Actually on the subject of anime/ whatever your preferred young adult media is and having terrible parents, what is Ichigo's dad going to be like?

(I have like less than passing knowledge on bleach but I know a lot of people don't like his dad and I am definitely going to read AEIWAM because it sounds fantastic and I'd love to hear more)

Actually I'd love to hear more about any of the parents, I've never really gotten why people want parents to be more active in the escapist stories but now I've read a couyple really good fics and stories with it and yeah I get it now and think there should be more of it. It's great

Anyways I'd love to hear about more of any of the parents (sorry for being a bit vague I don't really know the characters and it sounds like talking about some of the parents mentioned might be spoilers but I am so excited for the fic it sounds really cool! May you have a lovely time writing and creating with it!)

You have excellent taste in freshwater fish, so of course I'll oblige. It's key to remember that I've taken an excavator to the backstory of a good many characters in the fic.

So Isshin is a... marginally better dad? I think it's fundamental to his characterization that he's kind of a fuckup who prefers to avoid interpersonal conflict, which is not a sin, but it does not make good parent material in a shonen series.

So AEIWAM!Isshin... Kind of tells the kids the truth- or at least, the stuff necessary to keep them safe.

The way he tells it, there was a shinigami that lived in his family's attic when he was a little boy- that part is kind of true! In canon, all the shinigami that turn up in Karkura town have nowhere to stay and end up crashing at the houses of psychically aware people. He tells the kids that the Shinigami's name was Kaien Shiba, so if he started telling stories about his favorite nephew, it's just the guy who lived in his attic!

...Which is why he knows all about hollows, and tells his young children about them and to avoid them at all costs, especially after three-year-old Ichigo points at one circling over the house and asks what the "Big Bird" is. He signs Ichigo up for Karate that afternoon, because if his son inherited either of his parent's powers, he's going to need to learn to defend himself.

Isshin also explains why his children can see ghosts and he can't, as well as the fact that they never see their grandparents AND how he met their mother in the same story- What actually happened was that Isshin had met Masaki, an escapee of the Quincy cult (previously engaged to her cousin, Ryuken, who ALSO did not want to be engaged to his cousin, partly because Ew and partly because he was already married) and dying of hollow poisoning, and did a magical blood transfusion to save her, losing his shinigami powers and committing some mild treason in the process.

What Isshin and Masaki tell their children is that Isshin used to be able to see ghosts, just like them, but when he was a young man, he and his parents were out driving and got hit by a truck. They died immediately, but Isshin had a serious head injury and spent months in the hospital. But! In the next hospital bed over was a young woman who had recently lost her family as well, and had fallen gravely ill. Love may or may not be able to bloom on the battlefield, but it can bloom in the Hospital ICU. Mommy and Daddy's friend Ryuken is Masaki's cousin who treated both of them in the hospital. That part is even true!

Speaking of Ryuken Ishida, he's also trying his best.

He had a terrible loss some nine years ago, when his wife, Kanae, died. Ryuken was a pureblood (read: Highly Inbred. White-haired Anime Boy syndrome has the same cause and detrimental health effects as high-white merele in dogs) Quincy, but his wife was not, and when Yhwach decided to do The Big Slurpy where he sucked the soul energy out of every descendant of his except one particular line, she decided to go down swinging and take as much of the Quincy cult out with her as she could. Like Uryuu did in canon, she used her powers until they burnt right out of her soul and killed her, rather than let that cancerous, cult-leading sonofabitch go after her family.

Ryuken then had another terrible shock a year later when his father-in-law was killed by hollows while secretly training his son in the Quincy arts, something Ryuken had explicitly forbidden, but Soken thought it important that Young Uryuu at least learn to control his inherited abilities. Uryuu was saved from the same fate by an exceptionally powerful hollow that tore the others limb from limb as soon as she recognized the frightened cries of her son.

