I want to make new characters for my Snowball au.
Starting with Willow's family, because it's bugging me that we know nothing about Trixie's family outside her husband and daughters.
Willow's mum: Daphne(red poodle)
Willow's dad: Scotch(apricot poodle)
Willow's little sister: Lexi(red poodle)
Willow's brother-in-law: Ace(Lexi's husband, pink poodle)
Willow's first niece: Rose(Ace and Lexi's first daughter, pink poodle)
Willow's second niece: Garnet(Ace and Lexi's second daughter, red poodle)
Willow's nephew: Timmy(Ace and Lexi's son, pink and red poodle)
Uncle Porter(Scotch's little brother, silver poodle)
(Daphne is an only child)
Now I'll talk about Titan's family(Titan is a tan afghan hound).
Titan's mum: Amari(tan afghan hound)
Titan's dad: Sterling(black afghan hound)
Titan's big sister: Faith(tan afghan hound with black markings on her face, ears, and tail tip)
Titan's little sister: Stella(black afghan hound)
Titan's big brother-in-law: Shaun(Faith's husband, gray irish setter)
Titan's little brother-in-law: Prince(Stella's husband, blue afghan hound)
Titan's niece: Nora(Faith and Shaun's daughter, afghan hound/irish setter mix)
Titan's nephew: Thunder(Prince and Stella's son, black and blue afghan hound)
Now, let's talk about Titan's ex friends and ex-girlfriend.
Titan's ex-girlfriend: Molly(golden lab)
Titan broke up with Molly after he found out that she cheated on him with his ex friend, Gus(rottweiler), and he had to burn bridges with most of his friends after they chose to side with Gus. This is why he only had three friends during Double babysitter.
Titan's ex friends: Tango(white heeler), Beau(american foxhound), Ziggy(chihuahua), Specter(great pyrenees), and Jackson(saluki).
Titan's three remaining friends are Louis, Hank(boxer), and Schnitzel(Dachshund).
New kid characters
Mrs.Inu has fraternal triplets(one boy and two girls. They're the same age as Snowball, and they go to the same school and class as Snowball because they're mum's a teacher there(Mrs.Inu is a black and tan shiba inu)
Oldest triplet: Mochi(female, black shiba inu)
Middle triplet: Taco(male, tan shiba inu)
Youngest triplet: Cupcake(female, she is a white shiba inu, like her dad)
Mrs.Inu's name is Eclair, and her husband's name is Noodles(I thought it would be cute if they were all named after food).
Odin is a male german shepherd from Germany and is the Jean Luc of this universe.(he only spoke German until they meet again as teenagers in a flash forward scene).
Goldie has a little brother named Ryder. He's the same age as Bisket and is his best friend, as they go to the same school.
Duke has a big sister named Sally, she is ten years old, and is very protective of her little brother.

Remain in Light | On the Talking Heads by Mary Gaitskill
Lost my shape—Trying to act casual! Can’t stop—I might end up in the hospital
—“Crosseyed and Painless” Talking Heads, Remain in Light
In 1979, I was an almost total dork. I didn’t know what was going on—in any way, really, but especially as regards culture and fashion.
My first encounter with culture and fashion was when I was seven and my mother took us to a roller-skating rink, where teenagers wearing dos and poodle skirts with flannel appliqués roared ferociously around in a circle while music played. One girl’s skirt had on it slogans like “Do the Twist!” and “The Mashed Potato!” and I watched her ferocious movement around the rink with amazement and terror.
I was afraid because I was looking at a world of signifiers and abstraction, broad basic swatches of feeling and experience expressed in symbols that were both general and refined, a whole language of symbols that I didn’t speak and which instantly struck me as too complex to learn. I was looking at the future.
Five years later, I would be required, along with everyone else in my junior high school, to fit my personality into a similar system of symbols that I couldn’t get right. The only thing that kept me from social autism was music. Anything from Nancy Sinatra to the Four Tops to Mitch Ryder to the Association—it was refined and shapely, like the social styles that so defeated me, but it was also fluid and fundamental as preverbal sound. The songs did not have prescribed meaning for me, so they could mean anything. I would go to sleep at night with my transistor radio pressed against my head, letting the “anything” take forms that were too mysterious and personal to turn into a symbol that I could put on my skirt or my hair. It made me feel connected, even to the people who had mastered the art of style—because I understood in some way that they must hear this more mysterious thing, too.
