Saint Young Men is so funny. "Jesus gets mistaken for the son of a yakuza organization head" running gag is my favorite but there's so many other good ones. Though "Jesus looks like Johnny Depp and is very excited about this" didn't age well 😬
The time they join a shrine procession cuz the guy who thinks Jesus is a yakuza boss's son shows up and is like "oh, you want to get closer? I'll give you the best seat in the house!" And arranges for them to actually join the procession.
The shrine God giving them fortunes that say "call your parents" and "act your age."
Jesus canonically walked on water because he can't swim and is afraid to be underwater.
When Jesus gets upset his crown of thorns starts bleeding.
Buddha glows when he's mad.
The whole thing is hilarious.
