⚰️Imagen the uppermoons guys with a female undertaker s/o.
⚰️Imagen them meeting them because they
where near their store and smelled human blood and flesh only to see her working on her new dolls (that's what the undertaker calls his customers if I recall )
⚰️She meets them after they enter the store and she comes creepyl out of on of the coufins asking if they need one as a joke only for her to say ooo I forgot demons don't need one while giggling .
⚰️Imagen muzan finding out about their knowledge and him asking her questions only for her to tell she doesn't give information for free and when he asks how much money she just tells him the payment is laughter because she finds money useless (muzan probably thinks of her as a female douma 💀)
⚰️How would they react when their "human" s/o turns out to be a shinigami /God of death and they learn how she became a shinigami (because all humans become shinigami if they kill them selfs )
⚰️and learning that she was originally from Victorian Britain until the book of Atlantic plot you known her turning a crewship in to her "dollhouse" all because she was bored and wanted to see what will happen if you mess with people's Cinematic Record to to try to find away to immortality.
⚰️And how would they react when her death scythe could take away their lives. (if she can do it with Sebastian the uppermoons are going to be easy )
⚰️And normally they can see people's there Cinematic Records because only humans can't see it how would they react to seeing it for the first time.
Since all of the uppermoons would be 12 characters, I limited it down to Muzan, Douma, Akaza, Daki, and Gyutaro.
Muzan Kibutsuji
He always thought you were an interesting character. He met you at your funeral parlor when he sensed a human inside. What he saw was rather strange: you were trying to reanimate a corpse, but it seemed as though you couldn’t get a soul to complete that person.
However, he knew that you weren’t human. You didn’t smell like human flesh. He asked about it, and you giggled while stating that you don’t give information out for free. He had a few jokes up his sleeve, but it was more like quick bits of sarcasm. It was enough to get you to laugh, though.
So, you took off your top hat and brushed your bangs out of your face. Muzan got a full view of your phosphorescent eyes, and he was entranced. You explained that you used to be a grim reaper who was still obsessed with death, and you were from the year 1876 in England, which was very intriguing to him.
As much as he wanted to preserve bodies for you to experiment on, it was usually always messy when a demon killed a human. If you wanted, he would give you a messy corpse to try and ‘fix it up’ and make into a doll. There was one time where he watched you do it and he saw the cinematic record of the person. He felt nothing besides when he saw the person’s wedding day…
As for your scythe, he is very intrigued by it. It’s one of the only things in the universe that could possibly kill him, and only you could wield it. However, he wore the pants in the relationship. It was a very weird dynamic between the two of you, but he never felt threatened. In fact, he was kind of glad that you had this power over him because he was secretly afraid his hunger for power would hurt you in some way.
Douma
He kind of burst into the funeral parlor when he smelled flesh, but what he did not expect was for you and one of your dolls to come out of two coffins that you had presumably built. He’s seen people use corpses as sacrifices, but he hasn’t seen people reanimate them into self-reliant (kind of) dolls.
I feel like he would also know that you weren’t human, but he wasn’t able to sense the power you actually held. He always made you laugh, so you told him that you were a grim reaper. You even showed him your eyes, and he thought they were beautiful (but not as beautiful as his).
You told him that you were a foreigner, originally hailing from England. Even though you were retired, you were still very involved in death. You designed coffins to make a profit, but you would experiment on the bodies before they had to be locked in the wooden boxes.
He would use some of his worshipers to give you as cadavers (I like this word for some reason) to experiment on. He once watched you as you made a doll, and he got to see the entirety of the person’s life because of the cinematic records. He was amazed at the things you could do.
When he learned about your scythe, I think he was a bit intimidated because 1) only you could wield it and 2) you were able to kill him in less than a moment’s notice. But maybe that was for the best. He thought it much better to be killed by the person he loved most rather than Muzan, since it would be ironic because you actually made him feel love.
Akaza
Not only did he smell blood, but he also was sent there to gather information. He was told that you were not to be killed because you were a powerful ally, but he had his doubts. However, his thoughts of you changed when he saw a reanimated corpse in the lobby of your funeral parlor and you giggling about how you got closer.
It’s then that he knew you weren’t human, which might be the real reason why you were on the safelist. I feel like he could be pretty goofy when he tries, so he did make you laugh in order to get information out of you (which was a weird and certainly unique experience).
You explained that you were a grim reaper that came here from England. You had retired from your original job and decided that starting up a funeral parlor would be the next course of action because you still wanted to be involved in death. You even removed your top hat to show him your face, and he had to admit that you were beautiful.
Again, when a demon kills a human, it’s totally messy. Unless you wanted a messed up human carcass to fix up and make into a doll, you aren’t getting any more human bodies aside from the ones that died in a more normal way. He wasn’t completely apathetic (as seen when Rengoku got turned into a donut), so when he saw the Cinematic Record he knew that they lived a wonderful life up until the end.
When he learned about your scythe, I feel like he fell for you even more. You were the only one who could correctly wield it and use it, and you were able to kill him if you so desired (not that you did). He always gravitated towards strong people, so you and him were a perfect match.
Daki
She was ordered by Muzan to go ask for information from you, and she thought you were a human so this was going to be easy for her. Unfortunately, what she did not expect was for you to come out of a coffin from the right and one of your ‘dolls’ to come out of a coffin from the left.
That’s also how she knew you weren’t human, as necromancy was looked down upon by all of humankind. Even though she was a bit disturbed by it, she was even more weirded out when you told her your price for information. She got pretty annoyed, but eventually she did it.
You told her that you were a retired grim reaper from England, and that you decided to start a funeral parlor in order to see if you could bring life to the dead. No experiment had been successful since you couldn’t put a soul back into their bodies, but you got closer. Daki became super interested when you said that you were from a different country, so she continued to ask you questions.
I feel like if she is in a good mood then she would bring a dead human body for you to toy around with and fashion into a doll, as long as she got to actually dress the doll up. She’s still a bit childish, after all. I feel like her favorite (but also least favorite) part would be seeing the person’s record because it’s the only way she got to see how a normal human life was supposed to be like.
She was definitely intimidated by your scythe since it could easily kill her with just one swing. However, she figured that you loved her too much to use it out of a random urge. So maybe it was a good thing that you had something that could stop her.
Gyutaro
Daki had told him how weird you were, and he was intrigued. So he decided to pay you an unannounced visit. The moment he opened the door, he was ambushed by a doll that he could sense was (or at least used to be) human. It didn’t take long for him to rip it to shreds, but you were a bit annoyed.
He then asked what exactly you were, to which you responded that you didn’t give information out for free. Gyutaro was completely concerned when you stated your price since almost anyone could get you to laugh for valuable information, but the more he asked questions the more he got to know about you.
You were an ex-grim reaper who dipped your feet into necromancy fairly often, trying to see if it was in fact possible to bring someone back to life. You have had partial success, but the beings didn’t have a soul or that same sparkle in their eyes.
I don’t know if he could actually bring back a well-preserved body back, but if he could then he did and it was like a special treat for you. I would say he would silently watch the cinematic records because they were interesting to him. However, he did get jealous whenever he saw the joyful moments in their life. You reassured him that he would be able to experience those moments with you, and that you would try your hardest to make it a reality. That’s when he fell for you.
Gyutaro was kind of indifferent towards your scythe, but if you were going somewhere without him then he would insist that you take it with you (completely forgetting that you were a reaper and therefore weren’t easily killed. Just listen, otherwise he would follow you in the sun (with proper protection, of course).

Hi, if the asks for AEIWAM are still open, can you share some more regarding the 12th division transitioning to taking over R&D, thanks to Urahara? Did the other divisions take it well, were there fights over boundaries/responsibilities/secrets? Individual divisions holding onto research directly relating to their remits? And how did Mayuri taking over from Urahara impact relations with other divisions?
Urahara proposing a dedicated research and development branch was not a particularly unexpected move, and a wildly applauded one.
