Sky Graf | Identity: non-binary | Media: The High Republic Quest for Planet X

Sky Graf was a young member of the wealthy Graf family. A year before the Night of Sorrow, their father went missing looking for Planet X. To prove themselves to their family and possibly find their father, they stole their older brother’s ship the Brightbird and deemed up with Dass Leffbruk (who had previously made it to Planet X) and the Jedi padawan Rooper Nitani to use a Force artifact to try to find Planet X during the great hyperspace race. The Force artifact brought them backwards through the planets Dass had recently visited, where they face challenges while also trying to outrun Sky’s brother. During their journey, they also had to take the Path of the Open Hand member Fel Ix as a hostage. Fel Ix began to break through his cult programming, and when the news of a possible battle between the Path and the Republic reached the crew of the Brightbird, he convinced Sky to give up the search for Planet X to travel to Dalna. Fel Ix succeeded by appealing to Sky’s connection with their father by pointing out how he was a father himself. Working with Fel Ix, Sky helped defeat the Graf code that was corrupting the communication buoys in the Dalna sector, preventing more violence during the Night of Sorrow. Their brother, Helis, eventually caught up with them. But the siblings were able to talk about their feelings and reconcile. The two of them would fly the Brightbird together and continue to prospect. But Sky would no longer chase their father’s ghost.

Sky’s lifestyle was a combination of the hard and technical life of a pilot and hyperspace prospector combined with the luxury of their family’s level of wealth. They are very intelligent when it comes to science. They are confident, with a prickly exterior. They didn’t connect with Fel Ix the way Dass or Rooper did until the end, not wanting to try to understand the perspective of someone who tried to kill them. When things got serious, they showed a surprising capacity of violence and a willingness to do anything to achieve their goals. They only felt like they had unconditional love from their father, his disappearance driving them even further in conflict with their family. At the end of the book, they are more at peace, but still eager to make their own name separate from the Graf dynasty. Unusually for transgender characters in Star Wars, there is explicit discussion in their internal monolog about how they felt gender dysphoria when they started to go through puberty and how their father got them a binder.

Sabé, born Tsabin, was a member of a family of musicians who set their daughter on the same path. However, she was only skilled enough to ever have a supporting role and instead volunteered to be one of Queen Amidala’s handmaidens. She became Padmé’s most trusted operative, pretending to be the Queen during the Invasion of Naboo. After Padmé’s term as queen ended, she remained her operative and worked with Tonra, a member of Naboo’s security force, to attempt to free slaves on Tatooine. They eventually made contact with the White Suns, a Tatioone slave liberation movement. When the Clone Wars began, Sabé once again acted as Padmé’s decoy when Padmé was away from Coruscant conducting an investigation. There she learned Anakin and Padmé were married. However, to make sure Padmé didn’t have her closest confidant, Palpatine blasted Sabé’s brain with the Dark Side until she didn’t want to work closely with Padmé anymore. Sabé spent the rest of the war helping the White Suns.

After Padmé died, Sabé founded an organization known as the Amidalans- a rebel cell consisting of Naboo (including some of the other handmaidens), who sought to avenge Padmé. They attempted to assassinate Vader (who they deemed responsible) on multiple occasions. Sabé focused on deception, preventing to work with Vader to find Padmé’s killer and infiltrating Crimson Dawn.  until she figured out that Vader was Anakin. Remembering how Padmé’s last words (which had been recorded) was “There’s still good in [Anakin]”, she decided to actually become Vader’s operative. Her given reason was that the Empire and Vader did bring order to the galaxy, but it is just as likely she is following her queen’s last order to attempt to bring the man she loved back to the light. She remained by Vader’s side even when her fellow handmaidens came to “rescue” her. Her last appearance in the comics was Vader abandoning her on a beach until she could decide to fully commit to the Dark Side (emotionally speaking).

Sabé had crushes on a handful of people and even a romantic relationship with Tonra, but her most important was her romantic love for Padmé. These feelings were requited, with Queen’s Hope creating a love triangle where Sabé represented ideology and duty and Anakin was selfish love. As we know, Padmé chose Anakin, but a deciding factor was Sabé’s self esteem being temporarily shattered by Palpatine. Her wider moral view seems to have degraded after spending over two decades focusing on avenging Padmé instead of joining the wider Rebellion. However, even working for the Empire, she hasn’t gone completely evil yet- doing things like pretending to kill a bunch of refugees to gain their loyalty instead of actually killing them.

I'm +21 and prefer to write with people +18, whether there's NSFW themes involved or not.

