the art discord i'm in had an event to draw an oc in a 90s anime style. i used ramiya ryou as style inspiration. i feel like her style is quintessential 90s.
i initially planned on doing this digitally but on a whim i decided to print out the line art i did in procreate and do it traditionally. i first tried to do it entirely with alcohol marker, but the deeper shades wouldn't blend out to white like i needed them to, so i did all except the skin in colored pencil. i scanned it back in, cleaned it up, and polished it in procreate to finish it off.
