I'm black, then I'm white, No, something isn't right- My enemy's invisible, I don't know how to fight
My friend put on Vocaloid songs as I was drawing the previous piece, and I encountered two songs that made me think of two characters from Penny Larceny respectively. One of it was ECHO, because honestly, Farsight's just going through it and so is the singer in ECHO.
And the other song? Well, you'll see next Friday.

Okay, after playing two of their three games, I think I've cracked the code on Fiction Factory Games.
They like these kinds of characters:
Platonically - A jacked dude who is introspective
Sexually - A confident domme woman
Romantically - A pathetic, shivering wet dog of a person who nonetheless still has more going on than they do
P.S. These two are very cute together

I bought the pamphlet for the P4 anime movie that was sold at theaters during the movie's screenings. In Ami Koshimizu's interview (Yukiko VA), she talks about being a fellow Adachi fangirl lol. She even put a heart by his name... Gasp...
She's intrigued by how elusive he is, like he's weaving in and out of a crowd; like you want to get close to him ("within reach"), but you can't. And he also has the "gap" moe going for him (referring to how he changes gears after the reveal). She notes that she enjoyed Mitsuaki Madono's performance as Adachi during episodes 24-25 as well.
Confirmed Adachi Fans on Staff:
Whoever the fuck at Nico Nico Video dreamed up the Tohru Adachi Collab Cafe for the release of the Golden anime BD/DVD volume 4
Rokuro Saito's assistant, Yuka
Multiple ladies at ArcSys
The Unnamed Writer who Wrote Episode Adachi for P4U2 Before Wada Even Knew If It Was Okay To Add Story DLC
Yukiko's VA, Ami Koshimizu
Possible Adachi Fans on Staff:
P4 vocalist, Shihoko Hirata: During Persona Super Live 2022, she tweeted a photo of Adachi's choreographer/dancer and the hashtags include, "I wish to offer him a cabbage"... Is she... Is she one of us...?

Simone’s fellowship starts in a few days so she’s using this time as a mini vacation. She’s staying in a beautiful Wakaba home courtesy of the Saito family & her first official day as a Mt. Komorebi resident was spent exploring the town of a thousand leaves🎋
The Saito’s are a locally renowned family. They work and live within their community and take care of it. Ami is the head archivist & curator at the Senbamachi Art Museum & Sculpture Garden while Ren is trauma surgeon at Mt. Komorebi National Hospital. Their son Kenji is the head chef at Kyoto Karaoke & Sushi Bar looking to open his own sushi restaurant.

2025 WIP Cleanout
anyway i was thinking about Jessica Abel's thoughts on idea debt and @/bettsfic's newsletter on triaging wips and realized there is a LOT of drawerfic i have that my brain refuses to actually leave in the proverbial drawer
it was easy then to be like 'ok whatever i'll just scrap this' but harder to realize that...i don't actually want to scrap them
i don't know if it's the ideas themselves that keep haunting me or the potential that i know those stories can have if only i put the work in - so here is me, vowing to put the work in
i've got 4 fics, over 300k more words to write, and a plan of action for all of them - here's everything i've got on the list (they all have titles too so that's how you know i'm serious about them LOL)
Something Man-Made is Here
Beef, Amy/Danny, Amy/Paul
this one is what inspired this cleanout bc i've literally had this fic on the backburner FOREVER :') i first started it back in june 2023 and wrote like 20k words before taking a break. then i picked it back up for nano 2023 and wrote the 50k before taking another break. finally in july 2024 i wrote the last 30k and then promptly buried the doc so deep in my folders that i didn't look at it again
i do think this one has good bones and is worth polishing up, but i mean, to state the obvious...absolutely no one is going to read this. there are like 10 fics for this fandom - for so long i've been feeling like it would be a waste of time to fix this up.
but!!! it wouldn't!!!! because as we have established, this will keep haunting me until i actually do something about it. so! plan of action
currently, the draft is around 100k and 27 chapters. but! it is a mess
i think the final chapter count will actually be less....chapters 24-27 feel like they could be consolidated into one or two, just to tighten up the pacing a bit
the entire thing also needs probably a straight up rewrite so....that will be fun
a lot of the smaller things this needs - a sweep for pacing, characterization, etc etc - will probably be covered in the rewrite so i just need to put the time in
final word count will probably be somewhere around 80-100k? i think a lot of what i have will be cut and replaced, so it'll also be tightened up
2. Hold Up Our Mirrors
AI: The Somnium Files, Iris & Saito
started this one back in february 2023...wow. it's currently sitting at 17k words, but i think the reason i dropped it is because it has no audience except for me [do you see a pattern here...] and also because it needed a lot of canon review that i wasn't really in the mood to do
this one also has good bones! back when i started this, i found the theme/motif that i wanted it to center around, so that's a lot of the groundwork done.
canon reviewwww.....i have no idea who these people are anymore.
probably will scrap most of what i have and start fresh, mostly bc i was in a very different place when i wrote this and i think starting over will help put me back into the headspace of the story
good bones good bones!! i actually have most of the major beats of the story already written down, so most of the rewrite's focus will be on characterization rather than plot
i don't think this one should be very long? [fully aware that i will probably eat my words] i was thinking around 50k, so we'll see
3. Swim Back to Your Shore
Persona 4, Yu & Nanako, Yu & Investigation Team
ahhh another fic that will only appeal to me. this one is actually more recent than the others on the list..i started it back in august 2024. so far, i've got 29k written, but about 20k of that was written with dictation, so it's more of a zero draft than anything coherent.
the first like...8k though, i'm actually quite happy with! don't think it'll require as much work as the rest
okiee first of all, need to rewrite all of the dictation-written chapters (5 of them) into something resembling prose
after that, actually, i think it's just writing the rest? the plot is like.....a vague mishmash of things that only exists in my head, so finding the right thread to pull might take a while
thinking around 80k for this one
4. Maybe Life Will Love You Home
Miraculous Ladybug, Shadybug/Claw Noir
so this one might actually appeal to people other than me!! all....two of you LOL
started this one back in may 2024, and originally meant to finish it for the ML big bang, but..idk the vibes were off, so i scrapped that idea. this one's currently sitting at 15k, but i think i need to start fresh with this one too.
read through what i have and cannibalize it for ideas
just write! for this one at least, the plot is a bit more concrete in my head? maybe bc i've been thinking about it for so long....haunting me...
thinking also around 80k for this one!
deadline for all of these is by the end of the year, 2025. godspeed, future me
#wip cleanout#2025 wip cleanout#i love how many of these are like#'hey i have a draft! also i'm going to scrap it and start from zero'#ok so you're just writing them from scratch got it HAHA#wow seeing it all laid out like this#i didn't realize how many projects i talk myself out of bc they won't have an audience#and this is just for longfics i've started also#we don't talk about the billion oneshots i have#it's interesting too that i do have longfics i've scrapped and put in the drawer#but those actually don't come back to haunt me!#so it is something about these specific ones that my brain wants to finish really bad#interesting...

