every time someone mentions that the cybertuck is bulletproof i lose a few braincells, you could make many thing bulletproof doesnt mean you should, and bullets hit a little different than a wall or another vehicle. i could add a metal plate to the back of my monitor and it would be bulletproof, it would not protect the panel at all and would infact make it more dangerous as now a drop would certainly shatter the panel, your vehicle is only as strong as its weakest link and the link is always YOU!
Edit: it couldnt accurately manage 90 miles towing in the cold, the standard range is 340 miles, very usable truck not inconsistant or unreliable at all!
And they didnt even get to a charger that can accept towing trucks, have fun paying extra to unlatch your cargo in the freezing cold!
... why is the charging port located 1 inch from the weel well? Trucks kick rubble, especially when towing have fun breaking your port.
#cybertuck#watching cybertuck reviews#sad state of review channels#jerryrigeverything#like i get it you shill for a job jerry but please be real with us you dont even own it#loud and glitchy#costs more than comparable electric vehicles#and having my steering being eletronic only sounds fucking scary#electric truck#electric vehicle#tesla#if i see you irl with one i will point and laugh#ita just hideous from every angle#and that towing panel is gonna fall of in transit good luck!

I know I'm SO late to the party, but In light of the hbomberguy video, I wanted to drop a list of some of my favorite video essayists on here who are all great. Some are well known, some of them not, but all deserve a lot of love thrown their way!
Any creators I know are Queer will have a * next to their names if that's what you're looking for! (Note some of them might not have a star that should, that's not me trying to invalidate anybody I just didn't know, please feel free to correct me!)
Dominic Noble- book content! Has a series called Lost in Adaptation that judges how faithful movie adaptations of books were to their original source material, but also does some reviews/summaries as well. Very publicly denounced JKR after she was revealed to be a TERF and stated he will no longer review anything by her on his channel. Also deleted ALL of his HP videos after finding out she was a TERF (which were his most popular videos), so I have a really deep respect for him tbh. Former Channel Awesome member who publicly denounced them on several occasions, and an all around swell guy.
*Overly Sarcastic Productions- channel run by 2 people who go by Red and Blue. History and Mythology/Literature content, as well as analysis of tropes and media! I've been told their History content can be a bit... Iffy, but I'm not a Historian so I don't know, however if they get something wrong they're good about correcting it for what that counts for. Very interesting to listen to, I've watched Red's Videos roughly 100 times each. Also has a podcast.
*Strange Aeons- fandom/Tumblr history mostly, as well as some history, and weird businesses too. Reads a LOT of cursed content for her channel.
*Lindsay Ellis- Media/film analysis. obviously not as unknown as some of the others on here, but I absolutely adore her content and will forever be sad that she isn't on YouTube anymore.
Cruel World Happy Mind- MLM/explanation of controversial figures. I'm not sure how best to explain her content, but she seems genuinely lovely and is interesting to listen to. Also a victim of Illuminaughtii's ire and deserves some love. The video she made on Blair is a bit outdated since she made it at the start of when this all came to light, but imo it's definitely worth a watch. Her talking about her interaction with Blair genuinely broke my heart.
*Night Mind- Analog horror/Unfiction/ARG content! Analyzes and explains various internet horror pieces, and also has a very nice voice to listen to.
*Lola Sebastian- Film/Media Analysis!
Li Speaks- Deep dives into various nostalgia, mainly flash games!
*Princess Weekes- Media/film/literary analysis!
abitfrank- summaries and analysis of various "darker" children's content such as Coraline (book and movie), Nightmare Before Christmas, and various dark fairy tales
Hello Future Me- writing advice and world building information!
Curious Archive- deep dives into the various bestiaries of video games and the animals in real life that they're similar to, I love his Subnautica video!
In Praise of Shadows- Horror media analysis! Will often focus on specific franchises, but also covers things like horror comics and tropes as well.
Wait in the Wings- theatre! Deep dives into the back stories behind the production of various musicals! His video on Rogers the Musical that he did for April Fool's last year is comedy fucking gold
Weird Reads With Emily Louise- conspiracy theory/cult/weird thing analysis! Looks at things from an objective and skeptical view, and is very in depth. Recently served as a consulting producer on an HBO Max documentary on the Love has Won cult.
Ask a Mortician- death content! Covers various historical events and darker stories of death from the view of a Mortician.
*Izzzyzz- deep dives into fandoms, as well as well as different video games and kids' virtual worlds.
Disney Dan- Disney content! Covers the history of different mascot costumes at Disney and Disney-like parks! Has collaborated with Definctland in the past too!
Yesterworld- theme park content! Discusses history behind rides and parks, as well as some Disney movies. I think has also collaborated with Defunctland and Disney Dan?
Legal Eagle- legal content! Breaks down news about ongoing legal cases in a way that feels approachable. I like him because both my parents are paralegals and his videos have helped me understand what they mean when they're talking about work a little bit
Super Eye patch Wolf- media video essays! Mostly about anime/manga and video games, but also covers things like influencer scams and pro wrestling. His "what the internet did to Garfield" video is SO GOOD
*Jessie Gender- Media Analysis, loves Star Trek
*Laura Crone- Media Analysis video essays, her videos on the Swan Princess are fucking great I highly recommend!
*Lady Emily- Media Analysis, did a whole video on Spuder-Man turn off the dark that is SO good. Co writer for Sarah Z
Tale Foundry- covers different forms of fiction, their xenofiction video is great, as is their Angelarium one!
Defunctland- Theme Park ride and Children's TV History channel!
Jenny Nicholson- one of the sort of "big three" commentary channels with Lindsay Ellis and Sarah Z imo, covers all sorts of stuff but her most recent one is a 3 hour video on the theme park Evermore Park!
*Sarah Z- Fandom history and Media analysis! I really enjoy their content, the Johnlock Conspiracy and DashCon videos are my favorites!
