About: Saiful Muluk (Urdu: جھیل سیف الملوک‎) is a mountainous lake located at the northern end of the Kaghan Valley, near the town of Naran in the Saiful Muluk National Park. At an elevation of 3,224 m (10,578 feet) above sea level, the lake is located above the tree line, and is one of the highest lakes in Pakistan. Folklore: The Lake Saiful Muluk is named after a legendary prince. NARAN KAGAN

These towns are located in KPK and are considered to be the most beautiful parts of Northern Pakistan. They have jaw-dropping views. These valleys are open for tourists for a limited time period starting from 1st June to 31 august and other than this period the roads are covered with snow and are next to impossible to drive on these roads.

There is public transport running in these time periods in order to promote tourism, jeeps, rent a car and taxis from Mansehra will take you to Naran Kaghan.

The people are very generous and hospitable. The main source of income is based on tourism, they have cottage industries where men and women make handicrafts. Their carved walnuts are very renowned. Just like mall road, Murree it also has a bazaar where you can find all necessities of life along with all traditional items.

Naran Kaghan has a number of places to visit which are truly blessings from nature and one can have peace of mind by visiting these places. These are the place one must visit when in Naran Kaghan, lake Saif-ul-malook, Shogran, Lalazur, Siri Paye, River Kunhar, Dudipatsar, Babusar top and Ansoo Jheel. Fishing is the main sport in these areas.

Mostly, tourists are served with charcoal food and freshly made mutton/chicken karahi. Trout Fish is also very famous in this region. You can’t leave this place without having the pakoras with rich local taste.
