Finally Finished reading "Saint Rosalind" and honestly despite it never getting an official translation I'd love to own a copy. A lot of shoujo horror manga can fall into the same story beats. Usually about high schoolers encountering ghosts and curses at their school.

So a horror Shoujo like Saint Rosalind really is a special treat, and just makes me very happy to see what absolutely horrific violence the 1970s Shoujo girlies were allowed to indulge in. I have such respect for the Shoujo artists of this time who were just allowed to write whatever kind of story they wanted and still have it LOOK and be 100% shoujo. You can feel the "weird girl" energy from the artists.

(also I am very charmed by this drawing the mangaka made of her and this serial killer character she made and obviously has a lot of affection for well into her 60s or 70s for the 2017 reprinting of the manga)

Also, a story about a beautiful, charming, innocent little girl who has no concept of good and bad who kills people horrifically simply to get something she wants, or because she thinks they're a bad person for lying, or just through general lack of care or thought is just SO much more interesting to me than yet another ghost curse at a high school story.

Sadly the shipping for a copy of the manga is Y5000 while the manga itself is only Y2000. So digital copies will have to be it for me for now.
