Zalzol meeting the Realm Rulers
i just thought a Confused Vizerxa would be funny lol
Xeqivu Zalzol, the 'Judge' of the Realm Cluster that had apparently existed before even Other-Realm, sat at the circular table of Other-Realm and Drakerivelm's Realm Rulers. Ceriex Saecula, Ruler of Xerivelm, sat to their left, and Soleil Féinics of Saliirvelm sat on Zalzol's other side. Across from Zalzol sat Vizerxa Mortem, the unofficial Leader of Salha. To the draconic's left was Zeteo Gnosis of Valarae. The Leader of Abyss was absent, as were several of Other-Realm's Leaders.
Zalzol had only just finished explaining their Realm Cluster and the logic and laws of it.
Ceriex seemed thoughtful, arms folded in her lap, Soliel was clearly lost, Zeteo was fascinated, leaning forward in his seat at Zalzol's explanation, and Vizerxa seemed to be confused and contemplating something, her elbows resting on the surface of the table, palms pressed against each other in front of her face.
".. What's wrong, Vizerxa?" Zalzol asks, head tilted, frowning slightly. From her previous meeting with the Salhan, she knew Vizerxa to be incredibly smart. Surely he didn't mess up explaining badly enough that even she didn't understand?
"... Your God's name is Xalau, which I'm presuming to be Elovuxen. Either 'first god', or an altered version of 'False god'. Your name is Elovuxen as well, translating to 'The Shadow Death Tries to Create'. Your species name and the Xekolus are Elovuxen as well; 'Vengeance judge' and 'false guardians'... 'Velm' is an Elovuxen suffix meaning 'Realm'. So, what do the prefixes of your Realms' names mean? 'Quen', 'Ceare', 'Ajor', 'Felro', 'Zelu'... they're certainly not Elovuxen, though they sound like they are. I doubt they're Greek either. ..Did your realm names change over time with language switches and misspells, or did you have an ancient version of Elovuxen..?" Vizerxa explains, frowning behind her hands. She knew that the inclusion of Elovuxen at all meant that Zenza was the true creator of Xalau's worlds, so a 'beta version' of Elovuxen wouldn't be too suprising.
Vizerxa stands up, hands on the table, eyes narrowed with a glimmer of frustration, "What in the stars name was Ajor meant to mean?"
"I.. am unsure.. I know that other names have gotten lost in translation, like Timorós's for the Mortals, but I'd have to ask Chrysós to go through the records to find any possible changes in the Realm names," Zalzol hums, frowning slightly. Vizerxa nods slightly in response.
Zeteo pauses, thinking, before turning to look at Vizerxa, "..Your Realm's name doesn't have a translation either, Vizerxa. 'Sal' is not an Elovuxen or latin prefix, and neither is 'ha'. Other-Realm's naming of it as Xeqivelm makes more sense than 'Salha'."
"Correct, and that bothers me just as much. I'd ask Z to consult the Archives for Salha's name origin, but I fear they'd kick me out again," Vizerxa admits.
Ceriex frowns, now confused as well, "Vizerxa, my friend... How many entities do you know, and how?"

I've done it. I've reconciled inconsistent Nihil Lore.
Ok so most of us know and have laughed at the discrepancy between "his father's father's father" and the Dance Macabre video. In the latter, it seemed Young Nihil was just some random (un?)lucky dude that Young Seestor decided should be Papa.
But what if, and hear me out, what if Seestor knew something he didn't that night? What if she knew who he was, but he didn't? And it was only after the party that night that he learned about his father's father's father?