His predecessor, now-Royal-Guard Hikifune, had done extensive research and development on her own when she developed both the modern Gikon and the Mod Souls like Kon. The 4th was massively overworked but still doing their own medical research. The Kido corps had been doing their own R&D writ: spells for ages. The 7th division had been tracking death and soul statistics like where souls reincarnated in the Rukongai and who went to hell and why for centuries. "Science" is a very strong word for what the 11th was doing re: destruction, but by golly they were doing a lot of it.
So Urahara's idea to develop a cross-division group dedicated to connecting existing research and developing new lines of inquiry from there was an extremely logical step and one pretty much everyone regarded as a good move.
---
Everyone, except Aizen.
See, Aizen had been doing his own little experiments with creating and perfecting the Hogyoku and those experiments involved a shitload of murder and other crimes, not to mention the whole treason thing, and Aizen was worried that if Kisuke managed to say, actually collate and look over the Rukongai crime stats Aizen had been hiding or read up on the Kido corps work, he might be JUST smart enough to figure out what Aizen was up to.
So Aizen made sure that when they got caught, that the experiments he'd been running would look like Kisuke's work :)
I think Aizen also had a significant hand in making sure it was the literal clown Mayuri who got the job after Urahara fled. There were definitely better candidates to become the Gotei-13's quartermain, but I think Aizen either discouraged them, or figured out how to make Mayuri look way more sane than he actually was to the other captains when the vote came.
Mayuri was a disaster for R&D. Not only were his scientific methods dubious at best, none one the other divisions trusted him with their work, and all of them became a lot more secretive and paranoid.
The 4th resumed it's own medical research, which was slow because of all the other work the 4th needed to do as well. The 7th kept its statistics under lock and key lest Mayuri get funny ideas about killing people to measure things faster. This new cloaked way of doing business allowed Mayuri to engage in horrors that actively got in the way of progress. Like recruiting the top 10% of the academy's graduating class for his division and then using them as guinea pigs and/or explosives.
Aizen: All According to Keikaku :)
---
In AEIWAM, not all hope was lost.
Before he was a shinigami, Kaname Tousen was a Librarian.
It was all he ever really wanted to be- when he came to the seireitei it was entirely to investigate his sister's death. He had no intention of enrolling in the academy, or pursuing rank.
Aizen has a way of derailing people's lives.
By force, when necessary.
By pounding 44 magical nails into Tousen's spine and carving command kanji into his shoulders and inflicting a vile curse on him to force Kaname into being his co-conspirator, his own personal R&D, and his entertaining puppet, if necessary.
Well,
Maybe Aizen is having a little bit more fun than strictly "necessary".
Aizen might have cursed Tousen into silence and obedience, but he can't stop Tousen from keeping his own records. Meticulous notes about every excursion he is made to take, every crime he is forced to commit, every horrific act Tousen does through tears- everything is recorded, documented, and safely stored in triplicate in several locations and formats.
In fact, Aizen comes to rely on those records- Aizen is very good at Lying and Kido and Hubris but that is the extent of his intellectual prowess. He relies on Gin to keep track of what everyone else is doing, and on Tousen to do all the scheduling, lab work, provisions and actually keeping the aarancar in line.
And Kaname takes advantage to press the curse whenever he can- he was close, he was so. Fucking. Close! To getting the whole scheme exposed during Turn Back The Pendulum.
He tried. He tried and tried to say it when Yamamoto interrogated him, to confess his sins and bring Gin and Aizen down with him, to make himself understood.
-Who did this? Who killed captain Hirako?
-I know them! I know, but I can not say!
It's all Kaname can manage before the curse retaliates, and almost strangles him to death to keep his silence, invisible to Yamamoto because of Aizen's illusions.
---
...after the nature of the curse is revealed, Yamamoto listens to the recording of that interrogation and weeps. The captains are the closest thing he has to children. Yamamoto hears this man who is almost his son, screaming, begging him to understand -
Not "I don't know"
Not "I will not say"
"I know, but I can not say."
---
So Kaname bides his time, keeps his records and tries to distract himself form his situation by drawing what conclusions he can.
After the Winter War, there is some debate as to what's going to happen to R&D.
Mayuri is in a jar, battling for control of his body.
Nemu refuses to admit he's out of action. Akon refuses to be promoted.
Kisuke or whoever does run the 12 will be too busy shovelling leftover war crimes out of the basement to actually run R&D.
Yamamoto has a long-standing agreement with Unohana that if he makes her take on One More Thing, he will not get the privilege of dying.
Ukitake is running the Kido corps, but he's also already got a foot in the grave.
Yamanoto isn't sure he can trust anyone else with lab equipment.
" ...Tousen." he says, nonchalant, visiting him in the hospital. "You seem to be rather accomplished at record-keeping and lab work."
"Last time you promoted me while I was in the hospital after a catastrophe, it extended my recovery by a solid five years and lead to an even greater one. No. Tell Kisuke to buck up and run R&D, it was his damn idea in the first place."
"Yes, obviously." Yamanoto says as though he had been planning that at all. "-but the court guard still needs to be supplied, so if Kisuke is running R&D, who is running the 12th?
"Muguruma."
"Pardon?"
"Kensei Muguruma might be the second-worst boss I've ever had but he is rigorously punctual, has an incredible work ethic, and can be trusted to stick to rules and regulations to the letter. He's a rigid, grouchy, hard ass, and a terrible match for the ninth, but he'd make an excellent quartermain." Kaname sighs.
Yamamoto ponders that for a bit.
"Also, he's running the newspaper over my dead body." Kaname elaborates. "He's contracted horoscope brainrot from Mashiro, I'm afraid."
"He may attempt to dispute that he should be running the Ninth as his prior demotion was unlawful, as is his right." Yamamoto nods. "It would be resolved by some kind of combat."
"I've gutted him once, I'll do it again." Kaname grunts and Yamamoto barks a laugh.
"I believe your judgement is sound, and will abide by your recommendation." Yamamoto nods, patting Kaname's hand. "I will inform Urahara and Muguruma of their new responsibilities."
"...Thank you, sir." Kaname mumbles, listening to Yamamoto open his notebook and write something down. "For your trust in me, and not promoting me again."
"Hm." Yamamoto nods.
To-Do: Update last will and testament in regards to successor choice. He writes.

𝑩𝒍𝒖𝒆 𝒍𝒐𝒄𝒌 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒂𝒔 𝑮𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒊 13 𝒎𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓𝒔 (𝑩𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉) 𝒑𝒕 1
Features: The blue lock characters (including the manga characters) in an AU where they are members in the organization called Gotei 13 present in the anime Bleach.
IMPORTANT: I DO NOT OWN THE ART, credits go to the original owner (the original artist: @/fun1_fn on Twitter). This post is inspired by the art work above! I found these and thought it'll be fun to write about a cross over of my two favourite anime!
[ 1st DIVISION ] COMMAND
Role: Dealing with Soul Society law and monitoring the other divisions. Even subordinate members of the First Division are considered model Shinigami.
Characters: Noel Noa, Lavinho, Chris Prince, Marc Snuffy, Julian Loki
Explanation: All members of division 1 have great strength and power. They hold authority over the other divisions. As these characters have enough knowledge and experience to serve as coach/masters and guide the other players, they would definitely be first division members.
[ 2nd DIVISION ] SPECIAL FORCES / ASSASSINATION AND UNDERCOVER OPERATIONS
Role: They handle all undercover operations regarding Seireitei security. Members are tasked with assassination, policing, detention and message couriers.
Characters: Chigiri Hyoma, Asahi Naruhaya, Eita Otoya, Tabito Karasu
Explanation: These characters are known for their skills which will be benefit them to carry out assassinations.
[ 3rd DIVISION ] INTELLIGENCE AND INFORMATION
Role: Responsible of the act of sending out shinigami to gather information. They are also the ones that sort all outgoing and incoming information.
Characters: Meguru Bachira, Jyubei Aryu, Alexis Ness
Explanation: Bachira and Aryu are energetic characters that would love to go out to gather information while Ness seems the type of guy to gather info convertly.