Depends on the muse. But some of the ships I have no interest in are: anything incest (I include Bossk x Boba in this because in my portrayal Bossk was a father figure to Boba), Goran x Women, Medrit x Women, Anyone x Palpatine, Galen x Vader, Maulkie x Vader, Merrin x Fret, Voe x Luke, Tahiri x Luke.

Not many of my muses have popular fandom ships. But here's the ones I know do:

S4bedala: sometimes used for people to self insert on a ship with Padme because they have Sabé sticking around after shit she wouldn't have stuck around for, the fans tend to have a disproportionate hatred for Anakin for no real reason other than that he is the one that ended up with Padme in the end. I had to block two blogs centered around this ship because they popped up with the shinigami eyes tool (TERF detector). Very nice ship when done right (almost never done right).

T4hiri x Anakin Solo: sweet childhood romance that ended in tragedy and fucked her up for life. Beautiful. Would have been even more beautiful if the writers hadn't centered Tahiri's entire arc and personality from that point on around feeling guilty because she refused to give Anakin a kiss before the mission and he ended up blowing himself up with the force.

D1nluke: A crack ship in the sense that it's clearly never going to be canon, the shippers are either the chillest or the most annoying people you'll ever meet, it's a Russian roulette. You have high chances of running into a fic where Din is written like a rough and tough Latino man stereotype, but that's also true for a lot of content involving him romantically/sexually.

Hanl3ia: same issue with D1nluke but this time the ship is canon, the shippers are either super chill or annoying as fuck. Leia is seen as the perfect most special girl who can do no wrong, meanwhile Han is the guy that's lucky to have gotten her to even look at him. Go into a blog centered around this ship and you have a high chance of reading the blandest, most surface level takes on Darth Vader you've ever seen.

Qu1nobi/Ob1quin: Childhood friends to enemies to friends again to star crossed lovers ftw! They complement each other nicely because Obi-Wan is much calmer than Quinlan and Quinlan reminds Obi-Wan to not be so structured all the time. With this ship you're one typo away from ending up in the other ship tag that involves Qui-Gon, so thread carefully.

G4len x Jun0: I like them but sometimes Juno makes me mad. I know she's trying to help Galen most of the time, but her "you're still just Vader's slave" line always pisses me off, that's not how you help an abuse survivor fresh out of the abusive situation, Juno.

G0ran x M3drit: I love them. They're just perfect and complement each other so nicely. They're too kind for the galaxy and situations they live in and I respect that. The only thing that would have made their relationship better would have been adding Boba and making it a polycule.

"He's... harmless." SABÉ's words falter as her eyes lay on him. Standing at nearly seven feet tall, DARTH VADER towers over everyone in her company. Her watchful eyes catch how he flinches away from Gregar, who merely stepped too close in order to get a better look at his damaged control panel.

"You know that's not true. I'm not saying this just because he's coarse and uncooperative, the man has betrayed us in the past." Saché keeps her voice level and hushed for privacy. It wouldn’t be the first time their guest has eavesdropped on conversations he has no business in.

Sabé, surprisingly quick to jump to his defense, shocks herself when she rounds on her partner. "Betrayed is a strong word, Saché, he saved my life."

"By being dishonest! I can still feel—!" Saché's objection trails off as she cups the air around her neck, signalling the Force touch that violated her a couple hours ago. "I can still feel his hand around my throat, sister. It's not worth it."

At the grim reminder of Darth Vader's famous temper, Sabé's gaze returns to him to see he's sat down, cautiously fiddling with his sparking indicators. She swallows, and feels her heart unclench at the sight. "Fuck." she mutters, kicking the dirt of the ground. "Isn't she worth it, Saché?"

Her companion quiets in remembrance of their fallen Queen. Lord Vader, as crass and oppositional as he's been, has been a fair aid in avenging the former Senator Padmé Amidala's wrongful death.

Sabé excuses herself with a reassuring squeeze to Saché's bicep, and saunters to Vader's location. A current of electricity pricks at his finger, and he waves it from its reach, forming a defiant fist at his own suit. Sache's arguments echo within her mind, at war with herself over Vader's insistence to join her brigade and her cause. He's dangerously unpredictable, which makes for disastrous consequences if she allows him sanctuary within the Amidalans or turns him away. The Enforcer of the Empire is hardly negotiable, and saying no to him may not be possible. For now.

As she passes a toolbox, she snatches it by its handle to bring to him, setting it down on the bench aside him with a clatter. He's unresponsive as she sifts through it for the necessary materials, retrieving a hand-held welder. "Let me." she tells him as she approaches him. Unlike Gregar, she's not shooed away, nor flinched from. When she takes a knee, his expressionless durasteel eyes follow her movement.

