Weapon: Hephaestus

Scarlet’s childhood friend and the son of Emerald and Mercury. Has an interest in weaponry, particularly firearms and explosives, and prefers to use a basic but exceedingly well-maintained front-loaded machine pistol named Hephestus as his weapon of choice. His Semblance, Transporter, grants him the ability to summon objects into his hands, provided that he’s already previously touched the object in question, that the object he intends to transport isn’t a living thing, and that the transported object isn’t larger and/or heavier than himself. Additionally, Transporter is a one-way street, only capable of summoning objects, not dispelling them. In combat, he utilizes this ability to have a near-endless supply of ammunition of all varieties, grenades in both military surplus and homemade flavors, knives of every shape and size imaginable, and other items such as caltrops to harass opponents from mid-range and support his teammates, alongside recalling items such as his and his teammate’s weapons. Due to his Semblance’s specificity and his penchant for tinkering with exceedingly dangerous materials, he’s a bit of a neat freak. He stores the vast majority of his possessions in a small warehouse near Beacon generously provided by Dr Pine, that also serves as a clubhouse for SJJL, BGEL, and their other friends.

✨Desc✨

Alright it’s new OC introduction time, alongside some redesigns I made for my own version of Oscar from RWBY & my RWBY OC, Renée!

Since this was for my Free Title homework & that we could practice / do studies of whatever we wanted for it, I thought that I could try doing cloth drawing studies :D At the same time, I had this vision in my head about a ghost bride, & I took the opportunity to turn her into an OC :3 Her name is Mildred, & the other two kids are Elias & Brielle! I’m thinking of calling their story “When we all Fall Asleep, Where do we Go?”, as it takes place in an afterlife /limbo, & that the story is told mainly from the kids’ perspectives.

Elias & Brielle are 10 year olds who passed from diseases; Mildred also passed from a disease, but at a much older age as you can see. Elias is from the 1800’s, Brielle from the 2000’s & Midred came from a time that’s somewhere in between. Their afterlife is inspired by the Webtoon Nevermore, as I quite like the idea of an afterlife consisting of people from all sorts of time periods. Time is non-existent there, & it’s a very grim & dark parallel of Earth, looking like a version of it that’s drained of life and light in general.

Despite all that however, I think I’ll make the story a kind of slice-of-life adventure. Considering how young Elias & Brielle were when they passed, they’ll decide to travel the world of the afterlife they’re in together, albeit it not mirroring the same amount of beauty the original Earth has. And that’s all I’ll share about them for now :3

Moving onto Oscar’s redesign, I just changed some parts of his Atlas outfit cause it does look fine the way it is, but like some of the latest RWBY designs, some parts of it doesn’t make sense, at least to me. Then for Renée, this is simply a test, pick & choose kind of design process? This isn’t her final design, however
