my newest and cool lore tidbit that i was meditating on was how the m-34th makes their weapons and tools magic-resistant ... as an aside, its been in my mind for a while that magic has something to do with bones, like bones being the "pathways" of magic, and thus one of the hardest materials to work with as a witch if its possible to work with them at all.
im still fleshing out this idea and deciding if its something i want to work with but in practice how it manifests in the story is that magic cant/has a hard time healing broken bones, and a broken bone disrupts the flow of magic in a witch or mage (this was originally murdas weakness equivalent to mochis thing with water-- as the crow witch shes good at flying but only because her bones are easily broken). the reason im hesitating to use it is that it seems like a HUGE weakness for any witch but supposedly they have magic that can at least reinforce bones OR madam springs has methods for relatively quick organic healing
anyway back to the m-34th point, i think it would be fucking baller if they managed to create magic resistant shields and weapons by infusing the bones of past black canvases into a super hard metal material as to be able to cut down anything material and also anything magic

well, i found something good about the slip arc. it’s the idea that homesickness in the future will be a physical illness that manifests in those especially who will never have the chance to return to earth. cause im gonna be real i wasnt paying attn because i didnt want to but the way i understand it people on new kinshasa weren’t affected by this, people in the upper echelons of sarasvahti (ie people who had money to spend and lives to lead by doing so) weren’t affected by it: only Brahma pests and those too poor for earth to ever be a dream in their hearts were ailing with a homesickness so potent and concrete that it led to physical symptoms.
and i fucking love that. i love that so much, i think theres this divide btwn ppl who would love to go to space and who love the idea of aliens and whatever and then you have those who get sick thinking about the idea that for years the planet has existed with a certain number of souls less than it’s supposed to have because theres always been people on the space station and i FIRMLY belong to that second category so like... this is SO good to me, it’s so fucking real
#penumb#again .... im gonna mention the sacred text this is getting embarrassing but idc its why i love that jet & rita are from earth in ambrosia#and i love the inclusion of second cit in there just on the basis of the fact that it melds so well and i love it#but also because i love how earth has grown and evolved and done so in a pretty insular way all things considered??#because its now considered backwards and old school and wht have you and obviously this isnt canon bc it wouldnt mesh with the homesickness#and also its not canon bc it just isnt but in ambrosia earth has sort of evolved beyond capitalism because theyve had to#bc they are living with the direct results of what human technologies have done in those ghost dinosaurs#and because at least how it comes across with the jet storyline it seems that earth has become a glorified parking lot#an in betweeny for dark matters to park their spaceship when looking for the unnatural disaster#i dont actually know if its canon that jet is from earth i feel like we've not heard jack about earth ever except for that illness#but like to me jet will always be from earth because it explains ... so much to me#this idea of natural disasters which im sure exist on other planets (i mean hello venus global warming) but they still all come back to#us and the way he's so self contained and self controlled seems to have something that for me resonates with earth too#idk. anyway idk if that author even knows what theyve done to my worldview with that fic its unreal

So many breakthroughs are now all but just parts of our daily lives, we know nothing on the components of our phone and if broken either get a new one or go to a specialist and even with so much info online on that, nobody bothers to search it up.
The different aspects of our life that is now rules and taken care of by machines and automation, algorithms and robotics.
Our whims and desires met with every possible variation. Barely any effort in finding what we do desperately want. Connection on a level only limited by the way sites work. Chores no longer requiring human presence. Activities being solely performed through and on a thin device. Wires buzzing through every city in every country.. Can you even comprehend to what extent humanity has brought technology, and yet many are stuck with the belief it’s but a mere TOOL?! It is SO much more..