Three years later, I dropped out of school and ran away from home. For a while it was like disappearing into the songs on the radio. But in five years I was struggling to get by, and by then I wasn’t paying attention to any style system. I liked music a lot, but it was background to me, not any kind of main event. I liked Patti Smith, the Cars, 10cc, the Electric Light Orchestra, Robin Trower, Roxy Music, and it was all equal to me. It did not have prescribed meaning, and it did not define me in any way. When I decided to go back to school, I went to community college and hung out with people who got high in deserted housing developments and screwed to Frampton’s Camel, then drove home meditating on Gary Wright’s “Dream Weaver.” I liked that, too.
Then I went to a real university and met people who knew what was going on. I briefly went out with a guy I’ll call Jenkins, who introduced me to the Ramones, Elvis Costello, and the Talking Heads. He had excellent taste. He read Rolling Stone and The Village Voice and he knew exactly what these bands meant and why they were important. He and his friends had a softball team called the Psycho Killers (with individual shirts labeled “Ted Bundy” “Richard Speck,” etc.) and Texas Chainsaw Massacre posters up in their house. It was like being at the roller rink. It was also like pressing the transistor radio to my ear. I didn’t know how to separate the music from the pretense around it—college-kid pretense, both wonderful and idiotic, a mixture that felt so false and so true that I didn’t know how to react to it. Like a dork, I would fume about snotty art students singing songs about murder—I had experienced real violence, I said, and it wasn’t funny. But I said that because I didn’t know how to say what I really felt—which was that the cleverness, humor, and sometimes perverse torque of the music was a nearly flawless form that I felt stunned by and locked out of.
I still don’t know what was going on in 1979. What I remember is a mass dream of joy and pain, both slightly delirious, neither fully felt. The nonfeeling created a certain morbid innocence that in my mind looks like that of the victims in the disaster/murder movies that were popular then—an awful blank optimism, best expressed on the “face” of Mr. Bill, the cartoon victim on Saturday Night Live. Jenkins was right: “Psycho Killer” was the perfect song for this moment. And because it was he who was right, the music got mixed up with sex that was like twisting and crushing myself into weird forms until my “self” broke and something powerful and formless came out, then withdrew again.
I heard that in the music, too—the weird, twisting form, the bouncing, jerking, deliberate, and sophisticated childishness of it. I loved it and hated it. Maybe I felt mocked by it. The week Jenkins and I broke up, I published a story in a local paper about a hydrocephalic guy in a wheelchair who’d been wrongfully locked up in a state home for crazy retarded people because his poor, battered inner-city family had been unable to care for him or get him diagnosed correctly. My story about him got bounced out of the lead position by a million-word analysis of how important the Ramones were. There was a huge picture of the Ramones joyfully pretending to be retards, while the deformed beatific face of the hydrocephalic guy smiled from the corner. It was me and the hydrocephalic guy versus Jenkins and the Ramones, and they’d won! I felt like the fool David Byrne sings “No Compassion” at, and it was more humiliating than it should have been.
Or maybe it was exactly like it should’ve been. It was around then that I started waking up in the morning and having no idea who I was or where I was. I had to remind myself, and it took several minutes. I would call up images, pictures of myself doing things: walking to class, in a restaurant drinking tea, talking to someone. At first the pictures were bizarre and alien, then neutral, then I’d say, Oh, right, and get out of bed. My self, it seemed, really had broken, and something unfamiliar was trying to emerge. It was scary, but it was powerful, too. I wanted to know who it was that was looking at the pictures before I said, Oh, right. I started writing stories that were more real than anything I had written before. I started listening to music, really listening. Sometimes I wrote with headphones on.
It was during this time that I heard Remain in Light. It was like meeting an enemy and realizing he’s an ally. It was like the hard, clever form of their old songs had burst, and something was pouring out of it—something that had always been there. Listening was like going through a tiny door and coming out somewhere vast, with thousands of doors and windows to a thousand other places. Sometimes the music flew past the places, and sometimes through them. One world might be the gauze through which you looked at another, and then it would be the world. I could be the person walking down the street or having tea and then I could be the person looking and not knowing who I was; each moved through the other, seen and not seen. I was changing shape, and it was an accident, and this music not only understood that; it celebrated it. It described something that was happening in me, and something that was happening in everybody, all the time, to the hydrocephalic guy and to psycho killer.
