicion.

“So,” Ino began slyly, setting the flowers aside, “who is it?”

Sakura froze in place, her face turning a suspicious shade of pink. “What are you talking about?” she muttered, grabbing a random bouquet from the shelf to avoid Ino’s knowing gaze.

“Oh, come on.” Ino leaned closer, her grin widening. “I know that look. You’ve got it bad for someone. Spill!”

Sakura hesitated for a moment, chewing on her bottom lip. “It’s… (Y/N).”

Ino blinked, tilting her head. “Wait. (Y/N) Hoshigaki?” she asked, as if the name hadn’t fully registered.

Sakura gave a small, nervous nod.

It took a second for the pieces to click, but when they did, Ino practically gasped. “Kisame’s daughter?! Shark Girl?!” She grabbed Sakura’s shoulders, shaking her lightly. “You’re dating her?”

Sakura swatted Ino’s hands away, her blush deepening. “Keep your voice down, will you?”

Ino couldn’t help herself—she burst into laughter. “Sakura, I swear you have the weirdest taste in people. First Sasuke, now a rogue shinobi’s kid? But—” she grinned, nudging Sakura with her elbow, “—I gotta admit, she is kinda cool.”

Sakura rolled her eyes, but the smile tugging at her lips betrayed her annoyance.

Kakashi – “I Didn’t See This Coming” (Mid-Stage)

Kakashi stood on the bridge, watching as Sakura and (Y/N) walked toward him, side by side. They weren’t holding hands, but there was an ease between them—a quiet kind of closeness Kakashi had come to recognize in couples.

He knew something was different the moment (Y/N) had joined their team through the exchange program. At first, Sakura had been stiff and resentful, but now… there was an unmistakable shift in their dynamic.

“You’re late,” Kakashi called lazily as they approached.

“Blame her,” (Y/N) said with a smirk, jerking her thumb toward Sakura. “She insisted on stopping for dango.”

Sakura glared at her, but there was no real heat in it. “You wanted the dango too!”

Kakashi’s visible eye crinkled with amusement. “I’m just surprised. It’s rare to see you two not at each other’s throats.”

(Y/N) grinned, baring her shark-like teeth. “What can I say? She’s grown on me.”

Sakura shot her a look, her cheeks pink, but (Y/N) just chuckled. Kakashi noted the way Sakura’s expression softened when she looked at (Y/N)—a softness Kakashi hadn’t seen since she was a child.

He tucked his hands into his pockets, feeling a rare sense of contentment. “Well, this is new,” he thought. But he didn’t say it aloud. He’d seen enough of life to know that relationships were complicated—and that sometimes, the unexpected ones were the most meaningful.

Naruto – “You’re WHAT?!” (Late Stage)

Naruto almost choked on his ramen. “You’re moving in together?!”

Sakura glared at him from across the table, her arms crossed. “Do you have to be so loud about it?”

Naruto wiped his mouth with his sleeve, still looking as if she’d just told him she was moving to another dimension. “But—But Sakura-chan!” he sputtered. “Are you really sure about this? I mean, she’s—she’s a Hoshigaki! And she has shark teeth!”

“Thanks for noticing, Naruto,” (Y/N) said dryly, appearing beside Sakura with two bottles of soda in hand. She plopped down next to her, draping an arm lazily over the back of Sakura’s chair. “They’re my best feature.”

Naruto blinked between them, his mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water. “I just… I mean… when did this even happen?!”

Sakura sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. “Naruto, it’s been months.”

Naruto still looked dumbfounded, but there was no mistaking the hint of protectiveness in his voice. “You better not hurt her, Hoshigaki. I mean it.”

(Y/N) raised a brow, then gave Naruto a slow, playful grin. “Relax, Uzumaki. I’m not going anywhere. She’s stuck with me.”

Sakura smirked, nudging (Y/N) lightly. “Who says I’m stuck with you?”

Naruto groaned, slumping forward over his bowl. “Great. Now you’re both ganging up on me.”

Tsunade – “So You’re Staying, Huh?” (Final Stage)

Tsunade sat behind her desk, arms folded, as she eyed (Y/N) from across the room. Sakura stood beside her, looking more composed than usual—as she had already made peace with whatever decision (Y/N) had come to.

“So,” Tsunade said slowly, “you’ve decided to stay in Konoha permanently?”

(Y/N) met the Hokage’s gaze without flinching. “Yeah. I have.”

Tsunade leaned back in her chair, her sharp eyes narrowing slightly. “And you’re sure you won’t regret leaving everything behind? Your old life?”

(Y/N) gave a small, almost imperceptible shrug. “I wasn’t really living before, just… existing.” She glanced at Sakura, her expression softening. “I found something here worth staying for.”

Sakura smiled quietly, a rare, genuine smile that Tsunade didn’t often see.

