why do I have nostalgia for 2020-2021

millions of people died.

Yet i miss being in my room watching minecraft all day, talking to my friends about sailor moon, empires smp. waiting for a new Sad-ISt dsmp animatic to come out.

I wore 2020 alt fashion every single day in 2021, I miss it.

I can't tell u how much happy this make me like i keep feeling like i barely improve over the years n doing redraws like this is like my main ways of reassuring myself that I'm doing alright :DDD . Albeit slower than I want but still proud of myself nonetheless (⁠人⁠ ⁠•͈⁠ᴗ⁠•͈⁠)

Buttttttt younger me did feel like the 2020 one was bad so here I am , tbh at the time I mainly have issues with how off centre the chin was, now I have issues with how pink the shading was n how half-assed the lineart colouring was like why even use blue lineart if I'm not gonna go over every blue area - . I'll post the speedpaint later I'm trynna test smth out

4 years ago, before I returned to Japan from the US, I visited the Dallas Museum of Art and saw the iconic Dior Palladio dress.

I remembered that I had a Sailor Moon phase when I was little, so I knew that it was Naoko Takeuchi's inspiration for Princess Serenity's gown.

Before I start my blog shenanigans, I believed it to be necessary to make our first media poll! With the media polls, I’ll put 10 different shows on the polls, and watch the 4 shows that end up winning. The show in 5th place, however, is the “runner-up” that will replace a show if I end up dropping it or putting it on hold for one reason or another.