Round 1 Poll 24
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet consectetur adipiscing elit. (Etiam eget ligula eu lectus lobortis condimentum. Aliquam nonummy auctor massa. Pellentesque habitant morbi tristique senectus et netus et malesuada fames ac turpis egestas. Nulla at risus. Quisque purus magna, auctor et, sagittis ac, posuere eu, lectus. Nam mattis, felis ut adipiscing).
"there is no one who loves pain, who seeks after it, wants to have it simply because it is pain" : for the part adapted from Cicero (and not in the parenthesis here), the rest is gibberish
Lorem ipsum is a common placeholder text to demonstrate a typeface/visual form of a document without using content with actual meaning
In saecula saeculorum
"Unto the ages of ages"
Expresses the idea of eternity, or an indeterminate number of time
It's a Bible phrase I don't remember from where but it is in the New Testament. BUT i heard it. more at the church and when old ladies and people raised by grandmas are complaining about long periods of wait/expectation is very funny

⸻ Doom folded his arms, perhaps a hint to not exactly agreeing with the Colonel. He could see where he was coming from, he respected the man for his career, wits and skills, but from time to time even Doom had to disagree.
Both did remarkable work together even if, yes, there was no one greater, better than Doom himself. But given time and successful results between their collaborations, Doom couldn’t help but start to take a certain…liking to the Colonel. The information Zemo provided allowed Doom to be one step ahead of everyone else (although, he insisted, he always had been one step ahead of everyone), but he had to give it to Zemo for making it way easier for him to get access to Stark tech.
“Doom sees where you are coming from, Colonel. However, I must disagree this time.”
When had he gotten so soft with his opinions?
“Our collaboration must continue. It benefits both of us, Doom is sure you see it as well.”

The Council's Aid
Soliel sighed in relief, perched on one of the wooden supports of the wood-and-rope bridge suspended high above the ground, as he sees the six Council Members plus Exeveru step out of the portal, Ceriex at the head. The calm and collected Xerivelm Ruler already looked to be planning strategies and what to say, their eyes narrowed in thought and their irises staying one solid color for one of the first times since Soliel had met the Origin.
"It's always great to see your face, Vurxe Ceriex, and thank you for heeding the call. My forces are doing what they can right now, but we all know we can't fight Xalqikenxes on our own," The Phoenix King says, standing up fully. For once he wasn't smiling, instead frowning in concern. The Avian Overlords were focused on holding the Xalqikenxes back as best they can, and it wasn't safe to spare any fighters to get civilians away for now.
He could still hear the battles below them, and Conrad and the other Overlords issuing orders and commands.
Ceriex just nods, "Of course, King Soliel. It's our job, and it's always a pleasure to serve."
They turn to the Council, voice ringing out clearly, "Amy, Amber, you three focus on getting civilians away and out of here. If I remember correctly, there should be safe points above the treetops. Vulpes, you focus on helping clear the path for them. Most healthy Avians should be able to fly out on their own and help their family, but you three get any injured, young, and elderly out. Protect as many of them as you three can; I trust you, and it'll get safer the higher up you get. Start at the lower levels of the city, obviously."
They then turn to Dominus, Exeveru, and Sidera as the other three nod and run off to fulfill the order, "Dominus, Exeveru, you two help the Overlords and push back the Xalqikenxes. Dominus, you have enough control over your flames to use them to create bright light without burning the forest down. Exeveru, you use light manipulation. The Overlords only have torches and skill, and though they're strong, they aren't a match for whatever the hell Xalqikenxes are. You two spread out and help whoever's struggling the most."
Both Origins nod, jumping over the side of the bridge to quickly get down to the conflicts. Ceriex looks at Sidera, "You, somewhere in-between. Guard the bridges and passageways, let Avians get through and out, and keep the Xalqikenxes from advancing further up." Ceriex doesn't check that Sidera's obeying as they draw their bow, notching an arrow as they perch on the wood support near Soliel.
Sidera sighs in exasperation, rolling their eyes to further portray their boredom, "I'm not sure why you want me here... I mean, if anything I might just help the Xalqikenxes... it's been a while since Saliirvelm has had a major tragedy"
Ceriex whips around to glare at Sidera, their coal-black eyes smoldering as they growl, "I do not care what you wish to do, Parasite. You will obey today. Am I understood, Finem?"
Sidera takes a step back, ears flicking flat against their head as they chuckle nervously, ".. Understood, C-Ceri... I was just joking, of course.."
"It was not a funny joke. If I find out any Avians die because of you or under your watch today... Let's just say, the Sorcerers will have a lifetime supply of Royal Origin blood for their spells," Ceriex says coldly, voice still commanding. It was clear they were fed up with Sidera's antics by now, and Soliel had to wonder how they stayed calm so long.
Sidera nods, glancing down at the wooden planks below them, ears still flat against their head, almost blending into its hair, "fine, fine..."
Sidera sighs, jumping off the bridge to get lower in the city.
"I still wonder how you control them so well," Soliel murmurs, drawing his bow as Ceriex had, "the current Council is probably the most disorganized assortment of beings, yet you keep them in check for important things quite well."
"Practice, my friend, just practice," Ceriex chuckles softly, aiming before she fires an arrow, quickly notching another and shooting it as well, further away, and repeating the process again. After several seconds, there's a bright flash of light down below from the substance that tipped Ceriex's arrows combusting on impact. The light flash is soon followed by two more, further and further away from the bridge they were perched on.
Soliel winces slightly at the shrieking of the Xalqikenxes, audible even from their high perch, as they burn in the bright light. Ceriex doesn't even show any reaction, continuing to aim and shoot, skillfully– or even just luckily – avoiding shooting any Avians or allies, just bare ground and the weird, shadowy monsters. They don't even bat an eye as Avians retreat past them, fleeing up to the treetops, presumably from the Council's aid allowing them.
A couple hours later, Ceriex was out of arrows, but the City was safe, the Xalqikenxes driven back and out with the help of the seven Origins. The seven stand in the center of the city, healers tending to the injured around them. Ceriex and Amy help dress wounds as Soliel watches everyone with a weary smile. No one was completely uninjured, other than the three Royal Origins, who's regeneration helped them stay in perfect health even in this battle. Sidera was still pouting from the missed chance to destroy another city, though.
"Thank you again, old friend," Soliel smiles to Ceriex, "we wouldn't have won without your help."
Ceriex smiles back as they look up, their eyes once again slowly shifting between colors now that they were more relaxed, "it's no problem, really. It's our job, and as I'd said; I'm glad to help. Call upon us at any time, and we'll answer."

