How does Gallagher die and why do you make us suffer 😔

*SPOILERS FOR THE END OF RWYS*

Haha (I love the questions, don't worry)

I actually tried to hint at her "ending" with her handing Reaper her retirement papers-- I was hoping I'd get some people asking, "hey, why's Galla getting off so easily?" and then I'd show the few chapters before Tahoma getting rescued, have Gallagher die, and make it that much more painful.

The timeline would be as such:

Chapter where a possible holding location for Tahoma is found...

Galla + 141 go to search it out, Galla is shot on the field in front of Reaper, Reaper drags her body back to the helo and desperately tries to shove her organs back into her body, plunging painkiller after painkiller into her, and realizes she can't save her.

Gallagher, who is crying, begging Reaper not to let her die, doesn't realize how bad it is because she can't feel it with all the adrenaline and drugs, watches as Reaper pauses for a moment and calmly holds her face, smiling under the mask.

"Marisha-- Mar, do I look afraid?" Gallagher would weep and stare into Reaper's eyes beyond the mask and sputter out a bloody, "No." Reaper, desperately trying to hold back the wails she wants to release, would smile brighter, and go, "Then trust me."

Gallagher would successfully survive the landing and be carted out on a gurney into the medbay, leaving Reaper, her friend's blood covering her hands and parts of her mask, staring emptily at the woman being carted into the building, would have Ghost approach her. At this point, there was going to be tension between Reaper and Ghost, as Ghost would've gotten overprotective about her getting reckless about finding Tahoma. This tension would cause Reaper to pull away from his comforting touch and walk silently to the medbay on her own, hoping her fears would be proven wrong.

She'd sit staring at the floor for what felt like months, waiting for those surgery bay doors to open, the flood of specialists telling her Marisha was okay, and would be able to retire in peace, but it wouldn't come. Ghost and Soap would wander in, the Scot, a small attempt at a smile playing on his lips, asking if she was still in there.

The operation rooms doors would quietly push open, a meek doctor stepping through and approaching the trio. Reaper'd push herself right out of her chair and meet him in the middle, speaking for the first time in hours, "Well?"

She would be heaving, eyes scanning his face for any sign of hope, only to see defeat. "She lasted seven minutes."

Reaper would hardly hold herself up at that moment, a wave of nausea and grief washing over her as the doctor and her friends watched her stumble back once. He tried to elaborate and apologize to the sergeant, but she would've grabbed the front of his shirt in a mess of pain and fury and asked if he even knew how to save lives, if he even knew how to do his job right. That, if his only purpose as a medic was to help people, why did he fail now? Why today? Was it purposeful? Was he that fucking stupid?

Soap and Ghost would pull her back, causing her to stumble slightly and shove their hands away from her, a half-storm, half-stumble out of the room. She'd wind up locking herself in Gallagher's office, dry heaving and sobbing as she paced around the room and grasped as her shirt as if it were suffocating her.

Dried blood would crack on her gloves as she, trembling, fell to the floor and curled into a ball, sobbing and apologizing quietly over and over again. Hours would follow as she would beg for Marisha to please come back, to please, just wake her up from this nightmare.

Chapter where Reaper and Ghost talk, heal, and reunite over their tension. This would be a major comfort chapter for Reaper.

yep! it's already been pretty much confirmed that mizuki is the next niigo event so unless they pull ena5 or kanade5 out of nowhere it means mizuki is october slot 1 and ena is the anniversary lim

My favourite RWBY Characters

1. Yang Xiao Long

I love her. She's funny, she's confident, she's strong. I really like her Semblance, too (who doesn't love a good temper tantrum XD). She's a good sister (despite haters saying otherwise 🙄) and I am excited to see more of her being a girlfriend.

2. Weiss Schnee

Okay, she's really a brat in Volume 1. But she's come so far. She is really well written and I love how much she's grown. She's a good friend and she kept her promise: being the best teammate.