Much like his friend Isshin, sometimes true love can be found in the midst of tragedy, and now Ryuken and Kanae are reunited and raising Uryuu together. Karkura has more than it's fair share of hollows, and so she's on a modified Santa Clarita Diet to keep her hunger at bay. She's doing quite well on it even! It's a bit strange to say, but Ryuken is possibly even more madly in love with her now that she's a hulking monstrosity with an appetite for flesh than when she was still human.

You knew what you had to do. You had to put a stop to your father, Ywhach. Landing in the Soul Society took a very long time, but you're finally here. Your father would never see you coming.

Your feet land on the firm ground in the Soul Society, chaos breaking out in every corner.

"You must be y/n. I'm Byakuya Kuchiki, I'll escort you to the head captain," Byakuya bows his head with respect.

"There's no need to bow, captain Byakuya. I have a job to do, just like everyone else," you explain and he nods his head.

Byakuya leads you through the crowds of fights and dead bodies covering the ground. He manages to safely get you to the captain's headquarters where the other Soul Reaper Captains are gathered.

The captains are lined up on either side of the building, a few feet apart from each other, hands folded in front.

"Y/n, a pleasure to meet you. I cannot thank you enough for coming," Shunsui's eyes meet yours and he marches over to you. The two of you extend your hands and shake each others.

"Thank you, captain Kyoraku," you bow your head down, slipping your hand away from his.

"Everyone, this is y/n. She's here to help us," Shunsui explains, walking back down the middle.

"So, what's the weapon that's suppose to end this?" Sajin speaks up, a deadpan expression on his face.

"Me. I'm the thing that's going to end this," you speak up, determined.

"You? You really expect us to believe that you're on our side?" Toshiro scoffs out, crossing his arms over his chest.

He's clearly not impressed with you or what you came here to do.

"I left behind my life long before I stepped into this battle, captain Hitsugaya. I can assure you I'm here to help you," you try to assure him, but the look on his face hasn't changed.

"How do we know that?" Toshiro huffs out.

"Because if I wanted you all dead, you already would've been. I understand your concerns, but I am on your side," you speak firmly, your voice echoing.

"How can we trust you, though? Knowing that your Ywhach's daughter?" Kenpachi's raspy voice speaks up. You let out a tiny sigh and walk down the middle.

Your eyes meet each of the captains eyes and you hold your head high with confidence.

"I don't want his money, I don't want his crown. I've come to burn my father's kingdom down."

"I say we stop questions this lady and help her out," Jushiro speaks up, a tiny smile across his pale face.

"So, how exactly are you going to take your father down?" Soi-Fong questions, shifting her weight back and forth.

"I'm gonna the stakes, I'm gonna smoke him out."

Your father's defeat was a long time coming. Every soul reaper in the Soul Society had your back, defending you at every corner. You put your life at a great risk to take your father down.

Renji and Rukia were a team, fighting off any other Quincy left over, still trying to please Ywhach. Toshiro, Rangiku, Shuhei, and Izuru were taking care of distracting Jugram, so you could slip inside.

Byakuya, Renji, Shunsui, and Kenpachi were your backup. Fighting right at your side and taking your father down. Jushiro even sacrificed his life to save the soul society.

Without Mayuri and Kisuke being a badasses in the lab, you wouldn't have had access to any information.

Shinji was a huge help, uttering the word 'bank' and twisting your father's world upside down.

Ikkaku, Yumichika, Kensei, and Rojuro were a great help. Lending you their support afterwards and tending to the injured.

The defeat of Ywhach could not have happened without the soul society lending a hand to you...

Bleach Shadow Redux Part 4

Squad 11's Monster, Kenpachi Zaraki,

"This meeting is dismissed. You all may leave." Yamamoto spoke. He quickly left before Akari could say any word to him, along with several other captains from Squad 2, 6, and 11. The other captains stayed for a little bit introducing themselves to Akari. Jushiro Ukitake from Squad 13, Shunsui Kyoraku from Squad 8, Retsu Unohana from Squad 4, and Sajin Komamura from Squad 7. Then they all left the meeting room. Ikkaku and Yumichika walked over to Akari.

