The Trap is literally an amazing destiel episode. It's so "me and my husband are in a fight". Like how else does it read!?!?

Dean's "confession" after Cas disappears again mirroring what happened the first time they were in purgaytory.

In Sam's flashforwad, Dean literally losing it because Cas died. Mirroring his widow arc when Cas died in Season 13.

Also Deans confession in this episode, he knows that he has 30 minutes left and he may never see Cas again, so unprompted, bares his soul. But, when Cas is literally dying in front of him after he bared his soul Dean says NOTHING!?!? Bullshit.

I also firmly believe in the theory that if Cas allowed Dean to talk about his prayer Dean would have said I love you and Cas would have been sucked to Super Mega Hell(tm).

I'm finally in season 15 of my Supernatural rewatch. I kind of can't believe the emotional depth they gave Cas and Dean's relationship.

I've watched the final episode so I'm aware of what they're building to, but I did not expect the writers to have Cas and Dean so explicitly communicate their feelings throughout the season.

Right at the beginning of the season Cas fully says: "Dean. You asked, 'What about all of this is real?' We are." (S15E2). The 'we' can be taken a number of ways, but Cas also says this after Dean says "everything that we are is because of Chuck", so Cas' response is very much meant to be taken as: the relationship we have built to one another and the actions we taken are the only things that matter to me. The 'we' can be inclusive of Sam, or other hunters, but it feels so different to the previous "we matter because we're a family" comments. This is Cas directly saying, "we matter because we're what I care about".

Then by the middle of the season, Dean not only cries over Cas, to Cas (through prayer), but takes the time to self reflect and admit things he needs to work on in order to be a better person to Cas: "You're my best friend, but I just let you go. 'Cause it was easier than admitting I was wrong. I—Ohh. I don't know why I get so angry. I just know—I know that it's—I-it's just always been there. And when things go bad, it just—it comes out. And I can't—I can't stop it. No matter how—how bad I want to, I just can't stop it. And—and I-I forgive you. Of course I forgive you. I'm sorry it took me so long" (S15E9). I tried to think back to times Dean has been emotionally vulnerable, but honestly, most of what comes to mind are moments that revolve around Dean's past and future desires. Moments like this feel more like Dean's genuine, present emotions. I'm sure there are exceptions, but again, like the previous example with Cas, this is the most direct I've seen Dean say, "you matter to me and I was shit to you. I'm scared I don't know how to do better, even if I want to. Please know that I see you and I'm trying".

Emotional depth? In my Supernatural?

They're going to devastate me, aren't they.

The funniest thing about Destiel is that it's Castiel who came out to Dean and confessed his love BUT all the thirsty looks, the lips licking, the boner, the grieving, the sobbing, the falling to his knees... all that came from Dean. So what does it make Dean?????

You see Liane's progression as a parent in this one, but there will be much clearer arcs for her in later episodes that will leave this one unneeded. S15E2 Funnybot is FILLER

Our annual Jimmy episode got the short end of the stick again, this is the one gear that you can leave and the machine will still be working. S15E3 Royal Pudding is CANON

You need the context of Canadians having royalty to understand later reappearances of the Prince of Canada. Otherwise Mr. Mackey's father is deceased now. S15E4 T.M.I. is FILLER

Unless knowing which male characters have small dicks, that is. S15E5 Crack Baby Athletic Association is FILLER

It's a character study on how likely Kyle is to be involved with Eric's schemes. S15E6 City Sushi is CANON

This one is pretty big. You finally learn about Dr. Janus and his disorder that recontextualises the character you thought you knew until now. S15E7 You're Getting Old is CANON

Perhaps the most continuity based episode of the season, or at least the only one that leaves us in a cliffhanger. S15E8 Ass Burgers is CANON

Yes, in the end neither the previous episode or this one changed that much, but they are very important episodes. Stan's alcoholism will be a major part of Post-Covid, and Randy and Sharon having separated once explains a lot in later seasons why they are still together. The janitor and the farmer are a great duo who will return later. And this duo of episodes show where Trey and Matt's head is at going forward. S15E9 The Last of the Meheecans is FILLER

The boys play border patrol on a large scale. Did you notice they reused the same fake-out twist as in Funnybot? S15E10 Bass to Mouth is FILLER

A sequel to Death Camp of Tolerance, but neither Lemmiwinks' return adds anything to the overarching themes of the show, nor does Eric's pact with the school teachers. S15E11 Broadway Bro Down is FILLER

I love this and I wish it mattered more, but ultimately it doesn't. S15E12 1% is CANON

Eric has a war with his stuffed animals after the boys tell him to grow up. S15E13 A History Channel Thanksgiving is FILLER

It's the classic four boys go on an adventure formula. S15E14 The Poor Kid is CANON

Mysterion and Karen story. If you care about canon, you care about this one, easy as that.

Autistic Spencer Reid

Happy Autism Acceptance Month, everyone! By request, my wonderful friends and I have taken on the daunting task of documenting the reasons why Spencer Reid is considered Autistic. Big thank you to you @spencer-reids-adventures and @foxy-eva specifically for their help. We hope everyone enjoys! This is not an exhaustive list.

Stimming/Self-Stimulatory behavior, including rocking/spinning in his chair, twiddling with his fingers, gripping sheets, bouncing his legs, biting his lip/tongue, rubbing his eyes, spinning pens, pacing (e.g., S6E12 "Corazon")

Averse to touch, dislikes hugs (S7E13 "Snake Eyes" & S11E11 "Entropy")

Explains multiple attempts at masking, including "being more conversational," (S2E19 "Ashes and Dust"), scripting conversation (S15E4 "Saturdays"), saying what people want to hear (S6E20 "Hanley Waters")

Verbosity - Difficulty recognizing when he's talking too much/speaking at inappropriate times (e.g., S1E16 "The Tribe" & S10E16 "Lockdown")

His mother is schizophrenic, which has a strong genetic link to Autism

Matthew Gray Gubler has also explained that, regardless of the canonical confirmation, he views and portrayed Spencer Reid as Autistic. Specifically, he stated:

"He's an eccentric genius, with hints of schizophrenia and minor autism, Asperger's syndrome. Reid is 24, 25 years old with three Ph.D.'s and one can't usually achieve that without some form of autism." (Note: Asperger's is an outdated term with Nazi origins, which is now referred to as a part of "Autism Spectrum Disorder" by most countries)