3. Nora Valkyrie

I mean, she is queen of the castle :D

She is super fun, but she can also be the voice of reason (as seen in Irowoods office). She speaks her mind and really loves to eat (i can relate to that one XD)

Personally, I could see a sort of Power Rangers/Avatar-esque future seasons after Team RWBY defeats Salem. Where we have a new team dealing with other facets of Remnant that RWBY glanced at.

The thought kinda sprung from my Tokyo Mew Mew/RWBY AU idea with an all Faunus team facing aggressions micro or major together. A play off of Team RWBY's familial element.

Basically not a reboot as so many of the "critics" push so much as a new story and cast altogether in the same world and its elements. No need to start over Team RWBY's journey. Especially when some rewrites might as well be new characters in a new story.

That'd be potentially very cool, and a fun way to explore Remnant from new angles.

PUTER MASTERPOST AT LAST!!!

If you’re one of the people that asked me for this, the wait is over!!

To my pleasant surprise since I started it puter has become probably the most popular thing I’ve made which I’m SO grateful for… so, I thought it only fair to give the people what they ask for and make a full master post compiling all the content I’ve made for the au thus far!! This will be updated as I post, hopefully.

Keep in mind that puter is still a work in progress, so there will be a lot that doesn’t work or make sense yet, but trust me, I’m working on it! Remember, patience is key!!

So, without further ado, here it is!!!

Quick Summary

For anyone wondering what puter actually is, here’s the gist:

Following the events of OMORI’s neutral ending (specifically the one in which basil dies… specific variation of THAT isn’t too key at the moment but that might change for plot reasons…), five years after the move, with some help from his mother, sunny is improving… very slightly. In fact, he’s had enough motivation to pull together a shitty little flash game, fuelled by his past passion for them. He’s still not fully all there, and he still spends most of his time in headspace asleep, but now he has SOMETHING to work on outside of it, and it’s giving him the slightest reason and encouragement to wake up each morning. The slightest.

And, notably, one of the characters in said shitty flash game is actually based on Mari… Even when he isn’t really trying to, he ends up putting her in the game anyway, because he wants mari to be safe, and he’s so consumed by guilt and regret that he feels obliged to make her in worlds where she can be okay. Another sort of subconscious way of both immortalising her and apologising to her in another fun, perfect world of his design, where no harm can befall her, and everything is perfect. He didn’t kill her. They never argued. Mari is okay. Mari is fine, again. He’s sorry. He’s so, so sorry.

However… this stand in mari character actually gains sentience and becomes self aware, convincing itself that it truly is mari… leading to a LOT of stuff. We call her “mariware” over here, by the way!

The au’s actual storyline takes place years after this, following kel after he visits sunny’s mother five years after his mysterious suicide, and possessing a flash drive containing her son’s game… and, as we know, something else.

As stated like thirty times at this point… VERY work in progress!!! But I do have most of it figured out… though I’m not sure how to convey it as an actual story yet… but that will come with time, I’m sure!!!

Jaune does not know Penny is an android when he meets her. He doesn’t find out until she dies the first time, like everyone else

Penny, on the other hand, immediately knows Jaune is not human or Faunus. She looks at him one time and just Knows the way that Penny just knows

She can see his core temperature is higher than a person’s should be without suffering from severe illness. She can tell that his skin is literally thicker than any Remnantian. She sees him wince when hearing pitches too high or too low for any person to pick up

And of course, there’s the two hearts

He’s not human, and not Faunus, and he’s certainly not a synthetic being like her. Which leaves only one possibility: Extraterrestrial life

Penny of course doesn’t care that he’s an alien and also doesn’t tell anyone. She assumes that everyone knows the same way she assumes RWY already know Blake is a Faunus

What she DOES care about is that Jaune is someone Other, the same way she is someone Other. They’re not human, they’re not Faunus, they’re someone More. But they also both sort of wish they weren’t

When they get to Atlas, the two of them talk at length about this

RWY & JNR+O have figured out that when speaking alone with Blake they can speak super quietly and Blake won't even notice cause it sounds like a normal volume to her. Something Ruby takes advantage of when doing stealth missions.