Tsunade sighed, rubbing her temples. “I guess I should’ve seen this coming.”

(Y/N) grinned, her shark teeth flashing. “I tend to surprise people.”

Tsunade huffed a laugh, though it was mostly exasperation. “Well, just don’t cause me any trouble, got it? The last thing I need is another Hoshigaki making my life harder.”

“No promises,” (Y/N) said with a wink.

Sakura groaned. “Why did I fall for such a pain?”

“Because you like challenges,” (Y/N) shot back smoothly, bumping Sakura’s shoulder.

Tsunade rolled her eyes but couldn’t hide the hint of a smile tugging at her lips. “Get out of my office, both of you, before I change my mind about all this.”

Sakura and (Y/N) exchanged a glance, then laughed as they left the room hand in hand, their footsteps echoing down the hall.

Tsunade shook her head, a wry smile on her face. “Well, I’ll be damned,” she muttered. “Didn’t think I’d see the day.”

And somehow, she felt that maybe—just maybe—Konoha was better off with the two of them in it.

Sakura just found out that Naruto and Sasuke have never watched Disney movies before. She puts on Tarzan, then immediately realizes her mistake when his parents are murdered right off the bat. Naruto is crying because his parents are dead. Sasuke is uncomfortable because his parents are dead. Sakura is freaking out because she can't think of any movies with two alive parents.

Sakura is road rage lol. "Are you fucking kidding me? There were FOUR signs saying that lane was going to end, asshole!" The rest of team seven is hanging on for dear life as she slams the gas and flips off the other driver when she passes.

After being forced into therapy as part of his plea deal, Sasuke was encouraged to keep a feelings journal. Yeah, yeah, okay, whatever. Every night, he plops down at his desk, takes out his black notebook, picks up the frilly pink pen Sakura left at his house a few months ago, and scribbles down different aspects of his day. The ink is pink and glittery, a sharp contrast to his dark and brooding personality, but he can't find it in himself to use any other writing utensil.

Kakashi is a simple man. When technology started to boom, he was with it for all of ten seconds before he was overwhelmed. He has a computer in front of him and three nerds around him trying to coax him through email, but all he's thinking about is the good ol' days of paper and ink.

Shikamaru is the hidden leaf village's secret weapon. He's proved time and time again that no one even comes close to his mental prowess... but that doesn't mean he isn't human. On more than a few occasions, he's spent an embarrassing amount of time using the wrong key to unlock doors. He misspells and forgets words often. He generally lacks common sense because he overthinks things so hard. A side effect of your brain always being at 100, is that it struggles with 1-99.

Hashirama dared Madara to eat a weed once and Tobirama took that as a challenge. Mysterious plants, strange animals, random shit he finds in the woods or at the market- you name it and Tobirama is daring Madara to eat it. "Guess you aren't brave enough-" doesn't even finish his sentence before the Uchiha has completely consumed it and licked his fingers clean.

She hears of Itachi's prowess throughout the five great Shinobi nations. He even joins the Akatsuki, much to her dismay. So she vows to bring Itachi to justice and bring him back to the village, even if it means dying. In this AU, Sakura is much stronger than in the canon, having devoted herself to her training from an early age.

Of course, she is unaware that the Uchiha massacre was ordered by the village's higher-ups, and that Itachi is in fact a spy.

Tokyo Revengers Emma hcs:

Shinichiro swears he doesn't have a favorite sibling. But Mikey and Izana are causing destruction in the house, they drag Shinichiro in to the chaos by accusing him of favoring Emma. All he wants is to stay away from the chaos like our untouchable queen.

She's into the same plushies Luna and Mana have.

One time Izana and Mikey got her the same gift for her birthday and then they both fought eachother on whos had better quality, was more expensive, etc.

Izana helps Emma with cooking.

The common denominator of Draken's wall of pictures is that Emma is in almost all of them. That's how the girls in the brothel found out about Kenny's little crush.

Kokonoi is reminded of Akane seeing Emma's kindness and blond hair, they have only seen eachother once - never even spoken to her. This only happened once though.

One time Mikey was hanging out with his friends, going over dumb stuff like "who would win in a fight against X and Y" suddenly Hina and Emma got dragged into this conversation. They all agree that seeing Hina and Emma fight would be similar to watching Sakura and Ino in the chunin exams fight. (Even the hair color and length match, plus they both know how to fight). Mikey just did not want to join in on this conversation change.

She was used as a messenger bird between Baji and Mikey while they both had an argument. It happened again secretly during the Valhalla arc as well.

Baji's mom helped her through her first period.

Owns a lot of blue and pink.

