Not much new out of the Sydney SailGP Press Conference today…Welcome Diago Boutin to the table!
Presenting Rita’s new wrap (picture courtesy of SailGP).
It’s gonna be quite strange to see…
… the Emirates brand on the GreatBritain F50!
SO MANY RED & WHITE BOATS on the water that announcer Todd Harris is gonna get even more confused.
Great for the league and that team, in particular. They certainly don’t seem to have any problem finding sponsorships.
#competitive sailing#sail gp#FlyEmirates GreatBritish team#Rita has gone through more wrap jobs than any F50 in the entire league!#new wrap job for rita#EmiratesBritannia#EmiratesRita#sail gp season 3#sail gp season 2022 2023#sydney australia#sorry todd#todd has come a long way but the red boats continue to fuck him up in the live broadcasts

The Last of Us for PC!
Meanwhile, Ellie and her girlfriend, Dina (Shannon Woodward), search for the brothers. Ellie enters the WLF outpost and witnesses Abby beat Joel to death. Includes the complete The Last of Us single-player story and celebrated prequel chapter, Left Behind, which explores the events that changed the lives of Ellie and her best friend Riley forever.
In The Last of Us Part II, Ellie and Joel join Maria and Tommy's township. He continues his personal mission by contributing as a patrolman, leading the community with Maria, and acting as an extended family for Ellie. Bill is the final survivor of his town, staying behind as other residents either evacuated or succumbed to the infection. His practicality empowered him to fortify his domain against outside threats, whether human or Infected.
Though Yara suffers a broken arm, Abby leaves them to find Owen who, disillusioned with the war, plans to sail to Santa Barbara, California, where Fireflies may be regrouping. Abby returns to rescue Yara the last of us download and Lev, and travels across Seattle with Lev to retrieve medical supplies so Mel can amputate Yara's arm. After the surgery, Lev runs away to convince his devout mother to leave the Seraphite cult.
Suspect it's still loosing money hand over fist but not by as much as you may think. We don't know what percentage are paying full price but GP could be turning 300m a month by my math. An AC mirage plus a load of "cheap" stuff seems like a good month The Last of US PC Download to me. Honestly, why does anyone here care about what Microsoft pays for games on Game Pass - especially if you adamantly oppose anything and everything Microsoft does? It's not as if Microsoft is paying to put it on Game Pass and only Game Pass. During Weeks of the 2022 season, Moss averaged 18.3 touches and 86.5 total yards. One of those games came against the Texans, when Moss scored 21.1 fantasy points. In Week 1, Key posted a 40% PRWR at edge, tied for best at the position.
Was that a function of Key or just that Key was playing against how to download the last of us the Saints' Trevor Penning? If Key has success again, it will not only help the Titans on Sunday but also indicate they got a steal in free agency. Microsoft and Sony are incentivising developers to rely on this cash flow to find a game and direct give them too much of a reason to try. Sony model is meaningful where MS just pours money for the personal data. It is a global business and service so…not that big how to download the last of us amount at the end. Proof for me is that the promotion for the office for 39 lifetime license is going for year and a half now.
All editions of The Last of Us Part I include Left Behind, remade from the ground up. Explore Ellie’s backstory and meet her best friend Riley in our acclaimed single how to download the last of us chapter. Go deeper into the world of The Last of Us on the official site, including character profiles, news, and information on other titles in the series.
Following several leaks, The Last of Us Part I was announced in June 2022 and released for PlayStation 5 in September. It received positive reviews, with praise for its graphical enhancements, facial animations, artificial intelligence, and its added accessibility, audio, and controller options. The response to its gameplay and level design was mixed, and several critics questioned The Last of US PC Download the necessity of a remake, especially considering its price. It received an award at the Visual Effects Society Awards, and nominations at the Game Awards and Golden Joystick Awards. The Windows release in March 2023 was marred by performance problems and received mixed reviews.
Games in the series are among the best-selling PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 games. Are these the kinds of figures that you suspected, or does it seem like crazy money considering gaming subscription numbers have plateaued? Start throwing money about like nobody's business in the comments section below. With three-quarters of the 2023 college football season remaining, there is a lot that can and will change. However, as things stand, the Crimson Tide is not in the best place. What happens to people when they lose their familiar environment in a greenhouse?

