Witchlands characters and the way they would confess to the people they like

Ahh I have so many thoughts on this. Thank you for sending this ask!

Safi- She would do a flash mob. It’s extra and it’s definitely something Safi would do. (For Safik, Merik gets really embarrassed but he loves it. For Saden, Caden laughs and brings in his flash mob confession. It’s chaotic as hell)

Merik- He writes Safi a speech and gives it to her by the Water Well since she likes it so much there. It’s surprisingly sweet considering Merik doesn’t really have a way with words. He ruined the moment a little by saying how Kullen helped him write down his feelings but Safi ignores that part. (Safi loves the speech. She kisses Merik right after.)

Iseult- Iseult is very shy when it comes to her feelings so she’d try subtle things first. Unfortunately for her, a certain Bloodwitch is oblivious and she would end up getting frustrated. Iseult would take her idiot to a pond at night so they could see the fireflies (I’m a sappy romantic ok) and she would confess her feelings. (Aeduan would freeze but once he got over his shock, they’d have their first kiss.)

Aeduan- He would try asking around to see what would be a romantic place to finally tell Iseult he loves her, but he gives up on that after Safi tells him to take Iseult knife shopping. One day he walks into Owl’s room and sees Iseult tucking her into bed oh so gently and he just blurts out the “I love you” then and there. (Iseult is shocked but very happy and kisses him on the spot.)

Vivia- She takes a while to work up the courage to confess to Stix. Once she does, Vivia makes this elaborate plan to confess in her and Stix’s skiff on the water bridges but everything ends up going wrong. Vivia holes up in her office with her head on her desk until Stix comes to check on her and asks what’s wrong. Vivia decides to just tell her everything. (Stix is so proud of Vivia for finally asking for the love she deserves. She takes Vivia on a celebration ride around Lovats after confessing her own feelings.)

Stix- She marched into Vivia’s office after hearing Serafin say something really mean to Vivia. Stix pulls her into a hug and tells Vivia how much she loves her and that Serafin can fuck off because he’s a worthless hobgoblin. Stix spends the next week doing nothing but making sure Vivia knows how lived she is. (Vivia is unprepared for any of this but loves it all the same. After a while she starts to believe too.)

Ryber- She does the whole thing. A dinner at Kullen’s favorite place, a day of his favorite activities, and finally a nice picnic at their meeting spot outside Lovats. Ryber tells Kullen what she loves about him and that she loves him. It’s very sweet. (Kullen is ecstatic. He accidentally blows over a few trees in his excitement but they could both care less.)

Kullen- He does one of those things where you make the pages of a book into 3D words. Kullen gives it to Ryber (it says I love you Ryberta Fortza). After a speech on the mistreatment of books and her name, Ryber confessed that she loves him too. (She thought it was really sweet even though Kullen mutilated a book like that. He does his best and she loves him for it.)

Vaness- “I like you and would like to enter a romantic relationship with you. Is that acceptable?” (It is absolutely acceptable to Lev who spends at least a month talking about how the empress made the first move. She’s very happy though.)

Caden- He teaches a whole routine to hell bard brigade and has them do it in front of the taro place he took Safi to for dinner. It’s very funny to watch. (Safi loves it and makes Caden teach her the dance so she can join in. They make it the most popular dance in the Orrin mountains.)

Lev- She would walk into a meeting with the Marstoki sultanate and sit on Vaness’s lap and say something like “I think you and me would make a great pair of rulers over Marstok hmm?” Vaness agrees to the horror of her court and glares at anyone who seems upset about their empress’s romantic choices. (They do have a conversation afterwards and start a relationship. Vaness never stops Lev from sitting on her lap at any other function.)