Nora and Ren have seen each other naked YEARS ago. Reached that random friendship milestone a LONG time ago. As such they have no issue changing around each other.

Rigo doesn't die! He retires shortly after Tahoma. I'm not gonna go into full detail because it's not your question, but Gallagher does die and it hits Rigo full force, leading to his fast retirement.

Rigo would then go into early education as a preschool teacher and marry Gary, they'd have two kids, a little girl and a little boy, and raise them in San Diego.

Do the vsingers put into an event lineup / event song always play a major role in the story? Ik that card distribution is very meta so I’m wondering if the stories are planned around card distribution. Or is it all arbitrary.

The vsinger is always the one with the most plot relevance, or if they're not really relevant then the one who gets most screentime. In events with more than one vsinger the higher rarity one will be the more important one.

I hate Blake rn, but holy shit I would've asked for a team transfer within the first fucking week. Not only did she end up in a team and dorm room with a well-known fucking racist, her other teammates aren't shit either.

Ruby can have a little point for at least trying to understand Blake, but the comment about the kitty ear? Bruh. Ruby, stick with the program, that's canonically racist.

Yang....bro, Yang just sucks as a friend. Legit, the writers focused too much on using her as the comedic relief for the early volumes that when they fuck up with the humor (again, the fucking RACISM), she comes off as a real jackass. Even her understanding moment in Vol 2 was shown with violence against Blake, and after everything, ya'll expect me to see them as a couple?? N a w.

I still don't like that Blake practically abandons her crew, despite it all. It was just fucking shitty of her to do, especially when Yang lost a fucking arm to save her bitch ass. Not to mention that she's abusive as hell to the guy who risked his life to protect her, so nah, Blake ain't shit either. All of them should fucking explode together in an atomic blast considering how absolutely toxic they are as people.

Sure!

I think that V1-5 Weiss would start out not liking her counterpart very much and that the two of them might develop a rivalry actually, with V1-5 Weiss being like "That imposter is NOT like me. She's less skilled and her attitude is somehow way worse than mine was a year ago!" And the V6-9 Weiss being like "I can't believe I was ever this annoying," and V1-5 Weiss would think her other self is weak and ineffectual while V6-9 Weiss would think HER other self is mean and self-centered. But the changes in Weiss in the show(while bad enough) are still subtle enough that they'd act more like twins and also be on each other's sides sometimes, and both of them have the distinction of being able to be a bit more calm and self-reflective. Also though I think they'd both get possessive over their loved ones and on a funnier note, V1-5 Weiss would be so disgusted and annoyed by V6-9 Weiss's apparent interest in Jaune. XD

If you had asked me about Ruby's reaction to her future counterpart prior to V9, I would've said that V1-5 Ruby would hate her. But I think after V9, while V1-5 Ruby would still probably get very annoyed by her other self, I think she'd be primarily confused and perturbed by the changes, but also like Blake want to help her other self, but V6-9 Ruby would be resistant. I'm imagining V1-5 Ruby smiling and being like "I know things look bleak, and I know you're tired, but you can-" and V6-9 Ruby is like "I know what you’re gonna say" and V1-5 Ruby is like "Eh... What?" And V6-9 Ruby would tell her that SHE'S made those speeches already, a lot, and it hadn't gotten her far, and then V1-5 Ruby would be like "Well... I'm gonna say it again, with MORE passion! Because we're gonna do it, and that's that!" I think it would actually be fun to watch, because post-V9 Ruby just wants someone else to be the leader, and is more cynical and seems to want to think things through and be realistic (and has those weird Torchwickisms) and she's just tired and needs some help, and V1-5 Ruby would literally identify the problem, help, BE THE LEADER, and have all her optimistic ways and determination and drag V6-9 Ruby along with her.... But V6-9 Ruby would literally be able to lean into the realistic ways and be able to be the person telling V1-5 Ruby to think about the cost of things and things like that. It might actually work out for them.