What would you say is the earliest church heresy? Like, the original big no-no
Oh see now you've hit an interesting little rabbit hole without realizing it, because we know both a whole lot and also not much about the early days of the Christian church as we understand it.
So this faith leader guy gets executed or whatever, right? And now you have a bunch of his post-postmortem followers running around spreading his branch of weird Judaism which gets twisted into the first beginnings of Messianic Christianity. But this is back in ye olde days, and also the Romans are gonna be killing any Christians they can find, so the earliest days of the church are mystery cults sporadically popping up like mushrooms. (Is the Holy Spirit like a mycelial network? Who can say)
One of these early Christians was a very popular guy named Arius. Arius told his followers that Jesus WAS born of God, but that he was NOT God himself (the word you're looking for vis a vis that relationship is that Jesus is consubstantial with God, as in, made of the same simultaneous divinity.) and therefore should not be worshipped as one would God.
Then some time passes and all the big bishops of this hot new gig called Christianity realize, wait, hold on, we need to get shit straightened out. We can't ALL be calling ourselves Christian when people are saying Jesus was a hologram, or that he was born of God but isnt God, or that he was just some guy that God really liked. We need to all sit down and decide what we as a unified and universal group believe about our religion. So they all go down to this little place called Nicaea where everyone hashes out exactly what they believe in as Christians, and the end result is that Arius was shot down, which is why in the Nicene Creed there's that one specific line that goes something like this:
Et in unum Dominum Iesum Christum, Filium Dei unigenitum, ex Patre natum ante omnia saecula. Deum de Deo, Lumen de Lumine, Deum verum de Deo vero, genitum non factum, consubstantialem Patri; per quem omnia facta sunt.
Sharp eyes may have spotted that special little word consubstantialem in there. The earliest founders of the early church basically made certain that in their formalized dogma, Arianism would always be called heretical, because Jesus' position in the trinity requires him to be equal to but distinct from the Father. All of trinitarian Christianity agrees that Arianism is a no go.
Personally I do think we should have more Judasian heresies though. Like I guess I get why so many early heresies are centered around the nature of the trinity and specifically J Dog but it does begin to grate.