I wasn’t saying this to myself while I listened to the music. It was something I understood deeper than words, in a way my mind could only glimpse. The understanding was like a seed, and it would be a long time before it began to germinate. It would be even longer before I had the means to communicate what was being grown. But that was okay. I knew it was there. I heard it.

Everything wrong with Johnny Depp.
1. MARCH (1989)
Johnny Depp, 25, was arrested and held in custody for three hours early Wednesday after police answered a noisy party complaint at a hotel in the West End section of Vancouver, where '21 Jump Street' is filmed. The trouble started when a security guard asked a group of people to leave the hotel and Depp allegedly then assaulted the guard. Telephones in the hotel lobby also were damaged in the incident. Depp was released after promising to appear in court April 12.
Actor Johnny Depp got off scot-free with an absolute discharge after pleading guilty in a Vancouver, British Colombia, court to an assault charge. Depp’s lawyer, Richard Israels, told provincial court his client regrets the incident. The lawyer said Depp overreacted during a discussion with the guard.
2. 1989
Jennifer Grey, Johnny Depp’s fiance: She said that Depp proposed to her within two weeks of meeting her and they got a pekinese-poodle puppy called Lulu.
He’d started missing his flights home to LA having overslept or, when he did come home, he’d be crazy jealous and paranoid about what I’d been up to while he was gone.
3. SEPTEMBER (1994)
JOHNNY DEPP, the star of "Edward Scissorhands" and "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" was arrested early yesterday and accused of smashing furniture and glass in his room at the Mark Hotel on East 77th Street, but officials said charges of felony criminal mischief would be dropped after he pays $9,767 for the damages.
Police Officer EILEEN PEREZ, who responded to a call by the hotel at 5:30 A.M., described the scene she found in Room 1410. "We opened the door and there was Depp sitting there, smoking a cigarette, cool and calm," she said. His girlfriend, the model Kate Moss, was with him, the officer said.
"There was glass all over the place and furniture upside down and broken table legs," she continued.
As he was taken to the 19th Precinct station house, she related, Mr. Depp said to another officer, referring to Officer Perez: "I don't think she likes me. But if she saw me at a mall, I bet she would ask me for an autograph."
"No, Johnny," Officer Perez responded, "I don't think so."
4. LORI ANNE ALLISON (1988).
Sources say he paid his first wife, Lori Anne Allison, $1.25 million to keep quiet after he allegedly left a long ranting message in which he repeatedly used the N-word. The previously unreported settlement was accomplished using fictitious names to avoid scrutiny, with Richard Green serving as the stand-in for Johnny Depp.
5. WINONA RYDER(1989-1993).
During the filming of Black Swan in 2010, Ryder was quoted as saying: "The scene where I trash my dressing room was my last scene. I remember my first boyfriend used to smash everything—at eighteen, everything is dramatic." While she doesn't explicitly name Depp, the timeline fits.
6. KATE MOSS (1998)
‘’I was with Kate, and I think he went straight for the romance jugular, shit like whether I beat her enough. I probably told him, ‘Yeah, she gets a severe beating.'”
7. ELLEN BARKIN (1998).
Mr Depp threw a bottle across the room in her presense. ‘’He is just controlling, jealous man.’’ Actress Ellen Barkin claims Johnny Depp always had 'an air of violence around him' (page 6, paragrapgh 17)
8. FEBRUARY (1999).
Johnny Depp was taken into custody after he scuffled with paparazzi outside the posh Mirabelle restaurant Saturday night, cops said.Witnesses told police that Depp exploded in anger as several lensmen tried to snap his picture. The bad-boy actor picked up a long wooden plank and began swinging it, threatening to bash the snappers if they didn’t go away, authorities said.Depp spent four hours in police custody before being released with a caution that if he blew up at photographers again, he’d be thrown in the slammer overnight.