"Why didn't you tell us that the head captain was your father!?" Ikkaku exclaimed. Akari shrugged.

"It hadn't crossed my mind. We aren't really on speaking terms."

"What do you mean?" Yumichika asked, wondering.

"The last time we spoke some words were said. So, he's giving me the silent treatment as he always does." Akari told them.

"What happened?" Ikkaku asked.

"My mother. When I was little, she was killed, he changed. Let's just leave it at that. I don't want to talk about it anymore." She told them. The three of them left the meeting room and headed over to Squad 11's barracks.

"You must be excited to fight the captain!" Ikkaku grinned.

"Yeah, he seems pretty strong." Akari murmured. The three of them arrived at the barracks to see a couple members from Squad 11 waiting around outside eager to see who the captain was going to fight. Akari saw the captain sitting down on the stairs to the barracks. He smirked and stood up as he saw the three of them.

"So, you finally arrived. I was starting to think you wasn't going to show." 

"Kenny!" Akari heard a young child's voice shout. "Is that the one you were talking about!? The one who's going to fight you!" Akari's eyes widen when she saw a little girl with short pink hair suddenly appear over his shoulder. She didn't even sense her. Akari could sense little spiritual pressure coming off of her, but it was barely noticeable. Whoever she was, she was not normal. Is this guy a hypocrite? Akari thought to herself and frowned and looked back towards him.

"So you say that you don't let girls in. Then what is that?" Akari asked him. The little girl blinked and smiled.

"I'm Lieutenant Yachiru Kusajishi! I'm Kenny's best friend!" She spoke then Akari noticed that she was staring at her red hair. "Wow! Your hair is red as a tomato!" She laughed. "I know what I'll you from now on, tomato head!" Akari's face turned red as she blushed in embarrassment.

"What did you say?"

"The Lieutenant likes to give everyone nicknames. It's how she remembers you." Yumichika told her. The squad 11 captain told Yachiru to hop off and she did and sat down on the steps. Then he turned back towards Akari.

"Are we going to do this or not?" 

"Of course, we are. But before we do, what's your name?" Akari asked him.

"Kenpachi. Kenpachi Zaraki. And yours, woman?" He asked her.

"Akari Agawa." Akari told him. Kenpachi pulled out his sword from his sheath revealing to be a long, chipped blade and rested it on his shoulder.

"If you can make a scratch on me your in." He told Akari the conditions.

"So, anything goes right? All I have to do is land a scratch on you?" She asked him. Kenpachi's grin grew wider.

"Yes, I don't care. Just land a hit on me or I'll split you in two." He said and pulled open his shihakusho, revealing his chest. "In fact, I'll even let you take the first blow! So come at me!"

Akari smiled but stayed where she was and gestured with her finger in a mocking gesture. Kenpachi growled.

"Fine then!" Kenpachi made the first move and within a blink of an eye he quickly appeared in front of Akari. She barely had enough time to block his sword with her own and he started to push her back. He was fast and strong! There was no way she could use Kido spells right now. He'll chop off her arm or slice her before she could get any words out. Akari managed to regain her footing and push him back and quickly hopped backwards to gain some distance. Then Akari quickly flashed stepped disappearing and quickly reappeared in front of Kenpachi, crossing their blades together once more. She couldn't help but feel drawn in more to him. Well, he did say anything goes.

Akari smirked as an idea came to her mind. Ikkaku watched silently with anticipation while Yumichika bit his thumb nervously, frowning with concern. She quickly grabbed their zanpakutos, holding them in place then pulled Kenpachi closer to her. Akari placed her lips against his. She couldn't help it...

Kenpachi's eyes widen in shock as so did several members from the squad. Ikkaku and Yumichika watched in concern, realizing what she was doing. Kenpachi could feel a small amount of his spiritual energy slowly leaving his body. He pushed Akari back, knocking her away from him.

