Later, Zelda buried herself in another memory. A memory of sleeplessness, of watching the white moon climb the sky outside her window. She let it play out, content to lay on her side with the moon in her eyes, hands pillowing her cheek.

“Why didn’t you do it?” a warm, dark voice asked.

Zelda didn’t flinch, didn’t startle, merely continued watching the moon. “Because that’s not who I am,” she’d replied.

“And who are you?”

“You should know,” Zelda quipped, refusing to roll over and face him. “You’ve been infiltrating my memories this whole time.”

“You’re a scared little girl.”

“Gee, thanks.” She rolled her eyes.

“A scared little girl that has somehow kept me at bay for seventy-six years.” The voice bit. “Will your silly hero ever wake up?”

Zelda snorted. “Wouldn’t you like to know?”

“You’re getting tired,” he mused. As if on cue, her body grew more exhausted, a weight on her frame pushing her down. “It’s how I’ve been able to speak to you like this.”

That gave her pause. Was her power truly waning? Was she reaching her breaking point? How long before her body gave out? Would Link still sleep soundly while her very essence was consumed by the Calamity?

Zelda shoved the thought away. “I liked you better when you were just some swirly tentacles trying to grope me every couple of years,” she sighed, pulling her bed covers closer around her.

She didn’t hear him approach, but felt the bed dip as he sat down on its edge. “And what might I be now?”

“A man.”

“Still, a man that could snap your neck,” he countered. “A man that could eat you whole and digest you into nothing but a memory. A man that could hold you captive as he tortures your pathetic hero into a weeping mess.”

Surprisingly, he said these with no real threat, a jovial sort of small talk - a hidden warning.

Zelda finally rolled onto her back. The man who greeted her was beautiful; warm Gerudo skin offset his flaming hair upon which was woven a headdress she’d seen many a time on her godmother. Below midnight blue eyelids, golden eyes sparkled. A strong Gerudo brow made his calculating smirk all the more sinister, and his strong jaw was highlighted by the short, neat cut of his scarlet beard. He was draped in gold, Gerudo finery clinking from his ears, clasping around his arms, baring his chest but covering his hips and thighs. He was strong, built well, built for war.

There were always tales that Ganon had been Gerudo. But these were simply scary bedtime stories passed down over twenty-thousand years. Laying eyes on him now, on the Gerudo warlord turned swirling Malefic entity, Zelda believed it.

“You’re Ganondorf,” Zelda breathed.

A large hand propped him up as he leaned in over Zelda, close enough for her to see the flecks of silver in his eyes. His grin was menacing and his voice breathy and low as he confirmed, “The one and only.”

Bos isn't used to his hair being this long, so he still needs help putting it up. Or maybe he just likes the way it feels when Ryza brushes it. Either way, Ryza loves playing with his hair, so she doesn't mind. 💙

I would love to write more for corlas! And also finally write the damn boorai fic I have outlined bc I've fallen in love with the Ryza games and love these two so much!

Probably the sheer amount I've written and shared 😰 this is definitely a new record for me! Even if I ignore the ficlet prompts from the previous year that I posted this year, it's still a significant amount of words and fics!!

I think it is actually Good he showed up so little on Ryza 2. It let Ryza, Tao and the others move the story On Their Own, you know. It was a good way to show their growth and when Empel and Lila return at the end to nudge them in the right direction, it's over something Ryza Crew had no way of knowing, after the MCs already did like fifteen archeological findings by themselves

Today I have an Aerith/Tifa fic! It follows the Remake & Rebirth continuity, and there are no major spoilers beyond Costa del Sol. I wrote this for a hurt/comfort exchange, and I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. The title comes from a song from the Atelier Ryza 3 soundtrack.

I am a fan of Zelda !!! I only played BOTW and TOTK so I don’t know if I can call myself a fan but I really enjoyed both ! I actually didn’t finished TOTK because I waited for my nephew to comeback from vacation so he can watch me beating Ganondorf (I also waited because I just don’t want to finish the game 🥸).

For age of calamity, I really enjoyed watching the cinematic hehehe. I actually don’t know very much about Koei game but I’ll look more into it later !

I can’t wait to see Zelda reference in one of the next fic !!

for the beyond live, I actually haven’t watched it lol I just watched some clips on twitter but let me tell you. My biases in dream are Jaemin and Haechan but because of this concert… I feel like Jeno is also becoming my bias (he’s actually my bias wrecker since forever haha).

And the performance I enjoyed the most was Boom, because dream is my fav unit and they wore SUITS 😭🙏🏼 I am a sucker for men in suits, I don’t why but whenever I see one I’m like 🤩🤩🤩 so yeah

i totally get what you mean! i am also just relatively new in the sense that i only played AoC, BOTW, and TOTK, but that still makes us fans, i think! as long as we have experienced the content and feel positively towards it, that definitely makes us fans, regardless of what era we came into the 'fandom' during (i think that applies for all things). has your nephew not yet come back from vacation? i've also only finished the four villages again, but i'm now wasting time collecting bubbul gems and avoiding ganondorf because I DON'T CARE ABOUT THAT MF! but if you ever beat ganondorf, let me know how it goes!! i'm curious to know if the fight is hard or similar to the phantom ones!

