Acharya Pramod Krishnam says ‘chamchagiri’ is a must to survive in the Congress

Acharya Pramod Krishnam opened up about his stance on leaders in Congress Party and said that Sachin Pilot and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra are being disrespected in the party because Congress demands ‘chamchagiri’ to survive.

Krishnam, who was expelled from the party on Saturday, stated that he will stand by Prime Minister Narendra Modi throughout his life to support him in his endeavors to make a strong nation. Krishnam was expelled for ‘indiscipline’ and giving statements against the party.

In the latest statement, Krishnam praised PM Modi for the consecration ceremony in Ayodhya. He also talked about Congress missing the event and quoted it as a bad gesture.

In response to a reporter’s question, Krishnam said, "Today, if one wants to remain in the Congress, it requires manipulation, chamchagiri (sycophancy) and lying." He further said, "Sachin Pilot is being insulted in Congress... he is swallowing poison like Lord Shiva. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is also being insulted."

"(Bharat Jodo Nyay) Yatra of Rahul Gandhi is going on for several days... why is Priyanka Gandhi not joining it, ask her," he said.

Krishnam was speaking at Kalki Dham where he also attacked Rahul Gandhi saying, "If a person cannot respect his mother and sister, how will he respect the country? One who could not handle his legacy, how will he handle the country?"

In a statement released by Congress general secretary (organization) KC Venugopal, Krishnam's expulsion from the party was announced. "Keeping in mind the complaint of indiscipline and repeated statements against the party, the Congress president has decided to expel Pramod Krishnam from the party for six years," Venugopal said.

Happy Ending: Gehlot meets Pilot with handshake and smile

The much-awaited meeting between Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and former Deputy CM Sachin Pilot was held here on Thursday two days after Pilot returned from Delhi, marking a happy ending to the over a month-long political uncertainty in the state.

The two leaders met before the Congress legislative party meeting at Gehlot’s house.

At the meeting, Gehlot gave a call to forget the past, saying, “‘Apne To Apne Hote Hain’. We could have proved majority on the floor of the House even without these 19 MLAs, but then there would have been no happiness around.”

Gehlot further said, “We will move the confidence motion ourselves. We shall also resolve the grievances of our MLAs who are annoyed with us.”

It needs to be mentioned here that the BJP on Thursday announced that it will move a no-confidence motion against the Gehlot government when the special Assembly session commences on Friday.

New Delhi : इन दिनों कांग्रेस की कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी पार्टी को पुनर्जीवित करने के लिए एड़ी-चोटी का जोर लगा है। प्रशांत कुमार से लम्बी मुलाकात के अलावा वे उन राज्यों में भी मतभेद ख़त्म करना चाहती हैं, जहाँ कांग्रेस की सरकार है। इसी क्रम में आज उन्होंने राजस्थान कांग्रेस के नेता सचिन पायलट से मुलाकात की। यह मुलाकात ऐसे समय हुई, जब सचिन पायलट को अशोक गहलोत की जगह मुख्यमंत्री बनाए जाने की चर्चा है।

सोनिया और सचिन के बीच हुई बैठक का मुद्दा राजस्थान और पार्टी में सचिन पायलट की भूमिका को लेकर थी। जब कांग्रेस अगले साल राज्य में चुनाव की तैयारी कर रही है। सचिन पायलट पहले राजस्थान कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष और प्रदेश के उप-मुख्यमंत्री थे। लेकिन, 2020 में जब उन्होंने पार्टी से बगावत की तो, उन्हें दोनों पदों से हाथ धोना पड़ा। अब उन्हें नई भूमिका और जिम्मेदारी देने का निर्णय सोनिया गांधी करेंगी।

Pilot and his MLAs move Rajasthan HC, hearing at 3 pm

Rebel Congress leader Sachin Pilot and his 18 loyalist MLAs on Thursday moved Rajasthan High Court against Speaker C.P. Joshi’s disqualification notice. The case is set for hearing at 3 p.m. on Thursday.

Judge Satish Chandra Sharma will appear in court for a single bench hearing via video conference.

On Wednesday, Joshi issued notices after the party came in seeking their disqualification from the state assembly.

The former deputy chief minister Sachin Pilot and the other MLAs who were sacked recently were asked to respond to the notices by Friday.