Li Speaks- Flash games/virtual world analysis mostly! She has a very soothing voice to listen to, if you played like. Any MMOs or virtual worlds growing up I Highly recommend. I've watched her video on Horseland SO many times.
*Codex Entry- Video game coverage! Her videos on Pathologic are great if you're like me and wanted more after the Hbomberguy video!
Wendigoon- ARG/Spooky content! One of the early proponents of the Mandela Catalog and best known for his conspiracy theory iceberg, but has also covered things like various weird/unsolved crimes, Assassination conspiracies, and other things. His videos on Faith, Blood Meridian, The Mandela Catalog, and his Religion/Cult iceberg are some of my favorites
Dino Diego- Dinosaur fiction, like movies, video games, books, short stories, etc. his 2 videos on West of Eden and Winter in Eden are two of my favorites!
Haley Whipjack- I don't know how to describe her content really? She does a lot of deep dives (her Shrek one is my favorite), currently doing a recap of Once Upon a Time by season that is very fun. She's an elementary school teacher by day (that's not me dozing her she talks about it on her channel), and so she has fun unhinged teacher energy!
Other channels that are a sort of collection of different people talking about different things rather than 1 or 2:
TEDx
PBS
The Exploring Series

HAPPY 30TH BIRTHDAY ANIMANIACS!!!!!
I just want to say how truly amazed I am with this show. There are very few words that can describe it. I put a few in the picture seen above, but this is barely anything compared to everything I've said. Animaniacs has changed my life in ways that many shows can only dream of. And I'm thrilled to be here today to celebrate its legacy.
I wasn't born in the 90's. I didn't grow up with this show like I know a ton of people did. I was exposed to it, mainly through the Hub Network ads for reruns, the once-in-a-while YouTube video reference, and even in fifth grade when my teacher showed us a clip of "Wakko's America" for our state capital test (which by the way I passed). I didn't acknowledge this show's presence, at least until 2020. That was a rough year, not only for me, but for everyone. Online school sucked. I couldn't see my friends. I was always crying myself to sleep and staying up late just watching videos to wash away my sadness and hurting. It was hell. I didn't have any comfort. At the absolute worst of times around October, I saw that one of my favorite channels posted a video on the trailer for the reboot of a show called Animaniacs. I was curious, mostly since I'd never heard about it before (well, I thought I hadn't). But the way the characters looked and the amount of people talking about it got me interested enough to click on the video. I listened to the reviewer's thoughts, not really understanding much, yet still being enticed to continue. I watched the actual trailer afterwards and...the rest is history.
I instantly fell in love. I watched the trailer on repeat before the reboot's release, laughing and singing along. I researched the show more and discovered a ton of voice actors I knew. I loved the characters, especially Yakko, I listened to the songs, I watched the interviews, and I talked about it constantly to my family and friends. While I didn't have Hulu, I still kept up with the reboot quite heavily. For Christmas, I got my first piece of merch, a T-shirt, and I got the first 25 episodes of the original show. I watched them on repeat with my sister and we both laughed, sang, and danced around whenever the show came on. After taking a fandom break, I got back into the show in 2021, which came with a new appreciation for Pinky and The Brain and fanfiction. Around this time, I was finally able to watch the reboot and entire original series since I got Hulu. My merchandise collection expanded, my knowledge of the show grew exponentially, and my desire to contribute to the fandom was intense. Not much has changed since then. Granted my merchandise collection is bigger, I can do impressions of a few characters, I met some of the voice actors, I joined the community on Tumblr, I actually wrote some fanfiction, and I've seen so many Animaniacs episodes now that it'll make your head spin. I'm so proud to be a super fan.
My appreciation and adoration for the Animaniacs franchise knows no bounds. It changed my life in amazing ways. And I can't believe its thirty years old today. I'm struggling to keep my emotions in right now, it's all so surreal. So, to all my followers I encourage you to give this show all your love today. It deserves it. Thank you Animaniacs. Thank you so much for everything you've done. You have made me a better individual and have fueled my love of animation for nearly three years. I hope you continue to inspire many more like me to laugh, be silly, and sing "Yakko's World" to pass a geography test. Animaniacs is the greatest show of all time, and I'll never stop saying that. (Ps. this isn't the last Animaniacs Anniversary related post I'm making! The next one will be long! And I'll also be showcasing my Animaniacs merch collection! Stay tuned!) Goodnight Everybody!!
#animaniacs#animaniacs 30th anniversary#this show is everything to me#i'm so happy it has lasted this long#pinky and the brain#I love this show so much#I hope y'all love it too!!

Nivi!!! Since you are so diligently sticking to your schedule (you’re so inspiring babes), I thought I should at the very least try to get this review to you on time too! Imma just combine parts 5 & 6 in this one so apologies if gets too long. Also, I haven’t really had a chance to scroll and read through other people’s reviews for part 5 so I’m so sorry if I end up repeating what everyone else may have already said.
FIRST OF ALL, Back to December as the lyric reference for Part 5 was *chef’s kiss* - mainly because that’s gotta be one of my top Taylor songs of all time, ah the wistfulness 🥲
DREW cameo!! The only one with brain cells. Cause he’s right, they’re all stupid! (But we love them anyway).
“Please don’t get married Paigey,” Drew pleads, gripping his sister’s hand, “please.” – this really got me though. Poor Drew, like he never imagined he’d be having to witness his sister ever marry someone who wasn’t Azzi too! He just wanted his pookie back 🥺
Paige finding out about Azzi’s pregnancy through TikTok feels very on-brand lmao (ugh does that mean there were Olivia and Paige edits once upon a time 🥴), and them still commenting congratulations on each other’s post about the engagement and the pregnancy to keep up the friendly act killed me. Could. Not. Be. Me.
Katie and Paige interactions have my whole heart. Whenever I think about them, I always end up thinking about that immunity booster video so I’m glad it got the mention in part 5!