"What do you think you're doing?" Deep, rich bravado fills her ears with a tone of unnerve.

"It's the duty of a leader. You were injured honorably, the least I can do is fix the mistake I caused." With every word, Sabé realizes how she unconsciously caters to him. Shifts her syntax around in order to satiate his pride and his fragile obedience. When did she become so adept at talking to him?

She reaches her hands to the panel, two of his indicators blinking in a fritz. Without thinking, he seizes her appendages, arresting them in suspension. To question him, she lifts her chin to meet his gaze, so to speak.

"Don't."

There's that fear again, an inkling of it. It slithers from an instinctive place in her brain, the kind from the dark ages, the fear of predators. The grip on her hands is uncharacteristically tender, and it snaps her out of her trance. She steels herself. He is just a man, even if his limbs are of metal. "You're making it worse. I'll be done quickly." Swiftly, she jerks her hands from his, and curls her fingers around the covering of the panel, sliding the pads along it until she finds the give. She presses, and the covering splits from the box with a hiss. If she's not mistaken, she'd swear she heard a sharp inhale from his mouthpiece. The rhythm of it increases, and she worries his breathing apparatus has been affected by battle. When in reality it's her position knelt on the ground in front of him that resurfaces fond memories of a girl in his past that shares her face.

Nimble, beautiful, perfect hands slide up his thighs, hook into the waistband of his pants, adjusting them down as cold knuckles brush and juxtapose the wretched heat of his skin. He can't sit still, writhing under her experienced touch as she fondles his half-flaccid length, hardening it with all she knows he loves. "I love you, my Ani, you know that. Right?"

Breathless and desperate, he grits his teeth as he nods, "Yes— of course, my love. I can feel it. I feel it in how you touch me. So sweet," his ramblings stretch her existing smile, it dazzles him enough to make his cock twitch as she pumps it. "This is how you love me."

"I intend to love you with my mouth, too. If that's what you'd like," She's playing coy, dipping closer and closer to his erection in her manicured hand. Involuntarily, his body rises to meet her, and she accepts him with a startled noise, followed shortly by the wet squelch of spit and pre-cum hitting the back of her throat. A hum of approval reverberates through his sensitive velvety skin and he cries out, a large hand palming the back of her head as he pursues his high. Her little hands brace on his clothed thighs, and squeeze. Unable to tear his eyes away from such a captivating sight, he watches the delicate countenance of his wife twist in arousal as he rocks into her. Beautiful as ever, gorgeous and supple, he could never get tired of looking at her. Everything he could ever want, everything he needs. How could he look at anyone else when she exists? When she is his? He whimpers a string of disconnected words as he rides her faithful mouth, "Fuck- fuck, Mé. I love you, I love you so dearly. Oh, my sweet. My sweet Mé."

Vader clenches his jaw so hard his teeth ache, no matter how hard he tries he cannot stop reliving that moment. Cannot stop visualizing what it would be like to relive it right now. Sabé's brows are knitted in concentration as she repairs him. A selfless act that's admirable in and of itself, and like a fool he lets his guard down. Where is his tenacity? His aversion to trust someone to tend to him? His paranoia that in this vulnerable state he'll be taken advantage of? What's stopping this stranger from worsening his weakened state to finish him off when he's unable to defend himself?

But when he gazes down at her, all he sees is his wife. His wife who was the last person to sit between his legs, lovingly caressing him to attention, enveloping him in her forgiving nature, and sunning him with her warm affections. This is the first time he's missed sex. Impassioned, torrid, impetuous love-making. Guilt comes just as fast. Lusting after the woman who resembles his late wife is the sin of sins, one that imbues him with anger so potent he commands distance.

"Stop."

Sabé is taken aback at the timing, but it's not altogether unexpected he'd finally process his surroundings and refuse her. "I'm almost done—"

"Enough." Tired of her questioning, he clamps around her wrist to shove it away from him, hastily replacing the panel himself to stand. As he does, he lifts Sabe with him.

"What the hell—?" She winces from his viced grip, bracing a hand on his wrist as if to relieve some of the pressure.

That face. Her skew in pain. She doesn't get the chance to order him to release her when blasters are drawn, trained on him for his transgression, but they're not the reason he drops her.

"No..." Teary. Anguished. Heartbroken. "Anakin..." she'd said.

The last words he ever heard her speak, and it was with his Force touch bound around her throat. Sabé lands on her feet, and attempts damage control, commanding her company to stand down. An intelligent advisement he would've commended if he'd heard it. Instead, he flees.