Emma Sano Crushing on you hcs:

If she likes you she pays attention to your favorite color and small things to subtly attract you. (ex. when she went to the festival with Draken she dressed in blue, and styled her hair in a similar way as his, she changed her hair tie to blue when she heard Draken was coming over, when she first met Takemichi she had a blue sweater tied around her waist, that time Mikey and Draken were fighting and made up she had a blue outfit on, yea you get it. I'm guessing her favorite color is pink since she has it on a lot in her official arts and the anime)

Now that she has Hina as her bestie, she tells her everything about her experience with you, and they both try to decipher your moves, or come up with a plan to get you.

She's really good at hiding her crush too tho, you wouldn't know it unless she tells you.

Doesn't care, she's super bold with her words and honesty.

If you are one of Mikey's friends, and he invites you to come over she purposefully barges in to complain about the noise or to relay a message to Mikey, just to look at you, talk to you, or to even stay.

Just know, if you feel the same (which you should, why else are you reading this if you don't), you have to make sure your gestures building up to your confession come up naturally, or else she's going to think her brothers threatened you.

I hated how this looked as a drawing and the sketch was frustrating. I almost didn’t paint it because all I could see were the flaws, but I’m happy I finished it. The paint mostly redeemed it.

Sasori x Sakura

Rating: Teen And Up Audiences Alternate Universe - Modern Setting, Fluff, Pumpkin carving, Jack-o'-lanterns

“It’s pumpkin carving Sasori, not brain surgery.” Sakura says as she uses her hand to scoop another blob of pumpkin goo into the bowl, not even minding the sleeves of her oversized sweater that are pushed up past her elbows don’t come into contact with the mess. “It’s supposed to be fun.”

Sasori thinks they might have vastly different ideas of what is considered to be fun. He’s made it as far as cutting the top off his own pumpkin. They’re not fully jack-o-lantern-sized, but it’s hard to find things like that in Suna, whose residents don't particularly participate in all the traditional holiday festivities. Sakura likely paid a pretty penny out of her own pocket to get the little pair of pumpkins in front of them now. 

He frowns at that, he would’ve bought them had she asked. But she’s often stubborn, insisting her money is just as good as his. It is technically, but it’s the principle of the matter. And the fact that he’s inherited a good deal of his own wealth, and Sakura works very diligently for her money at the little hospital in Suna. 

He also just enjoys spoiling her anytime the opportunity presents itself, to buy her whatever little snack or trinket that she looks so longingly at. 

Sasori looks inside his pumpkin again, at its slimy guts. Sakura has given him a large metal serving spoon to scrape the seeds and stringy bits out. It takes a few attempts to get a good scoop, plopping it in the bowl with Sakura’s. The second scoop comes easier, and he does his best to not touch the messy insides, but he gets it on his hands nonetheless. 

Sakura finishes emptying hers first, sorting through the slop bowl to pull out all of the seeds. Once he’s finished, she washes her collection, patting them dry with a towel and laying them out evenly on a pan. Tossing it in the oven and kicking the door shut with her foot. 

“Now the fun part,” she says with a smile, holding up a collection of sharp tools from his woodworking collection he had deemed acceptable to use on her pumpkin carving foray. 

Sasori raises a brow. “I thought the first part was supposed to be fun.”

“Yes,” Sakura leans in to press a kiss to his cheek. “But you’ll like this part the best.”

She has a few markers, handing one to Sasori. Who takes it skeptically. 

“I just carve a face?” Sasori clarifies, looking at the bumpy leather-like surface. 

“You can carve anything you want, baby.” She pauses, scrunching her nose a bit. “Well within reason of what the pumpkin can support, of course.”

He must be giving her a look, because she rolls her eyes and stands right beside him at the little table of her apartment. 

He watches her type out ‘jack-o-lantern ideas’ into the search bar, scrolling through the pictures of the carved orange vegetables. Some of them are not faces, but cats or ghosts or any  number of other misunderstood nocturnal animals. 

“I’ve seen enough, thank you,” Sasori tells her. Sakura slips her phone into her pocket, stepping between Sasori and the table to lace her arms around his neck.

“Sasori, it is something children do. You’re overthinking it, okay? There’s no wrong way to carve a pumpkin.” She kisses him for good measure. “You make spooky stuff all the time.”

“I make art, not mutilated vegetables. Let’s get it over with. Then we can do something else that's fun.” He barters, giving her a kiss back. 

“Deal.” Sakura steps around to the other side of the table from Sasori. “No peeking though.”

Sasori does peek, not at her pumpkin but at the face of concentration she makes as she traces out lines with the marker before carefully working the blade through the pumpkin flesh. The way she bites her lip as she works. She gets up every so often to wash her hands and shake the pumpkin seeds around, removing them when they have reached the appropriate level of crispiness. 