[ 4th DIVISION ] MEDICAL ASSISTANCE AND SUPPLY
Role: They are responsible for both treating the injured and doing most of the manual labor, such as cleaning the Seireitei. The 4th Division administers emergency first aid to injured division members.
Characters: Okuhito Iemon, Nijiro Nanase, Yo Hiori
Explanation: These characters have a gentle nature, which is best suited for the 4th division.
[ 5th DIVISION ] KIDOU CORPS / KIDOU TACTICS AND CONTROL
Role: They are responsible for all sealing and magical workings inside Soul Society, as well as recording and storing any new kidou.
Characters: Reo Mikage, Rin Itoshi
Explanation: Being a member of this squad requires an in depth knowledge of Kido. High level Kido is something not everyone can perform, so these characters are well suited because of their academic level.
[ 6th DIVISION ] INTERNAL AFFAIRS
Role: They handle all of Gotei 13's internal affairs, such as monitoring shinigami activity and handling any disturbances. They are responsible for apprehending shinigami that breaks Soul Society laws and detaining criminal offenders until they are judged.
Characters: Kenyu Yukimiya, Sae Itoshi
Explanation: These characters have a good head on their shoulders, they will do well in this division.
[ 7th DIVISION ] SEIREITEI-RUKONGAI DIPLOMACY
Role: The 7th Division maintains peace between Seireitei and Rukongai. When souls have complaints/suggestions/questions, they sent to the 7th Division where it is read, ignored, taken into consideration and decided upon.
Characters: Zantetsu Tsurugi, Ranze Kurona
Explanation: They are smart enough to handle diplomacy issues.
P.S : Ahhh I so happy I wrote this! This was on my mind for quite a while now and I finally wrote it down! All the above information was taken from the blue lock/ bleach wiki pages as well as some other sources as well. Btw did you guys know that in bleach, only the 6th Division members play actual football? Toshiro did play once but only in the beginning.

oh em gee i got this banger idea like yesterday and i am so surprised that i have never seen any other person contemplate it but like,,, death note au where when ryuk drops the notebook to the human world, mikami picks it up instead of light. i have been thinking about this all day and i am back now with Ideas. everything is under the cut because it's going to be such a long post, i just know it.
imagine now, if you will, teru mikami who is twenty one years old. a law student, in his fourth year of university, on a full scholarship. he is a pretty lonely person, he lives alone in his dorm and is a very bright and talented student. he is on track to be an accomplished lawyer. like canon mikami, he has a very rigid sense of justice, all people are either good or bad, and bad people must be elimanted. he plans to do just that once he becomes a prosecutor.
it's all going fine. but then, of course, ryuk drops the notebook and he ends up finding it. the notebook falls to the courtyard of his university and mikami had been on his daily walks before class when he comes across it and picks it up. he was going to ignore it at first but after he takes a moment to examine it, he is a little apprehensive about it. leaving something like that lying around? bad idea. he doesn't believe in its powers at first and the first week or so, he doesn't even use it. he keeps it in his drawer and decides to just focus on his studies and classes. he dismisses it as some sort of joke item, he means to throw it away soon but he keeps forgetting to.
but after a week or so, ryuk shows up. ryuk would be a lot less keen on mikami than he was with light because like light to him, was interesting. light was raking up like a hundred deaths in the span of five days while mikami has zero. ryuk is kinda disappointed but he dropped the notebook, so there is nothing he can really do about it. ryuk ends up coaxing mikami to try it out, just to see what happens. mikami is a little hesitant, but now that he has seen ryuk and now knows that shinigami exist, the notebook must be real too, as far fetched as it is. he tries a similar approach to light to test it out, he writes the name of a criminal who is being broadcasted on tv. and as expected, the criminal dies and the notebook is real.
mikami does the same thing that light does, that is, target criminals with the most heinous crimes on their records. murderers, rapists, terrorists, anyone he considers to be evil, bad, and the scum of society. how he does it is slightly different though, he is much more methodical about it. he allocates a set amount of hours every single day where he will sit down and write names. he sticks to it, he never writes a name out of his fixed time.
he takes the shinigami eyes deal pretty early on: light's reasoning for why he doesn't take the eyes is because he wants to actually be alive to control the new world that he has made. mikami does not have such motivations. that is the most important thing that sets 1st kira!mikami apart from canon light – mikami has no personal motives to his death note usage like light does. light wants to rid the world of evil, yes, but first and foremost, he wants to be God. mikami only wants the former, all he wants is justice and the world where there's just good people. he is not as 'corrupted' as light is, if that even is the right word???? mikami truly believes that what he is doing is the most morally right thing, he has no other motivation like light does. so, he is not really scared of his lifespan being cut in half. what he wants is to achieve his goals, and he doesn't mind being a martyr about it.
of course, everyone catches on that all the criminal deaths are the doing of one entity, who is called kira by the public. another key different, mikami is 10000x less conspicuous than light. light 's thing is that his dad is the head of the kira case while mikami has no such connections like that. so nobody even thinks to suspect him. L, who takes up the kira case just like in canon, doesn't even think to suspect mikami since he is just a random university student studying law. raye penber and naomi thing never happens because he is never even trailed in the first place, light was trailed because L had made the conclusion that kira has to be connected to the task force in some way. so, since mikami is just Some Guy, that whole thing doesn't happen.
i would argue that the lind l tailor thing doesn't happen either. i don't think L would find substantial evidence that kira is in fact from the kanto region but if by chance, it did happen, mikami wouldn't have killed tailor. light is impulsive, he is hot headed while mikami is cool, not necessarily more calculative than light is but he doesn't rely on his own emotions much. he probably wouldn't have come to the conclusion that televised L was a decoy, he just wouldn't care enough to kill tailor. frustrated, yes, but he wouldn't write his name in a fit of rage. he knows that there would be opposition but he believes that what he is doing is right. his only priority is his goals, he isn't really focused on getting rid of opposition.
so all in all, he makes a great kira since no one suspects him and he manages to do his job just fine. but that is not to say that it's all perfect because i think mikami has one big, giant, colossal problem that light had never really had to face and that is ryuk. because you see, ryuk dropped the notebook in hopes for some fun, something interesting happening. mikami is a poor person for that. sure, mikami does the same thing as light does which is kill criminals but ryuk is more interested in light. light does his thing with a flair, he has that added wish to be god as well. but mikami on the other hand, ryuk finds him boring. extremely predictable, mikami takes 0 risks. all he does is just write some names, there isn't even the L vs kira thing to keep ryuk interested. ryuk is like extremely tempted to just write mikami's name and kill him off.
but that's when light comes in. light has heard of this kira, someone who kills criminals and apparently has the same views of justice that he does. light is desperate to find him and is completely obsessed too, trying to track kira down. he would like to be allies and he thinks he might be of great help to kira, whoever that is. he even succeeds in it in some way, managing to find mikami and conclude that he is the kira that he is looking for (this is where the mikalight comes in).
light approaches mikami one day, knowing without a shadow of a doubt that mikami is kira but doesn't let mikami know that he thinks that. they get to talking, like discussing about their views on justice and good and evil. it just makes light more sure that he has the right person. for mikami, it's refreshing to talk to someone who thinks like him and he cannot help but be so charmed by him. but in the end, light drops the bombshell that he knows that mikami is kira but he is like don't worry i am like a huge fan and mikami is like. nervous but he is like okay. light tells him that he wants to work with him, help him achieve his goal. light is not beneath using his good look and charm to manipulate mikami as well, even though it's just a little different since mikami is a man. by the end of it, mikami is more relaxed and he is just falling for light's charms more and more. a likeminded individual, handsome and charming, someone who wants to help him.
light wants to know how exactly mikami kills. eventually mikami tells him about the notebook, even shows it to him and light is already hatching his plans. he wants to steal the notebook, keep it for himself. light is light in every universe, he wants to take mikami's role as kira and become the god of the new world. he even succeeds in convincing mikami to "lend" it to him and begins to use it for a little bit.
misa still very much exists 10000%. she gets the death note, her parents are dead and mikami had killed her parents' murderer. so now, misa is now grateful to mikami and attaches herself to him, instead of going after light. sure, light is conventionally attractive and they have crossed paths but mikami is now her no1. mikami is more uncomfortable than annoyed, he is a lot more antisocial than light is and all of this attention is just so unfamiliar to him. and since mikami has the eyes for himself, he has no need for her like light did and even so, he would be so unwilling to manipulate her for his own gain.