9. APRIL (2012)
Johnny Depp is being sued by a 52-year-old disabled woman who says she was roughed up and humiliated by the actor's bodyguards during a concert back in December ... claiming Depp's hired muscle beat her up and tore her pants off.
A judge has dismissed the case -- finding Robin had no justification for filing anonymously.
10. AMBER HEARD (2013 - 2016)
Johnny Depp physically, emotionally, verbally abused Amber Heard from 2013 till 2016.
11. JULY (2018)
Johnny Depp has been sued for allegedly assaulting Gregg “Rocky” Brooks, a former location manager on Depp’s upcoming film City of Lies. In the suit, Brooks said that Depp punched him twice in the ribs. He also accused the actor of verbally assaulting him and saying he’d pay the crew member $100,000 to hit him back.
Johnny Depp admitted to GQ that he smacked the location manager. Then it was redacted.

Celebrities Who Were in ‘Fallout’ Games Part 1
You may not know this, but the Fallout game franchise has actually had famous celebrities guest star in their games. Some you may know, and some you may not have heard of, but maybe you recognized their voices without realizing it.
1. Keith David
Keith David is a voice actor who is known for voicing ‘Goliath’ in Gargoyles, ‘Dr. Facilier’ in The Princess and the Frog, ‘Flame King’ in Adventure Time, and ‘King Andrias’ in Amphibia. Besides cartoon characters, Keith David also voiced characters in other video games, such as ‘The Arbiter’ in the Halo series, ‘David Anderson’ in the Mass Effect series, ‘Sgt. Foley, in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and Al Simmons/Spawn in Mortal Combat 11.
In the very first Fallout video game, Keith David voiced a man named ‘Decker’, who was a powerful crime boss in The Hub. Decker rules over the crime ridden city of The Undergrounder, and can offer two jobs to the Vault Dweller...but you can also bring down his criminal empire with the help of The Hub authorities.
Overall, Keith David’s excellent voice acting skills really do fit within the Fallout universe.
youtube
2. Katherine Soucie
Katherine Soucie is a voice actress who has played many characters in cartoons from the 90′s and 2000′s, such as: ‘Phil and Lil’ in Rugrats, ‘Maddie Fenton’ in Danny Phantom, ‘Lola Bunny’ in Space Jam, and ‘Kanga’ in the Winnie the Pooh franchise. Besides cartoons, Katherine Soucie also voiced characters in video games such as: ‘Rachni Queen/Kaira Stirling/Greta Reynolds’ in Mass Effect, ‘Sally/Shock’ in The Nightmare Before Christmas: Oogie's Revenge, ‘Taro’ in Final Fantasy X, and ‘Naryu Virian’ in The Elder Scrolls Online.
In the first Fallout game, Katherine Soucie voiced two characters. The first character was a girl named ‘Laura’, who is a member of the Children of the Cathedral and a spy for the Followers of the Apocalypse. Laura pretends to be meek, submissive, and quite to hide the fact that she is a spy for another cult, and is actually quite strong and sharp. If the Vault Dweller gives her a password, she will help them enter the LA Vault. Another character that Katherine Soucie played in the same game is The Master’s female voice. The Master is the main villain of the first game, and is the one creating the Super Mutants that ravage the Wastelands.
Katherine Soucie has returned in the recent Fallout game, Fallout 76, voicing robots and a Crater Raider named ‘Surge’, who will betray the leader of the Crater Raiders if we ask the Raiders for help in breaking into Vault 79.
Katherine Soucie is a veteran voice actress who has played characters from our childhoods and continues to do amazing work.
youtube
3. Tony Jay
Tony Jay is a voice actor who was known for voicing villains in animated movies and tv shows, such as: ‘Judge Claude Frollo’ in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, ‘Shere Khan’ in The Jungle Book 2 and Talespin, ‘Megabyte’ in Reboot, and ‘Monsieur D'Arque’ in Beauty and the Beast.
In the first Fallout game, Tony Jay voiced an intelligent Super Mutant named ‘Lieutenant’ who is the right hand man of The Master and the commander of the Mariposa Military Base. Lieutenant known for being more intelligent than most Super Mutants and has important information about The Master, which can come in handy for the Vault Dweller.
