1991 Mika, Jazz Philadelphia, PA “South Philly Moments” It was the Fall of 1991, the infamous South Philly section of The city who claimed “Brotherly Love” was at its pinnacle during the late 80s and early 90s. As we dust off the old albums that sad for many years untouched. The aura possessed by our Philadelphia Queens remain undefiled. The “After Hour” Moments that seem like distant memories still remain one of the most memorable and most iconic landmarks in the city of Philadelphia. You will see many Ballers, shot callers in attendance at this infamous location. It was a casual location, typical after hour spot who’s hours of operation were between 2:00AM to 5:30AM, a real after hour scene that displayed how the city never slept. Philadelphia nights would always have something to get into, Somewhere to go and many people to see. It was the stage that most people needed. A lot of people gravitated to the city of Philadelphia. It was one of those moments where the feel was different. Something that just seems complex to articulate. “The 1980’s and early 1990’s was a good time in Philly!” Said Jazz. Mika age 20 seen above wearing the black leather trench coat and @reebok classic white/whites. Jazz age 21 at the time, could be seen wearing the classic Black/Black Pair. The Reebok classics during the 90s was one of the most popular sneakers ever made that doesn’t get its recognition as it should. Analyzing an understanding the Times of the early 90s shows us how valuable the moments curated by the Queens reigned supreme. These women acquired A pure magnetic energy amongst each other that was defined infrequent compared to what is seen today. Literature Review Troubles

Does this hurt your head? Because that is how my brain feels as it is frying trying to come up with the perfect research questions. This is the hardest part for me. Trying to concoct the ideal research questions. As soon as I think I have the perfect question, an impurity peeks its little head up. Literature Review

One problem I think I will experience with this assignment is that I need to make a very good research to find trustful and reliable sources that will support my claims.

Another issue I will face during the assignment is that I need to make my research interesting enough to grab my audience’s attention. But also it needs to be written in an efficient way with appropiate and adequate information.

And finally one of my biggest concerns about this is how I’m going to write so many pages and answer my research questions with facts and without  expressing my opinion.

Iconographic Details with Kermit the Frog

Genre: Comedic Satire

This blog is iconographic with one typographic detail in it, which allows the viewer to see what the puppet is saying. 

Purpose:  The purpose of this gif is an allusion to an old eighties commercial for Life Alert in which an old lady fell and cried for help because she couldn't get up off the floor.  This gif also alludes to the Muppets Show character Kermit the Frog, which has struggled for ratings over the years.

Audience:  The audience for this gif is broad, but mostly for people who are old enough to remember the eighties and the Life Alert commercials. The audience can also be for anyone who can recognize that the floppy frog is supposed to be Kermit.  However, this gif can be enjoyed by anyone who is struggling with life in general; for instance, anyone that is struggling with their RWS 1302 project and are saying HELP.

Ethos:  There is absolutely no credibility here.  The person who created this gif had to use a fake Kermit the Frog due to the fact that the only one who could give them copyright protection has passed away.  So this is not a scene from any of the Muppet shows.

Logos:  There is evidence to support the fact the "fake" Kermit is in trouble, which would be the word "Help" and the fact that he is falls to the floor.  He also appears to be asking someone on the phone for help.  Whether he called for help, or he was asking a person who called him for help is unknown.  Nevertheless, the frog appears distressed and is in need of assistance. 

Pathos:  This gif is funny to most people who watch it due to the fact that Kermit the Frog is an iconic figure and has always been known to be a serious, loving, peaceful frog.  Now he is in trouble, and I think that is what makes this gif hilarious.  In addition, anyone can relate to this gif because it is easy to empathize with the feeling of despair the frog might be in. 

Delivery:  There is no better way to deliver this message than with Kermit the Frog falling to the floor after asking for help.  No matter what the circumstance was that this gif was presented Kermit gets the point across in his delivery of one word and one action.