"What the hell was that?" He demanded.

"Wouldn't you like to know." Akari smirked. She charged at him again. With each clash of their swords, Akari could hear faint rattling noise, almost a whine coming from Zaraki's blade. As if it was crying out...

Akari frowned, wondering. Was he not in tune with his zanpakuto? A soul reaper who's not in tune with their sword is barely a soul reaper at all. Who is this guy?

"What are you staring at?" Akari heard Kenpachi shouted.

Akari lunged at Zaraki just as he threw is sword down on her. He quickly moved his head to the side as Akari's sword knicked off a strap from his eye patch and it fell to the ground. He jumped back, holding his right eye. He narrowed his eyes at Akari.

"You should've have done that. Now you won't stand a chance."

"What do you mean?" She questioned.

"That eye patch of mine isn't just any normal eyepatch. It suppresses my spiritual energy. So I can make my fights fair and long with anyone, so they won't pass out." Akari's eyes widen when she saw a massive yellow light emitting from Kenpachi forming into a shape of a skull.

"So, in other words, you're cheating." Akari frowned. Kenpachi's eyes widen.

"What?" He murmured in surprise.

"You're hiding your spiritual pressure. I thought this was supposed to be a fair fight!" She shouted angrily. Ikkaku made a snort trying to suppress his laugh and so did Yumichika.

"You talk too much!" Kenpachi shouted and he quickly flashed stepped in front of Akari. Akari quickly jumped out of the way as he slammed his sword down. Akari quickly placed her foot on the blade so Kenpachi couldn't raise it to strike. Kenpachi's eyes widen as Akari quickly raised her arm and swung it down, slicing Kenpachi across his chest with her zanpakuto, making a deep wound. Akari's eyes widen when she saw him flew back from the blow, crashing onto the ground. Akari began to worry when she didn't see him get up.

"Shit!" She quickly ran over to him. "Hey, I didn't mean to go at you so hard. Please tell me that you're not dead-" A hand quickly shot up, punching Akari in the face then grabbed her. Kenpachi slammed her to the ground. She heard Kenpachi laughing and looked up to see him with a wide grin as he was about to impale her with his sword. Akari quickly smacked his hand away and rolled out of the way as he struck the ground where she was at. Akari panted and stood up, wiping the blood off from her lip. The blood from Kenpachi's wound dripped to the ground.

"So I'm in?" She asked him.

"Oh, you're in..."

"Great!" Akari beamed, cheering. Suddenly, Kenpachi's sword swung down on her and Akari barely managed to dodge it, jumping back. "Hey, what's wrong with you!? The fight's over when I cut you!" Ikkaku and Yumichika looked at each other realizing what was up. They've seen that look before on their captain's eyes. He's going into a frenzy.

"But I'm not done. I want more!" Kenpachi shouted. Akari's eyes widened backing up a little. That blood lust expression in his eyes. Can he not control himself? Shit... Akari threw her sword up as she deflected Kenpachi's while he began to swing at her repeatedly with is own. Shit. Shit. Shit! Kenpachi managed to slice Akari's side and made few scratches to her face as she tried to dodge him. Then he kicked Akari in the stomach, knocking her back.

"Captain! It's over!" Ikkaku shouted. He quickly charged over to Kenpachi, deflecting Kenpachi's sword with his own.

"You're in the way!" Kenpachi growled pushing Ikkaku out of the way. Before he could take a step, Akari quickly called upon a bakudo to hold Kenpachi's foot in place.

"It's been fun! But let's call it a draw!" She shouted and ran out of the barracks.

"Hey, get back here! We're not done!" Kenpachi shouted.

While the rest of the squad members were distracted trying to break Kenpachi from his binding. Yumichika managed to slip away to go look for Akari. He found her a few blocks away, panting, casting a spell to heal herself. He walked over to her and leaned against the wall, resting his leg up against it.