L comes along as well and i think the way he catches on finally is because of one of light's mistakes when mikami was lending the notebook to him. he clocks light as kira and mikami as the accomplice instead of the other way around. the memory loss thing still happens where mikami and misa lose their memory while light still remembers because he never had a notebook in the first place. confinement arc happens where light, mikami and L are chained together (this is where the mikalawlight happens. mikalawlight is actually my otp, like my most favorite thing)
that is all the ideas i have for now,,, this post better not flop. please please please feel free to add on !!!!

what do you think of the theory that Vincent is a death god now?
Hey Anon! Well, I used to be pretty against it, but nowadays I think it all depends on what we currently know about Shinigamis, which is to say not much.
What I mean is that, in ch105, Yana revealed that Shinigamis are former humans who killed themselves...
...however, we do not know if that's the only way for a human to become a Shinigami.
Remember, Yana could hold onto some additional truth that we have yet to figure out, especially considering that since ch105, Sensei strongly hinted several times that the Shinigamis' higher ups are super sketchy. [x][x][x]
In other words, there is possibly a real gap between what Shinigamis themselves believe to be the truth whereas the actual truth is hidden by the higher-ups.
Additionally, that's just my opinion but, seeing as UT (and the possible other deserters he works with) is very anti higher-ups, I wonder if editing the records (to make dead people into BD) is not an idea he got from finding out some truths about Shinigamis, which led to his desertion. [x]
For example, maybe all Shinigamis had their records altered in order to become Shinigamis ? And if that's the case, then maybe some altered memories (read: lies) were put to their records, making them all believe that they're overworked slaves "because of suicide" when none of it is true? Just like the redemption reward is also probably a lie.
All that to say that I believe UT's BD project is a hint to a big and terrible truth that we have yet to fully grasp (take it as a rebellion towards the Shinigamis' higher-ups, on top of UT missing the dead Phantomhives) so, for now, I think it's important to be very careful about the "truth" we were told about the Shinigami Organization.
Back to Vincent: for now, I believe that he was definitely murdered.
Meaning that if suicide is really the only way for a man to become a Shinigami, then he did not become a Shinigami. However, if becoming a Shinigami is not just about suicide, but about several other factors, then it's not impossible that Vincent became a Shinigami after he died. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
In my opinion, Yana-sensei made sure not to rule out the possibility in canon, as in, she left a few hints that could be red herrings, just like they could be used to interpret that Vincent is not really "dead". Those hints are
1) ch107.5, because, even though he's supposedly dead, he wears gloves and a suit that could resemble that of a Shinigami's.
Additionally, even if the rosette power thing was just for comical effect, it's interesting that he showed up at all even though UT said he cannot be brought back as a bizarre doll.
2) the state of his body, that UT mentions in ch105.
After all, if it's burnt so badly, that means his cinematic record can't be read and thus altered to turn him into a BD, so how certain are we that they buried Vincent's body?
3) the fact that he constantly breaks the 4th wall despite "being dead" (ch107.5, short story "with Father", etc), which so far has no explanation in canon.
All of these could be nothing important, because Yana's simply playing around with us, just like they could be significant on some aspects.
The point is : the more the story goes, the less we have a reason to believe that what Sascha explained in ch105 is entirely true. Not with UT and possibly other deserters actively working against the higher-ups, without a real explanation from their side so far.
TL;DR the possibility of Vincent having become a Shinigami can't be entirely ruled out and won't be, until we have found out the entire truth about the Shinigami Organization.
Is the key to their fate really suicide ? Or are there other actions in life that will turn someone into a Shinigami post mortem? Until a deserter, UT or somebody else, tells their version of the truth, I will not trust the information we've had in canon so far about Shinigamis.
(Personally I'd rather he's truly and definitely dead, but if him becoming a Shinigami furthers the very important plot thread of the Shinigamis' higher ups being absolute assholes who need to be taken down, then I'll be okay with it.)
Sorry if it's a bit confusing, but there's no way to be sure of anything on that topic. Have a good day Anon!
#kuroshitsuji#vincent phantomhive#undertaker#shinigamis#kuro105#kuro107.5#tw: suicide mention#kuroshitsuji theory#anon#answers#my analysis#demons can play make-believe with humans so who's to say that shinigami higher ups don't have an equivalent method that has to do with CR#do you imagine the potential of altered memories in the cinematic records for the plot?#higher ups using this method to control & threaten people or influence world scale events ?#the shinigami organization brainwashes its slaves: you can't change my mind#and even if UT's reasons for starting the BD project are mostly related to the P family#it's likely that it also ties with why he deserted and if not him then other deserters are bound to be actively against the higher ups too#UT is pro freedom so it's possible that he dislikes the watchdog duty so much because it killed Claudia and Vincent#but also because that collar the Phantomhives have on reminds him about his fate as a shinigami#especially if the Watchdog duty was given to the P family because of their lineage#UT needs to mourn better but I don't think that's all there's to him which is why he's so interesting and so relevant to the plot#also why Sensei said “he's not exactly a villain”

@stardstschlar continue from here
Over time, Jotaro had managed to learn that both he and the Shinigami had much in common. There were still some things that they had differences in, like: Tsuzuki had a major sweet tooth, the Joestsr was not very big on sweets. Their age differences; the other man would have been well into old age by this point, and here Jotaro was in his mid-40's. The things they had in common? Really fucked up minds because of trauma. And they simply understood one another. While the brunette was the more talkative of the two, they still hadn't needed to say much to one another for them to get what was happening. The Joestar also happened to notice just how close they were getting, and that scared him more than anything. He was well aware of his track record with people, but the Shinigami had been...different. He was kind, accepting, and willing to give. But he'd also been completely broken by a man that Jotaro still wanted to throat punch and end with his own hands. No one had deserved to go through what either of them had gone through, much less the torment that his companion had been subject to.
Jotaro had one of his own spiraling days. One of those days where everything in his head had become too much to bear, too much to push back. He didn't want the other seeing him in such a state so he did the best thing he could do; pull back and hide. The raven haired stand user was standing outside of a hotel room, the balcony being a safe spot for him to catch a breath and work through his thoughts. The itching need for a cigarette rising, though there wasn't a store close enough and he didn't want to break that streak. Footsteps sounded from behind, a gentle touch placed to his bicep pulled the man from his thoughts. A confused look upon his features as he faced Tsuzuki, teals searching the other man's face. Why was he out here? Had Jotaro done something wrong again? Not seeing any signs that the Shinigami was upset with him, the Joestar hesitantly raised a hand to grasp the one upon his arm. "You shouldn't be out here." He spoke up, giving a gentle squeeze to the hand before pulling his own away. There was a risk in letting the other into his mind, one he wasn't willing to take for fear of losing the other. It was only fair he keep the other man at a distance, wasn't it? Like he had always fonr to everyone else in his life. So then; why was he not pushing more for Tsuzuki to go back inside? "You really...don't want to be near me right now." Jotaro murmured, a tremble running through him.
Hearing that statement; 'I let my actions speak for themselves,' that had certainly made the Joestar look back at the Shinigami in surprise. Tsuzuki had wanted to be near him, to offer a comfort that neither one had been offered much of in the past. Taking a deep breath his hand raised again to grasp the other man's, gently pulling it from his arm only to hold it between two larger hands. "Is...Is this okay?"