I need more Junko au, anything!!! Eventhing!!!
It can be silly, some doodle or wrtings, plans for the future, scrapped ideas, things you're not certain about
Specially I wanna know about the characters relationships with each other, maybe some ships 👀👀👀
Okay, so this got a bit long...
The Uchihas have been "massacred" in the AU as well, but only in theory (as well) the few remaining Uchihas are hiding or -literally- working for their lives. That's the case for Domin. He escaped, proved he could still be useful and changed his name. Everyone with awakened Uchiha blood had to change their names at some point to hide.
- Amie and Shiori (Shouta) are Uchihas on the run. Shiori's sister, Tsubasa, left the Hyuugas with him when he awakened the sharingan, and they both resent Yan li and Remei a little for staying.
The Hyuugas aren't much better either they hoard the best and most talented youths and discard the rest to other clans. Nolan is the exception, he was demoted from Uzumaki to Hyuuga after Junko arrived and took his place (the clan heads claimed her "rare" Uchiha blood was more worthy than Nolan's Hyuuga blood, when in truth they just wanted to keep a closer eye on her).
Viola knows how cruel the clans system can be, and hopes she can change something from within by becoming the heiress. Honoka wants to believe in her, but once Junko gets her sharingan she can't say she has much hope.
Diane found a way to get away from the Hyuuga clan without getting into any bigger disagreements, by getting a job in Suna. Even though things aren't that great over there, at least those aren't their problem. In Suna Aura and Yori are disputing the kazekage position. Their rivalry was bad enough but on top of that, Ten and Mika have recently been causing trouble in the region, taking sides, and overall causing a mess for the people, and the two need to sort that as well.
On the topic of different villages, Dei is another Uchiha who found safety and protection from Konoha's hunt in Iwa and offered them his loyalty instead. He got Nanako as a teammate and the two will have a small antagonist role in Junko and Viola's journey.
Also Junko manages to escape from Konoha. Both Honoka and Kyouharu are put under investigation. And Kyouharu! He's going to cause so. Much. Trouble to future Hokage Dante. Dante is gonna suffer to fix the system as it is, he's part Uzumaki and knows that helped him get the job in the first place. Suzuyasu knows that as well - just take it from there.
Ships?
Irene has a crush on Kaito. I don't think they'll get together for now, but the idea is out there.
Aura and Eliete. They're just... always there for each other on the fun and the pain. They both sacrifice anything for the other. Eliete believes Aura when no one else will and Aura shows Eliete her (very very rare) vulnerable moments.
On the same note - Junko and Honoka. Bffs, love and trust each other so much.
Saito got himself a very fierce wife and they are the cutest opposites atract kind of couple!
Yuriko and Ten... they'd be a slow burn, enemies to lovers, tough "I don't need anyone" fighter and stricy "I'll take care of everyone" doctor trope.
Hm... there could be more, I haven't thought of many more too specifically, but there could surely be more ;)
#ask ffrogs#i saved this as a draft who knows how long ago#and literally just found it bc i accidentally saved smth else on the wrong ccount#this is a disaster#but here it is#i am so sorry omg