She feeds him a few, a crunchy, lightly salted, and a little nutty. Sakura is ecstatic when he deems them 'not bad'

They are nothing like the sugary pumpkin caramel marshmallow latte monstrosity she had ordered at the trendy coffee shop on their way here. Taking a single sip when she offered, much too sweet for his double shot of espresso tastes. He had upsized it after she ordered—paying for both—and had sat through several rounds of selfies with her and their respective to-go cups. 

Sakura knows he doesn’t like having his picture taken much and is always sure to only post his face to her ‘close friends’ and not her main feed. She calls the pictures that get posted on there where his hand or back is in the shot a ‘soft-launch’. He tells her she can post whatever pictures of him she likes, and she always tells him ‘she knows’. But a small part of him is always glad that she doesn’t, that she keeps him private, and he gets to keep that part of her world all to himself. 

She had also helped him set himself up a private account to follow her, a handful of his friends, and a few puppet-making accounts. 

Sasori carves a ‘spooky’ face. Sharp, harsh angles and a mouth of jagged, craggily teeth. He hates to admit, once he gets the hang of it, that it actually is not the worst thing he’s ever done. It would be much better if his hands weren’t so sticky from it, but he does always enjoy working with Sakura around to share the space with.

He steps back to admire his work. It is not wood. It will rot and mold and crumble, gone before the start of winter. Nearly a waste of his skill. He frowns at the orange face. 

“I’m done!” Sakura cheers. Smiling brightly at her pumpkin, excitable at the outcome, it’s enough to have his Sasori’s lips quirking up before he remembers he’s being grumpy about all of this. 

“Oh, are you done, too?” Sakura’s looking at him now. 

“Yes,” He would really like to wash his hands now. 

“Okay, we’ll show each other on three?” Sasori nods, placing his hands on his pumpkin, suddenly feeling a bit self-conscious at the thought of showing her. Sakura counts, “One, two, three!”

They twist them at the same time, revealing their faces to one another. 

“Ahhh!” Sakura screams in half mock horror and half delight. “I love it!”

She moves to go wash her own hands, presumably to get her phone out to take pictures of their jack-o-lanterns. But Sasori can’t take his eyes off the face carved oh-so-carefully into Sakura’s. 

It’s Hiruko. The most beloved piece of artwork Sasori’s ever made. A large intricately carved wooden puppet, a demon scorpion with a complex joint system controlled marionette style. He spent years and years perfecting him and still enjoys tinkering on him from time to time. Sakura had carved the likeness of his toothy face into her pumpkin. 

He’s speechless. He had expected something cutesy, not the sneering face of the main art fixture on display at his own house. 

Sakura's finished washing her hands, noting his silence has stretched well past the normal contemplating he does. “You hate it.” She frowns. 

Sasori never enjoys spoiling Sakura's bright moods. 

“Oh no, darling.” Stepping over to slip his arms around her, taking care not to touch his hands to her clothing. “It’s perfect. It was simply unexpected.”

“Really?!” She perks back up immediately. “I wanted to surprise you, so I spent all morning practicing drawing him, and I was so nervous I’d mess him up.” 

Sasori kisses the top of her nose before moving to wash his hands. By the time he’s finished, Sakura has set the two next to each other, candles firmly in place as she lights them up. The lids go on top, and Sasori reaches for the pull cord on the fixture to turn off the light. 

The horried faces glow, and Sakura takes entirely too long taking pictures, but she looks so lovely in the orange light as she moves everything just so. And he doesn’t even complain when she sets the little timer for a few pictures of them standing together, holding their ‘art’. And if he’s looking at her in all of them instead of the camera, that’s fine with him too. He always finds pleasure in watching her enjoy herself, even if it’s something he finds to be silly. 

After eons of him patiently waiting, Sakura blows out the little fire hazard in hers, and Sasori flows suit. 

He picks Sakura up, despite her squirming as she locks her legs around his waist, carrying her down the short hall into her bedroom. Laying her out on top of the fluffy duvet he has purchased for her after she had admitted how much she liked the one on his bed. 

“In a hurry, Sasori?” She giggles, already flushed across her cheeks as he crawls over her body. Poised like a scorpion ready to strike. 

“Mmmm, you had me waiting,” he says, pressing his lips to hers. Again and again and again. “And I am especially impatient when it comes to you.”

“Did you like it?” Sakura asks when he comes up for air again. Nose to nose with each other. 

“Did I like what?” He feigns ignorance. 

“Carving pumpkins?”

“I liked carving pumpkins with you,” Sasori tells her truthfully. 

Sakura pulls him in for a kiss this time. “I knew you would.”

Sasori’s cleaning Hiruko the next day when his phone dings, Sakura having sent all the pictures she’d taken from the evening before. She posted a picture of their jack-o-lanterns last night, garnering a mass of likes and comments praising their skills. 