"For wanting to keep a secret, you're really bad at keeping it at a low profile." Yumichika told her. Akari smiled.

"I couldn't help it." Yumichika saw that she had a strange look in her eyes.

"What, are you saying you were aroused?" Yumichika asked her. Akari snorted, making a small laugh. 

"I don't know. It's never happened to me before." She told him.

"I wouldn't go around using Kido so often around the barracks. The other members will disapprove of it." He told her.

"Who cares." Akari told him. "If it helps, I'm going to use it. I'm hungry. Can you lend me some of your-"

"No."

"Why not!?" Akari whined. Her eyes stared up at Yumichika.

"Don't give me that look. You're in the Soul Society now. You can't just go lapping your lips onto every person and draining them, otherwise it'll draw suspicion. You can eat like a normal person, can't you? Can you get energy from that?" Yumichika asked.

"Yes, but-"

"Then do that." He said.

"But, I want you..." Akari murmured softly. Yumichika's eyes widen a little in shock. He can feel his cheeks getting hotter, slightly turning red, blushing.

"Hey! Yumichika! Akari!" The two saw Ikkaku running over to them. "Finally, I've found you. Akari, that was amazing! You're in! Although, I would stay away from Squad 11's barracks for a while until the captain calms down. He's searching for you."

"How about we visit the Rukongai for something to eat?" Akari asked them.

Was thinking about doing this anyways, so this is a great excuse to temporarily abandon my self-inflicted fictional worldbuilding statistics hell lol. Let's see:

Question: What should the person drawing pay attention to because it will help them survive The Battle (tm)?

Rukia: Shiba Kaien - Something to do with Ichigo? Or possibly his father.

Nemu: Cupid - I may be confusing fic inspired by your fic, but I do remember a mention of Nemu putting Ishida's organs back in him. Possible team-up?

Mayuri: Yellow Uno Reverse - no u, but in tarot card. Pay attention to the sword that's also your parole officer, possibly.

Rangiku: Sharks Are Smooth As Hell and the Lovers, Sideways - Pay attention to Gin (that relationship's going to go sidewise? Something about The Dick) and whatever game he's playing with Aizen.

Retsu: All-You-Can-Eat-Buffet Coupon - Someone's about to go apeshit, I suspect. ALSO TAMA. Almost forgot about her. How could I.

Soi Fon: The Roadrunner and The Lovers - Quite literally indicating Pícaro and that particular endgame ship, I'm assuming! Perhaps this is where Pícaro gets her powerup? Also possibly referring to Yoruichi.

Yamamoto: Nachtrichten von Trost und Freude - Not sure, but I'm assuming *something* to do with the Quincy and Wandenreich.

Question: Main problem and main strength?

Yoruichi: The Consequences Of Your Actions vs. Agony Aunt Column - I can only assume the Yoruichi-Soi Fon-Isshin Shiba fucktangle is coming to a head with a vengeance. Maybe get some actually good advice up in this mess.

Ichigo: The Mirror, Facedown vs. The Empress - Ichigo's problems with his inner hollow/his fucked up heritage causing Other Problems! I do agree with the analysis that Inoue is his thinking-brain human.

Inoue: The Library of Babel vs. Chocolate Chip Cookies - I can only think of the metaphor about monkeys on typewriters and Aizen's approach to Kido. Either way, the problem right now seems to be the universe's code, and the solution is to, just maybe, eat it.

Gin: Mars vs. The Limp Watches - On one hand, he is a literal fucking mystery dick. On the other hand, his plans are finally coming to fruition, and he can feed Aizen to the god machine!

Aizen: The Knife-Wielding Goose vs. The Power Card - I mean, literally. Man's a menace and entirely capable of causing havoc, but ultimately not as much of a threat as he thinks he is. And he's gonna get his own way! He's gonna succeed! And that's going to do shit-all for him.

