I really hope that s6 reveals a side of Emilie that Nathalie knew before she become this loving and nurturing mother (that I have no doubt about).

I want to get to know the insane, irrational side of her who would have gone through lengths to have a child of her own. The selfish Emilie who ignored Nathalie’s warning and ignored Gabriel’s pleading.

Ok but can you imagine Emilie stealing the peacock miraculous in the dead of night from Nathalie after she informed her about the consequences of using an unsafe miraculous, after Gabriel begged her to seek a different solution if it meant the cost of her life.

Imagine Gabriel waking up to an empty bed and searching the halls, only to find Emilie. Blue. Dressed in a long gown that oddly resembles that of a peacock tail. In the basement of their home cradling her belly.

‘Emilie. What. Did. You. Do?’

She turns to him and exhales breathlessly

By implying that children are too stupid and rude to learn about the world and learn how the world works and how to interact with others, you are casting responsibility away from the people who are responsible for that child's upbringing and placing the blame on the children (who don't have the autonomy given to them to be allowed to decide what they want) who can't help what they do and do not learn, often.

If the children aren't okay, then investigate why before turning to thought-terminating clichés of, "Well, the kids are just stupid and dumb and aren't even worth the effort because they're lazy!"

I never forgive ea removing the neighborhood free building from sims 2. Legit one of my fave aspects of sims 2 is that you can freely create an entire town, not preset slots for buildings

Today marks 10 years since I first really stepped into the Eddsworld fandom and went through an event with it.

But it also happened to be first anniversary of its creator's passing. This year marks the 10th.

I figured 13 year old me wouldn't want to feel alone in that moment, so I made this to join her and go through the flow together.

Without Edd and Eddsworld, I don't think I would've had that accessible foundation, can-do mindset and enthusiastic influence, admiration and desire to animate and make stories of my own. I was a year too late when I first entered into the fandom and heard about it, but these past 10 years taught me it's never too late to make an impact and tell your tales - no matter how long they'll take.

Thank you Edd Gould. For everything.

ok so im never gonna be able to put my thoughts on naruto + classpects down in a way that makes even a little sence so a short post with minimal explanation is probably my best shot at expressing this.

Sasuke: Knight of blood, his dancestor, Itachi: Prince of Blood

in a very literal sence, sasuke fights of the retribution of his bonds (his clan), which you can easily argue is a type of protection or servitude in the way knights function in hs. And itachi is a destroyer of bonds, this is self explanitory.

Naruto himself is probably a Hope player, though i have no idea what class.

I do think a hope/rage dichotomy between him and sasuke could be very interesting though, if done through the lence of hope = optimism/rage = skeptisism (atleast how the function in hs). instead of simply joy/hopefullness vs anger/agression (which is a gross oversimplification of both aspects but specifically demonizes rage for some reason)

Sakura is a Heart player, but more akin to the destructve manner dirk is a heart player, or nepeta is a yearning one

#psii.txt #i also find it interesting how blood players are more the 'heart' of their groups as their aspect is to do with bonds. compared to heart #players that are more focused on the soul/the self #which is very much true for team/7's dynamic #i also picked heart for sakura because i think there can be a comparison made between the existance of 'inner sakura' and dirks splinters #considering the nature of hals creation id say theyre not dissimilar #anyway goodnight everyone ^-^#hope this dosnt actually show up anywhere lol im mainly just rambling to myself here

The main feature apps like this offer are QOL improvements like different layouts, fonts, reading statistics and timers, and the aforementioned download features that are already a part of Ao3.

And if you want to use an app for those features -- honestly, I don't see why not? But be aware that Ao3 supports user-created skins that can look like literally anything you want (and although you do have to know enough CSS to make a theme yourself, lots of fans out there make AO3 skins just for fun -- you just gotta talk to one of them to ask how to make the changes you'd prefer and most likely they're happy to help out) and there are userscripts that act as site extensions that provide all those features and more (with, again, people actively developing them that you can ask help from to write your own if you don't like any of the ones available)

If you don't want the hassle of finding this stuff out or talking to people to ask for these features, you do you I guess. But don't ever pay money for one of these apps, no matter what it does. If it's showing you adds, if it's asking you to buy it, DO NOT, they're asking you to pay for features other fans have already provided for free through other methods.

#Like tbh I don't hate the idea of user-made Ao3 apps #But I also think it's not possible to do that on monetised platforms without going against the spirit of Ao3's rules #they don't let you directly link Kofi or Patreon #so an app having a tip button/ads/premium purchase version would also be out of the question for me #But that's me speaking from a place of someone who likes doing dev shit as a hobby #I honestly think that if I went on FD right now I could find a decent Ao3 reader app that *is* operating within the spirit of the rules #I assume there's more than one of us out there but you wouldn't find any of these apps on the damn App Store/ITunes #which have the sole purpose of making money #and making money off of fandom is against the principles of OTW as far as I've understood them #And I do think Ao3 could use some QOL features there in the main interface! I do!#And not all of them are stuff like a dark mode you can do with scrub code!#some of the features I mentioned above *are* pretty complicated to implement #So I see the appeal of apps like these especially for people who don't have a broad community of other fans #who don't maybe even know anyone who does themes or userscripts on the side #Who may not even know all the features of their *browsers* because they've grown up in an app-first ecosystem #(or have shit browsers like Chrome that try to be as app-like as possible)#And the people writing these apps see a niche.