FP1: Sainz heads Verstappen in opening Hungarian Grand Prix practice
Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz lay down an early marker as he beat championship leader Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc to the fastest time in opening practice for the Hungarian Grand Prix. The Spaniard clocked a 1m 18.750s to finish 0.130s clear of Verstappen, having sailed to the top after going fastest of all in the final two sectors, with Leclerc only one tenth of a second further back in third. AS IT HAPPENED: All the action from first practice for the Hungarian Grand Prix McLaren’s Lando Norris left it late to bolt on the soft tyres and vaulted up to fourth, 0.5s off the pace at the Hungaroring, host of F1’s final event before the summer break – with team mate Daniel Ricciardo half a second back in eighth having been the stronger of the two on the mediums. The leading Mercedes was George Russell in fifth, ahead of Sergio Perez – who was heard sneezing several times in succession on team radio and saying he had “a bit of an allergy around this place”. The Mexican has more pace, though, having set the fastest opening sector before the lap got away from him on the softs. 1 Carlos Sainz SAI Ferrari 1:18.750 2 Max Verstappen VER Red Bull Racing +0.130s 3 Charles Leclerc LEC Ferrari +0.289s 4 Lando Norris NOR McLaren +0.549s 5 George Russell RUS Mercedes +0.856s Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton was seventh, with the Alpine duo of Esteban Ocon and Fernando Alonso completing the top 10. Sebastian Vettel, who on Thursday announced he will retire from F1 at the end of the year, was 11th, a fraction ahead of team mate Lance Stroll, as Aston Martin spent much of the session running the more durable compounds before turning their attention late onto the soft. ANALYSIS: Why Vettel decided to retire – and who might replace him for 2023 Pierre Gasly beat AlphaTauri team mate Yuki Tsunoda to 13th, with Zhou Guanyu taking the old-spec Alfa Romeo to 15th. His team mate Valtteri Bottas has the new floor this weekend, with Zhou getting it for Spa, but he will have to wait to FP2 to test it, as it was reserve driver Robert Kubica who got the first taste, the Pole ending up 19th. 2022 Hungarian GP FP1: Alonso almost runs into Stroll early on in first practice Alex Albon put his Williams 16th, ahead of Kevin Magnussen, who was running the heavily upgraded Haas, the American team bringing an update package to track for the first time this season. FORM GUIDE: Is Verstappen set to extend his lead in Hungary – or can Ferrari fight back? Mick Schumacher will get the Haas update for Spa – and ended FP1 18th, with the Williams of Nicholas Latifi propping up the timesheets. Who's going to score in the 2022 Hungarian Grand Prix? Not much new out of the Tech Walk and the Press Conference…

… except NZ docked 4 penalty points AGAIN for touching USA boat’s rudder during the practice races (sigh).
Kyle Langford off AUS boat due to back injury (get well Kyle, but enjoy your longish Swedish home stay) but Ed Powys will slip right in, so no real changes or threat to their top of the podium lead.
Canada still narrowly leading the Impact League race. Hannah Mills back from her pregnancy and back on board Team GB boat.
They will be sailing in a 4-person configuration for Saturday and likely for Sunday as well, as winds predicted to be light all weekend.
Some sailors are delighted to be off the boat (Josh Junior) and leaving the grinding to others (Liv Mckay).
My predictions for this weekend:
Top 3 boats to make it to the final will be GBR, DEN and NZ. USA have also be a threat with Rome Kirby back on board, but consistency will be their ever present problem. CAN will also be a definite threat as Phil has sailed here and knows what to expect. SUI may also do better, due to their expertise and coaching for light wind conditions. FRA, SPA and AUS will fizzle out.
For a change, this humble blogger is not staying up for the first day races to watch it live! It is a little too late here in 🇨🇦. Maybe Sunday’s races!