What is it with you and these damn phone calls, Nivi!! “You’re gonna be a wonderful wife P.” “You’re gonna be an amazing mom Az.” – once again, cue “and it would have been sweet, if it could have been me”. WELL IT COULD HAVE IF Y’ALL WEREN’T BEING STUPID (sorry, had to channel my inner Drew there).
“Please don’t speak in riddles. It’s 10 a.m and I’m sad,” Paige whines. She might be in her early thirties but there’s something about Katie Fudd that makes Paige feel like it’s okay to be a bit of a child. – Obsessed with this because I just feel like you perfectly captured their relationship with this line.
“You’re so goddamn dramatic Bueckers,” Katie rolls her eyes –so real for this cause Paige really was being dramatic af since Azzi left with Stephie. Standing on the porch for way-too-long just staring into the distance then breaking down in the fort and not moving for 3 hours. DRAMATIC. But like sad 😔
The comparison between Paige’s expression when talking about Stephie and Tim’s when he first met Azzi. I was waiting for something like this! My heart.
Steph (old) cameo! I’ll allow it, cause despite my hatred for the Warriors, I do loooove that man.
“What defense can a 5 year old play…” – idk why but I had a good chuckle at this, I just love when you pull these one-liners, the comedic timing is impeccable.
Katie with some GREAT lines too.
Pleaseee, not the UNCLE TWIN and TWIN NIECE 😆 I knoww Steph (man) loves the fact that his goddaughter, who’s prolly gonna go on and be a Golden State legend herself, is named after him.
I know it’s super cute, but I do be cracking up a lil everytime Stephie and Paige reunite cause it’s always so goddamn dramatic. Like girly pops please, it’s barely been 24 HOURS 😭
Yeah, Paige gonna be SPOILING her queen and their princess forever.
THEY KISSED.
I may or may not always let out an undignified squeal when I see a high school era flashback. Like those are always my favourites fr. You just never fail to make them feel so nostalgic.
Their first kiss, damn Paige really been a lover girl since 16 huh 🥹 Also the transition from their first kiss to what could be their last first kiss was perfection!
Although, idk if the “slow” that Katie had in mind meant kissing already but hey, they’re moving!
Look, as long as we get at least one cute family scene with our fave trio then that’s all the serotonin I really need for the day (week) and the scene with the flowers and the car seat was exactly that, pure serotonin.
Paige and the Fudds reunion 🥰
Stephie really is ride-or-die for her perfect Miss Buecks!
“Dumbapples” – LMAOOOO sometimes the brain cells just don’t always be braincelling.
And they finally get a redo on that sleepover, where no one leaves, at least not until pancakes have been served.
What’s next?
I’ve been thinking about the break-up too much- like when in 2025? Was it during the season? So before the natty?? But like there’s no way you could be that cruel, Nivi! You couldn’t have them finally winning the natty only for them to be heartbroken while doing so?
Or worse, have them win the natty and make P think she’s got everything she could ever want only for that to come crashing down not long after??
But like definitely pre-draft night maybe?? I guess that would make sense with Azzi overthinking things and worrying about being left behind? Sorry, am just thinking out loud atp!
But like were there already cracks forming even earlier in that year?? Cause if so, I’m curious about Paige’s proposal and the timing of it hmmm. My braincells are attempting to be braincells.🧠
I’m still awaiting that Drew and Azzi reunion cause Drew being so heartbroken that he really tried to stop the wedding all by himself hurt me. I can imagine for Drew too, how much he probably looked to Paige and Azzi as his ideal of what a relationship and love is, only for them to fall apart as well. Plus seeing how close irl Drew is to the Fudds makes me big sad for GH Drew 😞
I can’t wait for Coach P and Player Stephie dynamics!! The favouritism is really not gonna be subtle no matter how hard Paige tries 😃
Soooo, Part 6 was suspiciously too fluffy ya know, I feel like you’re just setting us up. Giving us a taste of joy, only to rip it from us next chapter. I’m on evil writer Nivi watch.
Favourite lines/quotes:
“Did I know that my granddaughter goes to her godfather’s special camp for the sport that her mother plays and she’s obsessed with?”
Because the view in front of them is beautiful but Paige’s eyes are on Azzi and she’s staring at her as if the view is nothing in comparison. – side note: this line and this scene made me nostalgic for the stargazing scene in the UCLA fic 🥹
Alright bestie, this review is a biiig boi but I thought I owed you for being late with the part 5 review so hopefully this makes up for it a little! Also, I’ll prolly be late in reviewing the next one if (when 🤞) it’s out next week cause life is lifing so I’m sorry in advance 😭
Thank you as always for keeping us warm and fed! Hope you’re doing well btw!! Is the baby fever still at a high? Cause I was at the park with my friend and her 1-yr old the other day and omg he was being the sweetest little bean ever and the baby fever was FEVERING but then I realised I’m a baby (adult) too so I promptly brought the fever back to reality 😅
Love ya Nivi, have a great week ahead bestie 💗
-🙋♀️
BABES HELLOOO <3 I've been waiting for your thoughts!
This whole fic is very Back to December coded and it's one of my top 5s too and it just fit so well with chapter 5
#FreeDrewBueckersFromDumbassPaigeyAndPookie my poor little man was traumatized and they need to make it up to him immediately
I LOVE KATIE FUDD. And she just gives such entertaining chaotic mom energy and I feel like especially with Paige, she really keep that girl humble (and holds her when she needs it)
The 1 references galore because while I won't subject y'all to an actual depressing fic, I simply can't stop myself from adding the vibes
LMAO Steph is so universally loved I kinda adore that man and he'll be making an appearance again at some point I think.