Tousen: The Metamorphosis vs. The King Of Hearts - I'm not sure what the King means, or what Sajin thinks must be done, but the Metamorphosis is... on point, in multiple ways, especially for his curse and forced service to Aizen.

Now back to trying to figure out incredibly unethical experimental protocols. (For fun and profit (read: a worldbuilding project that's gotten somewhat out of control (I'm learning R)))

Went back to reread the garbage tarot last night, and the few things I did recognize were like. Hilariously on point and literal in the weirdest way possible (extremely positive) and now I want to go back and see how much I can put together based on all the snippets you've given us. Shunsui - He’s got a vested interest in his little one gaining mobility – he’ll gain an accomplice. She was toddling along with one of his empty sake cups in one hand and holding onto a low table with the other. Shunsui was smiling a few feet away, “That’s it, bring Daddy his cup.” She let go and wobbled over to him. He cheered, “That’s my girl!”

Soi Fon - Is convinced that her daughter will be the youngest to ever learn to walk because surely she’s passed on her superior balance and physical skills. Too bad her daughter also got her stubbornness. No matter what Soi Fon tries to tempt her with, the toddler isn’t interested in walking on her own. She gets extremely pissed off when her daughter’s first steps are because Kisuke lured her over to him with a lollipop during a visit to his shop.

Rose - He’s been “dancing” with her since she was born. The stages went from swaying around the room with her swaddled to having her hold onto his fingers and wiggle her diapered tushie. The day finally came that she let go of Rose’s fingers and took her first steps to the beat of one of his favorite songs.

Retsu - She spends a set amount of time after her afternoon tea helping her daughter to stand and eventually to move around. Retsu treats it like a game so that her little one will have some fun while being encouraged to practice her balance. She completely took her mother by surprise with her first steps. While Retsu was helping her take some steps, a butterfly wafted by. The toddler let go of her mother’s hands and changed direction to follow the flutter of wings. 

Shinji - His daughter’s first steps were backwards. (Go figure) Shinji was holding her up to keep her steady so he could get her to step forward. Instead, she stepped back, let go, and then took three more steps before plopping down with a big giggle. Shinji laughed, “Well, whatdaya know, a real chip off the ol’ block.” You just shook your head and hoped she didn’t have the ability to stand on the ceiling like her dad. 

Byakuya - This is one father that is very proactive in helping his daughter learn to walk. He’s read all the material he can on techniques to help the process. He’s helped her practice standing up and moving around with him supporting her. When he sees her start to pull herself up using furniture, he begins encouraging her to walk toward him on her own. An Ambassador Seaweed plushie is always in one of Byakuya’s pockets so he can offer it to coax his little girl to walk. The first time she does, he is all smiles and fatherly pride.

Sajin - Goro helped Sajin’s daughter start walking. The toddler was holding onto Goro’s fur one moment and the next she was walking on her own and right into her Daddy’s lap. Sajin was so happy. Thankfully, you were recording it all on your phone because it was so cute to watch her hanging onto Goro. 

Lisa - She spent a lot of time reading materials on childhood development so she was ready for crawling to lead to standing and walking. She helped her daughter with practice and praise. There wasn’t really any surprise when the two of you sat on the floor passing her back and forth between you and she let go of Lisa’s hands to take a few wobbling steps to your waiting hands. Everybody got smooched.

Kensei - As soon as she started to roll over and crawl around, Kensei has been helping her to sit up. He moved on to helping her stand and get her balance then got her to take some steps while holding onto his fingers. So, it wasn’t much of a surprise when she let go and took her first few steps. You and Kensei both cheered which startled her. She lost her balance, plopped down, and looked like she was going to cry. Kensei swooped in to lift her with a kiss on the cheek and a gruff, “Oi, no waterworks.”  

Toshiro - He spends as much time as he can with his daughter. Like her Daddy, she’s a fast learner and starts walking about a month before expected. Toshiro was working on some reports after dinner while you read a book and the little one played with her toys. A sheaf of paper had drifted to the floor. She picked it up, pulled herself up via the coffee table, and then walked over to give it back to him. You were both caught by surprise but very happy to see her walking.