Tony Jay also voiced another Super Mutant character named ‘Attis’ and was also the narrator in Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel. Like Lieutenant, Attis is highly intelligent for a Super Mutant and created an army from the remnants of The Master’s fallen army. He is the Brotherhood of Steel’s greatest enemy and is the main antagonist/final boss of the game.
Tony Jay’s voice was perfect for dark, cruel villains. Sadly, he passed away in 2006 at the age of 73...but he will always be remembered for his excellent voice work.
youtube

The Vault Dweller would become a trusted ally of Tandi after saving her town from their enemies, and she would go on to become one of the most influential people in the Capital Wasteland.
Cree Summer returned in Fallout 2, but as a different character named ‘Joanne Lynette’. Joan Lynette is a woman who is the pillar of the community, Vault City, who seeks the Chosen One’s help and can exile them from vault City if the Chosen One gets on her bad side. But if they remain on Lynette’s good side, she can make them the Captain of the Guard in Vault City.

Hank Anderson’ in Detroit: Become Human.
Clancy Brown also appeared in live actions roles in both movies and tv series, such as: ‘Capt. Byron Hadley’ in The Shawshank Redemption and ‘General Wade Eiling’ in The Flash.
In Fallout, Clancy Brown voiced ‘Rhombus’, a Paladin and Head Knight of the Brotherhood of Steel in Lost Hills. Rhombus is very dedicated to the Brotherhood and tries to keep political struggles outside of the research and development in New California.
While Clancy Brown is known for playing villains, he is also great as playing allies to the main characters.

I’m info dumping about my ocs because I’m excited and it’s around their birthdays (concept days?) anyway. They’re both a year old in oc years.
I’ve talked about them before but here they are again in a more cohesive post.
Old doodles included.
Dr. Aaron Durrand Ryder
Height: 5′9′’
A pretty fit guy, with green eyes and dark brown hair. I based his design on one of Axton’s heads and went “but more hairy and disheveled”. He bulks out after some time on Pandora, and gets even hairier.
Favorite color: Yellow
Planet of Origin: Demophon
Likes: Science, motorcycles, poisoning bandits, and robots.
Dislikes: That asshole that touched his bike, the ocean, and animals with tentacles. (”An octopus has all those limbs and the suction cups have TEETH”)
I don’t draw him nearly as much as I should, but this is him. He’s a former Hyperion researcher specializing in cybernetic technology.
By the time of borderlands 1 he’d be somewhere in his mid 40s.
He dies in his mid 30s
He’s devoted his life to the study of cybernetics and biotechnology, and develops an obsession with Eridian technology and guardians, which leads him to become a vault hunter on Pandora.
At some point on his quest he becomes close acquaintances with Dr.Zed, Moxxi, Helena Pierce, and her husband; and he also picks up and adopts a child abandoned by bandits.
His primary motivation is knowledge when it comes to finding the Vault, and will do just about anything to obtain it.
As a father he’s very protective, and enthusiastic when it comes to teaching her. He’s also an excellent teacher.
Was friends with TK while working for Hyperion.
He’s aro/ace.
--
Erin Durrand Ryder
Status: [Alive] In borderlands 1, she’s 24 years old
Height: 5′4
Bl 1: At first glance she looks like she has the physique of a ballerina (which I cannot do much justice in my drawing), and she’s stronger than she looks. Mostly blonde hair with cherry blonde streaks. Perpetually greasy, but wavy when clean. Brown eyes. Has a crap ton of freckles and scars.
Bl 2: Her hair is cut short, and at some point she lost her arm. (even if I don’t really show it in some of my old drawings).
Bl 3: Her hair is long again, but there was an accident and half of it had to be shaved off. She thinks she looks cool anyway.
Favorite color: Blue
Planet of Origin: Pandora
Likes: Motorcycles, setting things on fire, biology, robots, and fishing
Dislikes: (as a child) Stalkers (trauma), (as a teenager) pastries (she had one bad experience with baking and it just ruined them for life), and (as an adult) guns (she gets over it).
She is my daughter and I love her, but I put her through so much hell it’s ridiculous.
Erin is the daughter of a bandit prostitute belonging to the Zaford clan. She and her mother attempted to leave once and managed to get away as far as the frozen wastes. But they were unfortunately captured by another group of bandits and thanks to their accents were sent back to the Zaford clan.
