I have a 600-ish page book I really need to finish reading for this summer research thingy, but I'm procrastinating so clearly the best course of action was drawing sussy royed fanart---because obviously 💀💀 Oml, seriously tho, I should be JAILED for this, lmasjkd. Unironically some of the most scandalous fanart I've ever made, so it was legitimately embarrassing af to draw, askjd. Not very demure.

angsty hopeless romantic Roy, who thinks poetic romantic thoughts about fullmetal in his head and angst over their love never being able to happen. Meanwhile Ed is counting down the days till he can leave the military so he can finally jump Roy. Boy had a crush since day one. Like Edward saw this idiot colonel being useless in the rain and thought. That one, that one's mine. No questions no brainer.

During the peace talks between Amestris and Xerxes Roy and Ed fall in love but they are arranged to marry others so they can provide heirs and tighten the bonds between their countries. So now they yearn desperately for each other but they know they can’t be. Balls like the one they are attending in the photo are both heaven for letting them meet and hell because they can’t touch.

Royed thoughts:

Another thing that's my favorite in Royed fics, the slow gradual process of Ed going from Calling Roy "Bastard/Colonel Bastard," to "Roy". Like it gets me in the feels everytime! Because him calling him Roy is the sign that he trusts him!! Another thing I love, Roy being one of the few people that gets to call Ed "Edward." To most people it's Ed or Fullmetal. But Roy calls him Edward. Especially in that Mustang voice. Just the use of first names as a sign of trust is everything to me with Royed! But especially coming from Ed.