Kenpachi - He much prefers to carry his little girl around. Her first steps were in the division 11 dojo. Kenny had taken her along to watch him spar. She had been sitting with Ikkaku but squirmed free to toddle her way to her Daddy mid-fight. It became very clear she was trying to get in on the fight. Kenny roared with laughter. He was one proud Daddy – he’d sired a real fighter.

Mayuri - He tried to convince you to let him make some “augmented” legs for her. After you told him “No way,” he offered a “supplemental” mix to enhance her motor skills and balance. Again, you nixed that idea. While you were both distracted with the conversation, your daughter pulled herself up and walked over to Mayuri where she plopped down on his foot. Twenty pounds of baby dropping on his foot made him howl and you laugh. 

Jushiro - His daughter was a bit of a late bloomer. Jushiro loves to carry her everywhere and she is more than happy to let him. She wasn’t really being coaxed to walk when she took her first steps. Jushiro wasn’t feeling well and had been cuddled up with her reading books to her. You brought a new book to give to him but were stopped in the doorway by Kiyone who had come to ask Jushiro to sign some paperwork. Your daughter crawled off the futon, pulled herself up, and took the few steps to you so she could get the bright-colored book in your hand. It was Jushiro’s soft cheer that drew your attention in time to witness the last few steps.

How would the captains from bleach react to their future s/o being a single mother?

Shunsui Kyoraku-Heck, the man’s probably got a couple of pups going around, with all the fooling around he’s done in his life. I think he would be very understanding, but he’ll try to interact with the kid if he intends to stick around, to show that he’s in it for the long run. 

Soi Fon- She’s one of the last to come around to her s/o having a kid, ya know with all those strict rules and all. But she’ll come around eventually, she just won’t interact more than a simple “I don’t mess with you, and you don’t mess with me” kind of way. and she is in for the long run she’ll try to be on their side a little more, but still, try to stick to most of her boundaries around kids

Rose Otoribashi- He is a little worried that he is a bad influence, since ya know he was an exile. but he’ll get over it soon enough. Sometimes his s/o might hear him talking to the kid about different types of music and heck, he might even take them to any concert (within reason) they might wanna go see. 

Retsu Unohana- She is a little similar to Soifon as she’ll try and be as respectful to them and respect any boundaries the child or her s/o make. And yet there will be times where she’ll talk to her s/o about any behavior that she thinks needs improvement. It’s nothing special, just as a doctor might tell you what to do. Don’t expect her to just let things slide either, she is no pushover and she will tell your mom.

Isane Kotetsu- Oh My Gosh, this girl is so anxious about meeting your kid! She wants to make a good impression on the child and doesn’t want to traumatize the kid. She’s read those books about absentee parents and really doesn’t want to do anything that might be talked about in therapy later in the kid’s life. She eventually relaxes when she realizes that she might actually really like kids and who knows they might even become friends. though she will not discipline this kid at ALL. The kid will go to Isane for things instead of their mom, and her S/O will have to tell her that it’s okay to say no to the child.

Shinji Hirako- He is so awkward around this child, it’s like walking on glass for him. I think the realization that he might not be around for forever (due to the dangers of his job) will really hit hard when his S/O brings up this child, he wants to really get close to them but keeps a safe distance from them. It’s really up to his S/O to tell him that it’s fine to get close and it’s not that deep. So yes he eventually warms up to the kid, thinks of his relationship with Momo, Ichigo, and Hiyrori all combined into one. He gets into dumbass arguments with the kid (cuz he’s a loudmouth) but will stick up for them when need be

Byakuya Kuchiki- He is very conflicted when it comes to the child. He doesn’t know if he should be distant or happy. With his uptight upbringing, even the mere thought of having a bastard child would bring his family shame. But then he has a realization, (for a lack of better words) fuck them, and he’ll try to actually get close to this child. He will try to keep them out of the family business until his S/O and he is married and they become of age. They will become the new face of his Admiral Seaweed Merch.