Realization over their common point has been a step who mostly generated an deep fondness, each time he was recalling their mutual situation. Something who also created further awareness about how, silently, he came to catch up … feelings. Emotions he wanted to lose himself in, but at the same time, doing what was necessary mentally to not feel like he was entering a forbidden space and crossing a line he shouldn't. Opening Pandora's box, whether abruptly or gently, could reduce the hope inside, and he didn't want to ruin his relationship with him by imposing emotions he probably didn't feel. Nothing would really be the same when everything will be said clearly, huh ? Almost, he could have been ready to bring up his past relationship with Tatsumi-san over that point --- once admitted, these emotions would have to been embraced and assumed in one way or another, and from his own traumatic memories, it would be an matter of time until his behavior causes … weariness. Well, he was scared it might be the case once more, that for sure. Hisoka-kun presence remind him always it wasn't going to be what going to happens, that no matter how he could feel down or not feeling at best mentally, he was going to be rejected on the second. There was that trust if someday he needed distance from him, for whatever reason, it wouldn't mean it has been something he caused. Concerning feelings topic, his brain turned inside an intensive mess, in which acompagnied fear to not be enough or be reduced to an single body tourmented his brain. He just became … attached … in an manner he didn't wanted to explain himself. He wanted Jotaro-kun to be happy on his presence, to be happy in general, to embracing his life as he should be … the longer he could … the longer his presence in return will not be some kind of annoyance. A long time ago, evolution concerning Hisoka-kun and Hijiri-kun relationship who became close, who wished to remain together no matter how usually Shinigami laws worked, has been making him temporary wish to touch same happiness of Hisoka-kun. In which, actually, he perceived Pandora's box been exposed when poor Hijiri-kun trapped in middle of the Witch of Illusions business defended Hisoka-kun getting another time martyrized. An working partner who had to realize he had feelings, and admit them publicly, after becoming seriously offended by seductive attempts of a kid wishing oral confirmation.
Oldest antecedent of a relationship he had had had been Tatsumi-san, in which his dark thoughts had been too much, and his guilt as a Shinigami had pushed him to remain distant, where everything that had happened remained behind him. Otherwise, there was Muraki. He didn't even wanted to bouce back mentally over the second point. He had lost all hope of ever being wanted, having known a man who had indeed wanted him, physically, sexually, fully --- but not in sweetest of final objectives, which had almost pushed him to want to disappear. Compared to Hisoka-kun who was young but could compromise all the seriousness of his work, he carried the weight of his job and his identity as a Shinigami. He might looking young, but he had been in this job for a long time, and remained semblance of an adult, because without Hisoka-kun, little administrative things would be difficult to sort out. He had only told himself that if he could weaken the weight of Jotaru-kun's traumas for a single moment, that he could feel more free from all the pressure he had experienced, that he could touch something else from what he had experienced, he would have served some purpose. Focusing on that kept him from wanting to ask for more than he could afford to receive, or from subjecting him to the imposition of unsolicited emotions. He even tried avoid his depressive phases to be oppressive.
Long experience he had with Hisoka-kun, especially afterwards the Witch of Illusions, made him immediately alert whenever something was wrong. He personally avoided showing all the distress of the days when he wasn't well, contenting himself with remaining in his thoughts and remaining a little distant, but without giving the impression that it had been his fault. After suffering from a mirror continually reflecting his own behavior, any sign was looked at carefully, seeking the middle ground for action. Hence, automatically, he wanted to show he was here. Automatically, he wanted bring that natural reassurance in which these darkest thoughts would be away, limiting about what he could confess concerning concerned feelings he had. He had been lucky to have come across such a compassionate person who wanted to provide justice similar to that of his working partner, who didn't hold it against him for being who he was, and who didn't carry any additional guilt for being a Shinigami. It was something he could try to thank him for day after day. During that time, since he was pretty much reading something to keep up to date, his attention was fixed on him when he went to take refuge on the balcony, although he waited a few seconds before advancing a little closer. He was used to this situation and intended to give him time to decide whether he wanted to explain himself or not. He wanted to avoid getting the wrong idea and being disappointed. Despite a desire to imagine that he would take the news in a good light, his heart already shattered by Muraki was in danger of collapsing before the other blow imposed on a brutally broken glass. The Witch of Illusions witch had pushed him to his emotional limit, it was only a matter of time before all his illusions would shatter, and he would suffer same degrading fate as Lelouch. Compassionate expression was offered in return, in which purple eyes just desired to making him better. He sensed his other hand into his, which generated an smile, though there was that fragment of instant he expected him to push that away --- ❝ Why shouldn't I ? ❞ He asked gently, in which there was an passing emotion going though his eyes to having actually that hand away. It was an question without been an question, as proximity of his presence could be warm to him. Heaviness concerning Jotaro-kun thoughts, he could understand that, nevertheless, if he had no clue about what going on inside his brain, he was limited to appease him physically as he could. ❝ Why shouldn't I ? ❞ He repeated again, with same patience he experienced with Hisoka-kun. ❝ My hands can soothe all darkness you feel right now, if you are willing to accept them … ❞ Another manner to showing he was here.
Which he has made far more obvious by expressing that following sentence, in which he noticed surprise back. Did it has been so bad of him, to wanting to reassure him at the moment he was crumbling inside his head ? He would have wanted someone here if this was for his personal case, he searched to thoughtfully perceiving circumstances in an bright side. If Jotaro-kun let him in, inside his own mind, inside his own soul, he would doing his best for removing darkness he was victim of, and bring all brigtness he could --- only if he wanted to let him in. Perceiving understanding and sort of thanking towards desired support, meanwhile his hands returned into his, in which he sensed himself blushed a little, that time around, there was no immediate trembling from his hand. He wanted instead oppossing tremor stop. It would never be like Muraki coming from his hands, to whom softness was indeed first emotion he felt. He nodded, to which same hand trapped in his sought to bring desired comfort in a perceptible innocence. ❝ Your touch is constantly gentle, and you need it more than I do right now ... if I can. ❞

Man, I'm really not at my best, giving my all, when I'm squeezed hot and wet among so many people. Not to mention fighting so that people who had higher numbers don't reach the front, like the official message strictly prohibits.
Regardless, the show was very intense.
The backdrop was a huge, epic tapestry of the Phalaris head with flames. The entire show consisted of lights, there was no screen this time.
A tech came with a basket and distributed Thermos bottles, water bottles with and without straws, as well as towels for each member's spot. At Kyo's, he left something like eight bottles of water, only two had straws, so you could guess that something was going to happen with the rest.
The members started coming in and the theme tonight seemed to be more white: Shinya was as usual, Toshiya's veil and upper draping were white this time, Die I think had some white too, Kaoru wore a black+white suit with different patterns for the top and bottom and either a tie or a dress shirt underneath whose lining made an 8 shape kind of. Kyo was in contrast, wearing a black G.I.S.M. shirt with a kind of white shinigami creature on it, and black pants with large pockets and a long belt.
The show went on basically like usual. Toshiya had so much drama in his moves, the way he poses with his hand hiding his face. He also blew away his white veil exaggeratedly as he turned around after the first song, but that veil quickly left his head. Yet, he may as well have still been wearing it, because his hair made a puffy curtain over his face. Everyone on site got so hot so quickly. Toshiya's abs got shown very early on. An hour more of those and I will have them memorized.
Schadenfreude is definitely basked in red and purple light. This time, the whole crowd shouted every: "Ikedomo jigoku ka", which didn't seem to delight or faze Kyo either way.
At the end of Utsutsu, Bouga o Kurau, it was obvious what Kyo wanted us to sing, but people started the "nananananana" way too early. Kyo's face went dead, clearly disappointed. We weren't a lot who were well-timed.
In the following song though, everybody redeemed themselves. We sang each backup vocal and Kyo had us sing the entire last paragraph. He seemed to say: "Yeah, this is your moment."
13 gets more and more intense, I feel. And the way Kyo walks so slowly onto his crate using the side step for the final chorus, as though contemplating the finality of it. Ugh.
The next two songs, Uroko and Eddie, feel like a blur. When the first notes of both Eddie amd T.D.F.F. start playing, it really sets off Kyo and he moves around a lot.
Kyo was even less coordinated when it came to the clapping part in GRIEF today. Well, mocking our clapping part that he had initiated himself years ago. And the growls were all raw throughout this song.
