ive never listened to any of her other music but brooke fraser’s “shadowfeet” is a Throwback CCM Classic, they used to play it all the time before christian music channels got hecka lame and it’s beautiful. also on the list of Songs From When Christian Radio Was Cool, “my home” by thousand foot krutch, various older songs from bebo norman (he did a song addressed to britney spears. can we get any more mid 2000s. good song tho, v self-aware), “brand new day” by fireflight, “all that matters” and while it’s not strictly christian but do friendship songs get any better than “sticking with you” by addison road, you know what?? all of francesca battistelli’s paper heart album, and don’t forget classic newsboys a la “something beautiful” and “million pieces”

and you know what? skillet. im that person. im that friggin person. im still in love with skillet’s comatose album. good friggin songs. it’s 2017 and i still listen to skillet’s comatose album because “the older i get”? “those nights”?? “whispers in the dark”??? “the last night”?????? emo!!!! emo as heck!!!!!! good songs tho!!!!!!! audrey assad. just listen to all of audrey assad and also her side project LEVV. audrey assad is the unproblematic fav of christian music. start with “the house you’re building” or “new song” or “restless” her voice is so beautiful (OR go for LEVV’s “dream” bc.....its honestly out of this world transcendent)