that's totally okay! koei games are rather old but i love how simple and mindless they usually are! when i was younger, i had a ps2, and that's when i first started playing dynasty warriors 4: empires. from then on, i was totally obsessed! some of their other games are samurai warriors (4 was great, but 5 is a super good story too!), atelier (e.g. atelier ryza), and i think they have tie-ins with other franchises like one piece warriors, fire emblem warriors, and super smash bros. ultimate to name a few!

for jealousy, i feel like my top three list is very odd, but i've rationalized it in my head enough to feel like i can defend it SOMEHOW (to myself): haechan, then mark, then renjun! haechan definitely feels like he'd be loud about being jealous too so that's why i put him on top! i can definitely also see jeno and jaemin have possessive streaks too!

it is absolutely not weird at all for you to be reading the queue updates! i'm super bad at keeping to plans because i'm a bit all over the place as a person and because i actually suffer from ocd, i have a tendency to fixate on something even if i know there's something else waiting for me and i feel compelled to do it to the point that i can't sit still at all until i get it done. hence, why i had no choice but to bang out salted caramel very quickly! i'm glad that the queue updates help you, and i really hope that in the future i won't have to confuse you or anyone else with my messy behavior :(

I’m in my 30s and much of my work is not for minors (although I will always warn, tag, and hide behind a readmore anything nsfw posted here). As an artist or a writer I know it’s hard to get visibility for what you create on the internet, and getting harder with algorithms that favor impossibly frequent posting or ban erotic art. But art and writing is play for me, and I’m just happy if you enjoy what I wrote or drew.

Six Sentence Sunday be upon us. :D

Having been seized by the plot bunny for my Harrison/Tina/Jerry S2 Flash AU, I didn't really accomplish too much else this week. Also the fault of Atelier Ryza and Voltron.

That said, I've got some snippets to share anyway. First up is from a post game 1 Ryza story where Agatha is acting as the annoying older sister Ryza never asked for and Ryza is having a slow realization that the reason her feelings for Klaudia are different from everyone else is because she's got a crush. It's a sort of slow paced fic so I'm not really sure how long it'll be.

Agatha gave her a scrutinizing look that felt rather unfair.  Usually she only looked at Ryza like that when there was trouble afoot.  Trouble that was, typically, Ryza's fault.  But, for a change, Ryza had no plans to get in to trouble. "Come find me after lunch instead, then. I've got a few ideas for you." Agatha reached out and ruffled Ryza's hair. "Hey!" Ryza exclaimed, shuffling away and straightening her hair out. An actual giggle left Agatha's mouth. If it weren't at Ryza's expense, she might've been pleased to hear it.

Agatha is an interesting character whom I suspect won't be much in the second game - if at all - but I really enjoyed her dynamic with Ryza. And I was pleased to see in the end game scenes that Ryza was clearly spending more time with her after her friends left during what was clearly a time skip.

Meanwhile I'm starting to finally gain some momentum with my Yu-Gi-Oh story. Joey's finally met Tea and I'm about to introduce Pegasus for some villain PoV. I think once I move past the introductory scenes I'll get some better movement for this one.

The young woman whirled around and… oh. She was about Joey and Tristan’s age. And pretty wasn’t a strong enough word for a girl with a face like that. Even if she was scowling at Joey for the moment. “Sorry, didn’t mean to startle you. Tristan and I come here sometimes, to get away from the noise of the rest of the city. I’m Joey.” He offered her what he hoped was a reassuring smile. “Tea,” she finally replied. “My name is Tea.”

Since Joey isn't rescuing Tea the way Aladdin did with Jasmine, Tea's a bit slower to trust this weird guy with a pet monkey. But they'll get there. While I intend to follow the basic plot from Aladdin - Joey meets and falls for the princess, gets recruited to retrieve a magic lamp, winds up the 'owner' of the lamp, wishes to become a prince so he can meet princess Tea again, winds up in the middle of an unexpected power grab from the royal vizhir, helps save the day, frees the genie, and is rewarded for his good deeds - I'm playing with a lot of the plot points. And, of course, being Yu-Gi-Oh the power of friendship is going to be important between both Joey and his friends as well as Tea and her friends.

And I really want to finish up Silence in the Night before I go on vacation so... wish me luck on that one. And, as always, I've got several competing Flash fanfic plot bunnies. Beware those bunnies, they're vicious.

(I'm not ready to post a snippet yet, but maybe next Sunday I'll include a little taste of the Star Wars fic I'm writing.)

Today at work was very annoying so we're gonna talk about things that aren't. Which means that I will not be talking about my progress with Atelier Ryza because I started Ryza 3 and once again everything is Too Much and therefore annoying. Someone once described a game as not respecting their time, and that's what I'm getting from Ryza 3.

But what I am enjoying is Spy x Family, which I finally started watching! I have been binge watching and already got up to the twenties, lol~ All the characters are wacky and rather lovable, and you get a good feel for the political background but the story is more about the characters. It just feels very balanced.

I also got off my butt and started working on one of my original stories a bit. Not a lot of writing yet, but I was blocked up on some setting that absolutely needed to get done before proceeding, so I'm going that. I'm still hoping to get some things sorted out on fics before the end of the year, too. I don't have a desk for personal writing, just work, so it's been hard to write (my bed is for sleeping and reading and TV and video games, not making stuff, so the whole vibe is off. Get yourself a creative space, gentle readers, you really do need that separate of space eventually even if you're okay for now), so even redoing a map and jotting down ideas like I've been over the last week or so has been an improvement.