It felt so odd to witness Toshiya's backup vocals during Gaika chinmoku after working on that compilation, but it was great! Kyo repeated and repeated the ending lyrics way after the music ended, deploying everything his throat had to offer.
Otogi came and the stage was again bathed in red. Kaoru's guitar white noise seemed shorter than before. Toshiya traced from the top of his head to the ground in general at the beginning, and even Kyo was less sensual than in Yokosuka. Anyhow, not many fans seemed to be into Otogi, from what I could see. By the way, Kyo does not sing the high-pitched "Tadaakada"s; recordings are played instead.
For the last song of the main setlist, Kyo mumbled and growled stuff with his mic on the stand, long enough that I thought he wouldn't catch enough breath to growl "Nose, Eyes, Ears" but hot damn he did and the crowd went crazy for the entire song.
The members then left swiftly, some raising their hands on their way out. We called for encore immediately. After what seemed like forever, they came back. Shinya wore black pants and a black shirt; Die was dressed similarly but his shirt was more like a black, plunging V-neck tank top; Toshiya kept his black shorts and lacey skirt but put on a white sleeveless button shirt that he has definitely worn in the past; Kaoru had a classic black dress shirt, I think? Kyo just changed to the same Japanese heavy metal shirt that he had for the encore at Yokosuka.
Jealous started playing and everyone knew we were getting something special. The band played it without much passion or interaction though. In fact, Kyo sang essentially like the studio recording, face blank. The second song, maybe even more special, Sangeki no yoru, had a bit more passion, based on the fact that he added some screaming to some of the last lines, but that's it. Oh but most of the members (Die and Toshiya, as well as Kaoru I think?) were mouthing the lyrics to one of the songs during the encore. Not sure which.
The rest of the encore is where the band picked up the beat and intensity. I can't remember exactly when, but I feel like we also had to sing a lot in Utafumi and Sustain the Untruth, as well as all the "fucker"s and Ms in T.D.F.F. The crowd just kept moving in inorderly waves, especially when the members came up close on stage.
Kyo clapped and mouthed "bye bye", then left appearing satisfied. Toshiya sprayed us with water and the four remaining members threw their stuff. I don't think they drenched their towels to send them that far? Just tied them in a knot. Toshiya was all smiles, at the end and throughout most of the show. I remember how he just kicked that left leg onto Kyo's crate during one of the encore's songs, like it was nothing.
They left and the ending instrumental played three, four times, with the pre-recorded message that the show is finished being repeated at least twice too. Staff tried to ask us to leave, but we continuee to shout a chaotic mess of "encore" and "Dir en grey". Finally, Dir en grey returned! Kyo (who had removed the black, horizontal makeup he had during the ahow) said something about the crowd being loud enough for the encore, so they came back, but wondering if it had been loud during the main setlist. That's probably echoed in his recent Twitter post about him wanting tomorrow to be a continuation from that last point of intensity.
Un deux was played and at that point I barely had two feet on the ground, we were moved left and right. All I could see was Kyo and he was smiling a lot. I think he took off his earpieces entirely, had us sing and was glad we kept doing so even as he went on with his job eventually. Then, I think that the four other members left really quickly, because it was soon just Kyo having fun baptizing people in the front row with the many bottles of water that he had in the back. He was grinning so much, until he reached the right side of the stage and then looked dead serious on drenching the person to the last bit. He'd throw the bottle cap vigorously into the crowd, empty the bottle and then either gently hand it to a fan or throw it careless away in the crowd. He left looking happy!
We then finally turned around to leave, and I think that because we saw that cameras in the back had been filming us, we started clapping at some point, just to reiterate our joy.
Besides the two old songs played at the beginning of the encore and the double encore with un deux, it felt essentially like any normal show. Kyo even kept calling out for us as "Kyoto", while I expected him to say: "knot" or "a knot". Also, even the a knot 25th anniversary does not get Kamuy? What will it take?
Last note: Kyo was definitely filmed and there were cameras in the back too. Not sure about the rest, but it sounds like this could go out onto a DVD?
#Dir en grey#Phalaris#tour23 Phalaris vol II#live report#Kyoto#PhalarisII#Is it too obvious that we were too squeezed for me to see anybody other than Toshiya Kyo and Shinya hah?

Yesterday someone was showing me the archive and artifact rooms for their museum, and while fascinating in their own right, I was just like... b l o r b o s ... because of course. We were looking at contemporary artifacts--objects from a historic building that had burned down, objects from when they put the People Mover in (the slowest least popular train known to man me). And we were talking about funding and human capital and the fact that so much of this stuff is either not being collected at all (they're trying to reach an agreement with the city that all new building must require an archaeological survey first) or isn't catalogued or organized in a way that anyone can realistically access or use--like, it'll be organized by date input, or by provenance (Mr. Archive's Boxes O' Stuff that he donated), but not by topic, like here's all the stuff about this fort, or that hospital.
It makes me think about the differences in shinigami perception vs. human (my perennial happy place). Their lifespans are longer than a human's, which might suggest they have better memories for history, having been there. In some ways this is probably true--easier access to this or that part of stuff that happened 1000 years ago by default--but I also wonder if, in remembrance and analysis of history, their lifespans also work to their detriment. Because it's still something they lived, are living, through. It's not "history" enough, or it's still part of some active story, of the sort that are difficult to parse and understand holistically. Having been there gives you one important form of understanding/remembering, and a view from a distance another. But aside from that, what of the archive? Like, in the sense that it's like, oh, this is just some drywall from 1987, it's not really important, not like that piece of leatherwork from the Roman Empire they just found. Except so much of Soul Society's (or even just the Seireitei's) history would still be that drywall from 1987, mentally. No one REALLY knows it but it also doesn't seem ancient enough to be worth knowing. And there's data being lost even though it'd be easier to trace and record now because the perception is that it's not yet important enough to know.
idk man I'm just really tickled by the idea that rather than longevity-> less knowledge turnover across generations, the shinigami lifespan might instead hold history in abeyance.
I mean, my personal headcanon is that so much of Soul Society's work is tied to humans (and by extension their timescales) shinigami have unconsciously trained their brains into... expecting? working with that timescale, so beyond a human's natural capacity for memory it's counterintuitively somewhat difficult for shinigami to remember any of that shit, either. This hc was developed mostly in response to TBTP, which was only 100 years ago and inasmuch as it was all happening in a shroud of real secrecy/lack of knowledge, and also willful forgetting on the Gotei's part, I still feel like it's probably actively difficult their little shinigami brains or reishi constellations or whatever to meaningfully remember things 100+ years old, minus the general sense of it or particular flashbulb memories, the ghosts that persist.
#this post brought to you by 'blorbo thoughts screaming to get out' my daily fevered chanting is when is Internet time when is Internet time#when is Internet time when is Internet time i want Tumblr when is Tumblr want want want want#shinigamiology#no brain just bleach

Shitty Fan Theory Corner: G-Witch is giving me M3 vibes and this makes me very scared for future episodes lmao
SPOILERS FOR GUNDAM: WITCH FROM MERCURY and M3: THE DARK METAL ahead, PROCEED AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION.
Okay I might just be going insane from the fact that they left us with THAT ending before hitting us with a recap episode today I am SEETHING
(for the record, future readers: this was written on the 14th of May, 2023, but depending on your timezone it might already be the 15th)
(AAAANYWAYS , here’s to what might be my first longform post on this blog that’s not totally an art post lmao)
Okay hear me out.
If you’re here, you probably already are a G-Witch fan, if not: WATCH THE FUCKING SHOW, THEN COME BACK HERE. IT’S WORTH IT and also you will understand my pain.
Anyways, this might be surface level shit, but while watching G-Witch, alot of the plot beats have reminded me of one of my old favourite guilty pleasure shows. Specifically, M3: Sono Kuroki Hagane/”The Dark Metal”.
For those unaware, M3 is essentially this randomass mecha show from 2014 that I’ve seen nearly nobody talk about since 2014, probably because alot of people thought it was kind of trash.
While I admit the show is VERY flawed, I have a huge soft spot for it. I actually planned on posting fanart of it here at some point and then promptly forgot like a doofus, so might as well post that here now actually, just for the fun of it.