Sasori saves them all to his camera roll. He doesn’t even have to scroll to find the ones of them holding their pumpkins together, faces a little dark and blurry, the glow from the candles messing with the focus. He picks one where their timing was off, neither looking at the camera. Sakura’s smiling down at her pumpkin, and Sasori’s smiling softly right at Sakura. 

He opens the menu to click the little share button. He frowns at the screen, unsure what to type in the caption box. Sakura would tell him he’s overthinking it again, so he scrolls through the emoji to find the little jack-o-lantern and the teeny black heart. Taking the time to tag Sakura’s handle so it doesn’t cover any of her up when it’s clicked on. 

Sasori hits the post button before he can doubt himself out of it. Locking his phone and setting it down on the workbench. It lights up again almost immediately, the notification banner informing him Sakura has liked his post.

Naruto Uzumaki

Once you start dating he’s in between these two categories: clingy and shy

One second he’d be the hyperactive person we all know (and love) him to be

Going on about Hokage stuff, ramen or honestly anything that comes up in that empty brain of his

Then he’d suddenly become like weirdly self aware, stiff up, turn to you, and continue but with a blush and be more quiet about his interests than before

You could assume it’s him being insecure but he really just gets bashful sometimes

I mean cmon

He’s probs had a crush on you for years and when you get together- you’re like the only person who would even consider him as a potential partner (in his mind)

Especially with how people treated him

Gradually he does get comfortable again, I mean at one point you guys were friends and he was really open about everything

Well eventually it gets to that point again

Just that this time whenever he’s being bold, he turns to you all bashful and turns back away and continues rambling

He’s really stupid but in an endearing way

Naruto is obviously pretty strong, head on and stubborn- we all know that

So imagine some idiot bumping into you and spilling all your stuff

Well Naruto ain’t letting it slide and confronts the person

Whatever stage of life you guys are at, this will go sorta different

Yet weirdly the same-

If you guys are younger, like when team 7 is still the og team 7

Then he’d be stubborn and be really confrontational- going as far as insulting the person and ordering them to help pick your stuff up (whether they do it or not- I can’t say)

If you’re older/mid teens then he’s the same honestly 😭

No matter what he’d still have this “dumb” air around him and don’t think I’m saying it as a bad thing

Because it really is endearing

He’ll always have your back

This was all to say that he’s pretty protective of you

Not when it comes to fighting all that much cuz you probably have it covered (though he’d still be there)

But mostly just when someone disrespects you

Also he’s so sweet

He’ll try to bring you traditional gifts like chocolates or substitute that with something else you like

He’ll always present it to you bashfully and hope that you’ll accept

Despite the fact that you’re literally with him?? Hello?

Also please just indulge him when going to Ichiraku ramen for dates or lunch

Most times he does try to make it up to you if you don’t like those types of dates

Also when it comes to affection, it does take a while for him to fully accept it

He’d definitely be surprised by it and fluster a bit

Eventually he does like physical affection- quite a lot actually

He’ll specifically scout you out for a hug or even to ruffle his hair

Just do it, we all know how touch starved he is

Jealousy wise I’d imagine two different scenarios too

The first is that it’s super obvious that he’s jealous 😭

It’s all over his face and he’s being mean (?) to the person that’s all over you (or not, maybe just someone attractive that’s around you a lil too much)

He’d be pouting too

During this time Sakura or any onlookers at all really, would tell him to cut it out cuz of his more than obvious attitude (second hand embarrassment 4 them)

He’d be sort of immature too

Mocking the person and wondering if they’re really better than him

This is all obvious to you so you’d probably be the first to bring it up

Not that Naruto is bad at communication just that he didn’t think of it

The other way he acts is not jealous- that’s only because he’s oblivious to the other persons advances on you

So he’d be all chill w this person and nice and stuff

And this person is just confused on why blud is okay with it 😭

Sakura Haruno

She’s literally the best person to date ever

She’s also really shy when you start dating

Not like she’s afraid to be affectionate because she really does want to be, but sometimes she gets a bit bashful at the idea

When she decides to be bold and hold your hand or even goes for a hug -

If you even slightly tease her she’ll definitely give you a serving of her iconic punch- straight to the face too 😭

Scratch that, she’ll throw an uppercut

Despite this comedic scene, once you hug her back she’ll feel touched and it just becomes a sweet moment for the two of you

Most moments with her tend to follow the same pattern as above

Gift wise she’ll definitely be the type of person to make you sweet home made stuff or even goes as far as buying treats or stuff she knows you’ll enjoy

Shed be flustered when she gives it to you and maybe a bit tsundere if Naruto or Ino is there to tease her for it

She’d likely give it to you later in the evening when she knows you’re not too busy

Despite the fact that you’re lit together

And that’s when she gives it to you

The only way to react is being overjoyed at the gift and hugging her or giving her some affection, I don’t make the rules

