Seventeen years is a long life for a cat, but no span of years is ever long enough for a friend. I know the hearts of everybody in the fandom is with Scar and his family today, and we will remember her in every Minecraft world where she lives on.

Queen Aanya and King Ezran being the child rulers of their respective kingdoms who before have probably only interacted in their courts and on a very formal level

So when they meet again but this time at a wedding and there’s no really big political thing to talk about they both struggle with the “oh shit I forgot how to talk to people my age” for a second before being kids and laughing together

It was so cute I wish we got to see more of them hanging out casually

“What are these?”

You stared curiously at the paper bag that had been dropped onto the table. It wasn’t uncommon for Levi to bring you small gifts and treats and dump them unceremoniously in front of you like this. It was just the way things were between you.

He sat himself into the seat opposite you and gestured towards the bag. Not sure what to expect, you unrolled the paper and peered inside. You gasped, quickly tipping the bag to empty out some of the contents into your hand. You’d never quite seen anything like them.

“What are these?” you repeated, eyes wide in excitement.

Colourful little drops lay on your palm, sugar coating both them and the table now from tipping the bag. Levi tutted, leaning forward to gather the sugar in a neat pile, using the opportunity to lower his head a little to hide the way his eyes lit up at your excitement. You’d caught it though, your grin widening even further at how he still thought he could hide these things from you.

“They’re sweets,” he explained, reaching to grab one gently from you. “They called them fruit jellies.”

You leaned forward to look even closer at these colourful little jellies, trying to decide which one to try first, what colour could be what fruit. But Levi’s hand was reaching out towards you.

“Open your mouth,” he told you.

He placed the sweet on your tongue, the sugar instantly assaulting your senses, but before he could fully pull back you grabbed his wrist, giving him a soft, sugary kiss on his fingertips. The sweetness engulfed your mouth as he slowly pulled back, hand lingering in yours for just long enough to squeeze it gently.

He made a mental note to get more of these in future.

i initially didn't want to talk about this scene bc personally i think it's been blown out of proportion but if you want to get real and talk about symbolism, I'll come to play.

For Belly's entire life, Conrad has been "the sun". She idealized him so much that all she could see was him and no one else could compare, leaving Jere in the shadows despite always being there for her (and literally being nicknamed "the sunshine boy")

So many people have tied this shot to that quote "For Belly, Conrad was the sun" and have understood the light here to be the sunlight radiating on Belly and Conrad. But the thing is—despite so many people's misinterpretations of the shot—it (he) is not the sun.

It's artificial lighting. It's not real.

He isn't the person she built him up to be no matter how many times she had convinced herself he was. She just didn't realize it immediately.

When Belly wakes up (that in itself could also be a metaphor), and she is able to think clearly and decide for herself what she wants and what she needs, she chooses Jeremiah. And what exactly happens when she does?

The sun shines on both of them. There is real sunlight bathing the shot because she doesn't idealize him and he doesn't idealize her, they see each other for who they really are and love each other anyway and that's what's real.

it's so important to me that it comes across that the sun shines on both of them. she didn't find a new sun, she didn't choose a different person to revolve her whole life around—she wanted the sun to shine down on her as much as it did her partner bc ultimately, she is now also choosing herself and what makes her truly happy.

Sorry for not paying attention I was thinking of a hypothetical scenario where after realising that Jeremiah is going to die, Bubba leans down and kisses him one last time, but blood starts dripping from the corner of Jeremiah's lips and the taste of iron fills Bubba's mouth as he sees his husband lose the light in his eyes.
