A fanfic theory idea for rwby post v8 e13

Fun fact: I had a German test on Monday, so to relax I thought I’d go onto tumblr on Sunday, and it turned out to be the single greatest mistake I ever made because I found out then that Yang had fallen off the platform and turned into gold dust as she fell into the void AFTER not catching her literal lifeline so my mind has been coming up with a what if scenario about what happens next in the form of fanfic plot points

Fragmented memories like that of mirror shards

- end of battle, cinder and Neo escape, rwb sad before realising that ambrosius can’t kill

- Summon ambrosius, convo goes something like “ah, another chance to exercise my creative— oh it’s you guys, again— hey yellow is gone”

- RWB ask him about his warning, he tells them that his vault is about creativity, and that his creativity is like a bottomless pit

- He explains that falling is not fatal, however what goes in is going to be very difficult to extract out (in reference to oscar

- Semblance is manifestation of aura, aura is soul manifestation, and falling into vault fragments soul (thus yellow powder after falling in) (also think of fragments like mirror fragments such that each piece reflects a certain past or truth)

- Worlds created tend not to make sense as it follows a particular fragment’s memory or logic, but it is theoretically possible to put the fragments together to bring the person back (why penny soul remembers shtuff)

- After discussing with the rest of the other people like green team and Jaune team, they plan for what to do for vacuo and stuff

- RWB resolve to get Yang out, while other people who also fell in... well they’re living better lives, can’t exactly save them if you don’t know who the extras are

- Somehow get into vault without fragmenting themselves, with Ambrosius building a pathway for them (rabbit hole) directly to yang’s first fragmented world

- At the end of the path is just darkness, and the team wonders if they lost until they suddenly find themselves in Patch, a recreation of it

- Place is misty as hell (long forgotten memories), and Ruby sees her house and leads team there

- No one else is around, so Weiss goes straight to trying to knock on the door

- Knocking on the door, they easily find the first fragment, a young Yang about five years old

- The fragment confuses Ruby for Summer, and that’s when Ruby realises that her clock has changed to white among other things (such as how the cakes and drink in Alice in wonderland change one’s size and how the end of the story is about Alice recognising the logic and stuff) because Yang has perceived her to be their mother. Weiss and Blake are unaffected as this fragment has no prior memory of them at this age

- other shenanigans at each major life point

The goal is to reconcile the abandonment issues that Yang has, because we have the Story of the girl who fell through the world was that when she found her way back she was sad and not the same and honestly I just want a nice twist where Yang’s sad in the sense that she has, with the help of the team, finally accepted those abandonment issues of hers (bitch I think this has gone on way too long please for the love of god let her accept those fears and progress but feel free to correct me) and is no longer the same person in the sense that she has grown from the experience

And now my thoughts continue to be overwhelmed with oh shit what’s next when I don’t even watch the show, just slices of it in gifs but it’s forcing my brain to come up with scenarios that I’m too lazy to write a full fanfic out of but still want to theorise stuff which is why I’m here right now

whitetail-buck!lottie who loves to put up a fight. lottie gets a thrill out of being hunted down, the feeling of being someone’s prey excites her more than anything. the wind in her lungs and the heavy beating of her chest as she runs from her predator is extremely euphoric.

whitetail-buck!lottie who can manipulate anyone with her charm. she appears endearing to everyone, covering up how sneaky and deceiving she truly is. this is exactly how she grew a following, by feigning innocence.

whitetail-buck!lottie who loves to curl up next to her predators (especially a certain coyote), taunting them until they snap at her. her favorite thing in the world is teasing.

coyote!natalie:

coyotes are powerful hunters. though they don’t look like they could pack a punch due to their cute and fuzzy appearance, they are some of the most vicious predators out there. coyote!natalie is a prime example of this. she looks approachable with her cute pointy ears and fluffy tail, but she’s really a creature of the night.

coyote!natalie who holds a soft spot for some of her prey. she can’t help forming relationships with those she’s not supposed to be with, it’s part of her character. even then, it’s still incredibly difficult for her not to sink her teeth in to her loved ones.

coyote!natalie who is an absolute horndog. you heard me. barking up every wall, humping anything and everything left and right. 24/7, 365 days. this girl cannot give it a rest.

grey wolf!shauna:

grey wolf!shauna who doesn’t quite fit into her role. no matter how hard she tries to be a dangerous predator, she’s too emotional to get the job done. grey wolf!shauna spends most nights at her den (cabin lol) curled up instead of hunting with the rest of her pack (the yellowjackets).

grey wolf!shauna who’s more of a puppy than a wolf. she loves her hair being played with and her ears being scratched. when you rub that perfect spot on her belly she practically melts into you.

grey wolf!shauna who can really intimidate when she needs to, even if it’s superficial. when this girl feels threatened or angered, her snarl can project for miles. it makes her appear extremely vicious.

black bear!taissa who would do anything to protect her loved ones. whether it’s her pack, her animal friends, or little fox mate, she will go to great lengths to keep them safe.

black bear!taissa who loves a good nap (even if she does behave strangely during her slumber). she can hibernate for days if she wants to.

black bear!taissa who tries to be as gentle as possible, even with her big claws and sharp teeth. she was born with the power, but she doesn’t intend to do any harm.

red fox!van who is the most playful (dare i say sly) fox you will ever meet. she loves to play pranks on those she knows, often running away snickering.

red fox!van who is just as smart as she is silly. she is the sneakiest fox of her pack, devising master plans on how to catch her prey.

red fox!van who is extremely loyal to people she trusts. she will protect those she follows at all costs, stopping at nothing to keep them safe.

rideau-arcott lamb!lauralee who could do no wrong. she is the most innocent creature to ever grace the earth, and would never hurt a fly.

rideau-arcotf lamb!lauralee who always stays true to her faith. when she believes in something, she will stop at nothing to prove her loyalty.

beaver!mari:

beaver!mari who does so much for the others, and doesn’t get enough appreciation. she is one of the hardest workers out there, and the other animals could never give her enough thanks.

beaver!mari who mostly sticks to herself. she is a lone creature, often not socializing with the others very much. though, this doesn’t mean she’s shy, just uninterested.

beaver!mari who honestly just wants to survive. she’s sick of the drama, she prays that one day everyone will shut up, get along, and do their job.

rabbit!jackie:

rabbit!jackie who is as sweet as she is popular. she’s so loved for a reason. she genuinely tries to be kind to everyone, even if they don’t realize it.

rabbit!jackie who always forms bonds with those she shouldn’t. even if she knows it’ll damage her in the end, she does it out of love. she can’t help but trust anyone who shows her affection.

rabbit!jackie who is still at the bottom of the food chain. unfortunately in every universe, she will meet an end, but not without haunting the thoughts of everyone who knew her for an eternity.

pine marten!misty:

pine martens are known to hunt for foods such as berries, and more importantly, fungi. pine marten!misty is no stranger to this practice, but it often results in others demise.

pine marten!misty who snoops around a little too much. as a sneaky species, she makes sure she knows anything and everything about anyone. this has turned her into somewhat of a detective.

just because pine marten!misty solves crime doesn’t mean that she won’t commit it. oh yeah, misty will go to great lengths to help people around her, deeming herself a hero of sorts.