Listen Stephie and Paige are the definition of matching each other's freak except it's matching each other's dramatics like they're gonna run into each other's arms like they haven't seen each other in years every damn time
Katie tried to nudge them and didn't realize all these idiots needed was a tap to literally full-speed a head (well with some breaks of course)
I cackled writing dumbapples ngl
The marriage proposal is definitely before the draft...that's all you're getting lol
Y'all think Azzi's guilty now when no one's even saying anything to her, just wait for Drew Bueckers and his way with words :)
I am also very excited for more Curry Camp scenes!
I don't think anyone loves or understand the stargazing the scene the way you do babes and I appreciate it <3
Ah lovie, review whenever you can. Even if it's months and month later, I will still be just as excited to read your thoughts!
The baby fever is in fact still higkey baby fever-ing and I don't know how and when it'll stop but I'm not even really trying to stop it.

A Girl Who Loves and Leaves: An Album Review of Nicole by Niki
by Sam Castillo
Born in Jakarta and currently based in Los Angeles, Niki goes back to her roots in Indonesia with her second album entitled Nicole. Nicole Zefanya, known as Niki, is a rising Indonesian pop, r&b, and folk singer who is currently signed with the popular Asian record label: 88Rising. Her album, Nicole, features 12 alternative folk-pop tracks - with all of it featuring her undeniable talent for storytelling as she recounts fun memories growing up in Jakarta as well as the pain of leaving things and people behind. Moreover, Niki collaborates with her younger self in this album as the singer had stated that the first half of the album features new songs and the latter half features her songs that she had posted in her YouTube channel in her early days of becoming a musician - thus bridging the gap between two different eras of her life and career.
The album opens with the first song entitled Before which foreshadows the central theme of the album about how things in her life have changed. It predominantly features a sad-sounding guitar that silently strums as Niki says her lines. The song starts with her recounting memories of her first long-distance relationship. However, as the song progresses, problems in the relationship arise and it becomes clear to Niki that their relationship has changed. Despite the lyrics full of mourning and sadness, it is contrasted with an upbeat and fun tune. The line “It's so cruel how things are only almost like they were before” makes it clear why Niki had chosen this song to open the album; letting the audience know that this album tackles the changes she had to face in her life - more specifically in her romantic love life.
Following the first song is High School in Jakarta which is a fun and upbeat tune that features Niki recounting her days in Jakarta by addressing an older boy that she had dated before. Despite addressing her ex in the song, the song’s theme isn’t centered about romantic love but rather her stories growing up in Jakarta before she left to study abroad. The percussions in the song gives staccato breaks which results in the song’s cheery feel.
A standout song of the album is Backburner which features themes of feeling forgotten in a relationship. The song features dynamic sounds as the song progresses from quiet to busy with multiple instruments to convey the building up of emotions - one notable instrument being the drums that help build up the emotions of the song in the chorus. Niki’s lyrical ability shines in this song as she perfectly tells the story of a forgotten love to the audience, making it so much more relatable.
Continuing with the theme of the end of relationships, Keeping Tabs is an upbeat song that deals with the topic of the difficulty of letting go of a past relationship. Here, she continues Backburner’s storyline post-breakup, showing a cheeky perspective that not all breakups are linear and that it is hard to completely cut out a person from one’s life. A highlight of this song is the upbeat drum which features percussive breaks that help the song become more lively.
The album then takes a slower and mellow pace as the songs that follow are all soulful and sad songs that one would listen to when grieving an ex-lover. The Apartment We Won’t Share, Facebook Friends, Anaheim, Milk Teeth, Autumn, Oceans & Engines, and On the Drive Home all share similar themes of regret over actions made in a past relationship, as well as the acknowledgment of needing to move on when one knows that a relationship is doomed to fail.
Take A Chance With Me closes the album with a stark contrast from the sad mellow songs that came before it. Unlike the previous songs that surrounds an end of a relationship, the last song of the album takes a hopeful turn for the singer as she sings about a promising start of a new relationship. Like the start of the album, Before, the last song also features a guitar that highly influences the tone of the song. Unlike it, however, the guitar is more playful which upholds a more gleeful tone. Moreover, the song is more upbeat and holds a soulful tune - a tune that most would assume is what a sunrise of a new day would sound like.
Looking at the album as a whole, an arc can be established: finding love to having to fight for it, yet having it eventually taken away. This storyline is delivered by the Indonesian singer in a confessional style, building up the dynamics and emotions of the song from light melodies to a crescendo of built-in emotions that are dying to be let out.
Niki has always been an artist who leans more on creating music that surrounds her love life, more specifically the failures within it, but it was clear that in her previous album, entitled Moonchild, she was slowly pulling away from her comfort zone as themes of the songs were diverse and focused on her own journey. Moreover, it was clear she was experimenting with elements and instruments as songs from this album strayed away from what you would expect in pop or r&b songs as it had a mysterious feel to it. However, in Nicole, we see that Niki takes a few steps back from the steps she took in Moonchild and went back to her old ways and in her comfort zone - which is to sing about gaining love and losing it.
Nicole predominantly features songs that tackle the subjects of heartache and saying goodbye to a lover - a theme that Niki excels in most of her popular songs that are not featured in the album. Although the songs execute this theme well, the album lacks diversity in the themes found in each song. It would have been the perfect opportunity for Niki to explore more themes that do not necessarily involve romantic love - or the lack thereof. Once Niki explores her songwriting ability to produce more songs that are not what is expected of her, she will truly shine and be acknowledged as one of the greatest storytellers of the newest generation of musicians in the industry.

I'm not sure how to reply to your writing asks so I'm doing it here to request 19, 12 and 38 please!
From @magog83
19. Tell me a story about your writing journey. When did you start? Why did you start? Were there bumps along the way? Where are you now and where are you going?