And if you decide for this to be your first kiss? Inner sakura would definitely be there totally pumped up while irl she’s acting all like a “shy” girl 😭

After having been walked home by you and closed the front door, she would definitely celebrate the new achievement

Now when it comes to what Sakura expects of you, just be the bare minimum

I swear I can’t emphasize this enough, just be a decent person

Even though we all know she deserves more

Make sure to gift her stuff in return too, not just lousy stuff but something you know she’ll cherish

Doesn’t even have to be expensive just something you know she’ll like, even then it wouldn’t hurt for it to have been costly

She’s always thinking of you too

You’re on her mind literally every waking hour

She walks home after a busy day and walks by a stall/store window and sees something you might like? She figures it wouldn’t hurt to buy it

She’s deciding what to eat? She’ll go out of her way to get something you can both share/ something of bigger portion just to have an excuse to sit with you

Not even something she has to do since her presence alone is a gift

She’s so beautiful too

And when you tell her, either by just slipping up because you were too entranced by her- she’ll be super flustered and try to play it off as a joke or you being “weird”

She’ll definitely go to sleep thinking about it though

Twirling her hair and kicking her feet and all

Eventually dates are in order

I won’t lie, Sakura would definitely want you to take her out first

She’s not even opposed to taking you out for a meal and paying either

She just prefers for you to first

Whether it’s for reassurance or preference- well it’s really unclear

Anyways, you end up taking her to a nice restaurant with plenty of choices

She doesn’t mind if it’s a small or quiet one either

Just as long as it’s with you

I do think Sakura would be the jealous type, try to hide it, but then fail miserably

Let me explain

Let’s say a person comes up to you- or even someone you’re assigned to protect is being awfully flirty

Well she’ll be as calm as she can be but it’s so obvious with her harsh actions that she’s fuming

Inner Sakura definitely shows that too

She doesn’t blame it on you or anything so that’s good but she’d still be pissed

It’s super funny too because Naruto would be terrified of interacting with her because then she’ll just take it out on him

And Sai? Yea he doesn’t gaf, he’ll still approach her

Even if it ends in him be wrangled and Naruto joining in

Naruto just because he was nearby*

This behavior doesn’t stop until the person leaves

Afterwards Sakura just doesn’t like the person at all 😭

Sasuke Uchiha

Or not???

Really depends with him because he sort of has mood swings

On one hand he’s really focused on his goal of restoring his clan and yknow the whole Itachi bit

(Not really a mood swing)

But he can’t deny that you’ve captured his heart

Plus, with him and his behavior- you’re likely super stubborn or hella in love

Probably both

I mean you’re already dating at this point but nothing really changes much

He’s pretty straightforward but with information that’s private- he keeps it that way

It’s pretty sad (?) in a way

At first it could definitely come off as him not liking you point blank

But when you really think about it you know that can’t be the case

You’re like the only person he’s ever even slightly been nice to

Honestly I’d believe it if you’re the only one amongst the Konoha residents that has seen sasuke laugh or smile

Up to a certain point)

He may be cold and distant but he doesn’t mean to be

He realizes that too the more you go into your relationship

So he tries not to be so emotionally constipated and tries to show you in subtle ways that, yes, he actually does care

Quite a lot honestly

Not really subtle though because it’s a stark difference between how he normally acts

By the time sasuke has the courage to hold your hand- it’s by the time where couples would normally have been doing much more

Honestly really depends when you date him too

Because if your relationship starts at teams 7 era

No it didn’t, he’s too clouded by getting revenge to actually act on it

Maybe, just maybe during shippuden

Even then he’s extremely difficult and hard to be around sometimes

And if you’re together, his behavior could definitely be a dealbreaker and cause some fights in your relationship

Patience is definitely required if you wanna go down the sasuke route 😮‍💨

I know I said previously that sasuke is really distant for a good while even with you

but eventually, gradually, he does open up more

Like about his past, his motivations, private and more vulnerable stuff like that

Now without the angsty-ish hcs, interacting with sasuke affectionately also has varied reactions

More often than not he’ll be, what can best be described as, tsundere

You could try and hug him while he’s overthinking but he’ll just shrink away

- a reaction that shows you he doesn’t feel like being touched

Obviously it’s a boundary that’s respected by you but it could also cause you to feel upset too

Then, after he shrinks away you look up to him

more specifically his face

Immediately you can see blush dusted on his cheeks

He gets easily flustered by interactions like this, I mean I can’t even imagine how touch starved he is

Now comes the rare occasion where he’s fine with it

Even leans into your touch

It’s pretty rare but sometimes he’s just exhausted and craves your touch

What can I say

Jealousy wise he’s terrible

He’s extremely jealous but tries to act like he isn’t bothered by what’s happening at all

