Fictober Day 1 - "that was good work"

A snowy clearing in a forest made up black-barked trees. In the center of the clearing are many dead beowolves, turning to black ash. Only one more beowolf remains and heading right towards was a flurry of red rose petals, Ruby Rose herself, but a bit older. She no longer a teenage: She a little tall, her hair is a little longer, and she is missing one of her silver eyes. In the amidst the petals, the head Crescent Rose wraps around the beowolf and she fires off a gunshot. The shot forces her upwards, and the head of her High-Caliber Sniper-Scythe right through the neck of the beowolf. The beowolf's head rolls onto the ground as turns to ashes. Ruby lands on the snowy ground and looks around at her handiwork.

Ruby smiles, "That was good work and I still got it."