Sajin Komamura- He is very nervous, and for no reason at all. His S/o’s kid loves him! what is there not to love, he’s a big ass dog, he BATHES in that respecting women juice, and he is a total badass. ((If you disagree with me on this you can FIGHT ME!!!)). After the child absolutely smothers this man in the life he deserves, he is over the moon about this and will now die for this child. even if he and the S/O split he will still try to be a part of the kid’s life and support them as best he can.

Lisa Yadoumaru- She is very iffy about the kid. she’s not too big on children in general, but like Soifon, she’ll maintain a safe distance and respect boundaries. and if the kid every just needs any advise, on love, academics, or the nastier topics, she will gladly try to help them out without accidentally traumatizing them.

Kensei Muguruma- Kensei is basically if you’re baseball coach decided to date your mom, he’ll be as supportive as he can, respect boundaries, and push the kid to do their best. I mean look at this man and Mashiro and Shuhei, he is father material. He RADIATES dad energy. think Creig from Dream Daddy

Toshiro Hitsugaya (Adult)- He’s just shocked, he doesn’t know what to do. He just won’t interact with them like at all for the first couple of months. the child will forget he exists, until one day they come home to find him and their mom backing or having a good cuddle and they had lost track of time., and suddenly he has to be a part this kids’ life, and he does not know what to do. Eventually, he will get to a point where he can make a not awkward conversation with the child, but who knows they might even become friends

Mayuri Kurotsuchi- He doesn’t care. I mean he’ll protect the child cuz it’d be annoying if they died, but other than that he won’t really interact with them. Unless he plans to be with his S/O for a long time, he won’t take any real interest in them

Kenpachi Zaraki- He’s very meh, I mean yeah you got kid, you could throw a rock where he grew up and hit a single parent, heck he is a single parent. but he’ll try and be there and help out whenever there needs to be helping. EXPECT FOR HIM TO RUN WITH THIS CHILD ON HIS BACK WITH YACHIRO.

Jushiro Ukitake- THIS MAN IS FATHER MATERIAL. His S/O doesn’t even need to worry about their kid not liking this man, because he is physically impossible to hate. And he is so excited to give this kid all of the love and attention that they will ever need. His S/O will need to scold this man for giving their child too much love and attention because this kid is going to the dentist every day with all this sweet attention he is giving.

17 years passed since the end of the war. 19 since it started. The captains and lieutenants of the 13th squads were in Karakura to see Kurosaki Ichigo and talk about some strange reiatsu they noticed with him.

- The tickets they promised you - Death Angel gave her an envelope -. Enjoy the concert with your friends.

Unohana went with the others while Death Angel returned inside the stadium. All the members of the band were wearing hoods. When the concert started, the youngest of the band said some words.

Most of the girls in the stadium screamed and raised their hands. Some boys too.

And they sang Mask, a song they made which share the copyright with Aqua Timez, who sang it for an anime. Bambietta missed some of the lyrics, but Killer Werewolf didn't let the others know.

- Can we take a picture together? - asked Unohana when the song finished.

- Sure! - yelled Death Angel while jumping to her brother's side.

- Come here, Silent Assassin! - yelled Demon Lord to the youngest member.

- I'm the tallest one, I take the picture - said Killer Werewolf.

They took the picture, but no one noticed that the faces of the members of the band were clearly visible in it. No one noticed how they pulled back a little their hoods for a moment in front of all to take that picture.

The decision of train us was one of the hardest he ever made. It was that, or losing some of us forever. He made the right choice.

- Ichigo had to chose between following the law and your safety? - asked Rukia.

- He even preferred death to lose one of us.

- You are coming with us, now - sentenced Kyouraku.

- The teacher let us go home - answered Shikeguni -. You should be on school, Shunsui.