Might even distance himself even more from you if he feels jealous

Could even spiral to him overthinking and feeling like his attachment to you is a weakness

Which quickly disappears because then he goes over to you and yanks you away from the person in question

Also did I forget to mention? DONT TEASE HIM

I can emphasize this enough

Hugging him for the first time in a while and he accepts? Don’t say anything

Same with this

I know people usually like to tease their partners with “awww you’re jealous?” But that’s just antagonizing him

Causes him to trust you less too so a definite ‘not’

Also extremely possessive over you

Like he’s usually hostile to others for no reason but if you’re being targeted then he’s definitely pissed off

Especially if someone thinks they can even try to make moves on you

Definitely takes a lot of patience but just dont pity him I guess (?) 😭

If you’re caring or try to be sympathetic with him he’ll mistake it for pity so yea

He gets more comfortable as the relationship becomes more serious

chapter four - academy

"A genjutsu has blocked parts of her memories we're unable to navigate through them," said a blonde-haired ninja, "Though everything she told you so far checks out with the memories she has Lord Third."

"So she truly is an Uzumaki. She mentioned she moved to The Hidden Mist Village. Is this true Inoichi?" asked the Hokage.

"Her memories show her and a few clan members moving from Uzushiogakure to Kirigakure when she was young. However, there is about a year or two's worth of memories blocked from us. The furthest I can see too is her being taken to a room or a lab... Could it be that the Uzumaki is blocking us from seeing her memories?"

"I doubt that she can complete such a refined and powerful jutsu at such a young age," Kushina spoke up, breaking the very still silence, "Regardless, she is still a child, we must-"

"Do not let her age be an oversight Kushina. Children can be capable of anything. Look at that retched Uchiha. Shisui was it? The one who murdered his fellow teammate on the front lines. Do not talk of children as innocent beings. They are just as capable of destruction as we are," an elder spat with a look of disdain painted in his expression.

"Now, now Danzo. You mustn't judge our respected ninjas on baseless accusations," the Hokage remarked, "What else can you see in her memories Inoichi?"

"Y/N Uzumaki... she's a deeply damaged child," Inoichi admitted, "Her family, her experience in the academy in Kirigakure..., none of it is fitting for a child."

"I see," sighed the Hokage, "Regardless, she needs to be monitored whilst she is here in the village. Not to mention, we still do not know if there are any other Uzumaki's in the same position as her, or if they're alive even. And we still don't have a definitive reason as to why Y/N Uzumaki is on the run, more specifically who captured her and why."

The room becomes enveloped in silence. It was almost stifling as the suspicion settled in their minds.

"I'll see to it that an anbu member is dispatched to follow her, dismissed." The Hokage exclaimed as he dismissed the jounins from the meeting and sat back in his chair, leaving a single red-haired kunoichi with him.

Just who was Y/N Uzumaki? Who took her captive? Why are her memories blocked? 

"Lord third, is it okay if Y/N gets put on my team? We're one member short, you know, and I would love to give the poor girl some closure. She's an Uzumaki! And besides I refuse to-"

"I understand Kushina," the hokage interrupted, "I planned for her to join your team, being with another Uzumaki might give her some closure."

"Thank you Lord Third!"

By the time I made it to my apartment after my run-in with Zetsu, dawn had already broke in Konoha and sleep crept its way over my body. But that doesn't matter as long as I am with her.

Sumire leaned back in her chair, eyes half closed, letting her memories wash over her as she played with my hair.

"Do you remember," she began, her voice barely louder than a whisper, "the summer before I started at the academy, when we played in the attic pretending like it was our own world? We thought we were so smart, hiding from everyone, like no one could see us.""

"Of course I do! We used to drag every pillow and blanket in sight just to make a fort. Stay up late with a flashlight and you'd tell ghost stories, and I would always end up too afraid to sleep." I remarked as nostalgia filled the air around us.

Sumire chuckled at the memory, shrugging with a playful grin as she pinched my cheek, "I don't think I ever scared you. You were always the braver one."

We fell into a comforting silence as we listened to the evening cicadas hum their songs.

"I quite liked our little attic world," she said after a while, her voice soft and gentle as though the precious memory would shatter at any moment if she uttered those words any louder, "you, me and our little attic wor-."

The morning songs whistled by the birds drew me back to reality. I am no longer the innocent, naïve girl who can run up to her attic and pretend that this sick, twisted reality doesn't exist.

Oh well, this is going to be harder than I thought but for now all I can do is play the part of a girl on the run from a kidnapper whose missing her parents.

How ironic.

"SHIT! I'M GOING TO BE LATE!" I yelled as I tried to shove my shoes on, tripping whilst doing so.

I rushed out of the door before hitting the railing of the apartment sidewalk. Sprinting down the stairs, I prayed to Kami that with some divine intervention I'd make it to the academy on time.