Literally shocked to learn this week that I was actually granted a patent for PRECISE TEMPERAMENT TUNING by the US Patent and Trademark Office...
(The patent was actually issued on 12.12.23...)
I have about 80 total (US and International) patents across several fields of use including laser and scanners, sound based /electromagnetic healing, ocular technologies treating blindness, AR and VR, DNA combinatorial analysis, cryptography, blockchain, mathematics and number theory, geometrical compression, Clean/free energy, transmutation of elements, and music (like the above patent newly issued).
I have never asserted a legal position in order to protect intellectual property. The patent process is very costly. It can cost several tens of thousands of dollars to gain a patent issuance (mainly on legal and administrative fees). Additionally the upkeep of a large patent portfolio is very costly also with annual fees and continuation filings required. There must be an intention to commercialize the embodiment of any patents are to be asserted legally (again, which I have never done).
A question I often receive: Why do I file patents for my inventions?
Here is the three part answer:
1. The patent process requires a lot of thoughtfulness to complete a filing application. It forces a high level of rigor to prove that the invention is novel AND to embody the concept into detailed diagrams of explanation of the inventions reduction to practice and embodiment in an apparatus (as the case may be). Most patent filings don't make it through this process simply because they are not in fact novel ideas.
2. To ensure that the invention is not 'lost' to history. The patent process requires a record detailed enough so that future generations could ostensibly read the patent be recreate the technology. Most inventions are simply lost in someone's basement.
3. So that neither I nor others can be "blocked" from pursuing the invention. This actually happens all the time.
4. I feel a great responsibility to protect what the Universe delivers through me. Thoughts are non local and cannot be owned.

A Blessing for your Technology
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I was just fortunate enough to have my husbear build me a new computer. My laptop wasn't doing what I needed it to do for work (I had 12GB RAM and was trying to run a LOT of browser tabs). Fortunately, I had some extra money and was able to afford a new machine. Isn't there something so inspiring and exciting about getting a new device? Whether it's a new computer, phone, or tablet, a new bit of technology feels like it's just full of possibilities. Here I am, writing this post on my new computer. I'm doing my best to create magick with every keystroke. I also like to give my computers witch names so I can tell them apart on the network. This new computer is Griselda, and the laptop is Endora. My old laptop was Akasha. What can I say? It makes me giggle. So why not show our technology a little love with a blessing? Timing: Do this on a Wednesday, which is sacred to Mercury, the Greek god of communication. Deities: Mercury (communication), Iris (communication), Odin (wisdom/knowledge), Thoth (wisdom/knowledge) Colors (for candles/altar cloths/etc.): Yellow for communication. Blue for knowledge, study, and wisdom. White for general blessings. Herbs: General blessing herbs and resins- rosemary, sage, frankincense, myrrh. Stones: Quartz crystals (used in computers and most electronics and can easily attune with them) To prepare: Think of a name for your device. - Create a small altar to focus your energies. Arrange your stones, candles, and crystals there. If you're blessing something small like a phone or a small tablet, leave room on the altar to place the item. If you're blessing something big like a tower computer, create the altar on the desk where your monitors reside. - Light your candle and incense (if using), and ground and center yourself. Draw your energy to you and begin moving towards a state of relaxation and focus. You may want to focus on your breathing, you may want to hum lightly. Whatever gets you there! - Think about traits you want your devices to have. Traits like quickness, durability, dependability, flexibility, etc. all work. Think about the things that you use your devices for, and imagine using them in the best way possible to achieve your aims. Imagine using the device in a mutually beneficial relationship to bring positivity into your world. - When you're ready, either hold your device or devices in your hands, or hover your hands over them and say "By the power of (Mercury/Iris/Odin/Thoth), I hereby bless you with the powers of ______________, ______________, and ______________. (Whatever traits you've chosen.) Pass the electronics through the candle or incense smoke, or fan the smoke over them, and imagine them charging with your intentions as you say "Technology mine, I bid you be true. If you take care of me, I will take care of you. Your name is ____________, I do decree. We will work together and productive be. As I will it, so mote it be." - As you repeat the rhyme, imagine filling your device with your energy so that it knows you and becomes attuned to your needs and wishes. Feel it become a part of your tool kit for working your will in the world, and thank it for its contribution. Be sure to treat your devices as if they're sacred. Keep them clean and happy, take care of them and they will take care of you! (And be sure to add some fun, special wallpapers for good measure!) Let me know how you use your technological devices in a sacred way. Do you use them primarily for web-weaving and creating connections in the world? Do you use them to do good work in the world? How do you treat your devices like they're sacred? Blessed be! Read the full article