(above: Raika Kasumi, one of my personal favourite characters for the sole reason that she’s kind of a girlboss and always pilots the “normal” mech in the show and still somehow manages to kick ass.)
(above: the “Vess” mecha she pilots. These are OOOLD sketches but yea. Raika is the only straight person that matters)
Anyways, M3 is a story that is like 100% different from G-Witch wherein it follows this world that’s slowly being covered by a place called the “Lightless Realm” and a bunch of fellas who are technically in a school but also a military organization but not have to pilot mechs in order to fight off the monsters that come out of the lightless realm. So like, not even close to G-Witch.
Big takeaway is the fact that it tries super hard to be Gasaraki but it is not Gasaraki and so popular 2014 anime fanblog mcfuckface hated it and so everyone hated it and then it faded into obscurity even though the show went like,,, super hard despite its clunkyass flaws.
‘Coz Gundam’s y’know, it’s Gundam, the mechs fight other mechs, not kaiju. ANYWAYS,, the reason why I found them similar is in their plot, rather than the world and the characters.
See, M3′s mechs, the VESS, have only a very limited effectiveness when piloted into the Lightless Realm, wherein piloting a mech there for too long will kill the pilot, having their bodies get infected with “NecroMetal”, the titular “dark metal”, so to speak. This is a problem until really early in the show when a mech known alternatingly as the “MA-VESS” or “Argento” or “The Shinigami/Reaper” is introduced, who is seemingly immune to the effects of the whole “pilot is slowly being fucking murdered thingy” going down.
I think you see where I’m going here, but if not, let me spell it out for you:
the “big plot twist” with Argento is the fact that the mech is being essentially powered by the main pilot’s older brother, hence why he’s the only one who can pilot it, and why it’s immune to the “slowly fucking killing you” effects of the lightless realm.
I don’t even gotta say who that reminds me of.
Yeah.
(I apologize for the edit, I literally found an SD Aerial finally in-stock at my local hobby store and knew what I had to do LMAO)
I’m not fucking done, by the way.
Alongside this, we also have the fact that Emiru, a character who was thought to be a major player early on in the show fucking “dies tragically” in an early episode and then we never actually see her body, only to reveal that she’s actually powering another mech: Sable.
The “early tragic death” part makes me think that maybe El4n might be powering the Pharact (similarly to Eri’s whole deal) due to its dark colour scheme (”Sable” means something along the lines of ‘dark’, iirc) and also the fact that every other insane fan theorist seems to think so too.
Also they experiment on children.
Literally a Belmeria moment.
(above: seriously, this bitch is just like Bel fr fr)
(operates the fuckin’ child broiler and everything)
(pretty sure we get the main science dude’s assistant and Belmeria both vomiting over the main science character, in Witch’s case Prospera, explaining their evil science things. Which makes me scared. Because the Evil Science Dude dies by being torn apart by the ghosts of the people he wronged and like,,, Prospera is WAAAY too cool and sexy to go out like that. If anyone should do it, fuckin’ Delling should be torn apart by the ghosts of Vanadis, that’d be funky and cool lmao idfk)
Also, later in the show, the Argento gets this cool powerup that has really similar vibes to Aerial Rebuild’s weird EMP thing that killed Sophie, and then just like Suletta, the pilot of Argento basically is expected to use it every episode going forward up until like midway through M3′s second season, shit just STOPPED WORKING midway through the buildup to a super badass scene wherein the protagonist claims he’s gonna “save everyone” or something. And then it turns out that the older brother inside the suit just up and FUCKING DIED because it overstrained him.
While Eri didn’t fucking die, she did do the that thing in the most recent episode when Suletta was building up to deep fry Guel. Yes, that WAS Miorine’s betrayal, but everyone has basically decided before the next ep. even aired that this is Eri leaving Aerial’s body. Which is basically just the upgraded main mech turning “useless”, just like in M3.
And M3 ends with the character the audience assumed was “just a funky guy” who was actually more fucked up than he let on who asserts himself to be “a better fit” for the main love interest fighting a reinvigorated version of the main mech powered entirely by, if I remember correctly, the protagonist empathizing with “the machine itself” or something like that, whilst being haunted by a fucked up guy. If Suletta fights shaddiq again at the climax of the show, and one of her allies is fuckin’ El5n or Guel, or HELL, maybe even fuckin’ Sophie’s ghost,,, I will go even more insane.
Also Mahmu and Emiru have proto-Sulemio vibes and I think at this point that’s just the “I’m going insane from trying to cope” rather than rational thoughts but like I figured y’know. Might as well say that while I can lmao.
(she does not run and thus gains two: a cool robot AND a girlfriend! I need to publish my 10k word long Mahmu x Emiru M3 fanfiction somewhere before I go FUCKING INSANE,, seriously I am going fuckin’ bonkers these two have such SuleMio vibes with the whole “Sassy Boss Bitch who is actually really emotional but has no clue how to express that x Shutin SoftGirl who WILL FUCKING shank you” dynamic)
(plus there’s the whole thing about Emiru essentially forcing Mahmu to hate her in order to try and get her to open up to people and shit. And Mahmu misunderstanding this and being emotionally devastated every time she sees Emiru up until she realizes it was an act because Emiru actually wanted to be closer to Mahmu. Also having the realization inside of a giant fucking human-powered robot. Plus Emiru throwing essentially her life away because she wanted to be something. If that’s not a SuleMio type vibe, idfk what is.)
Look at how fucking gay they are even though M3′s producers were COWARDS and didn’t explore their relationship more also the fucking quote about fighting “for happiness [instead of] revenge” AAA I hope that becomes a SuleMio thing too. I am going insane.
Also both M3 and G-Witch have EXTREMELY banger 2nd ED songs that totally give away the “big twist” kept hidden during the first season (”put the big sibling into the fucking robot” lmao)
Y’allready know Red:Birthmark by Aina The END,,,, but give SABLE by Nano a fucking listen, this shit is SUCH A FUCKING BANGER. Ik it’s in english entirely but that just means you can sing along and I fucking LOVE the song it is driving me insane lmao
youtube
This shit goes hard, it goes crazy, fucking hell.
There’s actually more, this is mainly a surface level observation. Anyways someone PLEASE fucking remind me either right before or after the next episode airs to elaborate because either this will be confirmed or I will be totally wrong and if I am wrong I will be very happy because I don’t actually like predicting shows but G-Witch has me going CRAAAZY.
Anyways if you got this far I apologize. I will probably regret this entire post in the morning.
But yeah, what did we learn? G-Witch isn’t just The Tempest and Utena mixed with Gundam, it’s also M3 but with better writers and even gayer. Also I am going insane.
BUT THAT’S JUST A THEORY, A GAY THEO- [i am shot numerous times]

" i let my actions speak for themselves. " (from Tsuzuki Asato)
PROMPTS FOR PEOPLE WHO DONT SAY MUCH.

So I'm resently new in the genshin impact fandom but.
⚰️Imagen hu tao with the female undertaker. I'm mean do I need to explain more.
⚰️Them having undertaker dates because they are built different and whas more romantic than imbalming a person with you s/o.
⚰️Imagen hu tao's reaction to her s/o being popular for information for everything and how would she react to the price they need to pay for said information .
⚰️and how would hu tao react to her s/o being the legendary retired shinigami and her telling hu tao about her life as a shinigami and telling her about Cinematic Records.
⚰️Hu tao learning how her s/o likes to scare customers while hiding in coffins and doing the same Imagen them playing hid and seak and them opening coufins to find each other and one of them opened the wrong one and it's just a dead customer and there like oops my bad. 💀
⚰️Them sleeping in a big as coffin like bed they made together and talking about their job how fun it is.
⚰️How would hu tao react to her s/o her story about making her "dolls "alive and causing a intre cruseship to sink whit multiple dead and hu tao being mad that she didn't get any customers and makes a joke about doing it again if business is slow.