I ran through the halls and stood outside my classroom, listening in on the chatter and gossip between the other kids.

Perhaps this is my chance to start anew. A chance to have a normal childhood.

Taking in a deep breath, I slid the door open as the teacher greeted me, "Hello, I'm Kisuke sensei. Everyone, meet your new classmate."

"I'm Y/N Uzumaki. Please treat me well and I hope we can all get along." I said a bit too excitedly as I bowed down in front of my classmates.

I hoped on making a good impression them yet it must seem that the stars do take enjoyment in my failures as I tripped on the first step towards the desks.

Kami, just eat me alive.

At this point I'd rather be 7 feet under the ground then at the academy.

And of course, luck just wasn't on my side today.  The stifling silence was ripped by a multitude of laughs and jeers.

"Oh Kami, she just tripped!"

"How did she miss the step that's right in front of her?"

"Good luck becoming a shinobi with those reflexes." The children jeered, mocking the way I fell over, pointing out every single insignificant detail about the way I look and talk.

Kiri kids were nothing like this; they were much worse. Had I done this in Kirigakure, I would have been physically tormented. Just thinking about it makes my scars ache.

"IDIOTS! You all act as if you've never tripped before in your lives and besides did you just not hear who she is? She's from a famous shinobi clan. And to think you're going to graduate and become successful shinobi. You might just have more luck becoming a mute donkey but that would be an insult to all the mute donkey in the world! So shut it! You're ruining my sleep!" a voice yelled, annoyed by his petty classmates.

"Now, now Akira, no need to insult your peers like that. AND STOP SLEEPING IN MY LESSONS!"

Before he could yell a string of profanities, the Akira boy held his tongue before letting out a barely audible 'Hn'.

What a bipolar child.

He shouts snarky remarks yet his vocabulary seems as broad as a toothpick. Interesting.

"Apologies Y/N-chan. And for that lovely public display, Y/N chan is going to tail you for the rest of the day so she gets a feel for academy life." Kisuke sensei retorts as he points to a now sleeping Akira, who has his head between his arms, "Don't you dare ignore me young man!"

"Whatever." Akira yawned as he waved his hand lazily.

"Please take a seat by Akira Kuran whose over there, Y/N chan." Sensei said pointing his finger to a now sleeping boy.

I slowly made my way to the sleeping child. His demeanor was amusing to say the least but I can't break out of character; remember who you are, a runaway, a nothing. As I took my seat next to the very clearly disinterested  Akira, I heard him mumble something into his arm loud enough for the both of us to hear.

"Donkey"

The academy -to say the least- was uneventful. Children learning about chakra, its natures and control. Children were only learning them now at age 12. Did kids in Konoha have it this easy?The village hidden in the mist subjected every young child to violence and pain. The village was  heralded as the 'blood mist village'.

By age 8 I was forced to fight against the children I spent the last 5 years of my life with. Forced to mercilessly kill my friends for the prospect of graduating the academy.

"Psst Akira! It's time for lunch." I whispered, chuckling at his half sleepy state.

"Huh? Guess it's time to go sleep under the tree then" he muttered as he sluggishly dragged his legs down the steps, stopping a few centimeters into the corridor. I followed him through the academy halls before I knocked onto his back, falling onto the floor during the process.

"You know, when I called you a donkey, I didn't think you'd take it to heart and start following me like one."  He chuckled before turning around to give me a hand.

"Jerk! You're supposed to be my guide." I said as I turned my head away from his gaze, pouting towards the wall.

"Pout any longer and your lip will reach the floor, donkey." he laughed, still holding out his hand for me. I reluctantly took his hand and stood up. We made our way through the academy training grounds until Akira stopped and lied down on the grass under the tree.

"What are you doing?" I asked

"Learning how to fly. What do you think I'm doing? I'm watching the sky."

"I can see that Bakakira. Why aren't you eating lunch?"

"Meh I'm not hungry."

"Well, let's see why you enjoy watching the sky." I said as I lied down, letting the soft grass cushion my back, "I must admit the skies here are much prettier than the skies back in the hidden mist village, whether it be the blue skies of the day or dusk or dawn or even midnight, the skies always make me feel at peace."

"I used to watch the skies with my dad every day when I was younger and I love to still do it now. I feel like I can connect with him this way."

"I think that's quite admirable, Akira-kun.  Watching the skies gives me some sort of comfort, it is constant which gives me hope that things will get better."

"I'm glad you are staying hopeful during this. I heard what had happened, my mum serves as an elite bodyguard to the hokage, I hope you find your family soon."

"That means a lot Akira-kun, thank you."

"Of course, nothing I wouldn't do for a friend." He said as he turned his head to face mine and smiled.

"Who knew Akira-kun had a lil soft side to him." I chuckled

"Way to ruin the moment donkey."