V1-5 Yang I think actually WOULD hate her V6-9 self. I think coming out of V5 (which I still say is Yang at her best,) V5 Yang would be so weirded out and exasperated by her other self, and spend all her time trying to deal with her while trying to stay level-headed. Like, V6-9 Yang would be like "Ruby doesn't need any change, she's never doubted herself" and V1-5 Yang would be like "Well that's not true, Ruby HAS doubted herself." And V6-9 Yang would act like her own teammates are a threat to Blek because they raised their voice a little, and OG Yang would be like "Are you KIDDING me? They weren’t going to attack you, why are you so paranoid?" And just generally argue with her other self all the time. They might even come to blows if it got bad enough!

I think Ren and his other self would mostly be chill, able to just hang out, though I do think that V1-5 Ren would like, crack dry good natured jokes and V6-9 Ren would be like "It isn't the time for that," because he seems generally more serious than his younger self.

V1-5 Nora would ALSO fight with her other self a lot, I think, but she'd spend more of her time trying to ignore V6-9 Nora and trying to befriend and take care of everyone else that she decides her other self 'isn't treating right.' XD She'd like, have her arm around Oscar and be like "Nobody is mean to my boy Oscar OR my boy Oz, you all - Other Ren, come stand behind me. Nobody be mean to them!"

V.1-5 Jaune would ALSO hate his V6-9 self so much. He'd be like "so you're not only telling me that I turned into this weird buff Cardin-haired weird white-streaked weird super weird guy, but he was just a forty year old man with a beard... And I'm like THIS?" And V6-9 Jaune would be like "You don't know what I've suffered alone" and V1-5 Jaune would be like "Ohhh I just bet, vomit boy. See, this is why I hate myself." I think V1-6 Jaune would just be so unable to connect with his alternate that he just kind of blocks him out and refuses to even call him Jaune, and would just be like "Tough guy over there-" and his other self would be like -_-

I'm not saying all these reactions would be totally fair, but it's what I think would probably happen. XD

I'm not sure if this account is where you prefer asks being sent to but. how are we feeling about the new bloomfes fragment Sekai story mechanic where the character TURNS INTO their younger self (at least, the human characters) and goes through all of their past memories? Because personally I think *loud sobbing and sniffling noises as I pace around my room* /pos

I immediately did 300000 backflips in my mind when that happened. Breaking: Tumblr user light-sound-jc/01ichika-jc is going insane about jc.

One of my longest speculations for Saki's fes since it was taking so long to drop is that Saki could go back in time and visit herself from back when she was hospitalized. It didn't happen (I unrelatedly liked Saki fes for the visual callback to NSNF in the trained card) but now that Kanade's fes2 has dropped the absolute bomb that it did, we could get this and more. And that's amazing

There are soooooo many other characters where the implications of this new bloomfes development could be CRAZY. An telling her younger self about RAD BLAST, about VBS/Kohane in general, Minori telling her younger self about MMJ (and especially her personal run-in with Haruka), Rui telling his younger self about WxS... it's absolutely catastrophic. In a very good way

I've been wondering about things for Ichika because... hmm. How do I put this without sounding crazy. Leoni's first arc (Stella, Doubts, TwiPara, RWY) was centered on the girls' thoughts about being back together and how it's been affecting their emotional states. This involved a lot of tying the past back into the present especially in the case of Stella. But Ichika conspicously never got an event for this arc. Even still we haven't really looked into Ichika's psyche like we have for the others. LWM teases us with the prospect but it doesn't go into depth. I would say the closest we have right now is Ichika's initial 4* card story and that was four years ago at this point. Even Ichika's fes didn't touch on this the way that HonaShiho's fes did. And Shiho and Saki have entire middle school backstory events

I've been thinking if my fever dream of an Ichika MS event (wow I wonder why Tumblr user 01ichika-jc wants to see that!) doesn't come true then Ichika's fes2 may finally answer the questions that have been eating at me since forever about why the game keeps dancing around Ichika's past and her feelings towards it
