Ok. Huh. Watching 'The art of fuckery' with captions. Did anybody else know that there was actual dialogue at the start when Stede and Ed are sitting at the railing talking and laughing?

It's mostly covered by Izzy's v.o. and in past watchings I heard that Stede was saying something but couldn't make it out. I know the contents of the dialogue very likely doesn't mean anything and is just a weird little Easter egg (?) type thingy..but there you go.

Truth be told, when I realized Ambessa was for some reason super duper invested in Vi and wanted to kill her personally with no one around because she made Caitlyn "weak", and that THAT was somehow the big distraction that would save everyone. I had to pause the episode for a moment and stare at the wall asking myself who tf kidnapped the writing team and replaced them with aliens who have only the barest idea of what the show is about

where I believe Vaggie’s hatred/distrust of men came from

So Vaggie is not only a fallen angel, but a fallen exterminator. She has shown to be very militaristic and harsh, because that’s how she was brought up. But the question is, brought up by who?

Well, i think it’s pretty clear that she and all the other exterminators (who i believe are all women? i can’t remember) were trained/raised by Adam. A misogynistic, arrogant, and frankly downright stupid freak of an angel. And if they’re all women, that means that before hell, Adam was literally the only man she’d ever known.

He’s the only one who recognized Vaggie under the mask. He’s the only one besides Sera that knows about the exterminations. He always has an exterminator by his side. It just makes sense.

He says that Vaggie was one of his best, meaning that he probably gave her special attention that she didn’t want. He also literally named her after the word vagina. Lastly, he was there when her wings and eye were ripped out and, despite her probably being one of his favorites, did nothing to help her.

So yeah, if Adam was the only man I knew and he treated me the way he’s been shown to treat people in this show so far, id have a strong distrust of men, too.

i would really like to have a teacher like gojo because of how skilled he is in his field. BUT, i will always be in fear whenever im near him because that guy... he's crazy. literally. on crack cocaine level crazy or something. crazy. mental. idk. so insane that it seems sane. (maybe it's me who's nuts with everything goin' on)

but it was really fun to see him teach yuji tho (if you can call that teaching) with yuji whining about not having cursed techniques like those from video games while gojo being all, it's fine from outside and worrying about sukuna's technique engraving on yuji from inside.

and obviously, can tell he cares about his students and jujutsu world a lot really.

now, scenes worth mentioning: starting strong with sukuna and yuji's fight/conversation, especially the punch yuji landed on sukuna's face lmao. the deeper pov of gojo from gojo and ichiji's conversation and then, yuji waking up behind shoko ieiri and their gasps haha. (wait, how did gojo see yuji waking up tho? with his blindfold and all (which im still very curious about btw)) the restaurant scene of geto and jogo. and oh, the falling practice with panda, not training but falling practice instead. (although... what was that about megumi's hand going through the stairs?) and last, the principal's dolls still creep me out but nonetheless.

It’s pretty good, I’ve been keeping notes of every person’s descriptions.. i kinda feel asleep at the garbage case with the teeth..

But i’ve been enjoying the fact that the cases slowly get creepier and creepier and more gorey…

But i’m also wondering where jonathan gets some sort of description or design bc i’ve seen a lot of art with basically the same design but idk where it’s from.

onk s2 is actually so good wtf

like. ok i just really like melt's kinda character arc, like tka an wenyi. but that last minute had my jaw dropped they did SUCH a good job with this adaptation, top tier animation and direction.

i love this so much because in universe it's like "ok dude you suck so just let everyone underestimate you and then spend all your time perfecting this one minute of performance to blow them all away" and then on a meta level that's exactly what the anime itself does - introduce this random guy back in s1, build this subplot in the bg of all of s2 so far, and then BAM one minute of the most top tier animation in existence. promises and payoffs!

i feel like if in universe you say "this guy did an amazing performance", now the stakes are high to actually depict their amazing performance. it's like if in a book you're like "this guy is the best poet ever" and you actually write down one of their poems, it better actually be a good poem. but onk does a really good job with this issue and their depiction of acting and amazing performances