Sad childhood story time: when I was at primary school, we had to do a thing on Monday where we'd write down what our family did at the weekend. Only my family never did anything, or not anything I wanted to think about or share, so I used to make stuff up. I even invented a dog who was always getting into mischief. I got busted on Parents Evening when my teacher was saying how much everyone enjoyed hearing about the dog's antics and my dad was like.... what dog? we don't have a dog. Far from this putting me off, it precipitated a childhood living mostly in my own head, and frankly, lying my ass off. I was very fortunate to have teachers who saw potential and encouraged me to channel my passion for storytelling into writing. One set up a school magazine just so I could edit it and another got me a job writing for the local newspaper. So by the time I left home, I already had years of experience writing, which meant while I was studying at uni, I made a reasonable living writing jokes, poetry, reviews, PR pieces and press releases, and non-fiction.
I didn't write fiction until I discovered fanfic, and in a lot of ways, it felt like starting again but it's been a really valuable learning experience.
I have no idea where I'm going. I've written at least an original novel a year for the last decade and they're all languishing in various states of edited and finished on my hard drive. I would like to try and get some of it published, but the idea of going through the publishing process is terrifying to me. I go back and forth on how I should approach it, what I should write, what my genre is, what my market it, if I'm good enough, how I might do it with no contacts, how I will handle the inevitable rejection and scrutiny when I am a giant ball of anxiety at the best of times, and deep down I know it's all just a way of avoiding it.
12. If a genie offered you three writing wishes, what would they be? Btw if you wish for more wishes the genie turns all your current WIPs into Lorem Ipsum, I don’t make the rules
Confidence would be nice.
Also the ability to spell 'calendar' correctly on the first try.
I can't think of a third so I'll save that for later.
38. What is something about your writing process YOU think is Really Weird? If you are comfortable, please share. If you’re not comfortable, what do you think cats say about us?
I very rarely know what I'm doing but I usually manage to pull sense out of nonsense? I spend a lot of time writing random details or descriptions or dialogue snippets because I think they're interesting or funny, and then at some point during the process, I realise they weren't random, in fact they were germane to what I was trying to say all along. I find that quite weird, that on some level, my brain has a plan but if you asked me to explain what I was doing or why, I wouldn't be able to. It's like I have scraps of ideas and it's only by exploring them I come to see the whole--I'm never really setting out to make a whole thing, it just manifests.
Sometimes people ask 'how did you do that?' or 'how did you come up with that?'
And the honest answer is usually: I have no fucking idea.
Thank you for playing!

I will try to write at least once a week how I am doing in my fight against the disease, now I would like to write about obsessive thinking about food. Here's my story related to this topic, until I was 11 years old I didn't think obsessively about food, the problem started when I started compulsively overeating at the age of 11, then I gained weight and thought a lot about food and wanted to eat my sadness, then I didn't know anything about eating disorders, I didn't even know that such a thing even exists, then after a few months it turned into restrictive anorexia, then I literally only thought about the next meal, I watched a lot of videos presenting sweets and fast food, after less than half a year, extreme hunger came, then all I could think about was how terrible I was. I'm hungry and I want to eat and that no matter how much I eat, I'm still hungry and of course I'm talking about food. After about 2 months, the weight returned to the weight from the time of BED, even though the weight returned, my mental state was as bad as in the worst moment of the disease, and maybe even in the worse moment, one time I overeat so much that I vomited and that's how my bulimia started until now, so as not to to think about hunger, I had to do something and then the hunger disappeared, the same thoughts, if I did nothing, all I could think about was hunger and food, then after about 2 years I went to a center and there I didn't think about food the same for the next 4.5 months then I started having a relapse which is still happening with longer and sometimes shorter breaks. Now I don't think so much about eating, only when it's time for meals and I'm hungry, sometimes I'm so hungry that I can't cope and I eat them earlier than I should, I watch them. sometimes on YT there are recipes that I want to cook and some product reviews, possibly some challenges and channels of dietitians, especially those who work with people with eating disorders because they have a lot of knowledge on this subject. I don't look at people's mouths while they're eating, I don't need to, when I had an anorexic episode I did that, it's weird.

Blue Sky Podcast: When Optimism Leads To Inspiration
At the beginning of every Blue Sky podcast, host Bill Burke reminds listeners, "There is always a blue sky above. Sometimes, you just have to get your head above the clouds to see it."
Despite the opening bouncy, happy music and the buoyancy of that quote, this podcast does not pretend to offer listeners a rose-colored, overly optimistic, and utopian view of our world. It is certainly not an exercise in toxic positivity, which is a dysfunctional way of managing emotions that involves denying or invalidating negative emotions, especially anger and sadness.
Instead, Blue Sky uncovers and underscores inspirational stories in the midst of political division and global uncertainty.
I reviewed this podcast in March and found that it offered many energizing episodes where host Bill Burke talks with people who have a "get-it-done" mentality instead of a "what's the use" mindset.
I am reviewing it again because Blue Sky has released a special three-episode miniseries, in which Burke highlights how optimism isn’t just a feel-good attitude—it’s a powerful tool for tackling today’s most pressing issues, from race and identity to national unity. And as the country approaches one of the most heated presidential elections in its history, Blue Sky offers a much-needed dose of hope and solutions for the future.
“Optimism is more than just a state of mind, it’s a creative force that leads to action and positive outcomes, even in the most challenging of times,” Bill Burke says. “On Blue Sky, we feature guests who embody this spirit and inspire these same qualities in our listeners.”
In this miniseries, Blue Sky features guests whose stories aren’t just inspiring, but also incredibly timely. I listened to the three episodes and found that my ears were captivated, and my brain fully engaged.
The miniseries includes: ● Lee Woodruff: Shares her journey with husband Bob Woodruff, the ABC journalist who survived a near-fatal injury in Iraq, and how they turned personal hardship into advocacy for injured veterans. Listen to the part where Lee Woodruff finds out that her husband has been injured in Iraq and has suffered a traumatic brain injury. ● Theodore Johnson: Washington Post opinion columnist and former Obama administration speechwriter discusses his book If We Are Brave, which explores the intersection of race and democracy in America and how we can move forward, even in challenging times.
