Beatus super Apocalypsim (The 'Rylands Beatus') Beatus de Liébana's commentary on the Apocalypse of Saint-John (written in 776 AD, revised around 784, c. 786). This manuscript was produced in Spain in the late 12th or early 13th century. Iconographically linked to the copies in the archives of the Cathedral of Gerona ("The Gerona Beatus", Núm. Inv. 7 (11)) and the National Bibliotheca in Turin ('The Turin Beatus', Sgn. I. II. 1). Date created: late 12th or early 13th century.
