The ISS Burning Horizon is a collaborative research and anomaly investigation ship funded by Piory Technologies and The Pursuit of Complete and Unchallenged Knowledge, managed (predominantly) by humans and slugcats respectively. Two renowned scientists, Dr. Irene Mosley and Yamara "Six-Times-Triumphant," argue about the possible causes of an irregularity on a pre-FTL planet they've been assigned to monitor. Behind them stands Bodie, an adolescent Scavenger apprentice who only got the job because of the stereotype that Scavengers and Slugcats are by default educated on each other's cultures due to their shared home planet (they're not). He brought the piece of information that caused the argument and now the scientists are too distracted to notice him, but as a rule of etiquette he is not allowed to leave until dismissed.

a few days ago, I revived my years old hyperfixation. so what better way to keep it in memory than to make an AU based on it with my current special interest <-- has happened several times before

I present to you all: ttte atla AU! set in an era (or rather alternate universe) where the hundred year war didn't happen, the air nomads are still around, and the main conflict -- though it still came from the same source which is the fire nation -- is different now; which is a crazed nonbender scientist from the fire nation with a strong dislike for bending arts and having his own army of technology-boosted soldiers

i am working on a new rain world au called “the solution” and i think its more or less coming along nicely

general idea is that post-SOS death, her broadcast about the solution was an entirely false idea, a trojan virus if you will

once an iterator were to use that code on themselves, itd disable their firewall and safety systems, then embed the virus within their code

then, after a few cycles, they’d slowly lose their sanity, eventually resulting in this

also iterators with whitish eyes will have their eyes gradually fade to black as the cycles continue, eventually becoming solid black at the end (as my personal idea with iterators is that their eyes are LED screens)

i havent thought of lore past that LOL

WC/RW DAY 5: SPEARMASTER

this is needleclaws, one of the deadliest warriors of drizzleclan! they don't look it, but their agility and natural talent for battle are not to be messed with. they used to be a kittypet named spikes, but were led to the clan through strange visions

needleclaws is a lykoi! i thought a partially hairless cat would fit nicely with spearmaster's skinny and almost alien look in rain world :3 when they joined drizzleclan, they requested to keep their poncho, as it was a gift from their housefolk [and kept them nice and warm]. peachstar was more than happy to oblige for the comfort of her warrior

This is a comic from a part of my Rain World fanfic Digital Hallucinations. Basically, the rot deteriorates Pebbles' memory, and takes over his overseers to project images of people he used to know luring his to be consumed by it.

Not so fun.