In this episode, I marveled at how Johnson lived two lives as a child. At school, enrolled in an all-white school, but also attending an all-Black church several times a week. That unique experience provides Johnson with the intellectual and emotional altitude to discuss racism in the U.S.
● Lee Ellis: Vietnam War veteran and former POW reflects on his five years of captivity with John McCain, explaining how optimism became his anchor during the darkest moments.
Blue Sky is hosted by former media exec (President of TBS, CEO of Weather Channels) and founder of The Optimism Institute, Bill Burke. The show is all about showing how optimism isn’t just about feeling good—it’s a real, practical tool for facing today's issues, from issues of race and identity to national unity, with hope and kindness for the future.
Not only has Burke served as president of TBS and CEO of the Weather Channel Companies, but he also co-authored media mogul Ted Turner’s autobiography Call Me Ted.
Burke is an eloquent podcast host and an acutely effective interviewer.
I liked the use of segments in these interviews, where Burke summarizes the previous section of the interview before proceeding to the next section. The use of segments is underused by podcasters. Joe Casabona of Podcast Overflows has been an advocate of such a narrative device, and I agree.
Through Blue Sky, Burke brings his mission to life, inspiring meaningful conversations and encouraging listeners to adopt a hopeful, proactive outlook—even when the world feels heavy.
An American study of 2,564 men and women who were 65 and older also found that optimism is good for blood pressure. Researchers used a four-item positive-emotion summary scale to evaluate each participant during a home visit. They also measured blood pressure, height, and weight and collected information about age, marital status, alcohol use, diabetes, and medication. Even after taking these other factors into account, people with positive emotions had lower blood pressure than those with a negative outlook. On average, the people with the most positive emotions had the lowest blood pressure.
The results of this research show that compared to optimists, pessimists nurtured little hope for the future and were more at risk for depressive and anxiety disorders, with subsequent impairment of social functioning and quality of life.
One of my favorite episodes is with Kathryn Goetzke in August 2023. Following a challenging childhood and the tragic death of her father, Goetzke decided that the best way to tackle depression and despair is to create reasons for hope. After studying the issue deeply with experts in psychology, she determined that hope was both teachable and measurable, and has made it her life’s work to spread this message.
In 2022, she published The Biggest Little Book About Hope and continues to be a global mental health ambassador. She was appointed to represent the World Federation for Mental Health at the United Nations, and in that Blue Sky episode, she described how she became so passionate about this work and why she remains so committed to spreading the good news about the powerful effects of maintaining a hopeful attitude.
Check out this recent three-part miniseries on Blue Sky.
I will remind people of what the Dalai Lama once said: “Optimism doesn’t mean that you are blind to the reality of the situation. It means you remain motivated to seek a solution to whatever problems arise.”

For anyone voting today for Greene county, MO:
I’ve done research into the issues on the ballot April 2, 2024. Here is a guide with personal insight for Tumblr lgbtq+ individuals.
1) the question of if a mayor should be allowed to hold office for 4 years instead of 2, total 8 years with re-election.
No. Never let an official be safe from being evaluated for longer than necessary. Term limits keep officials accountable.
2) should the code of ethics for state employees be revised?
No. They try to get you with the word ethics. Currently a state employee is termed if monetary gain happens outside the channels of there job. Getting $ benefits from other enterprises, like real estate sells they had a .gov hand in, accepting bribes, etc. they want to change the law so that the mayor gets to review and decide if they’re in trouble or not, with the attorney’s input saying it’s not illegal before the action happened. They also get to rewrite the rules once a year. Not all bad, except who will benefit, and why change the language every year?
The example they cite is a teenager being hired to mow lawns who is a state employee’s child. Stop right there and ask yourself why a child is being hired to do adult work on government property.
This is a clear “more harm than good” policy if you have anyone not purely uninterested in personal gain in office. Corruption red flag.
Candidates for the school board:
3 positions open.
Best candidates: not great, it’s the best we have right now. These have been endorsed by the PAC, as non partisan candidates. i.e. not 100% Republican / Democrat.
Sherman-Wilkins supports nonpartisan schools and stopping religious influence controlling how public schools are run.
Kincaid: committed to making decisions instead of as she says, just punting (not voting to avoid dislike). Admits she has no kids and is a lawyer.
Crise: He is a business guy, and will rely on stakeholders for some decisions. Boo. He also stressed wanting to ask students what they need though.
Worst:
Mohammadkhani supports Moms for Liberty, the book banning group. Sad about this since she also states she wants to help lower income families.
McCarter quoted as saying he is endorsed by “groups that you may consider have a sort of a conservative leaning.” He means MAGA.
Rollins: opposes critical race theory and plans to seek Republican Mary Byrnes advice.
Provance: a girls athletic coach. She is endorsed by PAC, but is endorsed by Republican Mary Byrnes who is very anti lgbt, so likely against trans inclusion.
Do your own research if you can!

"San Andres Mega Quake" Review by Nimsi
Hi everyone! My name is Nimsi (Nim). I'm here to review a movie I saw on Tubi yesterday. The movie is called "San Andres Mega Quake." It was a sad movie, but interesting at the same time. The movie is about a group of scientists trying to save the state of California from a mega quake. I really enjoyed the action scenes in the movie. My favorite part was when the daughter of two of the scientists picks them up in a helicopter. If I had to rate the movie out of five stars, I'd rate it a five out of five stars. I'll be reviewing it on our YouTube channel too sometime. Stay tuned for that. If you haven't seen it yet, definitely hop on Tubi to check it out.