She accidentally burned down the bar when she was playing a knife throwing game in the back room while her mother was dealt with. Then she was fed to Stalkers and was soon rescued by Aaron.
Afterward she was raised by him, and to some degree, Zed; and got an outstanding education. Even lives a fairly easy life thanks to her adoptive fathers.
By Pandora standards she’s pretty lucky.
She has adhd and has a tendency to self medicate with caffeine. Then has trouble sleeping and uses tranquilizers to fall asleep.
She’s a cocky little shit so she thinks that this won’t hurt her. (ha.)
She becomes friends with the first group of vault hunters, but becomes ultimately closest with Mordecai and Brick.
She adopts a skag puppy at some point and later a stalker (though those ideas are on the verge of becoming scrapped because I have too much going on.)
There’s a little robot that she has that can be used as a small medical device to detect abnormalities in the body.
She has a better idea on how to make antibiotics from scratch than on what a poodle is. Seriously, she has no idea what those paws are around Brick’s neck for the longest time.
She’s a workaholic and prone to hyper focusing for long periods of time.
Works at the clinic in New Haven for awhile before following the Vault hunters.

A scene from Edward Scissorhands: identity vs social norms
The scene can be found here.
How is identity portrayed?
The movie ‘Edward Scissorhands’ tells a story of a boy with scissors in place of his hands, a feature that makes him very different from others. He struggles to find his place in the world and fit in with the society. He gradually learns how to form relationships and even make use of his special abilities. In the analyzed scene we can see that he still doesn’t quite know who he is. During the interview, he responds with enthusiasm to the woman proposing him a surgery which would give him normal, human hands. Then some other women from the audience notice that the scissors he would get rid of are what make him special, if it wasn’t for them he would be just like everybody else. His caretaker then suggests that it’s not his scissorhands that make him so special, but his good nature. This dialogue shows how complex identity is, and how many dilemmas we face when we’re trying to understand what makes us who we are.
Other elements of video analysis
Sound:
The sound of clapping people and dialogues between them are the first most important sounds in this scene, because of them we can understand the situation in which characters are. When the protagonist is asked a question about his beloved one there is the first non-diegetic sound which is a quiet song in the background that shows us the importance of this moment and emotions of the protagonist towards the girl in front of TV.
Camera Shot:
The distance between the camera and the subjects of the scene changes, subtly illustrating the emotional significance the events have from their perspective. The members of the audience are usually shown in long and medium shots, sometimes indirectly, through a TV screen. Even if kind, they are merely distant strangers. On the other hand, Edward’s reactions are captured more closely. When a question about his relationships is posed, the camera zooms in on both Winona Ryder’s and Johnny Depp’s faces, evoking a feeling of intimacy between them, further emphasized by the music score.
Montage:
The cuts between close ups of Edward and the audience which gradually speed up make the scene more suspenseful. It also builds a more personal relationship with the protagonist. The fact that the viewer can hear the claps and awws even when the audience isn't visible on screen paints a more united and life like scene.
Camera Angle:
There are a lot of eye-level shots of Edward, it mimics how we would perceive him in real life to feel more connected to the character. There are a few lower-angle shots, which in this case, mimic how Edward would see the audience as he is sitting in a chair and the audience sees him from the rows that surround the sitting area, placed in the lowermost part of the room. The shot seems almost overwhelming as it towers over the camera shot, we can anticipate that it is also overwhelming to Edward, who throughout the scene has a range of emotions going on on his face. The camera shots usually levels with whoever is on the screen, usually to show emotions more clearly or to mimic a character’s perspective and perception of their surroundings like in case of the kids in front of the tv. We can also see some higher-level angles, almost a bird’s-eye view at the beginning of the scene, which shows the whole room where the televised interview is being conducted. There are some eye-level shots of Kim, so that the viewers can feel more connected to the character as she watches Edward on tv and waits for him to answer the question on-air, one that is related to their bond. Thanks to this shot we can see the anticipation and many other emotions visible on her face.