My headline: Christchurch SailGP Contingency and Conservation Controversy Continues.
The latest - 2023May24 NZ article link above.
This originally came to my notice from a 2023May18 article linked below which republished a Newsroom article.
To quickly summarize: Dolphin contingency plan in place approved by NZ Department of Conservation (DOC). Plan involves trained observers in boats, drones and acoustic detectors in the water and DOC observers in the race control booth. Racing of Sail GP vessels to halt (skippers to ensure team boats fall off the foils) if dolphins sited within marine sanctuary waters and also within 300m distances of race markers.
Plan followed and used to adjust practice times and practice races. Also invoked during the first day of racing, which delayed the start of racing (2023Mar18)
Second day of racing (2023Mar19) - no problems. During the final race, a pair of dolphins were sighted by observer boats, possibly within the 300m radius of a certain distance of the final turn marker, while the raceboats turning away from the area of potential sighting towards the finish line near the shore. Canada SailGP team victorious.
April2023 - DOC investigation launched. Conclusion that DOC observers can’t actually be sure that dolphins within the 300m zone and therefore no breach of NZ legislation.
My thoughts on this “controversy”:
A. No one wants to see endangered aquatic species hurt or their behaviour altered due to a sporting event. However, these Hector’s dolphins or any other aquatic species don’t generally wear e-tags. If the drones and/or acoustic detectors didn’t or couldn’t pick up their location during the final race and all they had to go on were the boat observers, of course the DOC observers can’t be sure if there was a breach of the Plan, let alone the NZ legislation. This may be compounded by questions about the dolphin observer boat behaviour throughout the entire event.
B. As an outsider, I was quite surprised at the number of spectator boats on the water at this event. I know that Kiwis love their sailing and power boating, but this would seem to be the one place and time where there was bound to be conflict between spectator boats and “race-sanctioned” boats. My unpopular opinion is to limit access to the area to the Coast Guard, race vessels, support vessels and dolphin observer vessels only. Yes, this would be disappointing to local boat owners that they can’t anchor within designated areas to watch the racing from the water. Back to the harbour, I say and encourage watching from the shore, anchored at the dock or on TV. If you want to hold a race event smack dab in a marine sanctuary, let’s plan to avoid all on-the-water conflict. And if the people aboard the dolphin observer vessels weren’t doing their jobs properly, SailGP and the DOC may want to avoid using them in the future. Possibly drop more acoustic monitors throughout the harbour and use more drones.
C. Why not interviewing the race skippers is not a big deal. Why bother? The final race boat skippers (Peter, Phil/Chris Drapper and Ben or was it Tom?) are concentrating on racing. If they were not notified by race control of a potential dolphin sighting during the final race, they would have no useful information they could add to the DOC investigation. And SailGP race control did not notify them about the reporting sighting and freely submitted that info during the DOC investigation.
D. Racing in a marine mammal sanctuary and in a small busy harbour was always a difficult proposition. Everyone involved has an interest and bias and the media coverage and the sources interviewed are revealing.
Will this cancel the 2025 event planned for Christchurch? Imho no. However, it does sound like the Dolphin Contingency Plan (dolphin vessel spotters help or hindrance? who has the last say- DOC observers or race officials? Was the right call made at the time?) and the Event Plan (local boat presence mucking up the ability of others to do their jobs) will need updating as a matter of continuous improvement.
Keep going SailGP - competitive sailing, event management and conservation interests are all navigable on and off the water. But it definitely takes work!

Amokura has been completely refitted and passed all electrical and hydraulics system testing and is being currently transported by train from Auckland to Christchurch.
Kudos as always to the NZ-Warkwark based Sail GP tech team and Sail GP Global Tech team for their mobilization efforts.
This allows the tech team to get cracking on the rest of the fleets wings as well as the new Canada SailGP boat that were damaged by the microburst at the last event. in Sydney Australia.
Next to last Sail GP event is March 18-19 in Christchurch, NZ. Hope all 9 boats line up with a standard wing configuration.
Gotta find some kiwi snacks to celebrate - which is a tough ask in my part of the world….

Team NZ solidly in second place in the overall Sail GP standings, but Amokura suffers damage from a lightning strike.

*New Zealand penalized 4 season points
*Switzerland penalized 2 season points
*Spain penalized 2 season points
From the NZ Herald:
The NZ boat, ‘Amokura’, was hit by lightning while it was being transported back to the base, while the Kiwi team were onshore picking up their winners’ trophy for the event win.
In the Kiwis’ place, Switzerland driver Sebastien Schneiter, France strategist Manon Audinet and Denmark grinders Luke Payne and Martin Kirketerp were on board helping to transport ‘Amokura’.
Kirketerp, who was touching a shroud at the time, sustained an electric shock and was immediately evacuated for medical assistance.
Schneiter, Audinet and Payne, who were not injured, were evacuated from the F50 and did not return on board until after the storm had passed.
After undergoing tests and overnight observation, Kirketerp was discharged from hospital and appears to be okay.
New Zealand SailGP co-CEO and wing trimmer Blair Tuke said he was thankful no one was seriously harmed by the incident.
Amokura suffered extensive damage from the strike and it is uncertain whether she can be repaired and ready for the Sydney Sail GP event in mid-February.

Alright, alright.
Can anyone tell me why the heck on Friday January 13th, 2023, the Singapore newspaper, The Straits Times, used this particular photo of Pete and Blair to accompany an article about Pete as the helm of the NZ Sail GP team?
This photo is 10 years outta date, and there are literally thousands of more current photos of them, together and separately, on line since they were both on Team Korea. What they couldn’t find any non-copyrighted images to use since then? Please.
Is this some sort of Asian solidarity photo pact among the “free” press?
Anyway, glad the Straits Times thinks that they remain couple goals!