my enthusiasm has gradually petered out over the past few days bc i had been so busy + havent been getting enough sleep, but aa2 was a truly amazing experience for me ESPECIALLY the last case, so i still want to dissect my thoughts on it although im not as hyped up as i was right after i finished playing it (i was jumping around and grinning and pacing around my room for hours and shit 😁) i have so many thoughts so im gonna split my review rambling whatever this is into different parts, this one is my thoughts on the first three cases :D
1st case was nothing spectacular.. pretty long for a tutorial level but i guess it was acting as padding for the more dramatic 2nd case.. i guessss. at least it was very funny and not too hard to solve. and it was also trying to be more thorough in teaching the gameplay mechanics during court sessions and making sure players have an idea of what to expect in later cases.. probably... its whatever whatever. at least an amnesic concussion is still the funniest way to reteach a tutorial so im so happy they went with that.
i liked the second case!! i wasnt able to figure out how the clothing box fit into everything until the very end, so i could rly understand wright's panic, bc for a good chunk of the case it really did seem like maya had killed someone. i think this case felt the most 'turnabout' of them all, bc in other cases there were other plausibilities and culprits right from the get-go, but w the way this murder happened in a locked room with (seemingly) only 2 individuals inside, it actually did feel impossible to save maya at first. so it was very satisfying to pick apart the lies and inconsistencies and be able to arrive to the truth. and it was nice to see kurain village, and learn more about the feys in general. and it was nice to see mia again!!! i wasnt sure if she would be coming back or not. mia and maya's reunion at the end of the case was super touching, bc one of the saddest moments in aa1 to me was during the 4th case when maya couldnt channel mia, and was wondering if she would ever be able to see her again.. so it was nice that she was really able to see her again :')
speaking of mia, i dont know if this series will explore this further, but just thinking abt her state of existence is lowkey kinda scary.. like, whats it like being dead? whats the difference between being alive and dead, considering mia is still somewhat mentoring and advising us despite being dead? could a fey, who can just possess another fey like that, be able to steal the body of another fey if they were killed? (this sounds like a possible case in the future, i wonder if this will happen..) will mia be like that forever? will future generations be able to speak to this mia, can she like.... rest? disappear? does she want to? can she? and its also pretty sad too, with how in aa1 when maya wondered if she could see her again; i feel like its less sad to have someone you love die and have that be that, than it is for them to die and you can maybe or maybe not see them again.. like i dunno. i hope this gets explored more, im curious abt it!!
also, mia being in this state of 'is but isnt here' really makes phoenix's character more enriching to me, bc in the first game he lost someone very dear and important to him... except not really. and we never really see him properly grieve mia in any extent if my memory is correct. like he didnt really dwell on it, he had to push thru it in order to defend maya. but then now in the second game, when we compare wright's almost... flippancy towards mia's death to his refusal to even acknowledge edgeworth's 'death'.... its a super interesting difference. this isnt to say that phoenix necessarily values one character over the other, but bc mia isnt necessarily 'gone'... there technically isnt much to mourn? kinda?? so the way we see phoenix behave in this game irt edgeworth, we get to properly see how phoenix behaves in the face of actual loss.. and his answer to loss is to completely reject it. and it works amazingly with gameplay too, bc he's really just compartmentalizing tf out of his issues and being like Nope. Let's Examine This Room Instead :) while maya or pearl just stares at him like 😐 it adds an extremely compelling layer of depth to wright's character!! and these moments of wright's rejection of his loss are done just the perfect amount of times, very seldomly and very restrainfully, that it creates this perfect air of tension throughout the entire game before it finally blows over in the last case. I LOVE IT RRARRGHHHH
pearl's and franziska's introduction to the story were amazing as well! i had no idea what pearl's character would be like... definitely was not expecting her to be mia's vessel #2 😭 but no yes pearl was an infinitely adorable and entertaining character, it is just so so so so awesome to have a tiny child who speaks so elegantly and have such mature tastes, but still be a cute tiny child. i love you pearl. if shes not in the next game im going to be REALLY REALLY SAD....... and franziska came in with just a massive dominating personality like Yes!!! she livened up so much of the game with her presence. im going to give franziska her own post bc she deserves it so ill talk abt her more in depth later.
and of course the ini miney twist... i already said this but the reasoning for the reveal (you cant drive without a license) is fucking IJBOL but ignoring the absurdity of that, it was a really good twist that i didnt see coming but could still be satisfied with. it was also really sad that morgan had to be convicted too, for pearl's sake i had really hoped that tht wouldnt be the case :( all in all the second case was very suspenseful, emotional, and very very good. i really liked it!
and the third case............................................................................
i wanted to put a reaction image here. but i could not find anything that could express the magnitude of my immense disgust. disappointment. resentment. and unhappiness................
i already posted a lot of my main grievances with it in my lb tag, and thinking abt this case again is just self-inflicting psychic damage so ill keep it short. but man did it suck. cuz currently in life i can only play aa like 2/3 days a week and then its back to 4/5 days of work. i did the first two cases in 3 days, worked for the rest of the week, and came back in anticipation bc the second case left off on such a good note. and then to use my 2 free days on a case this shitty... BROOOOOO FUCK THIS SHIT MAN!!! i spent the following days of work just being PISSED AS HELLLL cuz like i wanted to play a better case but now i could seeth as i worked bc of this SHITTY CASE like not only did it suck but it had to be LONG too. not like final case long but normal case long but ugh it sucked sucked sucked. ive said this before but i get they were trying to make the murder seem like a magic trick that we had to figure out the inner workings of, but like.... it just fucking sucked and wasnt well-executed at all. it didnt help that nearly every character in this case was incredibly grating and annoying and the one bearable character, acro, had to be the killer.. also that fucking ventriloquist like why was he standing around in the second day when there was literally nothing to talk to him about? also why did the ringmaster wear max's fucking clothes like wha..... i dont even care anymoreeeee 😭 ok bye bye im gonna gush about the 4th case in a seperate post now cuz that was the best fucking thing ever!!!!!!