Mise en scene:
The action of the video takes place mostly in a TV studio, but also in a house. Edward Scissorhands is invited to appear in a show where an audience asks him questions. The studio is bright and colourful, so are the people there. In contrast, Edward is pale and dressed in black, which shows that he isn’t like them and doesn’t fit in. Despite the seemingly welcoming atmosphere, Edward is uncomfortable with attention and the questions aren’t tactful and at times, even mocking. Also, next to him are placed a hedge cut into the shape of a giraffe and a poodle with its hair cut. That obviously references Edward having scissors instead of hands and implies that he himself did that. The place of the action changes when Edward is asked about his love life. Then it takes place in the house of his love interest, Kim, where she watches the show with two boys. She is attentive and waits for his answer, the boys tease her about her feelings. After the host repeats his question, there’s a shot of Kim and Edward looking straight forward as if they were looking at each other despite not being in the same room. It’s cut short when Edward incidentally destroys the microphone, implying that they still haven’t admitted their feelings.

Holiday Window Displays
One of the most famous scenes in holiday movie history happens in “A Christmas Story,” at the Higbee's department store window display. It's here that Ralphie first spies the Red Ryder BB Gun that forms his Christmas dream and drives the narrative of the movie.
What many may not know, however, is that Higbee's was an actual department store in Cleveland, Ohio, known for their elaborate window displays.
The then Vice-President of Higbee's, R. Bruce Campbell, allowed the moviemakers to film inside of the department store, and in fact offered up employees to feed the crew, style hair and do make-up. Many employees served as extras, too. But there was only one catch: Campbell allowed all this only if there was a guarantee of no profanity in the movie. Producers agreed, and that's why when 'The Old Man' works on the furnace the words are nonsensical, and also, of course, why Ralphie is heard to say, “FUDGE,” instead of the word he said he actually used.
Higbee's was the first department store in the greater Cleveland area, featuring 12 floors of shopping. It was opened on Cleveland's Public Square in 1931 and remained open until 2002-when it was the last of the downtown department stores in Cleveland to close.
The store windows were a key feature in the Great Depression. Today it's easy to underestimate the impact of such a display-with electric lights (still uncommon in many households in the '30s); animatronic figures; trains, tinsel, and more.
With the window being so iconic to the Cleveland area, to commemorate the Higbee's displays, in 2007 the corner window and front area of the department store reopened… as a modern Visitor Center as well as the Positively Cleveland (the city's convention and visitors bureau) headquarters.
Watch the clip below for more about Higbee's and Christmas.

Window displays are as much a part of the holidays as Santa himself; you'll find the most elaborate ones in some of the biggest cities in the world. During the holiday season, some stores' creations are literal works of art.
Places like Galeries Lafayette in Paris and Selfridges in London, as well as entire blocks of Fifth Avenue in NYC-spare no expense in making some really special displays.

Bergdorf Goodman, New York City
The Bergdorf Goodman window features actual desserts-licorice carousels, cotton candy poodles, candy cane dresses, and more.
See it at Fifth Avenue & 58th Street, New York, New York.

Harrods, London
London's most famous department store illustrates Christmas rituals, like Bettega Veneta's “Unwrap the Day,” and Dolce & Gabbana's “Leftover Fridge” (Pictured).
See it at 87-135 Brompton Rd., London
Le Bon Marché, Paris
This year Le Bon Marché unveiled pine tree-themed window displays, with forests adorning the interior and toys tucked under them. See it all in the City of Light at 24 Rue de Sèvres, 7th Arrondissement. And don't worry about the employees dressed as elves- they're there to help you!
Brown Thomas, Dublin
Broadway Musicals are the inspiration for Dublin's luxury department store Brown Thomas. Entitled, “It's Showtime,” the store windows each set a different scene from stage & screen. See dancers at the Moulin Rouge, a girl selling cigarettes at a theater box office, and more when you visit Brown Thomas at 88-95 Grafton St., Dublin

Review – Styled For Murder by Nancy J Cohen @nancyjcohen
Cozy mysteries have such fun covers and titles and Styled For Murder by Nancy J Cohen is a prime example.
Amazon / Goodreads
MY REVIEW
“There’s a dead guy in our shower. You have to come right now.” And that is how Maria’s day begins.