⚰️I see them having mourning jewelry with each other hair because death is beautiful to them and why just buy regular jewelry when you can carry a bit of eath other with you (Inspired by the undertaker his mourning lockets )
Hu Tao
You both are a match made in either Heaven or Hell, depending on who you ask. There are death jokes thrown around constantly to really brighten up the grim parlor. She adopts your jokes-for-information trade-off, and it really is great for the both of you.
She gets serious whenever she is handling funerals and a client’s wishes, but you tend to remain more positive and still very cheerful. As you were working on one of the bodies, you made a comment on how you would try to bring them back to life, but always failed because you couldn’t harness a soul into the body.
This definitely made her stop as she turned to you with a surprised look. You had to go through the whole process of telling her that you were a retired Grim Reaper and that back in your world, Cinematic Records would be shown to a Reaper who was reaping a soul. Hu Tao continued to ask questions as she got back to work and you began taking measurements and preparing the coffin.
Speaking of coffins, you both like to play hide and seek during your free time. There isn’t a lot of space in the parlor for it, so you choose to give each other three guesses in choosing the coffins the other thinks you’re in when it’s your turn to seek. There was one time where she accidentally opened a coffin with a dead person inside, and she let out an oops before continuing the game.
Y’all don’t have a normal bed, and only your employees would know. You designed a big coffin bed for the two of you, and you both are very happy with the result. It’s comfortable, and you both can cuddle with ease. Half the time, you aren’t even sleeping. It’s you telling stories about your clients and “dolls”.
Even though she’s really adamant about respecting the wishes of her clients, she’s curious as to how you made the bodies reanimated. You could see her inner turmoil, and you pulled a Dr. Facilier and said that there were a few unclaimed bodies that she could test. You convinced her, and she made her first “doll”, and she could see the problem with it.
By the way, you both definitely keep mourning lockets with each other. If you are to go out in public and show someone, they would think either you or her were dead. Her locket has a lock of your hair and an image of you, while yours has her hair and image.

Digimon Adventure{s} x Kagerou Project ~ AMV “Shinigami Record” A.M.V Preview {Short Edit} [Music (C) Jin, Singer: I.A. / Vocaloid] Featuring implied DUO/SHIP: Taichi Yagami [“Taichi (Tai) Kamiya” in U.S. Localization] x Koushiro(u) Izumi [“Koushiro (Izzy) Izumi”] [Taishiro(u)] {Links to past A.M.V.s/edits in this series here!}
[Note for this one: Somewhat angst-implied] {But perhaps with a lingering hopeful feeling?} (It’s also still very unfinished for now so you get a minimal ending instead?) [The links below contain inspiration from a fan*-made video + {*It’s fan-made / not official but it pretty much tells the exact actual story} information/lyrics on the full song / originating series, but it’s also not a direct / exact parody (still very inspired)]
Short Version Summary: The timeline of Inquisitive Heartless Koushiro stuck in Vade{r}mon’s dimension; where Koushiro was ‘stuck’ ‘mentally’ for 71 days in novel; known in the Adventure novel as the “Room of the Mysterious Universe”
{Note: In Adventure Episode #24, Koushiro loses Koushiros “Inquisitive Heart”; In the U.S. localization, this became (was localized to) “Curiosity”, however, the Digimon Adventure novel had more context on the state of it being Koushiro’s actual “Inquisitive Heart” that Koushiro had lost.}
Lyrics Preview:

If Vincent's bones were deliberately destroyed, then the one(s) behind it must be well aware of a) Undertaker's possible plans to revive Vincent b) Undertaker's whole technology of bizarre dolls c) Undertaker's feelings towards the Phantomhives. Reapers didn't know a thing about bizarre dolls and how they worked, so it's not them(at least, not the low ranks). John Brown then?
Also, it just occurred to me: if it's a head that matters when making bizarre dolls, why not to smash the brains only? Why go to such lengths as to destroy an entire body?
And it's really strange to leave the twins alive. Was there any agreement between the cult guys and the killer? Why not to kill them on the spot? Yana, give us answers already! 😆
Hey Anon! Real sorry for the delay, I've been hella busy. :3
I think John Brown is the culprit, yes, and that he acted on Victoria's orders [x][x], but I don't think that Vincent's body being voluntarily destroyed with fire [x][x] would necessarily have to do with BDs (they didn't exist yet, UT started to work on them when he rescued the twin's corpse) or with UT himself.
Rather, I think, in a simpler way, it was about avoiding that any acting Shinigami find out that a demon was behind the attack on the manor, or why Vincent had to die, when they came to collect his soul. After all, it's well known now in canon that...
...demons can interfere with the affairs and life of humans, beyond what the Shinigamis' higher ups oversee in the human world.
Additionally, it was textually said that UT laid low in order to avoid being noticed as a deserter by other Shinigamis, so I don't think John and Victoria knew about him specifically. However, it's likely that they suspected the P family had ties to the supernatural, if just because of their special lineage.
In other words, if John Brown is the one who attacked the manor, killed Vincent and started the fire in order to destroy his body, then he did it because he wanted to destroy proof that the attack was conducted by someone supernatural and/or whatever Vincent discovered of Victoria's... on-going plots.
As such, Vincent's cinematic record represented a big liability for him and Victoria, especially if Vincent indeed had a Shinigami on his side (which was the case, but I doubt John knew for sure).
Don't forget that the fire could have nothing to do with destroying Vincent's CR at all, though : maybe it was just a message to the rest of the Phantomhives' associates, that Vincent messed up big time and that his family had to pay for it.
That's why, to answer your last question, the twins were also morbidly played with, being sold to a cult that abused and tortured them, instead of murdered alongside their parents.
The big bad just didn't expect our!Ciel to summon a demon and to escape this fate. And for that, they'll pay dearly. :D
I hope it makes sense and answers your question? It's all theoretical anyway for now. :)) Have a good weekend Anon!

Bleach Boys + Reaction to S/O achieving bankai
**Bleach TYBW will be here any day now and I’ve fallen back into my oldie but goodie boys from the series ^_^**
Ichigo
Extremely proud
It took you longer than it did for him, since you didn’t want to take Kisuke’s shortcut, but you’d still done it in almost record time for a newer shinigami.
He’ll pat you on the back with a goofy grin, and offers to take you out to celebrate
You ask if you could instead just have a quiet evening at home with his family, to which Ichigo blushes while muttering ‘it won’t be that quiet’ but still agrees since it’s your celebration
Renji
They could probably hear him all the way in the Rukongai he’s howling so loudly
Renji has always been your biggest cheerleader. He never once thought that you wouldn't achieve bankai, and he’s been working with you from the start on helping you achieve that dream
When you finally do, he’s almost more excited than when he got his bankai
He’d pick you up in a big bear hug and spin you around in excitement. He can’t wait to tell everyone what his s/o has done!
Byakuya
Gives a single, solitary, nod of approval with a soft smile
Which in Byakuya’s world is as close to thunderous applause
He had no doubts on you being able to achieve such a milestone. You wouldn’t be his if you weren’t capable. Still, it is an occasion worth recognition as accomplishment is the only true thing worth celebrating
He has an elaborate dinner prepared for the two of you at the manor, as well as an ornate obi pendant commissioned symbolizing your bankai’s manifestation for your uniform
Shuhei
Shocked, to say the least
It took him decades to learn how to use bankai. Now suddenly use can just pull it out of your hat with ease?
He isn’t jealous. More angry at himself that it took him so long because he refused to accept his zanpakutō for what it was. The fact that you were able to achieve the technique so easily speaks volumes to your bond with it’s spirit and skill as a swordsman.
Still he’s very happy for you. That won’t stop him from trying to protect you ever chance he gets though
+Bonus Qunicy Boy – Uryu
It’s a little bittersweet for him
On the one hand, he’s very proud. He knows the kind of work and level of skill it takes to achieve bankai. It’s something he wants to be proud of you for.
On the other hand, his Quincy side is rattled by another powerful shinigami in the world. And he hates himself for that.
Still, he remains supportive of your growth and offers to take you somewhere nice to celebrate. He doesn’t want to dampen the moment, or your enthusiasm, which he admires so much.