CZ pleads guilty, Binance pleads guilty, what does the crypto leader’s sky-high $4.3 billion settlement mean?
The encryption world known for its “freedom” is finally moving towards compliance.
On Tuesday, Eastern Time, in the early morning of November 22nd, Beijing time, the U.S. Department of Justice held a press conference to announce that it had reached a historic settlement with Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, in an investigation and litigation case that lasted for several months. Binance agreed. After pleading guilty to relevant criminal charges and paying a total of over $4.3 billion in sky-high fines, Binance founder and CEO Changpeng Zhao resigned…
— — At this point, this unsolved mystery case in the global encryption industry for more than half a year, the annual “Black Swan” reserve incident has finally reached its final chapter. Just like boots landing, in the face of the “iron fist” struck by the US judicial department, Binance passed After defending and cooperating with negotiations, they finally chose to settle. The US$4.3 billion fine paid in the agreement was one of the largest fines ever obtained by the US government from a corporate defendant. Despite such a defeat, CZ Zhao Changpeng said that this was the “best choice.” It’s sad.
However, looking back at the development of the incident, there are traces of Binance’s acceptance of the punishment and its move toward compliance.
In the first half of this year, the U.S. government launched a series of reviews of Binance, including criminal and civil charges filed by the Department of Justice and the SEC respectively.
Among other things, the U.S. Department of Justice has been investigating whether Binance helped evade U.S. sanctions on Iran and Russia (Binance has also come under scrutiny for whether it allowed transactions to fund Hamas). It is one of the largest investigations into a cryptocurrency company by the U.S. Department of Justice and follows the collapse of cryptocurrency exchange FTX and the conviction of its founder SBF earlier this month on fraud and conspiracy charges. sexual solution.
In June this year, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filed 13 charges against Binance entities and founder Changpeng Zhao, including operating an illegal trading platform in the United States; operating unregistered exchanges, broker-dealers, and clearing agencies; and abusing customer funds. ; Unregistered issuance and sale of securities, etc.
While Binance is under the cloud of investigation and wrestling with U.S. regulators, in July this year, in order to prevent money laundering and stop cryptocurrencies from facilitating crime and violating sanctions, a group of U.S. senators are introducing new bipartisan legislation requiring de Centralized finance (DeFi) services meet the same anti-money laundering (AML) and economic sanctions compliance obligations as other financial companies, including centralized crypto exchanges, casinos and even pawn shops.
The legislation also updates the Ministry of Finance’s anti-money laundering authority and establishes new requirements to ensure that “cryptocurrency ATMs” do not become a channel for illegal money laundering activities. The proposal indicates a clearer regulatory attitude from relevant parties — DeFi and crypto ATMs are also required AML and KYC.
This means that cryptocurrencies and cryptocurrency exchanges, whether centralized or decentralized, are being pushed into a new development model. It is not difficult to evaluate the industry from regulatory related terms such as compliance, anti-money laundering, and KYC. The market is bound to move towards standardization in the traditional sense — rational practitioners will not arbitrarily attribute supervision to shackles or shackles, but it is undeniable that the future development of cryptocurrency is destined to give up some “freedom” and need to meet more and more requirements. The more detailed and specific and higher-level regulatory requirements are.
The thunderous sound of FTX is still in my ears. The successive collapses of leading players have created trust risks, market crackdowns have caused bearish trading, and there are rumors of tighter supervision… This is the common situation that cryptocurrencies and cryptocurrency exchanges have faced in the past two years.
Until now, Binance has admitted its guilt and accepted punishment. It is almost a foregone conclusion that the cryptocurrency market or the entire crypto world will gradually move towards compliance.
It should be said that the fragility of cryptocurrency itself, as well as the previously unclear regulatory framework or regulatory crackdowns in various regional markets, have also increased the uncertainty faced by cryptocurrency exchanges. Poor internal management has also brought hidden dangers to the stable development of exchanges. The bank run risks that need to be borne under the fractional reserve system are among the many difficulties currently faced by cryptocurrency exchanges.
Facing risks and clarifying pain points is the first step for the industry to get out of trouble. 3W.com Group and its various business sectors, especially the hybrid trading platform 3W Exchange, have been paying close attention to the development of the cryptocurrency market and using leading financial From the perspective of technology service providers, we hope to provide assistance to cryptocurrency exchanges and the overall market at all levels, from technical support to service empowerment, to break through the difficulties.

It is post WWII and the United States is dePRESSED. A 1946 match-up of just pure struggle and sadness.
The Best Years of Our Lives was the top grossing film of 1946, and was considered by Variety to be one of the best pictures of our lives. I could name better films made in the last 80 years, but I would consider this one of the best war films. It was able to cover a wide range of themes without it feeling clunky or cliché. It's a satisfying representation of the post-war US, with all of the real feelings that go along with that.
It's a Wonderful Life was lacking in press. It was originally a box office loss, and only became a Christmas classic after the film entered the public domain in the 1970s. The Film Daily gave strong praises to Frank Capra and James Stewart. I have definitely seen this one before but watched it again today just to make sure. It's a cute, family-oriented Christmas classic with an incredible performance from James Stewart. It's not perfect, but it is heartwarming.
At the Academy Awards, Harold Russell not only won an Oscar for Supporting Actor, but also an Honorary Award for "bringing hope and courage to his fellow veterans through his appearance" (as they were convinced he would not win his Oscar). To date, he remains the only actor with two Oscars for the same performance. He also took home a Special Achievement award at the Golden Globes.
Both films maintain high reception from both critics and the general audience, and received all of the major accolades we've been following for the 1940s!
The Best Years of Our Lives is free on Pluto, and It's a Wonderful Life is free on the Roku Channel.
Unofficial Review: It's probably a timing issue. The Best Years of Our Lives was relevant to the post-war US, and It's A Wonderful Life didn't succeed at the box office. Could have been an upset, but watch both!