Styled For Murder by Nancy J Cohen is a fun cozy mystery with plenty of suspects to put my puzzle solving skills to use. I love the cover and the play on words as I try to solve the mystery. Even though there is a dead guy, I find myself smiling as I read along.
Maria Vail owns the Cut N Dye Salon and has a wonderful husband, an adorable ten month old, Ryder Harrington Vail, a teenage daughter, Lucky, a Golden Retriever and Spooks, a poodle. That makes for a pretty Full House.
Her husband, Dalton, is a homicide detective and she loves to dabble in sleuthing herself, so we know where this is going…even though she gave it up when she had children. Sure…
It doesn’t surprise me when she opens an envelope and reads… stop asking questions or her family could be hurt.
Maria will find out many things and it confirms the saying, you can run but you can’t hide. Your past will follow you wherever you go. And secrets…they rarely stay buried.
Styled For Murder by Nancy J Cohen was a fun romp through the pitfalls of home renovation. Of course, most of us will never find a dead body in our bathroom, delays, shoddy work, and difficult people is the norm. I had a lot of smiles and chuckles as I investigated the death and there were plenty of culprits that could fit the bill.
I voluntarily reviewed a free copy of Styled For Murder by Nancy J Cohen.

Introduction meme
A small introduction meme for your new and old followers. I thought it would be good to just do it. Maybe people will get more open with you or someone might get the courage to finally contact you~
Any questions you feel too uncomfortable answering you can skip or put a N/A on. It’s all up to you. I was tagged by @seboostianillustrations, thank you a bunch <3
Rules: There never was none, there never is none, go wild.
Name: Amanda
Nicknames: I really don’t have any, to be honest. I’ve always been called by my full name.
Pronouns: she/her!
How did you get your username/Url?: Honestly, just a spin off “pathfinder” mainly because my Ryder is a huge cry baby.
Favorite Fandom: please don’t make me choose just one, there are so many ;;; Dragon Age, Mass Effect, The Elder Scrolls, The Arcana - to name a few of my main obsessions.
Your Hobbies: Reading, Drawing, video games, and talking/writing about my trash kids
Got a main muse or more? Show them to us:

Give us 5 unfiltered facts about yourself to make your followers feel a little included:
1. I’m incredibly awkward and antisocial when it comes to new friendships and I some times come off as standoffish- I promise I don’t mean to, i am just very awful at socializing. But when we get close enough I am ridiculously talkative and prone to spamming my friends when I’m excited. 2. I am very unhappy with my height and that’s why I create most of my OCs as under 5′4. I don’t know why I hate my height so much (5′7/170.18 cm) but I’ve just always thought if I was shorter maybe I’d be happier with myself? As stupid as that sounds. 3.I practically live in a zoo, there are so many pets in this household. I have 2 dogs, a standard poodle and a chow/border collie cross. 3 cats, all lovable smooshes. 1 ancient rat, who is the coolest old lady ever. 2 ferrets, who are the light of my life and the essence of my very soul. Lastly about 10 chickens. 4. I have so many ocs as a product of trying to distract myself from my depression and anxiety, giving them all the traits I wish I had. They’re what keeps me happy and sane. I have so many WIPs regarding each of them that I’m too lazy to finish but honestly I just love them??? 5. I’m really not that interesting of a person, I’m afraid. /// If we’re friends you can certainly expect to be bombarded with loving and supportive messages all the time. I’m always there to hype you up and give my constant support. Ask @learielle I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I get when she shares something with me. Like yes??? THANK YOU!!!! You’ve blessed my life with your breathtakingly beautiful art and I’m shooketh.
Last question; Is there any Advice you have for your followers, new & Old? Honestly? Don’t be afraid to cut something and or someone from your life if they’re making you second guess yourself. You deserve to love what you do and who you are without feeling fear and anxiety of “What if so and so thinks thats stupid?” Never worry about what other people think of you. For the longest time I never spoke about my OCs solely because a former friend said I was being childish and that it was idiotic. You should never be afraid to express the things you love, no matter what some people may think. If it makes you happy, and isn’t causing anyone harm, then screw them.
I’m tagging, and don’t feel obliged to do it!!! @zaevran, @elvenbeard, @learielle, @darkspawntaxcollectors, @quizzikemen, @vilemie, @i-nq, @antivancorvo
